Charlie Austin has decided to retire from professional football and has decided to sign for my Sunday League team, anything to prevent the non-stop articles about him on here!(15)(6)

 29 Nov 2010 18:16:39
Re: Charlie Austin and proposed Liverpool move.

Charlie had the opportunity to trial with them last summer, and also had bids lodged for him by Forest (this is why they wanted to play a friendly at the County Ground) and Newcastle. However, he said no to a move away then and would do the same now.

If Swindon were relegated, he may consider moving but so long as Swindon stay in League 1 and are seen to be moving forward he'll be happy there.(2)(7)

To be honest i dnt really knw where charlie austin will be going, only he knows wat hes doing.but for people to say that he will take legal action if the rumours dnt stop is ridiculous, all he has to do to stop the rumours is say hes staying or going, and to say he won't go to burnley cos there not a big club is idiotic, there bigger than swindon have been in the last few years.(5)(5)

Notts County will have a clear out of players in January with up to 6 or 7 players leaving the club. Jake Jervis & Luke Hubbins will finish their loans, Greame Lee, Ben Davies, Luke Rodgers will leave along with a couple of others. These players leaving will make way for Paul Ince to bring in a number of his own players.(9)(1)

Carlo Ancelotti is set to tender his resignation this week.(24)(13)

Heard a random rumour today, Apparently Liverpool will sign Swindon Town striker Charlie Austin in January, Kenny Dalglish sees him as a future star and possible England international and the club are happy to pay good money for him to develop at the club. The price will be 1.5 million plus add ons, also Goalkeeper Charles Itandje will go the other way as Swindon are set to lose one of the goalkeepers in January. Austin would be loaned back to Swindon for the rest of the season too.

I said it was random!(12)(23)

 29 Nov 2010 16:26:37
Andy Drury will be leaving Luton Town in February for a League club for a six figure sum. Not bad for a player who was picked up on a free.

Charlie Henry, recently signed from Newport County, is a more than capable replacement.

Danny Crow may also be on his way out, along with several young players on loan.(11)(3)

 29 Nov 2010 16:07:45
Argyles future will be safe by december the 8th risdale should be at the club soon as the world cup bid is confirmed that's if england don't get it he will be the new member on board as the only reason the board have not sold the club as they will see if england get the bid but risdale will be on the board by the end of week but we don't get the bid he may well be the owner and will save argyle and will invest in the club not outside it.(12)(5)

 29 Nov 2010 16:08:57
Anyone got any argyle rumours have you ed got any plymouth rumours ? {ed's note - nothing has been decided, until the World Cup bid is sorted no one will even know if there is a budget in January or not.}(10)(2)

Leicester City to make permanent moves for loanees Kyle Naughton (Tottenham), Curtis Davies (Aston Villa), Chris Kirkland (Wigan) and Roman Bednar (West Brom) in January. Manchester City have ruled out the option of Leicester signing Greg Cunningham permanently but are willing to let him extend his loan until the end of the season. Miguel Vitor (Benfica) will not be staying past the end of the season(22)(10)

 29 Nov 2010 13:35:49
No.1 cockney toon, hammill will not be joining newcastle, listen to recent interviews with him. And at least get his name right if you're going to start rumours(13)(3)

 29 Nov 2010 13:30:16
Liverpool are after the signature of Bolton's big Swede, Johan Elmander who's been in good form of late, scoring 8 goals thus far in the League. Bolton are asking for 5 mil because he recently denied a one-year extension and his contract runs out at the end of the season. They might want to cash in on him rather than see him fly off for nothing. He'll surely be able to take some pressure of Torres and bring some much-needed strength to the Liverpool front line.(26)(23)

 29 Nov 2010 12:43:05
Peter risdale wil join argyles but he will own the club if england don't get the wc bid which will mean as expected the current board will walk that is the current delay but he will join the board regardless of the bid and will clear of debts and will give reid a few million.(17)(9)

Charlie Austin is in great demand. A number of championship clubs after his signature including Leeds and Hull, also a couple of Premiership clubs including Newcastle and West Ham. I have it on good authority though that a deal has already been struck with Burnley for 1.2 million.

Haha don't kid yourself. A deal has not been struck and why the hell would he want to go Burnley when there are more attractable & respectable clubs as Hull, Leeds, Newcastle & west ham involved? ?

Dream on if you think Burnley have any chance. He thinks you are a small club in a league way out of your depth.

How are burnley out of their depth? We've been in the championship for years n years now so its not our of our depth, we're slap bang in the middle of our depth mate. Burnley have no debt, a fantastic squad and one of the (if not the) most loyal fanbases in football so why would he turn down a club where he could be a star player rather than a bit part player at a bigger club?

Get a grip son(13)(14)

NUFC Rumours:

Andy Hammill to the Toon. £2mil + sell on clause
If (and this is a big if) Ramsey does not extend on his Notts Forest loan expect Hughton to make a cheeky loan bid - Arsene prob. won't need him this season.
Alan Smith on his way out (which is a shame, he just doesn't look quick enough anymore for the Prem. game) unknown central midfielder expected to come in (unless Ramsey does sign on loan).
Elmander to be offered a contract after the 1st of Jan, but alot of people will be doing the same so not a definate signing.
Steven Taylor is 50/ 50 on signing an extension worth £45'000, although he is holding out for more (which is fair enough considering we are unlikely to get a better central defender).

Any other NUFC rumours?

From the No.1 Cockney Toon.(14)(16)

Wolves are weighing up a £200,000 bid for Nice's Mali international striker Mamadou Bagayoko following his trial at Molineux.Bagayoko, 31, who is out of contract at the end of the season spent three days training with Wolves last week.Manager Mick McCarthy said: "He has been here, has now gone back and we will see what happens."Bagayoko, who has also played for Strasbourg, is out of contract at Nice in the summer.

Re: the lies on here about Charlie Austin.

Charlie is, for the last time, not moving anywhere this season.

He is sick of the rumours linking him with moves away from Swindon, and may even take action to stop them.

He is staying at the County Ground, like it or not, at least until May when he then may re-evaluate where he wants to be. He's in no rush to move, but yes he does want to be at a successful club - Swindon are building for the future off the field, and Charlie can see that. He knows that results have been poor and is determined to do his best for the club.

Oh, and from the horses mouth, Charlie said that Burnley is not the sort of place he'd wish to go to.

~~~
Halleluja somebody who is talking sense about Charlie Austin. Burnley is somewhere that nobody that has a brain would wish to go! !. Lets just hope all the deluded Burnley fans shut up about it now.(15)(14)
'yawn'
"and tottenham to sign ashley young for around 18 million with villa getting first dibs on keane"
People still believe Young's leaving Villa. Even after Redknapp says he won't go for him and Liverpool already have no chance. Will these kids ever stop? He's signing a new contract over the Summer. You Spurs fans are starting to get boring.
And for the rest of you. How many "big" transfers do you really expect in January? Usually 1-2 big moves happen and that's it. So you Arsenal fans or you Spurs fans think you're making multiple 10-30m moves for players of clubs just as big as you so their would be no point in leaving, stop.(16)(24)
