Apparently the O`Neill rumour of him quitting was due to a bust up with management after he had it confirmed that they had accepted a bid for Milner to move to the TOD in the Summer

Everton rumours :
no european football creating discontent in dressing room
yakubu, fellienne, pienar and arteta are being courted by spurs with rodwell waiting for the call from old trafford, this is being strengthened by moyes talking to celtic.looks like the fans will just have to make up some more rumours about certain liverpool players again for next seasons fun.nils satis optimun.

Are you a Liverpoo Fan? If not you definitely support Everton! I can forgive spelling the players names wrong but nils satis optimun?? Every Everton fan in the world knows it's NIL SATIS NISI OPTIMUM!! So make some more drivel up about your club signing someone they can't afford or won't anyway!

To all the people saying Rodwell will leave, he very well might, but not this summer, he's learning and developing and knows at Everton he'll get game time. If he does leave it will also be for a lot more than is being quoted on here! Not masses but at least 15–20 million, possibly more, but I'd expect it to be like the Rooney deal. (Everton received 8 million the summer he left, 8 Million the following summer and the other 12 Million was made up of add on's, for example, I heard Everton got 4 Million for United winning the Champions League! That's why so many of United's old boys are at Everton, Neville, Saha and Howard, Man U keep giving us players and taking it off the money they owe us for Rooney!)

All the players at Everton are Happy, they all know the start of the season hurt the team really badly and that's why there not up there challenging for 4th etc like they should be, all will be staying and hopefully Everton will get the 3 or 4 quality players they need to push for 4th with a bigger stronger squad.
In will come:
Beckford – free
Ledley – Free
Senderous – Free
Moutinho or Defour – 14–18 Million

Moyes will also stay, so stop the Celtic/United rumours now!
Onward Evertonians – NIL SATIS NISI OPTIMUM

Iv heard of some news that Arsenal tried to do in the last transfer window. Not much good to u now but i thought i might as well post it.
Arsenal tabled a 7 million bid for Rafeal Van Der Vaart of Real Madrid. Madrid were willing to accept the offer but before they did that wanted to talk to Arsenal about the possible signing of Cesc Fabregas. Wenger said no way as Cesc contract runs out in 2014 and he won't be sold and he expects to start talking about a new deal half way through next season. Thats just for the Arsenal fans who thought AW was doing nothing in January.
Iv heard Arsenal will try again for him late in the summer when Real Madrid have done all their buisness.Though due to his recent good form his price tag will have risen a bit. Also a deal for Eden Hazard is almost complete but he will be loaned back to Lille. Rosicky will not be sold this summer as he has just signed a new contract but will maybe be let go next Summer and with Arshavin being 30 by the end of next season Hazard will come in as the number 1 winger.

Arsenal out: fabianski 3m, senderos free, silvestre free, traore 4m, merida free, walcott 12m, eduardo loan, vela loan, mannone loan.

in: neuer 10m, jerome boateng 11m, senna 5m, hazard 9m, chamakh free. wellington silva and samuel galindo to be granted work permits, loan returns for j e–thomas, szczesny, nordtveit, lansbury and sunu.

team for next season: neuer, sagna/eboue, boateng/gallas, vermaelen, clichy, song, fabregas, diaby, nasri, arshavin/hazard, rvp/chamakh. subs: almunia, eboue/sagna, boateng/gallas, rosicky, senna, arshavin/hazard, rvp/chamakh, bendtner.

the following may well move on at the end of next season: almunia, djourou, gallas, denilson.

30 Mar 2010 16:25:50
Arsenal targets:
Goalkeeper:
Manuel Neuer: solid young reliable keeper, would improve on both fabianski and almunia.
Hugo Lloris: ditto above, but neuer seems more reliable.
Robert Green: vastly experienced, the right age for a keeper. westham may go down, would be cheaper than the above.
VERDICT: Neuer.
DEFENCE:
Gregory van der Wiel: gifted pacey fullback who can also play RCB. rave reviews from vermaelen. lacks a bit of height, so more suited for RB.
Phillipe Mexes: greatly experienced, physically imposing player out of contract at the end of next season, wants a new challenge. likes getting both ball and player.
Neven Subotic: tall, powerful defender, great potential, generating interest from other top clubs.
Jerome Boateng: tall, muscular and hungry player, can play across the back, good in the air and going forward.
Mamadou Sakho: a target for a while, the new gallas, left footer, a beast.
Cesar Azpilicueta: like vdW, but would cost more.
VERDICT: Boateng and van der Wiel.
Midfield:
Rafael van der Vaart: available for about £10m, great experience, silky on the ball.
Marcos Senna: ageing but plays in a position where this is not too much of an issue, would provide cover for Song. would be available for a bit cheaper.
Jeremy Toulalan: exactly the type of player we need, but will be pricey.
Moussa Sissoko: giant strides made in the last 2 years. bags of potential and in the french national side. very powerful, quick and good array of passing.
Blaise Matuidi: linked for a while. great potential, but recently signed new contract, so would not come cheap.
VERDICT: Senna
Attack:
Chamakh: guaranteed.
Edin Dzeko: admired by Wenger, a complete striker, but is therefore out of our budget.
Eden Hazard: skilful young winger, actually would love to play for us, but also for Madrid. a world beater of the future.
Carlton Cole: big tall strong holding striker, an eye for goal, workhorse, injury prone.
Loic Remy: not all that to be honest.
Lacina Traore: huge at 6'8, powerful, great in the air, good control, great left foot, would be quite cheap considering he plays for Cluj.
VERDICT: Chamakh and Hazard.

chamakh, hazard, senna, neuer, vdWiel and boateng would together cost about £45m. hazard would be loaned back to lille for a season to give rosicky another year.
fabianski walcott traore vela to leave for about £25m total, silvestre, senderos and merida for free, campbell to join coaching staff, new contract gallas.

squad:
neuer, almunia, szczesny
sagna, vdwiel, boateng, gallas, vermaelen, djourou, nordtveit, clichy, gibbs, botelho
song, senna, denilson, fabregas, diaby, ramsey, wilshere, galindo, wellington, lansbury
nasri, eboue, arshavin, rosicky/hazard,
RVP, chamakh, bendtner, simpson, sunu

30 Mar 2010 15:35:02
Rodwell has been earmarked as the next big signing for Arsenal. He has a clause in his contract that is activated in the summer that sets the price at 12m.Arsenal will go for him knowing that Man City and Utd can't outbid them.Plus Rodwell is keen to be a first choice and not on the bench.Wenger has told his agents he is a future captain.

30 Mar 2010 15:40:20
Got an ex–school mate who works at Man City, now works as a scout. Tells me city are after, Torres, Messi(not going to happen, will be like the Kaka debacle)and Gerrard.
Realistically the higher ups know this won't happen and Ribery is number one target with Vidic a surprise defensive target and also the Spurs wingers are being looked at.
Also heard Bolton to sign Carlo Nash from Everton as backup and Bury to sign an ex–Premier league player as player–coach

Thanks for reading!!

Just had unconfirmed reports that Martin O'Neill has just quit Aston Villa after falling out with Randy Lerner regarding next years transfer budget. This may pave the way for Liverpool to sack Rafa and get O'Neill in.

30 Mar 2010 14:55:44

30 Mar 2010 14:40:22
I have a feeling that Riera's possibe move to CSKA involves an agreement with them for Honda or Krasić. All year its been mentioned Riera as a make weight in any move for Mata Silva blah blah blah but now £6m is agreed and a move is on the cards I reckon we can see someone from CSKA at Anfield if the move happens.

Also I think Cole is a no (he'll follow money, wouldn't surprise me if he ended up at city).

Rafa will bring a target man in from Spain Llorente is my bet. Talk about Javi Martínez but i don't see lucas, masch, aqua, stevie going anywhere.. so why spend the cash there?

Honda/Krasić
Llorente/Hoarau
Bale/Belhadj
One big name signing got to keep the fans & legends happy plucks a name out of a hat Diego from Juve (cash + player deal)

Big toffee's rumours today coming out of Goodison. Moyes is set to swoop for Chamakh, Eden Hazard and Juste Abou from under the nose of Wenger and sign up Liverpool target Jovanovic as well. Good times ahead for the Blues and the layout could be as little as ten millio, with eight going on Hazard, two on Abou and the rest signing up for free. Top four next season for certain.

.//Malik in the know

I'd be very interested to know who or what your source is Malik, especially since Chamakh has today come out and confirmed that he will be joining Arsenal in the summer. He said in an interview that "I am concentrating on Bordeaux at the moment, I will concentrate on Arsenal in the summer when I play for them." It's also well known that Jovanovic has signed a deal with Liverpool.

Onto Arsenal rumours from a source that has always been reliable.

In: Chamakh (confirmed Free), Neuer (6m), Mexes (8m–10m he has fallen out with Roma), Vucinic (7m), Hazard (9.5m plus add ons), Van Der Wiel (6.5m). Hazard and VDW have been very highly recommended by Vermaelen who knows them from Belgium and Ajax respectively, and after his fantastic start Wenger is taking Vermaelen's views under consideration and has been impressed with what he and his scouts have seen of the two youngsters. Gallas will also sign a new contract

Out: Almunia (4m), Fabianski (5.5m), Silvestre (Free), Campbell (will move into a coaching role). Rosicky (7m – back to Germany, Wenger is disappointed with his play since his return and wants to replace him with Hazard), Sagna (10.5m AC Milan Wenger has been impressed with Eboue's improvement this season and wants to rotate Eboue with VDW at right back meaning cashing in on Sagna sadly). Eduardo (6m maybe to Villa). Vela (loan).

Net Spend – £4m–6m

Line up

Neuer

Eboue Mexes Vermaelen Clichy

Song

Cesc Diaby

RVP Chamakh Arshavin

Subs: Mannone, Szczezney, VDW, Gallas, Denilson, Ramsey, Nasri, Walcott, Gibbs, Merida, Wilshere, Bendtner, JET, Vucinic, Djourou.

I can certainly understand the Everton Fans coming out and having a go about Rodwell and his proposed move. If i was an Everton fan i would want him to stay but despite the new 5 year deal kenwright will find the money to tempting and Rodwell will move to OT. i would expect 15–20million will do it.
As for Torres and Gerrard. can't see them leaving this summer. they are not the type for jumping ship after a poor show but i will say if LFC continue to fail in the cups and league then they will get restless. Torres knows he's one of the best in the world and could be winning trophy after trophy so he may consider his future if LFC don't turn this around.
As for the rumours regarding Higuain, Silva and Cole to LFC. I hate to say it but this is fantasy stuff. There is no way Real Madrid would sell higuain and even if they do decide to cash in it will be for 25million+. If you watch La Liga you will know why. As for Silva i would let this one go..you gave it a go and he didn't come. I suspect Silva will go to Real or Barca as he simply won't leave spain same for Villa plus he is to old for the money being touted.
If joe ole doesn't sign a new contract with Chelsea (He will) i would be very very surprised if he doesn't end up at OT. Fergie loves him and he has publically said he would love to play for Man U. His wages would be a stumbling block for the other London Clubs.
In conclusion:

LFC – Jovanovic, Taiwo,
Chelsea – Maybe Hamsik
Man U (Sorry to say it but) – Rodwell, Di Maria, Joe Cole
Arsenal – Chamackh, possibly a GK, Green if a good WC

Steven Taylor set to leave Newcastle, following the bust–up between him and Carroll and the fact no action has been taken against the latter, Taylor is feeling betrayed and Eveerton could indeed be able to prise him to Goodison after a couple of years of trying. For a toon fan, I am disappointed because he is one of our best defenders.

However, with around £5 million from this transfer, plus a mooted £10million from Mike Ashley, that'll give us £15mil to spend in the Summer.

Expect two defenders, a midfielder, and maybe another striker if the right deal becomes available.

And I'm sure the likes of Leon Best could be moved on aswell!!

Rumours are building in Spain that Raul will be leaving Real Madrid on a free in the summer with his destination being either Liverpool or to the MLS, Supposedly he wants a 2 year contract from the Reds with the option of a 3rd, if he were to sign.If they won't give him the 2years he will go for the big wages in the MLS with Chivas Favourites to get him.

Rangers news people. jim mccoll and the rangers trust takeover really garthering speed ! it is rumourd that he wants to invest and seeing the fans have a say really apeals to this man. this is (FACT) as his family have supported rangers through generations. ellis still there but murray willing to stall as mccoll is a close friend and murray knows he would have the club at heart. as for celtic a lot of talk of mark hughes etc coming for talks this is way wide of the mark. as celtic don't have the money now and will stick with lennon. with only about £5m transfer budget. so sorry to celtic supporters out there but this is the reality of having a poor board and some terrible decisions managerial wise. either mr desmond. dr reid. or mr lawwal will have a bit of explaining to do as they are now in the red and all loan players going back to original clubs. thanks for reading as this is (FACT) the liverpool buisness man in the know.

Histon are to be investigated by the fraud squad over the source of the investment made by their new owner.

It is suspected that the money may be from proceeds of crime, and is yet another embarrassing blow for the Cambridgeshire club.

10 players are already quitting the club in the summer, and according to a senior player the only direction the club is going is back to the Eastern Counties.

30 Mar 2010 10:16:19
Delroy Facey (the Notts County player who was arrested over the weekend) has been told that he has no future at Meadow Lane and has had his contract torn up.

Facey will have to answer to Huddersfield magistrates and will either face a substantial fine or time in prison.

Facey may be offered a short–term deal with Harrogate or Bradford PA, but this depends on what action the CPS will take.

30 Mar 2010 09:26:48
Further to the "Reira and Dossena are definite sales, with Benayoun, Skrtle, and Babel possibly going the otherway. Babel is the least likely as he has recently found favor with Rafa. This can all change depending on the final EPL standings" post

Obviously, you meant Degen. Dossena's gone

As for babel's new found favour – this is necessity rather than choice.with attack needed, kuyt partners torres up front, so maxi goes right and babel comes in left. Its him or riera, and we know one of them's heading to moscow!

Dependent on who goes, revenue from summer player sales will be in the region of £18–20m (main outs riera, degen + skrtel) but could go up to £40m if kuyt, benayoun and babel all went as well. But this would create a problem (remember aurelio will leave on a bosman too). Even with all sales revenue plus £20–25m new budget, it will be hard to build in the squad depth that has been missing this season. If higuain were to come in for £25m that would rafa with tops £40m to replace 6 or 7 first team squad players and higuain or no higuain. Yes, Jovanovic comes in on a free but LFC lacks squad depth and has done for a little while, so a big clear out of relatively established players is less likely. Riera, degen, aurelio, skrtel and, if higuain comes in, kuyt are most likely outs.

Ins – left hand side is weak. Insua needs cover. If not Taiwo then Kolarov. Left wing – Turan, Mata and cole all possibles, but I've heard a cheeky bid for Modric maybe on the cards. He can also cover for gerrard – stevie only has a couple more seasons of topnotch footie left after this, so successor is being mooted.

CD – squad cover rather than big name plus promotion through the ranks – can't recall name

Little Pacheco also likely to get more pitch time.

Of course, clear out at Citeh and portsmouth fire sale may see opportunism come into play so lots still in play

Paul Simpson is set for a shock return move to Preston North End.

Simpson has fallen out with the fans, and with the emerging possibility of a new owner and board at New Meadow next season he is set to leave soon.

Simpson has made no secret of his anger at the team and fans after capitulating against Darlington on Saturday – something which has not sat well with the fans who look certain to see Shrewsbury miss out on the play–offs again.

Simpson has been sounded out by Trevor Hemmings, as he knows the club (he was previously a manager there) and is used to working with a budget.

Preston have financial problems, albeit not as serious as at Crystal Palace, Cardiff City and Southend United, but it is hoped that despite these limitations they can still attract new players for next season and maybe challenge for the play–offs.

Adam LeFondre, Tom Kennedy and Lee Hughes are names being linked with Preston, so it could be an interesting season for The Lillywhites in 2010–11.
