If you a Barnsley fan then here are a few rumours. Carlos Edwards may be signing on loan. Also Aaron davies from forest, paddy kenny from sheff utd, Aaron Maclean from Peterborough and finally Andrew Surman from Southampton. These rumours have come from a source who is in the supporters club and works for dearne fm.
Liverpool Transfers in the summer from good source: Rafa wants to bring in a striker, looking set to sell off benayoun and pennant, and with £10m from owners, will have over £20m from Benayoun (£6) Pennant (£4m) Voronin (£2m), which is set to be spent on either Podolski or Aguero, whom we have a first option on as part of the Torres deal. Dossena is to be offloaded for £7m spent, with Johnson a firm target. This will push Carragher to the left while Aurelio is injured and allow the preferred partnership of Agger and Skrtel. In the summer, looking to offload the dead wood and with investment available from prize winnings in league and cups, will try to bring in a left back. Gerrard pushed onto the right and Keane playing in preferred position in behind Torres.
AC Milan already regretting the Beckham loan. The man had to be taken off the practice pitch every 15–20 minutes for a rest as his fitness was pathetic. Ancelotti was seen having very stern words with the physio and team doctor concerning the issue.

Gattusso has gone walk about – Man City rumours true???

Also can we stop the bashing of the SPL – every Scottish footie fan knows its crap – its not like your telling us something we don't already know and have been telling each other for years
Just been involved in a car crash in glasgow running into the back of craig bellamy's car. While exchanging details he informed me why he is in glasgow. He has just had his medical and will formally sign for the hoops on the 4th January.
Ricky sbragia wants to sign 1 winger and 2 defenders
the winger – aiden mcgeady 12 million from celtic and defenders – zat knight 3.5 million from aston villa, jonny evans on loan for the rest of the season from man u

SAFC 4 EVER
Arsene Wenger will do something he has never done by signing four players in the transfer window.

Wenger is looking for a new goalkeeper, centre back, defensive midfielder and an attacking midfielder. Wenger has £25 million so he has to sell as well.

Arsenal will buy– GK Shay Given £7m plus fabianski on loan now that arsenal are out of the league cup.

CB– Brede Hangeland. £8m plus djorou on loan as both toure and Gallas will stay at Arsenal for the tie being.

CDM– Yaya Toure. £8m. nearest type of midfielder to vieira and will convince kolo toure to stay.

CAM– Mikel Arteta.£10m plus Bendtner. Everton need a striker and money so this will convince David Moyes to sell Arteta.

Total £33m. Eboue will leave for £5m and Senderos will move permanently to Milan for £6m
Everton to sell Arteta to highest bidder then they will except a bid of 15mill for Lescott from Man City. Due to the ridiculous wages on offer he will leave. Everton will replace him with the up and coming mancienne for around 6mill, Artetas replacement could be one of the following, Riquelme, manuel fernandes or jermaine pennant. Everton will also look at bringing in claudio pizzaro if his current loan deal can be terminated.
To the person who said brown to pompey why would he leave to go to a team that will be in the championship shortly anyway to some real rumours from the east end the hoops will be making 1 signing and that will be a left back there will be no more ins but a few will go out including mcgeady to newcastle (small player to small club he won,t be missed either)
I work as a baggage handler in Manchester Airport, and i am MASSIVE city fan. We have just handelled Reno Gattusos Baggage, as he flew in on Man Citys private jet. I am so excited. . . . .

hate to be a party pooper but a private jet, isnt the point in one of those you are driven up to your jet in a car no one interferes with your stuff.

another reason could be he is going via manchester is to go to his wife's family in scotland.

rino gattuso is also out for the season, why sign an injured player?

anyway expect to see a young italian player on loan at Rangers coming in– why else play a 'glamour friendly' vs AC milan in mid season.

Daily to forrest to tighten their leaking defence.
Adam to join aswell.
Novo may leave after sickening chants, threatening himself and his family. Although his family are scottish they would be prepared to leave Glasgow.
With the smog of January in the air, I shall try to clear the haze slightly:
Arsenal: With Arsene's kitty limited, the Frenchmen's options are limited, so it looks like Brother Toure, Delph and Chiellini are suddenly out of the question. However, viable targets could present themselves in the form of Stephen Appiah and Oliver Dacourt. Senderos looks set to be snapped up by Carlo Ancelotti for an undisclosed fee. What is going on inside Adriano Galliani's head, I wonder? I suppose Phillipe got him some Swiss chocolate for Xmas.
Aston Villa: Martin O'neill will want to stay one step ahead of the venerable Arsene, and this will take some potent signings. Emile Heskey will favour a move to Villa Park, in a correctly rumoured 5miil deal. There should be no other major moves, unless, incredibly, Lerner listens to any bids for Gabriel Agbonlahor or Ashley Young.
Blackburn: Williams will show he is sorry of not appointing Big Sam originally by handing him a significant fistfull o' dollars this month, or more likely sterling, as Allardyce scours the council estates of Lancashire for his old Bolton squad. "Huggy–Bear" Diouf and "Tall" Ben Haim are, according to a source close to the club, already in discussions. Cmon, even I can dream.
Bolton: Megson is looking to go where no Bolton manager has been before, and sign a promising young player! However, he could be priced out of Standard Liege's Axel Witsel by the fact that they arent really keen on selling him. Oliver Dacourt is seeming likely (wince) despite his previous ordeal in the Premiership (wince). Kieran Richardson in unlikely, despite being controlled by former Bolton assistant Sbragia.
Chelsea: Drogba to hang around, I suspect. A move seems pretty pointless after all. But a striker should be signed, and that is looking like being one of two Brazillians, which is always nice. Kleber and Vagner Love are nice names too, I bet Abrahamovic will buy them bling too. Sheesh, could be pricey?
Everton: There are plenty of moaners saying Everton are skint. Seeing as the mob is usually correct, I'll go with that. It certainly explains the stadium delay. If Moyesey is lucky, and I mean LUCKY, Inter might just let him have Victor Obinna for a bit. Might see Man City bid 20mil for Dan Gosling. What?! It happened with Walcott!
Fulham: Looking to sign a striker, to compete with dormant AJ and BZ. With Hamuer Bouazza set to return, this seems pretty pointless to me, but nevertheless, Sylvan Ebanks–blake is among those being linked. Jimmy Bullard to switch one part of London for another with a move to Tottenham, with Jermaine Jenas possibly going the other way, with some money in a briefcase.
Hull City: One or two from Jermaine Pennant, Paul McShane, Marlon Harewood and Marlon King. My friend Hans in Switzerland says Young Boys have already agreed to let Kamil Zayatte stay in Hull. Poor bloke.
Liverpool: No–one. No money. Okay kidding, kidding, Rafa will have a. . lets say modest transfer budget, and may bid for Gareth Bale, Aaron Lennon and Glen Johnson. No foreigners will be signed, that seems to be the priority. In my opinion, Lennon is the most likely.
Man City: Out of the section of the planet linked with a switch to Eastlands, only about four players will move there this month, unless the Abu Dhabi group are thick as well as being boastful. Wayne Bridge deal is sorted, Roque to follow for the 18mil buy–out clause, plus a possible add–on, Benayoun will come in, if, and only if, Liverpool decide to take Elano (cough that sounds like "no") and an unknown goalkeeper, that could be Carlos Kameni, Shay Given or Edwin Van der Sar. The last one's a joke of course, but who knows, they DID buy the wrong Manchester club!
Man Utd: Aside from the Serbian whizz–kids, very little movement. Delph bid to be rejected. Aguero hustling to be disciplined. Gibson, Possebon, Manucho and Wellbeck loaned out.
Middlesbrough: Southgate had prioritised a central midfield player (about time too) and a centre forward (eh?). James Harper, Stephen Fletcher and Joe Ledley are rumoured. Mido to maybe switch to Wigan in a coup to lure an unwitting Amr Zaki into a permanant deal. Im not sure if he'll serve any other purpose, will he really replace Heskey?
Newcastle: Couldnt say for sure, targets change as often as Man City's. Micheal Owen? I think he'll stay.
Portsmouth: Have very little to deal with, and so don't expect too much action. Belhadj signing confirmed, and Lassana Diarra fee to be spent of debts. Lauren, Hermann Hrreidarson, Jermain Defoe and Niko Krancjar make up an uneasy departee list.
Stoke City: If Pulis remains manager, targets will include Sylvan Ebanks–blake and Jermaine Pennant. Demar Phillips and Leon Cort out, possibly along with Ryan Shotton. Could this be to make way for a big signing? Still, at least we know it won't be Joe Ledley.
Sunderland: Sbragia likes Matthew Taylor
Tottenham: Possible big exits to include Micheal Dawson, David Bentley and Roman Pavlychenko. No–one will sign Ledley King, it's like buying a corpse. Still, at least the magical Redknapp has some dough about; Jermain Defoe, Sol Campbell, Jimmy Bullard in. There's a big maybe over Shay Given. I think Arsenal, personally.
West Brom: No–one, no money. Robert Koren and Gianni Zuiverloon to leave hopefully, as they are quite good and don't deserve to be part of the chairman's evil parachute–payment plan. I told you all didnt I!! I should've said "watch this space" or something. .
West Ham: Also no money, but will be wholesale departures, it seems. Craig Bellamy, Matthew Upson and Lucas Neill look like the ones out the door first. Lucky there's a good academy at Upton Park. . wait a minute, im reminded of a certain yorkshire club who play in white who went through exactly the same thing. I must be going mad
Wigan: Some Olympians.
No moves of much significance in Scotland, Spain or Italy, Im afraid. Bah. Malcolm Shaffer
Frank Ribery was tipped with a move to man city but he has quoted his loyalty to bayern. Kaka has a meeting with city within the month but has said he is not leaving a club like AC to go to City
Just got myself together after reading the rearrangers rumours about improving the team when it is clear all and anyone has a price.

Celtic will cement 4–iar by march with Crespo and Stilic. Rearrangers will flaunt mythgregor and clubfoot, possibly anyone else with a dollar sign to keep afloat. Hot rumour is that Ally McCoist will take over in February with Judas Johnston as his side–kick.

Message to most EPL fans, your digs to th Scottish league is tiresome. As you are part of the most over–hyped league in the world, ask yourself how many games do you watch that do not involve your own team ?
  Wolves in:
Alan Gow from Rangers

Real Madrid will sign Ronaldo from Manchester United in the summer and Van der vaat will come to Manchester United.
Everton have no money. Loans are our only option, with Pazzini looking the most likely at the minute. Arteta doesn't want to go, and Everton don't need/want to sell him. The only way I can see Everton spending money this transfer window is if, just before the deadline we can't get any loans, and desperately need a striker. In which case Ebanks Blake from Wolves is who we would probably bid on. Though at least 6–8 million to get him, and I doubt Wolves would want to sell him.
Kevin McCabe is rapidly losing hope of a big payout from West Ham and has decided to concentrate his efforts on his overseas projects. He has instructed Blackwell to cut the squad and get rid of at least three big earners. Most likely to be sold are Beattie, Kenny, Kilgallon, Sharp and Montgomery. Naughton will be auctioned off to the highest bidder. Incoming replacements will be kids or loan players. Sheffield Utd is being made ready to sell at the end of the season with McCabe looking to Spain or Portugal for a replacement project. Grim times ahead in all parts of Sheffield :–(
Liam Lawrence from Stoke is going to Barnsley on Loan until the end of the season as he is in need of regaining full fitness.
Aaron Mclean Going to Oakwell in a £500.000 + Miguel Mostto deal.
Graham Cavanagh (Sunderland) coming on loan aswell as Carlos Edwards joining for £1.6m.
Jamie Cureton is joining from Norwich as he feels he is not wanted at Carrow Road and feels Barnsley are on the up in 2009. .(£250.000)

ONLY OUT!
Heinz Muller – Portsmouth £3.25m
'if arteta was to move on most likely to arsenal then rangers would get 15% of this transfer due to a sell on clause that has been in his contract since he left the gers'
Are you mad? Arteta did not sign for Everton from Rangers, he first moved to Real Sociedad. If Rangers did have a 15% sell on clause they would have recieved this money from the transfer fee Everton paid to Sociedad (£2 – £2.5 depending on who you believe). Rangers will not recieve a penny if Arteta leaves as any clauses they had were agreed with Real S. and have nothing to do with Everton.

On to the rumours:
Everton will be linked with every striker in the world over the next four weeks but will end up signing none of them, if results had been going poorly and performances bad we probably would have made a loan signing or two but with the team playing its best football so far this season there would be no point in making any moves. Mr Moyes is one of the most catious around in the transfer market around so I would be verys surprised if there was any movement in or out.

Adriano – Man City £10 – £12 mil
K Toure – Man City £17.5 – £20 mil
S Parker – Man City £10
Jo – anyone willing to take him on loan, Dutch team maybe?
S Given – Tottenham £8 mil
C Bellamy – Tottenham £11 mil
K Naughton – Tottenham £4 – £6 mil
H Gomes – PSV £2.99
D Nugent – Stoke £3 mil
E Heskey – Liverpool £3 – £5 mil
J Pennant – Hull £4 mil

Not posted on here for a while but nice to see the usual rubbish being posted. Well apart from =V1= who has posted decent rumours over the last few years.

Anyway, now that Man U have secured the services of Tosic, Ferguson is looking too loan out Nani.

Fergie has lost patience with Nani and will look to send him out on loan too Everton. Fergie has offered Moyes the option of taking Nani on loan as they are very good friends. Moyes would love the chance to utilise the services of Nani and offer him more regular 1st team football, fergie is looking to offload Nani and the end of the season and will hope he impresses whilst on loan so Fergie can recoup £17m paid for him.

I have also heard Hargreaves will be sold once his injury problems have been resolved, once again I have heard Everton would have 1st refusal.

All The Best.
Diego Buononnate to Liverpool around 8 million
Lorenzo De Silvestri to Liverpool 7 million
Marcelo to Liverpool 8 million
John Fleck to Liverpool 2–3 million
Santa Cruz spotted at carrington training ground with big Sam talking to Ben Haim. Total price 10 million with Ben Haim finally leaving city, good ridance. . .
Celtic will sign Semir Stilic for 2.5m and Hernan Crespo on loan from Inter Milan. Interest in Steven Fletcher of Hibs has finished after reports of Derek Riordan telling Fletcher it would be a bad move. Rangers will sign Andy Driver and Lee Wilkie and as for Gatusso. no chance.
Valencia have admitted that they would be prepared to part with David Villa and he would love to go to Liverpool with all the spanish players already at the club. David Silva also wants to join the reds at the end of the season. Liverpool full–back Robbie Threlfall is poised to sign for Stockport on–loan.
Stoke City have sealed the signing of Leeds youngster Fabian Delph,£2 million and Richard Cresswell in part ex.

A quick point first of all, Jack Wilshere WILL be leaving Arsenal but not to West Ham, he will sign for Villa instead as they will offer him first team football and have a good record of developing young English talent. Because he is 16 he has not signed a pro contract, Villa will have to pay compensation but Arsenal cannot stop him leaving.

Some other Villa news; Marlon Harewood will join either Stoke, West Brom or Wigan if Heskey leaves. John Carew could also be on his way, possibly to Everton or Spurs. MoN's targets for January include Kevin Doyle, Michael Owen, Jack Wilshere and Michael Kightly.
Andrew Driver to Burnley is on the cards, Eagles is going nowhere, but McCann will go to premiership outfit, Stoke looking like favourites, Gow set for talks at the Turf.
I work at the Lowry hotel in Manchester and Gattuso has just checked in, over heard him talking to his agent about meeting Mr. Ferguson this afternoon. Ive read a few posts on here from bluenoses claiming he has arrived at the airport to talk to city, sorry to dissapoint you guys but you are only half right!
Rangers outs hemdani = free. Boyd. = bottom six prem team. Adam = swap for dorman. Novo = wherever murray tells him to go. Stadium. = lloyds tsb lease back. Rangers ins. Dorman shiels and barr
To all those claiming Gattusso is moving to Man City or Rangers in January: He is injured for at least another 5 months. I doubt he'll be going anywhere.
Celtic to sign unknown foreign youngsters
Rangers to sign SPL based player as well as a shock swoop for Leeds United's Jermaine Beckford
"Some of the porkies on here are great, my fave so far is Rafa telling the Doctor who did his op all his transfer plans. .priceless."

I couldn't agree more.

The best was the Chinese chippy owner near Goodison who kept saying he was famous and well respected by all around Everton, quoting Leon Osman as a regular 'large sausage and chips man'. I've been going to Goodison for 35 years and I've never heard of him.

So a few comments on Everton.

Michael Owen in – Father played for the club and I'm sure he would welcome the opportunity to be close to his home near Mold. However, he is injury prone and we have enough risk in that area with Saha. 4 out of 10 chance

Mikel Arteta to go – Highly likely, as we need a striker and compromising a player in midfield to fund this makes good sense. He's loved by blues fans, but doesn't score that often. 8 out of 10 chance

Vagna Love in – A maybe, and scoring well in Russia, so a possibility. 7 out of 10 chance

Leighton Baines out – Again quite likely and has been seen at Newcastle's ground. A part ex is the only way Everton could afford Owen, as we could not (or would not) find the £6 mill plus Owens wages. 7 out of 10 chance

Joleon Lescott out – Maybe Joleon's time is up at Everton. Although he's improved recently, he had some shockers earlier in the season. Again, the sale would fuel the funds for that much needed striker with Valente slotting in at left back. 8 out of 10 chance

Summary – Everton are most likely to bring one or two bargains up fro the Championship along with one main established striker (which will soak up the money in from sale of Lescott or Arteta)

Here we are again, in the transfer window, with a manager who has us again on the brink of potential Champion's league football and a board with hardly any money to support him.
I just heard a rumour that my team, Bristol City have signed Peter Styvar from a Slovakian side! I have been on Sky Sports.com and they have confirmed it. But on my local teletext there is nothing confirming it. We don't need another striker. We got players like, Steve Brooker, Lee Trundle, John Akinde, Stern John, Nicky Maynard and Dele Adebola. Why do we need another striker. We need to concentrate on the midfield
Arsenal will sell Gallas 2 barcelona, keeping up their feeder club record
Arsenal will bid £2m for highly rated Barnsley yongster Reuben Noble–Lazarus. Wenger is said to be a keen to add him to the clubs impressive youth setup. Arsenal Scouts have been seen at recent Barnsly Academy games and have returned with glowing reports of the powerful youngster. Barnsley will be keen to hold on to their young starlet who became the football leagues youngest ever player when coming on as a substitute in a recent game against Ipswich. Although Arsenal may not get it all their own way as both Aston Villa & Man City, along with an un–named Spanish club are keeping close tabs on the situation.
  New notts.forest manager billy davies and jim magilton (ipswich manager) are both interested in burnley midfielder alan mahon. owen coyle has the following players on his wish list;
bradley orr – bristol city – £150k – RB
darren mccormack – hibernian – £200k – CB
jobi mcannuf – watford – £1.1m – AMF/W
sadly chris mccann will be joining stoke for £2m
