A £14 million deal has been agreed with St. Etienne for Bafetembi Gomis to join Liverpool after the Euros. Charles Itanje will leave as part of the deal. Crouch will sign for Portsmouth for £10.5 million. Gareth Barry will sign for £10 million and Scott Carson. There are other deals being worked on but will probably not all happen. A top class player will be bought, costing at least £20 million so be patient and as Steven Gerrard says'Keep your eyes on the yellow bar on Sky'.

  Celtic Rumours.

First of all as I have been saying all season, Klaas Jan Huntelaar has been the subject of much speculation over the last 18 months or so, even if you look on this site you will see everyone says "either him or such and such will be signed, one or the other" type of thing.

If you try and look at it from his point of view, speculation is absolutely zero to him. He looks at only concrete offers. Now I happen to know that there has been only three of those offered to Ajax – Celtic have been long term suitors and have let it be known that anytime he wants to talk business they will be at the ready. The other two offers have come from the Bundesliga (rumoured to be Bremen looking for Klasnic's replacement) and the other being from the Russian league (unknown to me). Now anyone who has any knowledge of KJ Huntelaars personality will know that he is a man of honour and is smart enough to know that he, if he so chooses, would be the man to fill the Kings boots, but will also be young enough to have his pick of European clubs after a few seasons at Parkhead. What this all means is that with the lack of any offers from the elite (they have had ample time to show firm interest) and should he wish to (not definite with the new team coming to Alax this Summer) by the time the Scottish Premier League season kicks off Huntelaar will be wearing the glorious horizontal stripes (that is hoops).

Lastly (and much more to the point.) David Marshall is being lined up to replace Arthur Boruc should an offer over £10 million sterling arrive on Mr Strachans desk over the Summer.

Linoleum – goshdarn that Abacus.

  Rafa has to sell to buy

Rafa's first choice players are:

Gareth Barry (15 million)

Andrea Dossena (8 million)

Rafael Van Der Vaart (12 million)

Diego Milito (8 million)

Aaron Ramsey (5 million + Anderson + Hamill on loan)

Maik Taylor (free)

Youngsters

Leaving will be:

Real Madrid will steal Alonso from under the noses of Juve after offering £18 million to Liverpool and a £90,000 wage to Alonso. Juve were offerinf £70,000

John Arne Riise (5 million)

Peter Crouch (10 million)

Scott Carson (6 million)

Jermaine Pennant (6 million)

Steve Finnan (2 million)

Danny Guthrie (2 million)

Antohny Le Tallec (free)

Harry Kewell (free)

Andrey Voronin (free)

Martin, Hobbs, Plessis will go out on loan

Rafa will be keeping his eye on Nemeth, Insua, Pacheco and Bruna as these are the players that Rafa feels will eventually get in the side.

Nemeth and Pacheco are the reason that Benitez will spend £8 million on a 29 year old (Milito) rather than £15 million on a 25 year old.

If DIC come in, most of these transfers will be done. They will however still give Benitez money to spend and Benitez will move for David Silva in a deal worth £14 million and Yossi Benayoun.

He will also look to sign anither experienced forward to replace Voronin who is willing to play back up to Torres and Milito

Nemeth will play back up to Torres and Milito– gradually being eased into the first team. He will not go out on loan. Benitez does not mind British players going out on loan but does not like the foreigners doing it, unless they are strong and powerful players

  Arsenal and Newcastle are tracking 19–year–old Swiss forward Eren Derdiyok Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is also considering a move for Paris St. Germain star Clement Chantome. Roma's Alberto Aquilani, also a target for Arsenal, has opened the door on a move to England by demanding showdown talks with the Serie A club.

  To the person who said Jussi Jaskelainen to Fullham, they have already confirmed the signing of Mark Schwarzer, Hodgson will not spend more money on his limited wage bill to sign another costly goalkeeper

Also do not expect Scott McDonald to leave Celtic just yet, he has been at a Premier League club before, (he started at Southampton) and is enjoying life in Glasgow. His father is a Celtic supporter and would have to be offered a large deal to leave.

Also do not be supprissed if a smaller Premier League team or Blackburn make a nominal bid for Sheff United's David Carney, performs well on international stages, good friends with Brett Emerton of Blackburn.

  Peterborough United are planning a raid on League One side Walsall once again, Posh are hoping to sign both Richard Taundry and Anthony Gerrard for £100 k and £350 k respectively.

  Livepool rumours.

Hyypia will not be leaving Liverpool as he has Just signed a one year extention, Rafa is trying to arrange a double swoop for Villa and Silva around £40 million for both. Looks like Alonso is leaving, only reason for Rafa is to free up funds and he is on quite high wages. Think twice on Rafinha

  celtic champions three in a row

Can I just say that all these McGeady for the off rumours are not true. Aiden has said over and over again that Celtic is where his heart is and that he may one day move but certainly not in the next three to four years. He loves Celtic and do not be surprised if he never leaves Celtic. Any offer to Celtic would need to be £20 million + and even then the club would need to be a top European team to make Aiden want to move.

Also, Boruc may leave but Celtic will get £13 million+ for him before he goes anywhere, and IMO Boruc is one the top goalkeepers on the planet and is as close to Peter Schmeicel as I have ever seen, so it will take mega money to buy him. And although I am a big fan I think, the benefits this money would bring to the team might just outweigh what Boruc brings, (excl the personality and comedy element of course)

Anyway, not sure who is coming in but I expect us to spend our largest amount since O'Neills first season, whether or not Boruc leaves. If anyone seen Dermot Desmonds interview at the league party in Dundee, he said he expects big strides to be taken in Europe next season, and as the man who controls the money at Celtic Park, he knows this will take a sizeable investment.

To the person who said 51 bla bla bla, would have been 52 bla bla bla only for the SFA? How exactly was this, was this because the season was extended only the once? One helping hand not enough? Or was this because you only one once away from home against a top six team all season? Or was this because the best team won the league?

4 in a row on it's way

  I am friends with Mark Reynolds cousin and Mark and family are die hard Celtic fans. (he used to go to parkhead as a boy) he may consider Rangers (his family will not be happy) but if Celtic come calling he will DEFINEATLY go there. 100 percent true.

?

  MON wants Anton Ferdinand, but does not want to pay more than £5 million as he has a tight budget and does not expect to be selling Barry to increase it. Having lost Mellberg, a RB is priority and Anton will be deplyed there and has the attributes, he's worth the £5 million anyway but adding in the fact he can cover centre back makes him a ver attractive proposition. Elsewhere Moyes has been seduced by the attractive Bullard, who's sexy style has Moyes excited. Finally Benitez and Ramos (who is the better coach imho) are battling it out for Bentley. Bentley has agreed terms with Liverpool in a tapping up already. Ramos is gettin rid of a lot of dead wood and wages off the Lanes bill, it's no wonder they can afford £17 million Wonder–kids. Ramos sees the wings now as his main weakness, as he does not believe Modric will cut it just yet and Lennon and Steed are not that good. Both have theyr uses but over a season they will be shattered. He wants either Bentley or Nasri, joined by either Santos or Toni Kroos. He wants Lennon and Taarabt to mainly come off the bench for impact roles this year and is teaching them how to play them effectively. He sees Taarabts future further up he pitch with a Persie style conversion into a forward. Toni Kroos valuation is set at higher than Toni Klose Ribery or Bastian.

  Just a couple of corrections:

Whoever said Ben Arfa has signed for PSG, no move has been done, he is still a Lyon player, but could well move to Marseille to replace Nasri, who seems to be Arsenal bound.

Oscar Ustari does not play for Independentie, he moved to Getafe in Spain last season. But that does not mean that he will not move again, as Getafe are mid–tabled.

And no one in the EPL is going to sign Amauri from Palermo, because he has already signed for Juve.

  As Zico could leave the Canaries and maybe become Manchester City boss.

Fenerbahce President Aziz Yildirim has chosen Tony Pulis to be the new man in charge at the Sukru Saracoglu.

Besides signing Emre the Canaries will soon complete deals to sign Nihat and Mamady Sidibe.

  Anyway. Gomis to be unveiled this week, and also Arda Turan, who is coming as part of the deal that takes the legendary Emre off to his homeland

1–0 Down. 4–1 Up.

  Rangers Transfer Rumours

ins

Rangers are lining up a bid for West Bromwich midfielder Jonathan Greening.

Kenny Miller could sign for Rangers this week in a £1.9 million deal – although Roma, Olympiacos and three Bundesliga clubs are all interested in the Scotland forward. HOPEFULLY HE DOESNT SIGN FOR RANGERS.

  When Gattuso was visiting Glasgow in december 2007 –i met him at Glasgow airport, he told me he was and always will be a Glasgow Rangers die hard– then without any interuptions pointed out to me that when Rangers season is finished in may –contact will be made between the two clubs –in his words –he said watch out I am coming back/he made it clear if Rangers do the asking he will be there

  Steven Fletcher will not be going to Celtic or Ranger as Hibernian have all ready agreed to sell him to Newcastle for £4.5 million.

  Alot of people have been saying rumours about Ins and Outs at Watford. Nasri– 12.5 mill

Ben Arfa– 13 mill

Anton Ferdinand– 6 mill

Yaya Toure – 8 mill

Frey– 13 mill

leaving:

Hleb– 16 mill

Flamini– Free

Lehman– Free

I have a box at Arsenal anf have got to know Rosicky as he's always injured.

These will happen, believe me. It's our year Arsenal fans.

Gooner man

  Let's clear up a few Norwich rumours.

1) To all the Premiership teams saying they will be signing Joe Lewis "as back up" the reason he left Norwich for Peterborough was to get first team football. It seems to have helped his England chances so he will not be taking a step back just yet.

2) We may well, as one fan said, make a bid for Evans at £500,000, Manchester City will laugh at us, he will probably come back on loan for a bit though.

30 Wages depending Sibierski will be the Dion replacement with Paterson (Scunthorpe). The other targets will be the Blackpool duo of Hoolahan and Gorkiss, no guarantees though.

Expect to see several loans again, hopefully with Evans/Gibbs/Bertrand all returning.

Canary_Yellow

  I have been told this morning that Crystal Palace FC manager Neil Warnock is about to put in an bid of £350,000 for young Wallsall defender Anthony Gerrard (cousin of Steven) in the next 7–10 days.

Crouch in for £8 – Yakubu out for £14, probably to Newcastle

Michael Owen is begging us for a move but Moyes does not fancy him at all.

some say that an English keeper is preference. hart being the favourite.

do not be surprised to see one or two of these guys on the move to Arsenal this Summer.

Noely

  Sensational news for Hearts fans. Steven Pressley will be announced as the new head coach in the next week or so. Despite the very public falling out two years ago 'Elvis' still has a lot af affection for the club and flew to Lithuania for discussions with owner Vladimir Romanov after Scotland's friendly in the Czech Republic on Friday. Pressley has stated that he feels he is not ready for the full responsibility of management yet so a new 'director of football' type figure will be appointed as well (only rumour I have heard on this is former Scotland boss Bertie Vogts). One of Pressley's first signings will be his best friend in football, Christian Dailly.

  Having already captured Philipp Degen Liverpool will be signing:

Andrea Dossena (8 million)

Gareth Barry (9 million + Carson)

Rafael Van Der Vaart (12 million)

Dani Aquino (8 million)

Aaron Ramsey (5 million + Anderson+ Hamill loan)

Marc Crosas (3 million)

Albert Jorquera (1 million)

He will let go of:

Xabi Alonso (16 million)

Steve Finnan (2 million)

John Arne Riise (5 million)

Jermaine Pennant (6 million)

Andrey Voronin (1 million)

Peter Crouch (10 million)

Danny Guthrie (2 million)

Charles Itjande (1 million)

With Mascherano and Lucas in Beijing Benitez will look to Barry, Ramsey and Gerrard in the middle in a 4–3–3 formation instead of a 4–2–3–1. Therefore Gerrard will have defensive duties but Ramsey will be able to push forward a little as well.

  thfc;

JOE HART= deal will go through after the England party return from international duty.

DAVID BENTLEY= as above.

DOS SANTOS= will go through, DOS SANTOS has spoken to JR and is keen to sign, ZIZINHO (dad) is very impressed with the offer and plans, and is eager for his son to sign.

FORWARDS; it will be one from (suprisingly) DAVID VILLA, MILITO, SANTA CRUZ and HUNTELAAR suprised with that one especially after his anti–LIVERPOOL comment.

regards to the left side of midfield again it will be one of in order CAPEL, SILVA and AFELLAY

HOWSON= sign within a fortnight.

RAMSEY= as above, wants to join his mates and is very impressed with the set up at WHL and SPURS LODGE,

city–square–mile–London

  Right first things first who ever put that Andrei Arshavin will be moving to Liverpool needs to sort out their facts as, he is about to be unveiled as an £8 million pound signing at Everton along with Joaquin for £11 million. Arsenal could sell Hleb to FC Barcelona for £8 million + Dos Santos. It is true however that David Bentley and Gareth Barry will sign for Liverpool for a combined fee of £20 million with Pennant going to Blackburn as part of the Bentley deal. Here are a few other deals that are 99 percent complete.

Arsenal: Nasri= 9 mill

Ben Arfa= 16 mill

Aston Villa: Baraja= 4 mill

Blackburn Rovers: Pennant/exchange deal

Torrejon= 6 mill

Corominas= 4.5 mill

Everton: Arshavin= 8 milion

Joaquin= 11 mill

Owen= £2 million + johnson

Liverpool: Barry= 16 mill

Bentley= £8 million + Pennant

Dossena= 8 mill

Rafinha= 9 mill

Kerlon= loan/view to £13 million switch

Manchester City: Yakubu is wanted but Everton want at least 24 million, rather than the 19.5 million quoted.

Newcastle: Deco= 7 mill

Johnson/Owen exchange

Downing= 9 mill

Hull: Campbell= 4 mill

  Davies to become new Leicester manager and sign Lee croft, Andy todd, Darren Moore, gower, colbeck and bywater.

Thracian.

  Birmingham and Sunderland are fighting for Man United's jonny evans on a loan, blues needing centre backs after conceding 10 goals in the last four games, David Weir is also linked with the Blues after Alex McLeish is trying to bring some expirence to the team since last season.

Michael mifsud is also linked but would probably go to a Premier League team.

kenny Miller was going to have talks with Mcleish but looks to have been re negotating with Rangers

Birmingham will try to hijack Kevin phillips with his goalscoring ability some top flight teams will probably be try to sign him.

  James Beattie is on his way to Nottingham Forest for £4. £25 million in the next week or so.
