I seem to remember a certain Wayne Rooney, (remember the name! ) who United spent £30M+ on, as a teenager with little first team, european or international experience. Rodwell is in the same class. The problem is that United do not have the spending power anymore so they can only offer player plus cash deals. In a couple of seasons the likelihood of United getting Rodwell will be slim as his value will rocket and they will be once again, priced out the market.
If he does go it will be to Chelsea or abroad, not United!

Steven Taylor has been placed on the transfer list not due to his wage demands but due to the fact Andy Carrol had scored a hat trick. yes that's right. remember when Carroll and Taylor had a training ground but up? This was due to taylor having an affair with Carrols Mrs. The two have been at odds for sometime and this had now come to a head.

I heard fom a very good source lose to Joe Ledley that he is regretting his decision to join Celtic. Swindon to hold a meeting on Tuesday morning, where it is believed that Danny Wilson's fate will be sealed.
There is talk that he could return to Hartlepool, or he could be given three games to save his Swindon career.
Lawrie Sanchez hasn't been approached for the Swindon job, but would be interested as he's looking for a new club to manage (I know Lawrie through work contacts) and I'm sure that Swindon would/ could meet his demands.
