United will not be signing 8-10 players this January as some people seem to think - why would they risk upsetting the balance and morale of the team? Instead United will look at Right Backs, NOT LEFT BACKS, but a Leighton Baines type of player in the Right Back position would be perfect. United will make a move for Hargreaves in the summer giving him 6 months to regain his fitness. No other major signings this window.

I have heard from an extremely reliable source that by the summer manchester united will have raul and gattuso in their squad to strengthen for 07/ 08 season. Hargreaves will not come but luis nani is a possibility in jan along with benficas attacking right bsck, nelson.

Paris St Germain defender Mario Gyepes is set for a switch to the Premiership in the new year. Gyepes is a highly rated centre back but is looking to move to a more challenging league following several seasons in France. Fulham are interested, but Reading and Charlton Athletic are also watching the situation.

All this talk of Defoe or Villa coming to Liverpool is non-sense. There will be a striker coming in, but it will be a replacement for Crouch. Rafa likes that his 4 strikers are different, but hates that Crouch isn't a dominant big man, so will look to offload to the highest bidder, and will be making a surprising bid for John Carew of Lyon. Tho not prolific, Carew is strong on the ball, good in the air or on the ground, and most of all can dominate like a big man should, unlike Crouch.

To charles barcley who said he was a grounds man at goodison you must be a rumour cos no one works as a groundsman at with that name at either goodison, bellfield or the netherton academy site i do work as a groundsman about 3 weeks ago alan smith was shown around goodison but he has also been shown round other clubs aswell as he is keeping his options open. Time again to clear LFC rumours up; Gerrard, Alonso, Garcia, Gonzalez, Hyppia, Riise, Finnan, Crouch, and Fowler will NOT be leaving. - period. Henry, Villa, Torres, Huntelaar will NOT be coming in. Rafa is looking at signing a FW later, maybe summer. and has been keeping tabs on some of the younger names above as well as Klose, but is happy with his present attack. Crouch and Garcia have fantastic international (Champions League) records. LFC is always in the big leagues, so neither will go. Bellamy and Kujt will continue as the Premiership duo with each getting occasional internationals. G.O.D. is the perfect closer who can put in 20-25 minutes of intelligent play to end games and will stay to fill that role until he retires (just as it should be). Benitez is still looking to fill the side-mids. Just watch a game and you'll see that the only glaring weakness is the play on each wing. Riise is an option on the left with his monster power shot, but only if a solid LB can be found (Aurellio is a #2). Kewell is fantastic when he plays but his injuries are piling up, slowly making him older than his years. Expect continued interest in Simao Sabrosa, Alves, maybe Lennon, and SWP. Lennon is a whisper growing, but nothing material yet. SWP is highly unlikely because the only reason he was signed by Chelsea was to keep him from becoming a Red and so it's folly to think they'd sell him to LFC now. Alves is slowly being priced out of a reasonable transfer so is also unlikely. I still think Simao is on the way eventually. Pennant and Gonzo are #2's and were never supposed to be first team players except on a rotational basis and both will stay at LFC and continue as such. Rafa wants to play Gerrard in the CMF role, but he believes LFC is better (right now) with Alonso and Sissoko in the middle and Gerrard on the right. This will change as soon as the right can be sorted out and sissoko will take fewer starts. At that time LFC will be better with Alonso and Gerrard in the middle and the newcomer on the right. Rotating the 3 key central mids will keep them fresh. None are leaving. As everyone knows, Neill is coming, and Rafa is looking for a GK because of the unsteady play of Reina. His inability to communicate (not language, but football strategy) with his defense is causing he and his fellow players to lose confidence and that is snowballing. Some goalies are mentally fragile and Reina is showing to be just so. That's all for now. GO REDS!

Millwall f.c news

millwall to sign dave brammer tough tackling stoke city midfielder in the january transfer window.

Aston Villa will try their best to lure Darren Bent to the club. An offer of 8 million is expected. O'Neil has also set his sights on Shaun Wright-Phillips. O'Neil is also looking for more bargains. Lots of action for Villa.

Weder Bremen and Schalke are interested in Aston Villa striker Milan Baros and Martin O'Neil will prepare to sell him if Bremen offer a swap deal involving goal machine, Miroslav Klose.

Lets keep the rumours about Micah Richards on this planet. He will leave MCFC but never for MUFC. Even if United Bid £200m plus the ground and Fergies racehorses they would still turn it down. Truth is he will go to Chelsea. The clubs are working on the deal now but the fee is not the issue. City want SWP - he is reluctant to go back and City also want Geremi.

Manchester United may still resurrect a move for Carlos Tevez from West Ham in the summer. Ferguson's top 2 targets are Defoe and Torres and he is poised to sign one of these. If he can't land either of these he may opt to make a move on the Argentine striker at West Ham in the summer as he believes he can transform him into the type of player the hype suggested when he arrived in the Premiership.

LFC News.

The sale of peter crouch is imminent, paving the way for the signing of David Villa for £26 Million.

Zenden will be offloaded aswell as Finnan and Warnock. Micah Richards will be signed for £12 Million along with Simao (£10 Million) or Aaron Lennon (£15 Million).

Arsenal will sell Lehmann if they can pursaude Buffon to join in January. Otherwise, the situation will wait untill the summer due all the world class keepers being cup tied. Having sold Almunia, and released Lehmann and Poom, the targets are:

1st choice: Gordon, Given, Buffon, Cudichini, Wedenfield, Akinfeev.

2nd Choice: Foster, Carson.

With other transfer targets being an equal priority as this, expect up to £8million set aside for a new keeper.

Warnock, neil, baines, bale, bridge, oshea, brown, davies, upson, distin, ben haim, barton, melchiot, barnes, jarvis, crouch, bent, nugent, eastwood, doyle, young, knight, rosenior are just a few of the names of players ive heard that have been scouted by nufc recently. a lb and cf are roeders two priorities in january, a lb becuase the current two are crocks and will both leave either in january or the summer along with luque, bramble, carr and moore. as taylor and ramage have formed a decent ch pairing and huntington and edgar have arrived on the first team roeder is seriously considering not buying a ch in january unless he can get one of his top targets or one of the chs that the club has a long held an interest in woodgate, vasoski or andrade. roeder feels the adition of a top class lb will only help improve the pairing of ramage and taylor even more. ibe also heard that some loan signings will be made as roeder is reluctant to panic buy and get lumoped with another luque. don't rule out rossi making a surprise loan return for the second half of the seaoson and this time be allowed to play in the fa and uefa cups for nufc along with john o shea who may be allowed out on loan if fergie lands another lb like bale and cm like hargreaves in january.

i predict that from what ive heard the most likely arrvials at nufc in january will be. rossi loan extension, doyle permanent, oshea loan, vasoski permanent.

Mike Newell will be faced with a huge dillema in January when Fulham are set to offer £2.5 million for top goalscorer Rowan Vine. Carlos Edwards has already had many offers and Celtic look likely to win the chase.

Arsenal will strengthen the side in the Summer (not January) with Franck Ribery (£10m), Gareth Bale (£5m), Puerta and Jesus Navas (Both for £15m). Lehmann will leave to go to Stuttgart so either Craig Gordon or Gianluigi Buffon will replace him. Expect Aliadiere and Flamini to be sold, Baptista to leave and Reyes to be sold to fund the transfers of the above players mentioned. Alex Song will be released.
