Angel Di Maria will not be going to United. Chelsea and City are also interested but have yet to bid for the young lad. United offered £10m plus Nani for him and Benfica told United that Di Maria signed a new contract with Benfica 2 months ago which has a £40m buy out claus in it.
David Silva will be joining in the summer not in january.
United will be selling Ji Sung Park and Nani.
Rio Ferdinand will retire at the end of the reason through injury and Chiellini of Juventus will be signed despite Juventus saying he is not for sale. SAF will place a bid in for him that Juventus will not be able to turn down. SAF is a big admirer of Chiellini and he is the perfect replacement for Rio Ferdinand.
Real Madrid are chasing Nemanja Vidic but he won't be leaving. They are also chasing Wayne Rooney through the words of Cristiano Ronaldo but Rooney will be offered to stay at United and as things are at OT at the moment, Wazza is keen to stay at United and a contract announcement will be made in January.
Striker Dieumerci Mbokani of Standard Liege is set to sign for Stoke City for 7 Million in January.
Also Manucho from Real Valladolid is set for a loan move to the Potters.

Portsmouth FC are in serious trouble...
I work at the FA and on the agenda for next Monday morning is a joint meeting with FA and Premier League Officials at Wembley Stadium in order to discuss their immediate future.
The finances at Portsmouth are shrouded in mystery, to say the least, and various personnel from the club including CEO Peter Storrie, Sueliman al–Fahim (not currently at the club, but his role in the financial affairs is to be looked at) and Ali al–Faraj.
Auditors from Deloitte Touche are being called in by the FA to go through Portsmouth's finances 'with a fine tooth–comb' and charges (including jail terms) could be given if they cannot account for where the money has gone (if it was ever invested in the first place!)
Should the club go into administration, which is very likely, the club will be deducted 20 points – 10 for actually going into administration and a further 10 for their financial problems to date (such as twice not paying players on time).
KPMG would then be employed as administrators in the hope of finding a buyer. One has to be found and all debts cleared before they can start the 2010–11 season (most likely, in the Championship).
If a buyer is found, and pays off the debts or agrees to a refinancing deal (which would involve selling all/part of the land at Fratton Park) then the club will be given permission to play in the Championship. If not, Fratton Park will be sold to the Council for a small fee (as it would be categorised as a 'going concern') and Portsmouth would have to restart from the Conference, ground–sharing with Havant & Waterlooville. However, they could only do so if Chester went completely bust and applied to join the FAW (Football Association of Wales) and were given permission to play in the Principality Welsh Premiership, groundsharing with Airbus (as they would not be allowed to use The Deva Stadium).

Peterborough Transfers Jan:
Cooper to make a few big signings to try and save his team from relagation. All transfers to be mainly funded by the sale of Aaron Mclean to Coventry 3 million, with the manager getting rid of the fringe players in his squad (Martin, Rendall, Howe, Potter, Hatch, Williams, Torres) Hoolahan from norwich will be brought in as major signing (1.5 million) with Bennett making his move from Grimsby permanent for £500,000. Holroyd from cambridge will be brought in to replace mclean loan with a view to permanent in summer, bit like the rendall deal. Cooper will also try to solve his defensive problems with an offer to sol campbell on a pay as you play contract and will look to bring in howson from leeds to improve his midfield.
Numerous players are being linked with the posh as well as players already at posh being linked with moves away in jan, it will most certainly be a busy month for cooper.
After the World Cup in South Africa, Marcello Lippi will quit the Italian national team and will join Juventus. (Talks of Hiddink going to Juventus in January is only as an interim, like he did at Chelsea last season). Carlo Ancelotti will then leave Chelsea and take over as the coach of Italy and Chelsea will make a sensational turn to Jose Mourinho who declared he want's to be back in England and spoke of the love he's got at Chelsea. Atletico Madrid have sold Florent Sinama Pongolle to Sporting Lisbon, and will replace him with Salvio from Lanus in Argentina.
Sporting Lisbon are trying to agree a deal with Tottenham to loan Gareth Bale and Roman Pavlyuchenko until the end of the season. Sporting Lisbon will also try and sign Zoran Tosic from Manchester United. Expect Miguel Veloso or Joao Moutinho to finally join an English side. Miguel Veloso could be off to Chelsea, Tottenham, or Manchester United. Whilst, Moutinho could make a move to Everton.
Benfica have signed Alan Kardec from Vasco da Gama which paves the way for Keirrison to go back to Barcelona. Keirrison will then leave on loan again, this time it will be Liverpool. As Liverpool and Barcelona have agreed this as part of a first refusal on Javier Mascherano.
Chelsea will unfortunately sign no–one despite having money available, as Carlo Ancelotti is hoping the Italian job becomes available after the World Cup.

Gary Megson has been sacked, so all of his transfers won't happen. Expect To see Darren Ferguson named as new manager. After that happens expect George Boyd to sign for around 1.5million. Klasnic will Leave on Loan to Fulham with a view to a permanent Deal in the summer. Gary Cahill will leave on a pre–contract agreement to Manchester United, but will continue to play for Bolton until the summer.

Liverpool will sign Erik Husslep from Brann for around £2.5m Chelsea were rumoured to be interested in the striker also earlier in the year. Husslep can play at right midfield as well as a striker and provides a better goal threat than dirk kuyt.
I live near Sol Campbell and heard through a neighbour who is close to him that he maybe joining a top Prem club who have a defensive crisis. Don't need to be a genius to work out which club that is. Also, threw into the mix that there could also be some budget signings. Not sure he knows who they are but apparantly wasn't enamoured by the prospect. SAF did a good job in selling that one!

Fabregas will stay, no reason he would leave now to sit on the bench at Barca behind Xavi and Iniesta and leave Arsenal once the young Arsenal squad, his Arsenal squad, is finally coming together.

Lets start at the back. VDS has been told to stay in Holland until his wife gets better so apart from his injury, he'll be out for the good part of the season. Kuszczak has shown some decent performances so Fergie will keep the faith in him for the premiership and europe and use Foster for cup games and for rest of Kuszczak. Will buy a keeper as he doesn't see Foster as number 1, Kuszczak as a decent keeper but not one that will be relied on to win them games. Expect Neuer, Akinfeev and Frey to be looked at and one brought in.
A rumour went about concerning a defender in the top 4 failing a mystery drugs test and as United having most of their defenders out 'injured', i wouldn't be surprised that Rio, again, FORGOT that he shouldnt take drugs and hes the one that's really out due to an 'injury'. Remember this is a rumour so i don't think this is true. Left back is sorted for years at united with Evra always putting in a performance and Fabio going to be a decent back up. Remember when Evra started? He couldnt defend atall, going forward yes he was fantastic but they worked on him and he defends just as good as attacks. Right back we have Oshea, Brown and Rafael as Neville will hang up his boots or used very sparingly. Rafael will be looked to grab that spot over the next 2 years. In the centre, Rio has lost his place! Fergie once said not long ago that it was really hard to leave Evans out with his top performances and hes easily the better defender this year between him and Rio. Vidic has always been rumoured to be annoying him to get a move to spain or a sunnier climate but he knows he has it good at united and unless a top offer comes in, he'll be staying and itll be him and Evans in the middle with OShea and Brown as cover. With the injurys at the moment, will Fergie nip in to the market in January? the rumour is that Kjaer from Palermo is what hes looking at but with the injuries and players needing form, itll be a gamble incase Kjaer cannot perform to the english league. He'll look and prob bid for Cahill at Bolton as he has faced the likes of Defoe, Drogba and Torres so he knows the game and in years to come will perform at his very best as he'll get the guidance he needs at United. Can you see Evans and Cahill in the middle in 5 years?
In midfield there a too many box–to–box players with Fletcher, Carrick, Anderson who cannot stamp their name on a game. Fletcher has came up with some brilliant displays which have outshown Carrick and Anderson who havent played well at all this season. What were missing is a playmaker who can put give the front 2 what they need instead of Rooney and Berba dropping to low into midfield. Scholes is the best we have but he is used sparingly cause of his poor old age. Gibson has shown glimpses with his goals and some of his hold and passing play to become Scholes understudy. With Hargreaves coming back, Fergie has his ball winning midfielder so now he needs a midfielder who can collect the ball and make the killer passes. In 2010 Fergie will prob let go of Anderson and Carrick, as he knows that they are getting worse than better. Silva will see a bid come in along with a player swap as he sees him to be a vital piece in his squad, if that fails the Gourcoff will be 2nd choice but he only recently started with Bordeaux so probably get knocked back. Modric was always talked bout but do you think ol' Harry will sell when there doing so well??? On the wings, Fergie is sorted. Valencia, Obertan, Giggs, Tosic (after a loan out and back in summer), Park and few in the youth ranks. Silva, if bought (and I wish he will be) will be used in the middle as suggested for around £24–£27 million. Upfront Rooney will be the main man but who can he play along side with? Berbatov has not done what Fergie or the fans wanted. He banged goals in for Spurs on a regular period with his silky skills but at United he has only shown some, not many, touches and skills he is more than capable of doing! Waste of £32 million. If any team is willing to bid anywhere in the region of more than £15 mill then Fergie will accept and cut his looses! He will still go with MAcheda and Wellbeck as he sees these boys as first team players in 5 years but knows he needs a goal scorer now. Owen has the ability to come on and score a few or be relied on to show performaces of old but is not a partner to Rooney as they can't combine. Dzeko will arrive in summer for over £20 mill, fending off Chelsea and a few Italian clubs. Fergie will buy in Jan but wil buy and sell more in summer. The rumours of United in serious money troubles are way of the mark. See the new players and continued success in 2010!!

vincent tan has contacted ridsdale and has said that he is 'most unhappy' at the way the club is being run under dave jones.
tan has told ridsdale that unless jones is moved on the investment deal is off. tan has also reiterated that he can buy the club 'in a heartbeat', owing to his vast fortune.

Andrea Dossena is in advanced talks with a major Spanish club so will not be moving to Serie A. Edin Dzeko has reiterated that he will only move to AC Milan should he leave Wolfsburg. The agent of Bayern Muncih striker Luca Toni has confirmed he will join Roma on the 2nd of January 2010. Juve coach Ciro Ferrara appears headed for the door and Guus Hiddink will replace him.
