Expect Trotman, Westcarr and maybe Allott to leave Chesterfield FC shortly

TROTMAN/ALLOTT/WESTCARR should go 100% & also WHITAKER/RANDALL.
Whitaker is a shadow of his form from the promotion year - RANDALL is a player who only performs 1-game in 6 to me, no improvement in him to last season.

Allott released this morning - confirmed. now, lets shift out some of the other 'dead wood'! also, lets try and get boden out on season long loan - had too many chances & is only average conference level player.

Scouts from Man Utd, Chelsea and Liverpool were at vicarage road on sunday to track the progress of watfords 18 year old centre back Tommie Hoban

They wouldn't have seen him play, as the game was on Saturday

He turned down Man City last year so inless they want to play him why scout him?

It was Sean Murray who turned down Man City not Hoban

No it was both Hoban & Murray, City came back with a bid but both said no, the offer was next to nothing anyway

He'll cost big bucks, Watford are no longer going to be mugged off by the big clubs. We are back!!

Keep Hoban at the club, big player with big future

Hoban rejected man city and left arsenal to play for watford, correct ?

Chris Coleman's Blackpool managerial application has been rejected by the Tangerines hierarchy. Karl Oyston has reportedly interviewed Michael Appleton, Owen Coyle, Paul Ince amongst others. Steve Kean was being touted for the job, but is interested in talking to the SFA about the recently available Scotland manager job.

Paul ince has not had an interview, please dont link him just cos his son plays for bpool! blackpool's shortlist is two managers with appleton confirm as one. i would hazard a guess that coyle is the other but paul ince (apart from having a relatively poor managerial record) would be the first to want his son leaving bpool if they cant get promoted!
Yvon

Could have believed you until you said kean for Scotland

Coyle or ince to get it. Coyle did get burnly up before but did fail with bolton. Ince no good in the prem but could probally win the championship for us. Hopefully we get promated and ollie gets sacked by palace. Then we could get him back for the premier league. UTMP

We better not get appleton he will not get us up and all our star players will leave

Come on the pool.
Premier league here we come (hopefully)

Since ollie has left that good postive attitude he had will not be their anymore. So all the pool fans should show a spectular postive support at all the pool matches even if were getting beat by loads. This could result in the pool players lifting their heads and playing like they used to because they know the fans are supporting them and having faith in them. Like ian used to show in them. So if all the pool fans make loads of noise we could end up where we belong the promise land (prem).
Come on the mighty pool. If we belive we can do it

Craig Levine has been approached by an unamed league 1 team who currently have a manager. It is believed that he could be lined up as the replacement for Paolo Di Canio at Swindon.

Well that's hardly an un named league 1 team then isn't it, if you say it's PDC's replacement

Why would we want a manger that cant manage Scotland's finest players?

Makes sence scottish just like the new chariman & will kill swindon & make them a league one side going no where

Twaddle! 1 he wouldn't want to drop to league 1 and 2 Swindon wouldn't want and don't have the players to play his more aggressive defence minded football!

Get over the Scotland job - as they say you cant polish a t**d! Swindon on the other hand he will be succesful.

Lets get this Scottish thing in perspective a little. Aberdeen are a larger than average team in the SPL, we let Jerel Ifil go there for nothing as he was surplus to requirements and not good enough for Lge 1 football, Aberdeen fans management etc thought he was great.

Another is Lee Cox he came to us from ICT who manager Terry Butcher said he/they couldn't compete to keep Lee Cox at ICT, Cox now is surplus to requirements and is on loan at oxford.

So my point is I'd rather not have Craig Levin as manager, as he wouldn't be good enough.

Anyway its all hypothetical as this is a load of BS as Sir William has come out and said that Swindon are out of the EMBARGO and that Paulo deals with first team affairs and that Boards of Directors only get involved when results are going terribly wrong.

SPL bar Celtic are Lge 1 standard at best, whenever Scottish teams have the chance to play English teams they raise their game considerably.

Chelsea looking to bring swindon brothers nathan and lois thompson to the bridge if a fee can be agreed in january as di matteo sees the pair having a very bright future in the game.

I don't think di matteo will be chelsea boss in january

Rubbish! They are both very good, but not premiership standards by a long way!

Not prem quality now but they may be in the future, therefore Chelsea may sign them.

Before joining crystal palace ex blackpool manager Ian Holloway was set to join Ipswich, I don't know why the sudden change happened but the deal was done and everything
He also applied for the burnley they were not interested in him

Steve from Ipswich is obviously gutted that Ian Holloway became Crystal Palace after turning down Ipswich Town. Now they have to make do with Mick McCarthy.

Thats old news mate come on catch up your about a week late with that one {Ed003's Note - he never spoke to Ipswich,it was purely press speculation}

I am happy to 'make do' we have a very good manager in place now

McCarthy is an excellent manager, Ipswich have done well. So have Palace with Holloway. Wish them both luck

Nothing wrong with mick mccarthy,he will do a good job as holloway would of as well but they never spoke 2 him

What ajoke, mccarthy is, one win and everyone thinks hes a genius, 3-0 tonight, should have got holloway, or owen coyle for that matter, same old ipswich, get rid of clegg, and get marcus evans to flog the club to the sheiks, we are goin down

What a load of stupid comments,this just shows how bad Jewell as a judge of players,MM will sort it but give the man a chance,what's the point of some persons knocking him after two games.grow up

No, thats rubbish holloway stated that he d had no approach from ipswich. was just pure speculation

Some of you posters need to grow up and get real.how on earth can you judge a manager after two games,get real or your not real supporters,just Norwich leftovers.!

You have to ask who the source was that was telling the Ipswich press that Holloway was in the running for the Town job. Probably look no further than Holloway's Mr 10% to drum up a bit of interest for his client to get him a new job. {Ed003's Note - I'm not sure Holloway has an agent? }

Rubbish interview with karl oysten said only one club before crystal come in for him and that was in February ( leeds most likely) so rubbish {Ed003's Note - It was Wolves}

Stop all this stupid talk about who or is manager at Ipswich.my view is we have the best man for the job so just get off his back and give him support .

Lets get something clear.....Mick as alot of work to do with the team he as to pick up the pieces left by the previous 2 managers may be adrop into Div 1 will shake up the team mick mcartney is defently the man to take the team were it should be ....give him a chance its not going to happen overnight

A drop down could be the making of the club, Even with what happened to Norwich look at the way they are now, and they look like a solid outfit now and doing well in the cup and League

That is total rubbish,dropping down a league would kill the club
