However, on the transfer front we aren't going to spend big over January. Fergie doesn't like making big signings half way through a season(apart from andy cole). SAF want Hargreaves, deal about 17 million pound or 10 million + O'Shea
For GIGGS replacement: NANI from Sporting (ManUtd truly has a link with the club) or Stewart DOWNING , but Morten GAMST Pedersen move from Blackburn is more likely. They worth about 7-10 million pound per feet. Only in the summer transfer window.
For SCHOLES replacement:
There's a rumour about the arrives of Rafael van der VAART or Freddy ADU. Vaart would fit into the team easily, but ADU is NIKE's man so probably he will be bought. If it comes true he will go for a loan to another club to get experienced until Scholes' retirement.
Forward question: TORRES is also contracted to NIKE. So NIKE will probably push this deal to has 3 of his new men (Rooney, Ronaldo Torres) in one team concerning Nike Pro The secret weapon marketing. But, it is more likely to sign Huntelaar, because his playing style fit much more into the premier league. He'll be probably the new Nistelrooy.

As I previously said, I work with the father of one of Charlton's senior players who told me that things started badly. I was worried and he has been proved right.
I asked if he knew anything about the departure of Dowie and the future for the team and he told me a few things. Firstly, Les Reed was not instrumental in ID's sacking. He agreed with the move but the biggest problem was with the players. When the review was carried out after the initial poor results, all but 5 players said that they had no faith in Dowie's methods and they found him arrogant and unhelpful. ID and Mark Robson were also poles apart in their methods. Dowie has had a very hard time accepting this and the CAFC board were concerned at what he would do at one stage. He was apparently quite agressive at times.
As for the future, Reed will be given unti February to turn the club's fortunes around. The players are happier but many feel the damage has been done - there is a bit of a split in the camp to some degree and there may be a lot of movement in January.
The really bad news is that Darren Bent is going. There have been tentative enquiries from Man U and Liverpool - unless we are clear of the relegation zone at the end of January, the club won't be able to afford to turn down a good bid (in the region of £12million)

Rangers would never sell Ferguson he is just turned 28 and the best player in scotland and would be looking for close to 8m not 2.5m (laughing out very loud). With Prso and Novo leaving in the summer, Alan Smith is considered along with Diouf. My source also tells me that Burke had agreed on the deal offered, just wanted wait until January to sign when he was fit but because fans took it the wrong way, he will now sign within the week. 10k + 4k if 30 games played.Currently the best player outside the Premiership by a long way QPR winger Lee Cook will be sold in January. Summer signngs may include Van Der Vaart, Huntelaar, Heitinga and Micah Richards. Aguero will not sign because we had the chance to buy him but we refused to pay what Athletico Madrid offered, and they are not going to let there new record signing leave so soon considering he is having a good season with them. Also, Pompey manager Harry Redknapp will cancel the loan signing of Rodolph Douala who has struggled since joining the club from Sporting Lisbon. Niko Kranjcar will have to wait until the end of the season to find out if he's earned a permanent switch to Portsmouth.
