Pompey Rumour
I know Linvoy Primus is good but he is not fast enough to be at Charlton AND attend training in South Africa all in the same morning. The Pompey squad are currently in Cape Town training at the Ajax Cape Town facilites and there are photos to prove that Linvoy is with them. Plus Harry wants Linvoy to become part of the backroom staff when he retires.
I read this site a lot and most of the rumours are nonsense. So for a change here is one that is totally true and will happen very soon. Terry Venables will be the new Mallorca manager and will happen very soon. TRUE
Sorry Celtic fans but GRAVESON will stay he gets 40 k a week and a loyality bonus worth £1 million at the end of the season. Who else would pay 40 k a week for him?

Now to the Big club in Glasgow

Davis should be signed after CEO Martin Bain said more money will be made available.

Loovens deal may go through after negotiations expect a money + player– probably Cousin.

These are the only two major signings the light blues will make, other players may be targeted if one of these deals fall through.

We Are The People
Newcastle United will sign Coloccini and Bassong in the coming days. No forwards will be signed this Summer because Keegan is going to keep faith in Owen, Martins and Viduka and Smith is getting one more season to prove he still has what it takes. Also Owen will sign a new deal in 2–3 weeks, this will be a two year extension. One more centre midfielder will be signed, Gokhan Inler is strongly linked but Arsenal and Bolton are also keeping tabs on the centre mid. Another centre midfielder in mind is Diaby of Arsenal, this is less likely than Inler. Also Given is going nowhere, along with Milner, Martins, Owen or Duff.
Summary of incoming transfers:
Coloccini (£11 million) Deportivo la Coruna
Bassong (£3 million) Metz
Inler (£5 million) Udinese or Diaby (£7 million) Arsenal
Summary of outgoing transfers:
Ameobi (£2.5 million) West Bromwich
N'Zogbia (£5 million) Arsenal – this is not part of a possible swoop for Diaby
Just a couple of points, to the so called journolist who stated that Keane's deal to liverpool was only £14 million. You do realise that as a public limited company Tottenham have to declaire all dealings over a certain limit to the LST? Pretending the price is more would be fraudulant. Think before you make stuff up.

Oh and to the Evertonians claiming they already have a deal for Benty, only yesterday Poyet was talking about how DB has been the best of all the forwards during preseason (not hard seeing as the other two have been sulking all Summer) and how he is looking forward to Benty pushing on. Doesn't sound like he's on his way does it?

Anyway on to rumours, Bently is pretty much done and should be announced this week, This will be closely followed by Arshavin and maybe Milito although this depends on Berbs. three other players are also in the frame (Capel is one) although there are a lot of ifs and buts at the moment and a long was to go. Magiuc Jaunde wants at least a defensive midfielder, defender and maybe another forwards. Rumours are that a big name will arrive from Spain that will raise more than a few eyebrows but no one in the club is saying who? Cheereo R Keane, hope the bin dippers bench is comfortable enough for you.

COYS
To the mug who said Barry cannot play Champions League after he has played Intertoto is wrong. Barry is still eligible after UEFA have changed the rules to allow this due to qualifiers etc. taking place before the transfer window ends.

Whether or not LFC actually get Barry is another question.
Newcastle will sign Fabricio Coloccini for £10 million, I think this maybe Euros but maybe not. They will try for Henry as a star signing, as he would like to be THE MAN in the team again but The Newcastle or FC Barcelona hmmm same old problem but Keegan will also see how serious Fulham are about signing Gomez, £15 million, and a possible hijack is on the cards even after a poor showing in the Euros he sees him as a possible Shearer. Oh and through The Beast in there for good meassure. Baptiste and Gomez is very possible. But still a paper thin squad probably the real reason that Barton is going to be given another chance.

ShoutE your friend to the stars and in the wrong room
Celtic FC will sign by next sat
maloney
tamas
Carlos
possibly another forward and cm
Boruc n mcgeady are going no where
Lets clear a few things up before the rumours/facts are said. Rangers do have money to spend. all you tattie pickers who think that we are in debt must have a short memory. for one who was it that nearly went bust bout 15years ago because they could not fill there ground and had no money what so ever (now all you get at the games are the glory hunters) and second do not forget sir David Murray stumped up most of the cash in the shares deal to almost break even and with the cash from the European run put the chosen ones back on an even keel and they do not want to fall in to the trap of being held to ransom by clubs who know they have plenty to spend. Rumour time no big signings will be heading to the pigery. As for Rangers they will buy players with the best part of there careers ahead of them. so expect the Cardiff boy loovens or berra from Hearts, but expect Webster to play a major role this season, Davis ( but this one will drag on as the Rangers do not want to pay over the odds) and as for the attacking mid who Rangers are desperately crying out for there are little rumours that a Stephen pearson could make a return to Scottish football ( probably not). on the Gattuso front I can say for a fact that SDM is still talking to Gattuso about the wages he's looking for, and trying to finance the move some way.
  + + + Arsenal Bulletin + + +

Has Werder Bremen player Amuary Biscoff moved to Afc? Gavin Hoyte 2 go out on loan as will Gibbs, Rodgers and Rui Fonte. It's been heard Arsene Wenger may use Arsenal youngster James Dunne this season.
Glasgow Rangers will complete a transfer which almost happened two years ago. Joey Barton will join on loan until January to get him away from the Premier League. He will be joined by Dietmar Hamann on a short contract to give cover for the injured Ibrox midfield.
Lee McCulloch will move to Stoke before the window shuts, and Daniel Cousin will join Hull for £1.5 million.
Just a reminder to the regular visitors to this site, I am the Liverpool fan that last week posted the message about Robbie Keane being would sign before Liverpool went to Spain to play Villareal. You may remember that the message started about the proposed 6–5 rule.

I was correct is saying that Robbie Keane signed for Liverpool on 19th July and he even stated in his press conference that he left Tottenham a few days ago. The fee is believed to be £16 million with add ons.

Just watch the news now for the other tranfers I wrote about, Liverpool have not finished buying or selling.
Nobody takes into consıderation ALANSO with Fenerbahce Istanbul, mATEJA kEZMAN goes to Paris St. Germain from Fenerbahçe so they have one extra seat for a foreign playeryer ( ın turkey seven players are permitetted in a squad), New coach Luis Aragones have very good relations with him. fenerbahçe offerred £12 million euro to Liverpool and 3, £5 million euro annual for Alanso. I think the deal will be done.
Bristol City and Middlesborough are in for Crewe Alexandra forward Nicky Maynard. Crewe are looking at £2.5 million for him and after signing Elding from Leeds last week now have cover if he goes.
Tottenham could capture arshavin and Bentley and KEEP Berbatov.
They will in all certainity now play a 4–4–1–1
Ramos is also looking for a solid centre back as both his first choice are injury–prone, Expect bids for highly–rated centre backs from la liga – Albiol is a name being touted.
Digard looks like a magnificent signing for Boro, expect one more midfield signing
I worry abou the state of our media when someone can say:

"I'm a sports journalist and want to hear from anyone who has inside club knowledge about any Premier League club
I'm currently working on a story about Robbie Keane, his transfer to Liverpool has mooted at £19 million + a possible £1.5 million in add–ons, this is what Daniel Levy wanted to be published, the actual price is believed to be £14 million + a possible £1 million. This would explain why Liverpool easily stumped up the cash for Keane and cannot get £18 million for Gareth Barry. "

There is a problem here. Either you are just full of it, or a paper actually employes a "sports journalist" who knows absolutely nothing about sport. You see, Tottehnam Hotspur are a PLC, they cannot go lying about fees and telling lies to the stock market, it is ILLEGAL. Therefore your "information" is completely wrong. I would suggest that you are a Liverpool fan who is just trying to feel better about the fact that you spent a great deal of money on a player. Get a grip, or quit your "job".
Rafa Benitez is still keen to sign Gareth Barry and a right sided winger but will have to sell in order to finance moves. Martin O'Neil is reconsidering having Steve Finnan as part of the deal, and Benitez rates him at £3 million, with Fulham prepared to pay the cash value for their former defender. Andriy Voronin will also make way with Hamburg preparing £2.5 million for the Ukraine international and Jermain Pennant looks set for a switch to Blackburn Rovers, with Paul Ince set to replace the Tottenham bound David Bentley with the former Birmingham winger. Benitez will manage to get £7 million. This makes around £12.5 million from the sales of Voronin, Pennant and Finnan, and Benitez has an additional £10 million from the owners which will leave just £5 million for a winger. He will consider selling Yossi Benayoun although is keen to keep a big squad similar to Chelsea's. James Milner's move could happen with Benitez wanting a loan deal with a view to an £8 million move next year.
= v1=
David Moyes will fill the void left upfront with the departure of Andrew Johnson by splashing out on a new frontman. Everton could be set for a surprise move for Eidur Gudjohnson although Darren Bent appears the favoured choice and Diego Milito remains a target. Moyes is also targetting Javier Saviola, and could officially bid this week for the transfer listed Argentine. He would be likely to be able to sign the 26 year old for just around £6 million meaning he would have enough funds to complete the signing of Joao Moutinho at around £16 million.
= v1=
West Bromwich Albion will go Dutch this Summer buying the impressive youngster Ibrahim Afellay for a fee of £5.5 million. They will also raid AZ Alkmaar for defender Hector Moreno, and DM Demy De Zeeuw. They will also complete the signing of Bougherra from Charlton, beating off competition from Real Betis and Sunderland. The club are also considering an audacious bid for Stuart Downing.
Sad to say to all the gooners out there (me being one of them), we will only be signing one or two more players, one being Amaury Bischoff, but other than that it's likely that there will not be any more players coming in, so with all these rumors of Barry, Alonso, Silva, Eto'o, Arshavin sorry peeps it are not going to happen. One thing is certain watch out fot the rise of Jack Wilshire.
Injury to WilFred Bouma will result in a forthcoming bid from Aston Villa for Reading's Nicky Shorey at around £5.5 million. Portsmouth are also keen about Shorey, only if they fail in their pursuit of Wayne Bridge.

  Celtic Rumours

Transfer lull will end progressively from this weekend until start of season. Boruc will be allowed to a major Champions League Club for big fee ( £ 10 m + ) CFC will cash in and return Davie Marshall who has come on at Norwich and will be available for a couple of million. Wages less than Boruc too. Naylor also to go in straight swap for Maloney. Maloney and agent have agreed a reduced wage for the wee chap. Funds will be made available for Cisse who although costly will come in at less than the club would have had to splash out for the likes of Doyle or S Hunt. Big wages but this will possible due to departure of Gravesen to S'Land and Bobo to Ipswich. Donati will also be allowed to go once Naka's injury is confirmed as short term.
Money will still be left for the steller signings ; 1) Carlos for a one season cameo. Expensive and could bea flop, but risk considered worth while as costs will be offset by increased exposure in S America etc. 2) Tamas who will join as soon as his agents get real about the wages.
Just rumours but who knows.
By the end of the week, Frazer Campbell will complete a season long loan deal from Man United to Stoke – Campbell is not guaranteed many games this season and has already met Tony Pulis before going to South Africa, after having the club sold to him by Ryan Shawcross, his ex team–mate. The move will see Jon Parkin pushed further down the pecking order at Stoke and released for a nominal fee to Leeds.
  Hearts

Expect AIK winger Kenny Pavey to join in the next week.
Rafa will now turn his attention back to Gareth Barry. The reason why he wanted Keane first is in order to lengthen the time of negotiations with Alonso to an un–named Spanish club believed to be Atletico. The fee is believed to be £15 million + first option on Sergio Aguero. Alonso + Rafa will discuss this transfer while in Spain for pre–season and after the Villarreal match. As soon as Rafa knows Alonso will be going, he will put £3 million towards the cash for Alonso to get Barry. If all this falls through, Rafa, like the Keane transfer, will push through a deal for Stewart Downing. £12 million should be enough. As soon as this is done, this will conclude Liverpool's tranfer activity coming into the club that is.
Arsenal Updates>>> Fabregas will not be leaving the Emirates, he loves the club and will probably be captain one day. Adebayor is willing to backtrack on his ridiculous wage demands because no one actually came in with a firm offer for him and therefore will be staying at least for the time being even though he told his team mates that he was definitely leaving and has effectively made hmself a bit of a laughing stock. No Arshavin or Alonso and Barry is too pricey but Arsene is definitely in the market for a centre midfielder and he has a few in mind although my source could not find out who. if I hear anymore will post some more. LFC>>One for the Liverpool fans from my cousins ex housemate that LFC fans can forget David Villa after signing of Robbie Keane and Barry will not be signed until end of next season if at all due to high price and because of the intertoto cup involvement exempting Barry from Champs league
  Hearts –
There has been rumours from tynecastle that manager Csaba Laszlo will be resigning. Due to lack of funds to attract players to the club, he is also not happy at the consitant interfering from owner romonov, If he does leave Jim Leishman will be appointed new manager by the start of the new season.
. You Heard It Hear first.
I have it on fact that a deal for Darren Bent has been secured by Everton, no news on fee but just know he has signed. But since I heard this, fat wyness has resigned so what will happen with remaining transfers? Hoping Moutinho deal can be tied up.

_Big AL_
  HMFC Signing

Hearts have signed Zoltan Balog subject to a medical. Csaba Laszlo knows all about the defenfer having coached him at Ferencvaros. It is hoped the experienced defender which Laszlo has been wanting to recruit will make his debut against Hull City at Tynecastle.
  Hearts Fc

Hearts are hoping to seal a deal for Derby's Stephen Pearson. Hearts hope to tie him up on a initial year long loan deal and they have already agreed a fee with the Championship club should they wish to keep Pearson on a longer term deal. I have been told by a source very close to Pearson, that Hearts have offered Pearson a five year deal on his current wages at Derby should he impress them. Pearson is now giving this serious consideration.
  HEART OF MIDLOTHIAN TRANSFER UPDATE.
An extremely reliable source at Hearts has told me Hearts have offered a one deal to Elvis Hammond, the player is currently mulling over the deal. Hearts have also agreed a one year long loan deal with Southampton for goalkeeper Bartosz Białkowski, Hearts will then have first option on whether they wish to make the deal permanant having already agreed a fee should he impress. Białkowski was close to joining when Burley was in charge.
Both players have already met Mindaugas Nikolicius, an official of Vladimir Romanov's UBIG bank to view the club's training base and academy.
Celtic news – expect deals for three players this week. 2 x loan and 1 x permament – Loans – Gareth Bales (Tottenham) until Jan. After his injuries Bale will find it hard to get into first 11 and Ramos is keen about this arrangement. Also, Marc Crosas (FC Barcelona) a midfielder with huge potential, FC Barcelona had him out at Lyon last season and are keen to see him develop, Celtic had scouts at Barcelona's games last week and discussions have started. Permament move for a wide player, Shaun Maloney is the name popping up. lets just see.
  Dickov has signed for Blackpool
  Pompey Rumours

Linvoy Primus was seen at the Charlton training ground yesterday. He has family locally and it is thought that Pardew has offered him a player coach role as part of the team following departure of Mark Robson. Also speculation that Chris Powell could now have a coaching role if his planned move to Bournemouth does not go through.
How the hell did Everton get an "eight–figure sum" for AJ? good on them for doing so anyway. apparently £12 million pound is about the figure and that should allow them to buy Diego Milito, who should be a far more consistent performer, Darren Bent's 4 goals for Tottenham will add another couple of million onto his price so perhaps that will not happen. moutinho looks likely and/or veloso. another defender and a winger would be good additions but with a fit Cahill and a class forward to join Yakubu, anything could happen. I think Arsenal are another couple of years away unless their defense can improve drastically. why Liverpool paid £20 million for Keane is beyond me, scorer of great goals does not score a great amount of goals. still his energy could be benficial. United look unlikely to sign berba, santa cruz looks more likely now, he has been a long time traget for SAF. Aguero would be good for them and for Rooney though. Chelsea look dormant for the moment but they will surely be changes and last but not least Sunderland. loving what roy's doing there, while he seems to have a fair bit of money he's using it smartly on players that seem to be attuned to hard work rather than flair.
Hull will make several more signings before the start of the season, according to a friend who works in the admin department they include:

Michael Brown
Anthony Gardener
Dean Whitehead
Thomas Sorenson
Paul Dickov
Darel Russel
Steve Howard
Dean Leacock
Sean Davis
David Healey
Kemy Agustien the Holland international is keen to link up with the Birmingham squad very soon. The deal is hoped to be concluded by next week.

Wigan have been reported to the Premier League as they tapped up several Birmingham staff that later moved to the JJB stadium. There has been animosity between the two clubs since Bruce stupidly left Birmingham.

Former Arsenal one timer Quincy Owusu– Abeyie could move from Spartak Moscow along with fellow team mate Kovac they will join the Midlander's for £4.5 million.

Birmingham have been monitoring the progress of Norwich centre back Jason Shackell with a view to making a move for the giant centre half.
Rafa is proving once again he is as schrude as the next wiley coyote;) He will now turn to Barry and expect Rafinha to arrive as well.

Ultimately he has only spent £10 million so far, and with Arbeloa (£6 million), Veronin (£3. 5) and Pennant (£6. 5) due to leave he will be about another £2 million in the + without a penny spent. Here's how:

In: Philipp Degen (free from Borussia Dortmund), Andrea Dossena (£6 million), Diego Cavalieri (£3 million), David Ngog (£1.5 million from PSG), Robbie Keane (£20.3 million from Tottenham).

Total spend: £30.8 million

Out: Harry Kewell (free to Galatasaray), John–Arne Riise (£4 million to Roma), Antony La Tallec (free to Le Mans), Paul Anderson (loan to Nottingham Forest), Peter Crouch (£11 million to Portsmouth), Danny Guthrie (£2.5 million to Newcastle), Scott Carson (£3. £25 million to West Bromwich), Adam Hammill (six–month loan to Blackpool).

Total earned: £20.75 million leaves a balance of £10 million spent but with the sales of Pennant, Veronin and Arbeloa he will have made £2 million after business concluded. So you see this is why he said that he does not depend on the sale of Alonso to buy Barry, however this would be ideall for Rara. It just depends on ONeil and his stubbornes.

To come: Barry, Rafinha otherwise Silva if Barry price not improved.

My ex–girlfriend works in the box office at NUfc and she has told me that Thierry Henry is a serious target for KK. typical Keegan optimism but unlikely I would think
  BLACKBURN ROVERS NEWS:

total paid 30.5 million

outs:
Bentley £18 million
mokoena £4 million
friedel £2.5 million
total in 24.5 million
Rovers for Europe.
I'm a sports journalist and want to hear from anyone who has inside club knowledge about any Premiership club
It is believed that Stoke City are looking to sign Chris Kirkland from Wigan for £4.7 million. In a shock move, Marton Fulop has rejected Stoke and manager Tony Pulis would like the former Liverpool keeper as number one, with Thomas Sorensen signing as number two.

Steve Simonsen will leave to join Cardiff. Another Stoke player going to the Welsh capital is Dominic Matteo who is being given a lifeline by Dave Jones.

Stoke's Danny Pugh will move to Burnley in the next week while the Potters will confim details for two more players– Michael Dawson from Tottenham and Armand Traore from Arsenal.

Stoke are also tracking Shamrock Rovers forward Tadhg Purcell and are optimistic of securing a loan deal for Monaco's teenage Nigerian midfielder Lukman Haruna
The biggest day in Walsall Football Club's pre–season will happen on Thursday and Friday as The Saddlers are hoping to secure the services of no less than five players. The club have done their best to keep all this quiet, but have they forgot the schools have now broken up for the six weeks holidays? As they arranged a meeting at their Essington based training camp to discuss contracts.

The League One outfit, who have already managed to secure the services of five players, in the shape of Jabo Ibehre, DWayne Mattis, Stephan Roberts, Michael Ricketts and Sofiane Zaabaub, whom all signed earlier this month on free transfers. In that same month, news broke out that a bid from The Saddlers was rejected by Kidderminster Harrriers for midfielder Russell Penn. It is believed that the League One side offered £100,000 for the midfielder but the offer did not match Kidderminster's asking price of £150,000.

The Saddlers have however this week gone back to Kidderminster with an improved £125,000 offer which has been accepted by the Conference National outfit; however there is one other movement in this agreement. Walsall have lost the services of youngster Troy Deeney for the season as he moves to Kidderminster on loan. Is this bad news however? The departure of Troy leaves Walsall another forward short, even with the signings Jabo Ibehre and Michael Ricketts.

This opens the door for manager Jimmy Mullen to offer a contract to Patrick Suffo who has been on trial at the Banks's Stadium and has impressed not only Jimmy Mullen but the fans as well, as the Cameroon international scored against Premier League outfit Aston Villa to add to his brace against Worcester City in the previous week.

Meanwhile, Mullen has already ruled out offering a contract to former Gillingham forward Georges Ba as he believes the Ivory Coast born forward lacks the quality around the front of goal. Elsewhere former trialist Antony Grant looks unlikely to sign as Southend are poised to pounce on the former Chelsea midfielder. However there may be better news midfielder Keegan Ayre and defender Chris Palmer who have both been offered one year deals.

The Saddlers are also looking at former Everton forward Nick Chadwick as an attempt to prove to defender Anthony Gerrard that the club is looking forward. The former Everton defender, Gerrard has been considering his future over the some after seeing talented team–mates Scott Dann and Daniel Fox join Championship outfit Coventry City and also represent England at Under–21 level. The Saddlers's manager has not however confirmed this but he did tell the Birmingham post: –
“By the Wolverhampton Wanderers game next Tuesday, we could have a few new faces in. There may be one or two casualties in terms of moving them on. ”$
Rangers will sign the following players before the next euro signing deadline:

Davis (Fulham)
Loovns (Cardif)
Kingston (Hearts)
Liverpool looking to bring at least another 3 or four players in. With Arbeloa leaving and Deggen out injured, and the possibility of Finnan going the other way in the Barry deal, rumours of Rafinha or Srna coming in for right back.
With Babel away to the olympics, rumours of Silva, Aguerra or Joaqain to cover left wing position with Alonso going the other way in exchange deal.
Barry deal depends on Alonso going. Other rumours for central midfield are Johnson, De la red, Mrtinez or Senna.
If Pennant is sold then Rodriguez, Marin or Menez in.
Just seen Graham Kavanagh at the KC Stadium, according to the guy at the ticket office he is there for a medical. Also said El Hadj Diof is due at the club this afternoon but not sure if I believe him, we will have to wait and see. But remember where you read it first people
For any Newcastle fans regarding Aden Mcgeady He signned a five year contract last week, Rino Gattuso is not going to Rangers, his father in law owns the Italian restaurnt at Eastwood toll in giffnock and he told me there was an enquiry from Rangers but they are around £50,000 a week short of rinos current wages, he also stated yes his daughter would like to return to Scotland but rino wants to spend a couple of seasons as a poss captain of Milan. It is clearly known Rangers have money problems so there will be no big money transfers, plenty of kenny Millers and Alan gows though. FANTASTIC, must be hard being a hun the now.

4 in a row here we go
Hibernian look poised to snap up Edinburgh Rivals Hearts star forward Callum Elliot from under the noses of Inverness Caledonian Thistle. Also in the Scottish capital for talks of a return to Easter Road is fans favourite Amadou Konte after being freed by Italian Serie C1 side Potenza.
West Bromwich Albion have made a surprise bid for Louis Saha with a bid in the region on £7 million been accepted.
Other transfers in the frame work include the signing of Meite from Bolton believed to have offered a new bid of £1.8 million which has been accepted
Also bougherra has accepted terms with the baggies and will complete his move within the coming days.
Avfc additions– Nicky shorey– 3.5 million, James milner 7.5 million, justin Hoyte 3.5 mill
Dave Nugent to sign on six month loan back to Preston
Celtic will not sign all these ludicris signing targets, Riquelme could not afford his wages. Owen lets not get ahead of ourselfs.
However Celtics are looking towards youth with Marc Crosas of FC Barcelona is a major target. A South American Wonderkid is being scouted Kerlon the name flouting around Celtic Park.
