Use our rumours form to send us football transfer rumours.

Please can we have a modicum of sense brought into the forthcoming transfer speculation. Nobody, not even the players, actually knows what will happen and there are so many other factors to take into account, I've decided to take a back seat, relax and make these simple assumptions:

==== TRANSFER ASSUMPTIONS ================

If any player is valued at over £70m then
I will assume Man City will be linked with him
Endif

If any player is valued at over £50m then
I will assume Man City and Chelsea will be linked with him
Endif

If Ronaldo is sold and any player is valued at over £30m then
I will assume Man Utd, Man City and Chelsea will be linked with him
Endif

If Ronaldo is not sold and any player is valued at over £30m then
I assume just Man City and Chelsea will be linked with him
Endif

If any player is valued at over £20m then
Man Utd, Man City, Liverpool and Chelsea will be linked with him
Endif

If any player is valued at over £12m then
Man Utd, Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Sunderland and Arsenal will be linked with him
Endif

David Villa (for £2.50) cos he's a fan, Silva (for a Mars Bar) cos he likes Mars Bars and he's a fan, Aguerro (for a modest £2.00) cos he's a real fan, Gareth Barry from Man City for a reduced £6m spread over 12 seasons cos he's had second thoughts and he's not actually interested in the money and 227 other Spanish players, alive or dead, cos they're all fans or were fans, will be linked with Liverpool.

If any player is valued at less than £2.5m then
Bolton, Wigan, Birmingham, Wolves, Fulham, Hull, Blackburn, Portsmouth and Stoke will be linked with him
Endif

If any Englishman is mentioned then
Aston Villa will be linked with him
Endif

If any Frenchman is mentioned then
Arsenal will be linked with him
Endif

If any Championship players are mentioned then
West Ham, Wolves and Everton will be linked with them
Endif

Owen will be linked with Everton and Liverpool, will he? won't he?

Just heard from a mate close to Utd that Tevez will be having a medical at anfield on monday @2pm if he agrees personel terms
   POMPEY NEWS

Following our new takeover Al–Fahim WILL be wanting portsmouth to become a top flight club, with a top flight manager! Al Fahim will not be bringing in sven as manager because of his history and lust for cash. He would want someone who loves the club and the fans and would prove to be the best choice, theres only one, HARRY REDKNAPP, im sure he would consider him bringing him back on a 3rd spell at pompey.

The new stadium will be on the way as a 50,000 seater!! that will really get the PLAY UP POMPEY! going louder.

Obviously for a top flight club you need top flight players, we already have a few i believe. . Crouch, Kranjcar, Belhadj, G. Johnson and James. But we need to bulk up our midfield and a striker to partner Crouch. Also a new keeper as James is too old. .

Pompey Ins:

M. Fernandes £10,000,000
L.Diarra £18,000,000
Shaun Wright–Phillips £9,000,000
Nani £11,000,000
Beckham (Loan)
M. Richards £6,000,000
Hart or Green (James replacment)
Henry £19,000,000
J.cole £9,000,000
J.Lescott £9,000,000

Pompey Outs:

Davis ,Bolton, £2,500,000
Hughes ,Woves, £1,000,000
Diop ,Fulham, £2,000,000
Hreidarsson ,Rangers, £1,500,000
Pamarot ,Newcastle, £500,000
D Traore ,Birmingham, £2,000,000

I don't think GJ will go, he already loves pompey what will he gain from going to liverpool, NOTHING!, just the fact hes at a bigger club and maybe more money, Pomepy are on the up and im sure he would want to be a part of it.
Steve Bruce will bid for Benjani from City and partner him with Jones. A bid might also be made for Gudjohnsen from barca.
I don't believe Ancelotti will make wholesale changes at Chelsea, bu 3 o four big names to come and go:

Squad 09/10

GK – P.Cech, C.Cudicini(Free), R.Taylor
FB – A.Cole, J.Bosingwa, J.Belletti, M.Mancienne
CB – Terry, Alex, Kalahdze(£8m), Ivanovic
CM – Lampard, Essien, Deco, Mikel, Ballack
Wings – Malouda, Ribery (£23.5m), J.Cole
FW – Drogba, Anelka, Pato (£27m), Shevchenko (Return)

Summary

In – Shevchenko (Return)
– Cudicini (Mutual Agreement)
– Kalahdze (£8m from Milan)
– Ribery (£23.5m from Bayern)
– Pato (£27m from Milan)

Out – Ferreira and Carvalho (£20m to R.Madrid)
– Pizarro (£6m to Wolfsburg)
– Hilario (Back to Portugal)
– Di Santo (Loan to Milan)
– Sinclair (Loan to Hull)
Blaise Matuidi to sign for Arsenal– £7m + add ons linked to appearances and international caps. Total fee could be £9.5m. Signing will be announced next Wednesday (10 June).Cracking player but is it the signing to appease the 'big name' demands from some fans?
Ok, I understand people wanting to put out their dream teams and wishlists. It would be fun to see Kaka, Pato and Villa playing for Chelsea or Ribery, Benzema and Gourcuff playing for Man U. It's nice to think about too.

Truth is, none of the big four will make more than two–three big signings with maximum of one deal over £20 million per team. Arsenal won't breach £20 mil. Let's focus on player, not clubs, here are some people who WILL be moving and some rough prictags:

Lescott (Man City or Arsenal) approx. £12 mil
Eto'o (Man City or Chelsea) approx. £20 mil [one–year left on contract, only a bidding war making the price this high, Barca will not forgo this payoff to have him for one more season]
Carvalho (Man City or Inter) approx. £10 mil
Villa (Barca) £30 mil [not a EPL rumour but it is an impossibility that he will move there, so relevant]
BRUCE THE GOOSE
  BIG NEWS FROM HILLSBOURGH

Wednesday Chairman Lee Strafford is looking for investment in USA and will achieve between 20–30 million investment by November/December. Therefore Brian Laws will make only 3 more signings in the summer these will be

Darren Potter FREE
Ryan France FREE
Freddie Sears LOAN

However in January Laws Will have money to spend and he will bid for.

Richie Wellens (Doncaster) £1,000,000
Freddie Eastwood (Coventry) £1,500,000
Darren Pratley (Swansea) £500,000
Stephen Naismith (Rangers) LOAN
Andy Keogh (Wolves) LOAN
Elliot Ward (Coventry) £750,000
Sean St Ledger (Preston) £2,000,000
Ross Wallace (Preston) £1,750,000

UP THE OWLS
Where is all the newcastle utd rumours for the upcoming season. I aint seen not one transfer rumour for newcastle for a while, why is that newcastle fans ? I thought they were supposed to be the most loyal and passionate fans in the country, LOL. . . .yeah right!!! I remember looking at this site at this very same time last year and the boards were full of newcastle rumours on how they are spending MILLIONS and the premiership had better watch out. Rumours like Arteta, cahill and yakubu for 30M from Everton as they would prefer european football guaranteed from a big premiership club. The Toon certainly were dreaming for sure. Too much brown ale a possibility.

The toon are a bigger club than everton, spurs and villa i heard people scream. Up there with the biggest clubs in england. NO, NO, NO toon fans. . . . . but i will admit this, your club is most definetly the biggest club in the COCA COLA CHAMPIONSHIP !!! come on the toon.

now for some rumours. Word on the streets of liverpool this morning have obafemi martins signing for everton for 10M before July 1st. He needs a much bigger club to play for as he may get overlooked for nigeria whilst playing in the championship. Michael owen is a non starter as the toffees won't pay the huge wage demands from a player clearly past his best. other possible signings are

Moutinho 12M
huddlestone 5M
I also heard that everton could land Juninho on a 12 month contract after being released by Lyon.
could also go back for Hunt from reading 5–6M.

News from the tyne have the toon linked with chris eagles from burnley for 500,000 but this could be a problem as the player won't want to drop down a league. Also heard Lee Trundle a possibility to spear head that strike force. Toon also looking at bringing bramble back from wigan as they only want the best, loyal and passionate of people for next season.
Some names that have been linked with burnley since our arrival to the premiership are total rubbish (m.ball, n.ellington) they are nowhere near the type of players that owen coyle wants to bring in. coyle wants to keep the current team together as he doesn't want to break the current team spirit at the club and in will come sean st ledger (preston) rhys williams (m`boro) russell anderson (sunderland) darren o`dea (celtic) andrew driver (hearts) or steven hunt (reading) and either frazier campbell (man utd) or kevin doyle (reading) the only outs apart from those already released are remco van der schaaf and besart berisha

Obafemi Martins is in talks with 3 premier league clubs according to his agent. Aston Villa are the only one to officially confirm an interest but it is believed that the other two clubs are Everton and Arsenal. A move to the midlands may suit Martins who has friends there. Newcastle are looking to coop around £9 million as he still has two years left on his contract.
Talks will become more advance when he returns from holiday in Nigeria in about a fortnight.
Ajax are set to cash in on Vermalen so they can bid for Pandev of Lazio. He is expected to cost just over £10 million.
I have a relative who works at CELTIC PARK and he has told me the following information which can be takes as FACT!!!!!
Celtic will be looking to offload Venegoor of Castlemilk and SHAMaras and hopefully recieve £4m in total. McGeady is going to Everton for £4.5m and Artur Bawrash will leave for £3m. In will come Danny Gabbidon, Chris Mackie, Shaun Dillon, Brian Slavin, Gerry Mcqueen and possibly Freddie Sears on loan with a view to buying. Expect Mogga to be new boss in next few days.
Wigan are set to show Steve Bruce what he's missing by spending the money from the Valencia sale (impending) on bringing Roberto (B.Munich–free), Dean Ashton (£5 Mill), Stephen Hunt (£5 Mill) and Matthew Bates to the JJB. They will also look to get David Wheater on loan.
Everton will be looking to bring in
tom huddlestone 5m or Kevin Nolan 3m Newcaslte
Martins 9m
Joseph Ledley (£5.5m – £3m up–front, rest in add–ons)
Lucas Neill free or S Taylor 6m
Pennant – Free or Bentley 7m
Lars Jacobse will stay

Just heard that Man U have deals in place for belgiums DEFOUR and WISTEL. Apparently a friend of theirs was signed in Jan?
Now from past champions to the future champs;)
LFC will be loosing Arbeloa(sadly) as he wants to return home – he will sign for Athletico with a lad called Camacho(or sumink) coming this way.
Alonso will be sacrificed so we can afford one world class attacking talent. (your guess is as good as mine!)
J. martinez signing will be announced shortly and deals are quite close for S.Davis and BENNI McCARTHY.(???)
G.Johnson is still being looked at, but whether he signs or not another rb will be needed – G.Zuiverloon mentioned.
No mass exidos from Anfield; Dossena, leto, pennant and itandj only other players likely to leave.
More soon.

To the guy who said he started the rumour about hitler amassing troops in 1939 that's totally out of order mate what is your problem? It was me who started that rumour and you know it! I discovered it as i regularly walked hitler's neighbour's dog back in the day. Also i was the one who stole his testicle while he was asleep. Anyway id love mickey owen back at liverpool if he was free, i reckon hed be suitably humble now having been relegated which was why rafa let him go in the first place (him and stevie had too much power). Rumour wise i have family in turin and they reckon leonardo will sign adebayor and malouda for ac milan (or try to anyway)Also its worth pointing out that theyre not exactly 'insiders'– its just what theyv heard people talking about. DUCKULA
Watch out for tevez and joe cole playing back at upton park next season.
  HUDDERSFIELD NEWS

Rumours have been going around the club about a surprising bid for a top striker, love him or hate him, that striker is David Healy from Lee Clarks former club!
Barcelona manger pep guardiola has dicided that that the thinest area of the squad is defence, mainly full backs (he eventually got thier, bless him) and drawn up a list of targets and wants to add atleast 2 of the following:

most likely

Vidic – £23mil
Evra – £18mil
carvallho – £8mil
ramos – £33mil
marcelo – £13mil
lahm – £22mil
toure (arsenal) – £11mil
maxwell – £7mil

Cheers
Real Madrid are defiantly going to sign Ronaldo. Back in January there was a rumour about Real Madrid and Ronaldo having a Pre–Contract agreement and if Real Madrid didn't sign Ronaldo by the end of the summer he would have broken that agreement and the President of Real would have to pay £30 Million Pounds due to the contract agreement and so he will cough up £80 Million Pounds for Ronaldo and sign Kaka for £65 Million Pounds and Mr Perez is unhappy with the amount of Dutch players there and so he is willing to offload most of them:
Arjen Robben £15 Million Pounds
Van Der Vaart £12.5 Million Pounds
Wesley Sneijder £15 Million Pounds
Klaas–Jan Huntelaar £15 Million Pounds
Royston Drenthe £5 Million Pounds
Also he may be forced to sell Van Nistelrooy if he does sign Ronaldo because the pair of them had a bust–up whilst they were both at Man Utd and this bust–up resulted in Van Nistelrooy being sold.
Ex liverpool player gonzalez (left winger) will be signing for stoke
David Bentley might just be wearing the claret and Blue of West Ham next season along with young Darron Gibson from Manchester United.

Matthew Bates also looks to be a Zola target as does Martin Petrov from Man City.

Boa Morte will be celebrating his recent call up to the Portugal National Team by moving back to his native country.

Worrying news for Hammers will be whether Zola decides to keep both Ashton and Cole.
A good source tells me that Roy Aitken will be announced as celtic manager shortly. The club have been sounding out several candidates and discussing compensation with their respective clubs but have been impressed with Roy in a recent meeting.

He ticks all the boxes for Celtic Football Club.

Roy Aitken will bring in a former celtic team mate with him as his assistant
  Manchester United

United to sign Benzema, Tevez, Dodo and Douglas Costa to sign in the summer.

Dimitar Berbaflop to be sold for around £20m, Park, Nani, Campbell, Simpson and Kusczcak and others to leave.

Team for next season being:
GK: van der Sar to take a backseat role and let Foster boost his chances for the World Cup.

RB: Wes Brown and Rafael to battle it out for the right back position. Neville to retire

LB: Evra to continue his impressive form and Fabio to be more introduced and O'Shea to fill in when needed.

CB: Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic to retain their Centre back spot and Jonny Evans and Dodo to cover.

RM: Ronaldo to stay and have another great season with young Italian midfielder Davide Petrucci being introduced.

LM: Wayne Rooney to finally be assigned a position and he will excell in tracking back and pairing with Ronaldo on the counter attacks.

CM: Hargreaves to come back and be better than ever, Anderson and Carrick will rotate in the other centre midfield role with Giggs, Fletcher, Gibson and Douglas Costa to fill in. Scholes to retire or move, retirement is most likely.

ST: Tevez and Benzema to pair up front and form the best partnership in the Premier League. Macheda to fill in where needed. Welbeck also being played more.

Kaka HAS signed with Real Madrid. I spoke to an ESPN anaylist while travelling in Brazil. Not only did he tell me the deal was done, but Kaka has been handed the #5 shirt. Watch this space.
Aston Villa rumours – while Villa fans the world over
are holding their heads in their hands after the Barry sales and a lack of repsonse fom the MoN and the club, the scouts are busy and moves are been made.

Latest name on the radar is Javier Pastore, Huracan's (argentina)19yr old attacking midfielder. He has already turned down a move to Man Utd saying he wants first team football, something MoN would be willing to give him.

The lad is available on a free after his complicated club/agent ownership contract expired. His lack of international caps may hinder work permit applications, but there are ways around that.
I wouldn't want to stop all the rest of the rumours on here by naming the left sided attacker straight away, but it won't be Silva–the player he is on about is juan mata of valencia cf
  celtic manager latest

i've got a contact at edinburgh airport. . . tony adams arrived there this morning from holland and was smartly picked up by a people carrier heading for none other than cameron house – a handy place for a quiet chat i would say. . . . .
I am currently working in hope street in liverpool, on a hotel, and I can tell you that Xabi Alonso was in the hotel resteraunt 3 days in a row with 2 men. The 3rd time I saw him he was in there for 5 hours! I have since learned from a man who works on maintenance in the place that he will be joining Real Madrid. I am the man that told you about Lescott goin to Man City for 12 m, and lo and behold it was in the daily star yesterday. Expect that one to happen too.
Lee Trundle will be announced as the new Swansea manager at the start of next week.

Lee Hendrie is top of Gary Johnson's wish list.

  West Ham Utd Transfers

West Ham are looking to bring in both Carlos Vela and Mario Balotelli on loan, Jonjo Shelvey and Joe Ledley will sign for us and bolster our midfield along with utility players Miles Addison and Matthew Bates who will provide depth in defence and midfield. Zola wants these player and likes having a small squad with players that can play in multiple positions. One big signing will be Micah Richards as Lucas Neil is going to Man City and we provide the best option for Micah.

Players that are going to narrow down our squad and wage bill are:
• Diego Tristan
• Walter Lopez
• Calum Davenport
• Julien Faubert
• Kyle Reid
• Tony Stokes
• Nigel Quashie

• Freddie Sears (LOAN)
• Jimmy Walker

Expect West Ham to by in a cover left back and 1 more big signing. Injury prone players like Gabbidon, Ashton and Dyer have until January to prove their fitness.

More Developments with liverpool
THIS SHOCKED ME!
liverpool are to launch a 2m bid for CB Distin of portsmouth. Intrest from spurs and bolton aswell. Personally i think it is a waste of money.

Also the Tunchay deal seems to be progressing. 8m being rumoured + a youth loan. Hammil? Liverpool HAVE had a 20m bid from real for alonso. Im assuming this includes a player as i don't think 20m will be exepted.

LIVERPOOL have almost completed the signing of Martinez to take alonso's place. Also they have enquired about Man Citys Johnson.
Also Torres has been asked about by chelsea and real madrid. But liverpool have replied with a firm no.

Thats all ive got for now.
more to come. .
YNWA

OH also chelsea are tabling a bid of 38m for pato. Not sure if it will be accepted.
I am a westbrom season ticket holder and was told by an ex player who still works at the club that celtic wanted mowbary back in febuary as strachan was leaving.the bad news from west brom's point of view is that if he goes there number one choice is paul ince(ex wolves) surely not! expect plenty of departures if he does take the celtic job.
Liverpool will not sign lavezzi cos he wants to stay back in italy. An xabi Alonso will not leave cos rafa likes him to much an for the person who said xabi alonso is in a swap deal with sergio ramos and wesley snijder wat r u on about ramos is probaly now the 2nd best right back in the world (after dani alves). i would welcome glen johnson to liverpool but i will be said to see arbeloa go if he does yossi benayoun will stay after snubbing intrest from west ham and man city . david silva will come in for 17 million and tevez will stay at man utd.

Expect this team to win the SPL very easily, but more importantly achieve Celtic's highest ever Champions League finish – there's rumours of a Semi–final at Parkhead flying around. .you heard it hear first.
Never posted previously, and probably won't do again for risk of being identified, Liverpool FC fans, expect first signing within 10 days Currently the medical is all that is holding up the transfer of Davd Silva.
The Chief
Steve Bruce is looking to clear out the dead wood at Sunderland, Malbranque, Healy, Gordon, Russel Anderson, Connolly and Chopra will all leave promptly after being told they are not in Bruce's plans. Thus giving the new manager and extra £15million to spend on top of the £15 million already guaranteed by Quinn and the new American investor.
Moves for Wigan boys Titus Bramble and Mario Melchiot will be completed by the end of the week for a combined fee of 5 million.
Steve Bruce will also look to bring in Maik Taylor as cover to Marton Fulop and James McFadden who will be tempted by the premier league security Bruce is more likely to offer than Birmingham. This costing Bruce about £6million
Billy Davies is set to make an ambitious bid to land Joe Hart on a season long loan.
Martin O'Neill will step up the Bentley chase this week with a new £7.5million bid. He will also look to move quickly to re–sign Gary Cahill from Bolton for around £8million.
Lfc will offer flop xisco a shock chance at the premiership if they can secure him on a free. rafa reportedly said 'he is a player i like and know a lot of, he does not deserve to play down there.'
a free transfer would depend on the loan to nufc of jay spearing for at least 6 months.
Young Welsh full back Gareth Bale is a new target for Everton, Liverpool, Chelsea, Man Utd and Aston Villa.
Steve Bruce was devestated on Wednesday night at about 8pm when he got a text from Kenwyne Jones saying ' I will be handing in a transfer request in a few days unless you can guarantee me europe football'
I heard this from a mate who works at SAFC, and he recons that Martin Jol and David Moyes are already in touch.
I was the person who first claimed that Kaka would definatley be going to Madrid this summer. I put the rumour (fact) here about 2 months ago. And the deal will go ahead, I'm 99.9% certian

. .Anyway onto other news. (write this down and check it in a few weeks) Lucas Neill will sign for Bolton Wanderers, he was attracting interest from Liverpool but him and Carragher hate eachother and his arrival would of ruined team moral. There's no way I would make this us I am not a Bolton fan. Expect Man City to wrap up Tevez within the next 2 weeks. Ronaldo will leave to Real Madrid with Kaka and Ribery. Madrid will also attempt to sign David Villa with Hunterlaa going to either Man Utd or Arsenal. Liverpool are the team most likely to sigh Silva, and Rafa is willing to bid up to 25M (despite what the papers say) If Rafa can't get Johnson (Chelsea want him back) then he will sigh either Rafinha or Sergio Ramos. And finally Xabi Alonso WILL be a Liverpool player next season even though Madrid won't give up. Rafa will still want to sign Martinez as he feels he would be perfect backup for Mascerano and Alonso.

  RANGERS NEWS!!

Why do people keep linking Hutton with a return to Ibrox? Sure WS likes him and he is a good player but there is not need with Whittaker performing well. Rangers need the money from the deal to help solve other problem areas.

Rangers fans expect largely SPL standard players, maybe one EPL marquee signings. WS will look to raid teams for the likes of Cerny, McArthur, Gomis, Wallace, Mulgrew, Lee Miller, Driver, Barr, Aluko, Ross, Arfield, Reynolds, Szamotulski, Kyle, Dorman or Hughes.

All of the above a decent pro's who would do a good job for the club.
Time for some realistic rumours unlike many of the people here.
It is expected a busy summer in the 2 biggest teams in Spain.

Barca wants to remain being world's best team and his president has declared thay they will make some 1st class signings.
– Ibrahimovic. With Etoo probably leaving in 2010 Barcelona will need another top striker, but as the african cup of nations is next year and Etoo will be out for about a month, the catalonian team wants to link him now and the player is more than pleased with the oportunity of joining the best team in the world right now and even more when his friend Larson has told him that he should do anything that is on his hands to be in that club. The deal could be sealed in around 30–35 million
– Ribery. Talks with Bayern have been aready made and Barcelona is trying to include some players (Gusjhonsen, Hleb) to reduce the price. The club knows that Ribery has played his last game wuth them and will be forced to look for a deal with either Barcelona or Madrid. The player wants to play in Spain next season as he has 2 great friends in each big club in Spain: Henry in Barcelona and Zidane in Madrid so an agreement with the player would not take more tyhan 2 min.
– Essien. Talks are progressing as Ancelotti don't consider him a key player and Barca wants to take advantage of it bringing him for around 25m. The player wants to play with Barcelona s he was greatly impressed with his games in CL and would love to be part of that.
– A LB. The favourite here is Lahm but Barcelona wnows that it would be quite difficult to take away 2 of Bayern biggest players at a reasonable price so they are looking for other alternatives that include A.Cole, Evra, Srna, L.Filipe and Riise

Out would be Gudjhonssen that will be back in PL for around a fee of 7–8m, Hleb which Guardiola has told to be very happy with his game and his attitude but that right now doesn't feat in the teeam and will be sold for around 15m, and Keita, that if Essien finally comes in, wouldn't have room in the team and would be sold for around 15m too.
  MAN UNITED NEWS:–
1.United have got 80m euro pound deal for shirt sponsor.united also won 80m for the premier league and 50 m for the champs league.
2. frm this 210 m united will pay upto 100 million of their debt.
3.from the remaining 100 million expect big signings to continue the success.
4.after being torn to shreds in midfield by barca fergie is looking to sign a dominant central midfielder gourcuff or pjanic are being looked at
5.the other two big signings will be benzema and ribery/silva with 30m for benzema being made available by the glazers.
6.nani will return to sporting lisbon with united paying sporting 10m n swap veloso
7. FINALLY RONALDO WONT LEAVE
do not expect all of these but at least 3 of them will surely happen
I hear that rudi skacel is a free agent and could possibly be heading back to hearts
I have it on good authority that everton have been asked by Alex Furguson if they would like to take nani on a year long loan deal next season i am a liverpool fan and can say this is a great source so watch tis space
Kaka is set 2 join Madrid for around 65 million Euros, Chelsea made a late 73 million euro bid and Ancelotti tried 2 convince Kaka, but his mind is made up and he will join Real Madrid

AC Milan will b cashed up and could make a move for Essien and almost definetly Adebayor. Chelsea will want Pato and are willing to pay 45 million euros, something Milan will turn down unless Essien is part of the deal. If Chelsea want Pirlo they will have 2 offer Drogba in return.

Arsenal are on the verge of a 10 million deal for Ajax captain Thomas Vermalen. They want Hangeland, but Fulham want 15 million and Arsene could turn to Mamadou Sahko who is an attractive option at 8 million (Wenger could well offer Gallas as part exchange). If Adebayor leaves, Huntelaar could come in, Wenger will hold out 4 25–30 million from Milan and move 4 Huntelaar who is expected to b cashed in to fund Madrid's spree. Blaise Matudi could come in to bolster the midfield and so could Mohamadou Dabo 2 replace Eboue who has admitted that Atletico, Inter and Juve are chasing him

Liverpool are set 2 lose out on Glen Johnson, as Chelsea have submitted a 17 million pound bid and unless Benitez tops that Johnson could b on his way to Stamford Bridge.

Liverpool could face a battle with a cashed up Man Utd who just completed an 80 million Shirt–sponsorship deal for Lavezzi who is unsettled at Napoli. Man Utd will offer the 25 million for Tevez but the he may turn them down 4 Man City who have a 32 million offer prepared. SAF sees Lavezzi as a great replacement and will offer 25 million that will top Liverpool's 22 million bid.

Liverpool will swoop 4 Middlesbrough pair Tuncay and Gary O'Neil and a move for Bilbao's Javi Martinez could eventuate if Xabi Alonso is subject to a 25 million bid. Liverpool will try 2 snag Higuain or Sergio Ramos but will b turned down becoz new coach Pelligrini has put both on an untouchables list that includes Casillas, Pepe, L.Diarra, Gago and Raul.

Barcelona are willing 2 listen 2 offers 4 Eto'o above 20 million pounds, Man City are favourites and Eto'o is willing to join especially since he has acheived everything at Barca and he is inside his final year at the club. Defensive pair Gaby Milito and Martin Caceras will also b put on the mrket with AC Milan and Marseille interested. Barca will bring back Henrique from loan and make a 20 million move for Vidic. they will move 4 Ibrahimovic to replace Eto'o and Maxwell at LB.

BREAKING NEWS: Real Madrid have agreed 2 send Wesley Snejder and Arjen Robben to Milan as part of the Kaka deal.

MoN if he can get all these players will feel this squad is easily capable of getting a top 4 spot.
To start with. . . . Obafemi martins will be heading out frm the Magpies. . . with arsenal,Tottenham & everton interested.
Next is Alexandre Pato eager to join Chelsea. .
Deco interested to join Mourinho at Inter.
Arsenal Transfers; There will not be a mass change to Arsenal in the summer despite some supporters wishful thinking, just a few signings to add a bit of bite and Competitiveness. Leaving the club will be Senderos, Bischoff, Gallas/Toure, Adebayor. Wenger will offload one of theses 2 cb's as they do not get along and it all depends on a bid for Toure from Man City, if that doesn't come in then it is likely Gallas will leave to Italy or Spain. Adebayor is leaving as he is attracting much interest and will still be worth around 18–23mil. With the money the board have put forward expect 3 players to be bought in, if Hanglehand turns us down wenger will turn his attention tho Vermaelen of Ajax for a similar fee. Next will be one of 2 players either Bliase Matuidi of St Ettienne or Lorik Cana of Marseille, both are strong central midfielders that are being looked at and both in the region of 5mil. Finally will bee Ade's replacement being Obafemi Martins, his price has declined due to Newcastles relegation and Wenger is a big fan and even moved for him when Allardyce was in charge but martins wanted to stay on at that time. With Rosicky back in the fold expect to see Arshavin take more of a central role, playing just off the striker. With changes to be made in midfield do not be shocked to see the likes of Denilson, song & Nasri become restless at limited starts. Also Barcelona are set to test arsenal resolve by biddig 42–46mil for Fabregas which will split the board and could go either way. Unfortunately Wenger holds Bendtner in high regard so we won't see him leave – even if he is a mid–table quality player at best!

I am a receptionist at a private clinic in Hale in Cheshire. We have just done the medical for Jan Klass Huntelaar, who is on his way to Manchester City in a deal that his agent told my director was worth 41 million euros. This deal will be unveiled on Sunday along with the Tevez deal. This part of the deal, I can't confirm as Tevez is not booked in with us.

Your heard it here first.

Undisclosed, for obvious reasons

Come on you blues
Does anyone else think Crouch to sunderland is ridicules?

we (im a pompey fan) only have one decent striker and it looks like al–fahim will be buying the club so money is not an issue why would we let him go, same with Glen Johnson going Liverpool/Chelsea for 12m!! stupidest thing i have heard Bosingwa cos like 15m and he is not fit to polish Glen's boots and he just signed a new contract.

The word in Portsmouth is if Mancini becomes manager he will sign Ibrahimovic for 30m
As a massive cardiff city fan, and being a cleaner in the legendary ninian. i have inside information to say that ched evand from mancity will be signing for out club, he is on his way down as we speak. it will be a years loan, with an option to sign, with man city paying 40% of his wage for the loan year.
i can also say that barry ferguson is in talks with dave jones and peter ridsale after rangers accept a 1.1m deal for the scottish centre midfielder.
after having dissapointment in not making the play offs dave jones wants a massive clear out of the club, with parry, kennedy, mcphail, commage being sold out, dj wants to use some in part of a deal, to reduce the cost of players.
they are also in talks to bring delfuoneso from west ham on a years loan, hoping to sign him beofre preseason starts.
they are also intrested in darren gibson and lee martin from manchester united.
i also understand that a 18 year old, youth player from the club, james kestell, is being looked at by aston villa, after they sold gareth barry and are looking for a young talent to fill the role.
i have inside information and i can say that most of these deals will be done.

Slug aka stiffler
Aresnal have money to spend but will be sensible.

Goalkeepers:
Fabianksi will be a cup keeper again, but arsene will keep almunia unless he can get some good money, maybe 6m for him AND there is a guarantee for a top young keeper coming in, possibly akinfeev or maybe even the lyon keeper Hugo Lloris.
income=5m
spend= 12m
Defence:
I think Gallas will stay for experience to the youngsters unless wenger has a chance of signing a younger replacement, but Senderos will be offloaded for about 4 or 5m. Nortveidt will return from loan to play next season along with Song as Arsene sees these as future centre back stars. he will still sign a centre defender tho, one who can play along the back four, so expect someone like metzelder to come in, or possibly mexes, even Thiago Silva as a shock signing.
income= 5m (maybe 9–10 inc gallas)
spend=9m

Midfield:
fabregas wants trophies but is too loyal to the manager and the club, he will stay for another year at least. don't be suprised if rosicky is offloaded this summer, possibly to a spansih side. expect fran merida and nacer barazite to make some 1st team appearances, but more likely the cup games. other sales may well include diaby, he is just not good enough and not even showing as much potential as he should. wenger will go for a little more stability and a bit of flair with 2 signings, expect to see senna in to guide denilson for a year, and add a young quality like veloso or even ashley young as a shock, although he will likely prove too expensive.
Income= 8m
spend= 14m

Forwards:
this is where it gets interseting. for some reason wenger likes bendtner and will keep him, and vela will come good in the next year. plus with the return of eduardo there are bright futures here. adebayor is going to go, wenger likes him as a player but will sacrifice him for the good of the team and the coffers, 23m to chelski or barca. van persie has 1 year left and stalling, so he will have to go this summer unless he signs.
either way if he goes or stays wenger will only sign 1 stirker, that will be huntellar. he is young, a fantastic finisher and will fit in with the style of play.
income= 23m (35 if van persie doesn't sign)
spend= 9m

total income=30–45m
total spend= 31–46m
so arsene will have boost to his squad yet still break even with his finances, which he clearly likes!!
My wife works in the office of Sheffield Wednesday and heard that Brian Laws is extremely disapointed that his team didnt not get into the play offs and apparantly had a huge paddy and has fallen out with alot of the players who wish to leave the club.
  To Ollie Niddrie

I agree with you that the prices qouted for the players is wrong but how can you say Zlatan Ibrahimovic is too old when he is 27, DOB 3rd October 1981. That is peak age for most footballers and Ibrahimovic is a quality striker, so 31mil under values him. Check out his goals on youtube or something. If Berbatov was bought for 29mil then that should make Ibrahimovic worth 40mil.

Sorry to say I have no rumours!
Spurs are planning to raid Nott'm Forest for central defensive rock Wes Morgan. Redknapp is willing to spend up to £5 million.
Wolves have almost completed the signing of Nabed Milijas from Red star Belgrade, the estimated fee will be around £2.6 million. Wolves have also been linked with Frazier Campbell, Darren Bent, Danny Murphy, Sean Davis and Michael Owen, there is also speculation of signing Michal Mancienne but it looks as if he will be stayingat Chelsea or off on his travels to real Madrid.
Everton are interested in signing Sammy Clinghan from Norwich. Moyes see's him as the ideal anchor for Cahill.

Also suprise apprise aproach from Celtic to take bad boy Barton on loan for a season.

The monk never lies!
Steve Bruce is set to raid the top two this summer with bids for Ji Sung Park (£8 mil), Wes Brown (£5 mil), Jermaine Pennant (Free) and Ryan Babel (Loan). He will also look to add Dean Ashton to the ranks in a cut price £4 mil. He will then search the globe for a leader on the pitch and will more than likely plump for Nikki Butt for next to nothing. SAFC should be able to push for europe with these signings.
Bayern Munich are looking to cash in on Ribery so they can fund moves for Dzeko, Deco and Metzelder.

Expect a huge summer of transfer activity.

Chelsea are back to buying big because Ancelotti demanded a good transfer kitty to create his perfect team.
Chelsea will look to sign;

– Pato: £28 million + Ricardo Carlvalho.
Pato has stated that he would love a crack at the Premierleague but has stated that Chelsea will be the only team he would like to join. The fee will be reduced by Carvalho's involvement as he has suggested that he would like a fresh challenge either in Spain or Italy, which alerted Milan to his availability.

– Ashley Young: £21 million
One of the shining young players of the Prem, Ashley Young will relish the chance of Champions League football. Aston Villa look set to lose a lot of their squad this summer and Martin O'Neil will definitely have to rebuild

– Zhirkov: £16 million
He has been one of the best players in the Russian league and would love to play in English football. CSKA Moscow have all but given up on keeping him in the Russian capital and Chelsea look set to land the Ruski!

Gareth Barry: £12 million
Joleon Lescott: £10 million

Chris Brunt could swap the Hawthorns for St.Andrews in a £1.5million deal next week!
Owen Coyle is looking to offer Forest forward Rob Earnshaw another punt at the Premiership with a 3 million pound bid. He could also tie up deals for free agent Salif Diao and Stoke goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen for 1 Million.
Rangers are prepared to offer Pedro Mendes a new contract as he had asked, however with interest from Sporting Lisbon, Benfica and a host of premier league clubs including Europa League candidates Fulham he is stalling, much to the dismay of the board.
He could be offloaded for about 4 million euros (3 million) if he does not sign within 3 weeks.
Nicky Shorey is the next player leaving Aston Villa, O'Neill has told him that he will have to up his game dramatically if Wilfred Bouma can get back to his old form. This latest clash between Manager and player has alerted attention from a host of the bottom half of the table premier league clubs.
Birmingham, Stoke, Blackburn, Sunderland, Bolton and Tottenham would all be willing to meet the £3 million valuation. 2.5 million pounds lower than what Villa paid this time last year.
Kevin nolan will return to bolton wanderers! newcastle need to cut their squad and this is tasty news for gary megson who sees the talented individuals available as an opportunity to recreate his team on a lower budget. kevin nolan will return for £2million, peter lovenkrands will also join bolton for about £300,000!
There are a few rumours flying around Teeside that Middlesbrough are interested in signing energetic midfield duo Stephen McPhail and Gavin Rae from Cardiff City for around £500,000 for both.
  Hangeland to Arsenal for 8mil
Jamie Cureton to Bolton for 3 million, they need a big brusier.

Luis Suarez is the latest target for Manchester City, the young uruguyan international will cost Mark Hughes approximately £11million, despite wanting to keep the player this is an offer Ajax can not afford to refuse these days.
Juninho is being touted to all clubs playing European football next season after his release by Lyon. Serie A side Genoa are the only club to make an offer so far, but Bayern Munich,AC Milan, Hamburg and Everton could all be interested.
Man Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Aston Villa, Inter and Celtic have all slammed the door on the Brazillian's agent.
To the clown who wrote. .

"Robert Elseton Everton Cheif exec has just been on the phone to Spanish consultant in Barcelona asking to be put in touch with Athletico Bilbao over signing 2 possible targets. Believed to be Llorente and Yeste. I can confirm this as i am in the office in Barcelona with the "spanish consultant" as i am typing this."

. . a few points from someone who knows Bilbao.
1. Why would Robert Elseton phone Barcelona (which is a Catalan area to contact Bilbao? Surely he'd contact someone from the Basque region (a region that has good links with the UK regarding football). Considering Howard Kendall's association with both clubs, and their friendly last summer (of which he attended), you'd think a more direct link would be available!
2. Fernando Llorente is a target for a number of clubs but i'm affraid will not go due to an improved contract. If he ever did, Valencia would be his most likely destination if/when Villa goes.
3. The club is Athletic Bilbao not Athletico Bilbao. If you are in a Spanish office then no proper spaniard would let you get away with that.
4. Fran Yeste is talented but is also a bit of a maverick when it comes to consistency. Any squad with Pienaar, Arteta and Osman are unlikely to want a player like him.
Sir Alex Ferguson has told Paul Scholes and Gary Neville they are free to look for new clubs if they want to. He has said they are only bit part players from here on in and he has agreed to honour their loyalty with fresh 2 year contracts or allow them to join another club in search of first team football.
Birmingham City and Hull will be the first two clubs in for Paul Scholes, with interest from Championship side Derby, Forest and Middlesborough expected.
As yet there is no interest in Gary Neville, and he may be forced to accept the new contract or retire.
I have just been told that NATHAN DELFOUENSO has joined LEEDS UNITED on a season long loan! Will be announced tomorrow by press when last few details go through.
He's off again, Jermain Defoe is becoming increasingly uncomfortable with his situation at spurs. He is unhappy with his role on the bench last season and he has been told by Harry when asked that another striker will be coming in.
Manchester City and Aston Villa could go head to head in a £15 million transfer.
The blues boss McLeish has made his second signing in as many days, former Villa midfieler George Boateng has joined from Hull for 500 grand! Press release on Friday night, watch this.
Chris Iwelumo of Wolves is close to signing for Cardiff City, a family friend works at the Spire Hospital in Cardiff and he is due for his Medical on Friday morning.
Real Madrids 37 million euro bid for Vidic has been accepted. It is up ro Vidic now if he wants to leave. United will sign Sheffield United defender Kyle Naughton, Brazilian defender DoDo, and Jolean Lescott.
Like the scenario of Frazier Campbell joining Tottenham when United signed Berbatov. When Rafa Benitez finally signs Stewart Downing, he will be asked as a condition to give Nabil El Zhar and Emilano Insua on 1 year and 6 month loan deals respectively on top of the £8.5 million transfer fee.
Talk of 5 or 6 players moving to Old Trafford is silly – why do people bother making this stuff up!

Both stoke and Hull are keen on Frasier Campbell but no concrete offers have been made yet. Expect a fee in the region of £4M. Darren Gibson has also attracted the interest of Phil Brown after his impressive display against Hull in the last game of the season.
I'm an autograph collector and vendor in the north–east and this morning I've been waiting around Michael Owen's house, no sign of Owen, but I did get a few autographs from Mark Viduka who lives a few houses down the street. I asked him if he knew where Michael is and he said that he thinks he is down in LONDON looking at new houses!

So there we have it, Spurs, Chelsea, Arsenal. One of them must be signing Owen. It could of course be Fulham, but I'd presume West Ham would be blown out of the water and fall at the first hurdle.
Millwall 2 sign josh wright from charlton by the end of the week factt
Everton are rumoured to be signing Jermaine Pennant on a free (out of contract), Owen (out of contract) as well as some loan deals. However Villa are looking more likely to sign Owen because he enjoys working with Heskey and knows MON can revive his career.
Let the merry go round begin. .
