Should ribery be signed i doubt it would be for 18mill, lets face it. wenger would not do somethin so stupid! if he were signed it would be around the 12mill mark. however i believe we have a better chance in signing robinho(winger/striker)who i think is the better player. reyes+cash for bap+rob. And i will state agen - abidal will NOT be signed as he is no where near worth the askin price his team wants. Clichy will be LB and a.traore will be intoduced in the first team this season or next. watch him in the CC along with some others like merida and walcott. I agree that we are intereste in torres, but who wouldn't be? if wenger really wants him, he will bid plus player - but i doubt a bid will be made as he rates both bendtner+lupoli very highly. buffon will also be bid for, but if he decides to stay in italy expect bid for ustari.

Little Walsall want Leon Clarke in return tho.
Dunno much about them, but Ishmel plays for England u19s apparently, he is a left winger, Wright is a right winger.

Liverpool are the brink of a deal for Nabil El Zhar. A 18 year old whiz kid. He was one of the greatest youngsters in the Under 18 World Championships. He and Lionel Messi where the 2 stars. Benitez wants El Zhar is one of worlds best talents. The tricky wide man/ striker could be a star of the future.What joker said united wer getting rid of Smith and O'Shea! Fergie see's O'Shea as a battler in midfield (hence dropping Carrick for the Arsenal game) and he's versatile. Smith is due to begin in a forward role again, which we all know he can shine in. man utd to sign owen hargreaves as talks with bayern munich have progressed well over the last week. a deal worth £15million has been agreed.
arsenal selling ljungberg while they can still get some money for him, this is a clear statement that ribery will be joining.
middlesborough in the market for a goalscorer, names that have been mentioned are, henri camara, darren bent, james beattie and barcalona's maxi lopez.
that's all folks xxArsenal will make a big splash or two in the transfer market in Jan to mark Wengers 10 years in charge. He will be given the money he asks for by the AFC board and will do the following:
Wenger will look to take Ribery and Buffon to the Emirates. If AW feels he is not getting a reasonable price for Ribery then he will move for Camoranesi (will not get both). Wenger will also acess Julio Baptista's fitness/performances by Jan and if he is doing well then a deal will be struck. If not he will be shipped back and Wenger will ask for either Ramos + £ or a straight swap for Robinho (which looks more likely). He will then look to sign some young prospects which are Anderson, Ustari and Bale.
Wenger will let go of Ljungberg as he is getting on in age but will NOT get rid of Adebayor as he is still seen to have a place at the Emirates. If AW signs Buffon then Lehmann will move on, as will Almunia.

He would cost more than Fernando Torres; he scores more goals and plays for a bigger club. 2) Vicente is not for sale either, but if he were, he would cost at least 10 million pounds and would only go to a Champions League contending club. 3) Valencia have been linked with Carlos Tevez, but there are a couple issues - a) FIFA will not allow him to change countries twice in one year. b) Valencia will not spend more than 16 million euro on him, much less the 16 million pounds reported by some on this site. If he costs that much, he will have to go somewhere else.
