Celtic Rumour:

Garry O'Connor to Celtic. Gordon Strachan is a huge admirer of the player and its known that Strachan would like more british based players at Celtic Park. Expect Celtic to bid around £3 million. Also Strachan is quite keen on Garry Kenneth of Dundee United as the player has had a lot of experiance of first team football, cup finals, european games and he is not even 22!!

Sven will take over from Tony Mowbray this week and will keep the baggies in the premier league. Ok, maybe not the last part but i have a good friend who works at the hawthorns and has been told to book him a hotel for tomorrow.
When Sven Goran Erikson takes charge of Sunderland he will try to bring in:
Dean Ashton (West Ham)
Taye Taiwo ( Marseille)
Edin Dzeko(Wolfsburg)
Steven Naismith (Rangers)
Emanuel Eboue (Arsenal)
Henrik Larsson (Helsinborgs)
Florent Malouda (Chelsea)
Abu Ogogo (Arsenal)
Angelos Charisteas (Nuremberg)
Torsten Frings (Werder Bremen)
You heard it from me first: Brian Loovens
Please,Paul le Guen has stated he made a massive mistake in going to Ibrox, his pride hurt and his reputation was in question, and he would not take a gamble like that again,a good coach but not suited to the British type of football, very similar to Scolari at Chelsea their style is better off elsewhere.so him going back no chance!!

If Rangers financial position vastly improves(a takeover, which is expected in the summer) expect a move for Moyes or Jol,if it does'nt, Levein is favourite.

RUMOURS FROM DAROWA.
Good to see that the rankers fans still have a sense of humour. . .

rumours about dodgy dave getting a buyer!!!!! he has been trying to sell rankers for abour 4 years and had no takers, his company MIH own £50M toxic debt from the last share issue as well as the £20M current debt, so its pretty hard to see anyone wanted to buy a club with that amount of debt, when you add in the assits, Ipox & minty park they would need to spend approx £100M. No–one is going to spend that just to own a team in the SPL.

They need to sell a few players in the summer to try and get some cash, that's why they are looking to sell barry sidebaw & mcgregor. Rankers will acept bids on all players in the summer but will only get decent offers for Davis, Mendes & bougerra. All 3 will be sold jsut after the closing date for the season books.

As for the clown who thinks that Polly Gwen is coming back to manage them. . . why would he want to come back to a club that treated him so bad????

real rumours going about are that the soon to be 4 in a row champs, Celtic of course, will be signing Fletcher from Hibs for approx £2M+add ons depending on apprearences & goals. James McCarthy from the Accies will also sign for approx£1.5M+add ons again.

Please god, a left back, its only been 3 years since we needed one!!!!
Expect to see the following leave:
McGeady – £6M a few interested in him.
JVOH – Free – a waste of a wage if offered a new deal!!!
Bobo– at last!!!!
Donati – £1M – Italy
Hartly – £350K – Hearts
M Brown – £100K Dundee Utd – Maybe to Accies as part of the McCarthy deal

dont expect to see a lot of cash being spent in the SPL, Celtic will spend just enough to stay ahead of rankers.

Hail Hail
  To the person who said:
'Arsenal are going to be the most active as they sign Diego,Pepe,Podolski,Zhirkov,M'bia and the return of Henry and being joined by Ibrahimovic with Adebayor,Nasri,Vela,Bentdner,Diaby,Rosicky and Gallas all leaving'.
Please, get real! Do you really believe that Wenger would spend that much money? Diego would cost around £18–20m, Pepe around £25m, Zhirkov around £15m, Ibrahimovic around £30m, and do you really think we would get Henry back? As for the players you have stated that would leave, do you really think that we would let two of the worlds hottest young prospects in Samir Nasri and Carlos Vela leave? Wenger would cut off his an arm and leg to keep both of these. Adebayor has already said that he wants to stay. Gallas has said he will see out the remaining two years of his contract. Wenger is a big admirer of Rosicky, plus who would buy him when he has been injured for a year? Diaby will be targeted by Inter, however he will stay at Arsenal, as he knows that he has a much bigger chance of making it at Arsenal, and he also knows that Wenger has a lot of faith in the midfielder, after he dubbed Diaby 'the new Vieira'. Please consider my points.

Also, to the person who said that Man United will sell Ronaldo to Real Madrid and use the money to buy Franck Ribery and Carlos Tevez permenantly, you are spot on. I am aware that Ronaldo has recently said in a press conference that he is at the right club with United, however it is no secret that his dream is to play for Madrid. United would also secure the services of Luis Antonio Valencia for around £18m.

In Arsene We Trust
  LIVERPOOL
Iniesta has said that he wonty go anywhere and Barca won negotiaate a price, so obviously that rumour is rubbish, and for 14–18m? . lol
'Pool cannot pay what etoo is demanding (not to mention that etoo said recently that he wants to stay at Barca), and Barca won't let him go for less than 35 million, so that is just another unrealistic rumour whith no fundaments at all

I love this site, its often a good laugh and occasionally some posters know what they're on about. But,we're getting closer to the silly season where the runmours on this site will come thick and fast. Mostly of the thick variety! For example the Downing – Bentlely swap rumour. Does anyone expect Middlesborough to be a Premiership team next season? No, so if Downing leaves it won't be becasue Bentley fabcies life in the Championship.

Lennon to Liverpool? Wishful thinking, or does his new contract (and his stated happiness and WHL) mean nothing? Spurs won't sell him anyway. But, with Ronaldo going to Real, who fancies Bentley to Man Utd?

Think about it. Fergie (so I've read) thinks Ronaldo peaked last year, and Ronaldo told him last summer he doesn't know what he has left to achieve there. With Peres gone from Real a deal will be done and Utd will need a right sided midfielder. Bentley?

Berbatov was bought for the long term since Man U realised Ronaldo won't be around and therefore an adjustment in tactics and formation is on the cards. You can't replace a Ronaldo, so you adjust and play to other strengths. Berbatov won't be going anywhere.

Downing might well leave when Boro go down. It's either Everton or Spurs.

It seems odd that Chimbonda found his way back to WHL. The word is it was part of a longer term arrangement involving a resolution on payments and future fees. Kenwyn Jones got a new deal, Chimbondas wages paid for it, and Jones stays until the end of the season then goes, but got his new deal anyway!

Which probably means Bent will leave (Sunderland?) and Harry gets 2 Big/Small striker combinations: Defoe/Keane/Jones/Pavluychenko.

Jenas will stay at WHL. Anyone who's seen the improvement knows Harry likes him. BTW he signed a contract extension until 2013!

Come on guys, smell the coffee. Tying players to 4 year deals means you don't need to sell and the terms are probably good enough to prevent other teams offering more, especially in the current climate.

As for Huddlestone, he's a luxury becasue of his slowness. Unless a team gets built around his passing skills what's the point. I doubt anyone would build a team round him at the moment. Best guess is he will also stay as Harry improves his all round game with sub appearances and cup games.
Manchester United to have a new look offense next year: Ronaldo will finally move to Real Madrid for 85 mil. Also, Nani will move to Spain or Italy for 14 mil. Berbatov will go if a bid of 28 mil or higher is received (could be Citeh). The money will go to a surprise double swoop for Valencia pair David Villa and David Silva, costing around 65 mil, and Ribery from Bayern for 40 mil. If Berbatov is sold, he remaining money from sales will be used as part of a bid for Benzema or, if that fails, to make Carlos Tevez's move permanent.
  Scottish news .

Rumours of there being a buyer for Rangers are false
yes a Canadian had a look but was scared off by the real complexity behind the clubs real debts ,So the sale of players will go a head with replacements likely to be loans or easy to get out of contract players at weaker scottish teams like Dundee uniteds
Striker Sandaza and craig conway.

Celtic will replace a few players but will not be spending much either but will get Fletcher from hibs for a cheap sum .

Hearts will try for Darren Barr of Falkirk and another as yet unnamed player if Falkirk go down, Plus Csaba Lazlo has some european targets if he can move on a few out of contract players.

Craig Levien dundee united manager is looking for another crack at the english leagues and would take a job at an ambitious 1st div or championship side.

Aberdeen manager Jimmy Calderwood will not quit if Aberdeen fail to make europe and the club don't have the money to pay him off.

Hibs will sell capt Rob Jones in the summer but will look to there youth team to shore up the side rather than buy in players.
Some interesting rumours, and please these are only rumours, im not related to jose mourinho and im not alex fergasons baby sitter,

owen hargreaves –> arsenal –> 4 million
fabian delph –> Manchester United –> 7.75 million
ryan babel –> Manchester City –> 10 million
dario srna + niko kranjcar –> totenham hotspur 18.5 million
craig david to give up singing and to become manager of arsenal, ok so that ones a lie but the rest might be true
'Ted rogers to buy out rangers fc. . . .very interesting, unless he is planning to do it from beyond the grave. . .he passed away 2nd december 2008. . . sometimes its worth checking out your facts', now while it wasn't me that originally wrote what you are replying to, Ted Rogers had a son, who is also called, wait for it, Ted Rogers, the III, you know how Americans love originality so much. He, I believe, now owns the company. Irony in your statement? I think so. Anyway, rumours, Real Madrid want pretty much Liverpool's entire team, with bids planned for Arbeloa, Alonso, and Agger. Liverpool will say no to all of them, but only to Agger should he sign a new contract before the window opens. While many believe Liverpool require a back up partner for Torres, Benitez believes N'gog and Nemeth are more than capable long term, and he may attempt to nab Owen on a short term deal. After the relative failures of Babel and Riera, Benitez will try to bring in Ben Arfa from Marseille, as he feels the direct, close control nature of the player will be very useful against park the bus teams. Hiddink will complete a permanent move to Chelsea in the summer, and Abramovich will begin another transformation of the Chelsea team, with potential bids for several young superstars from around the world. They will look to replace the oldest members of the team, so this means they are looking for centre mids and strikers, with Sissoko, Hamsik, Aguero and Benzema all targets. Newcastle, should they stay up will look to sign, shockingly, some good defenders to stabilise their team, especially necessary to replace Bassong, who will go to Arsenal, where he will stroll into the first 11, likely to be, John O'Shea, Wes Brown, Nedem Onuoha, Sami Hyypia, Hangeland and Wheater are all targets. Shearer believes Premiership proven recruits are the best way to go, and Ashley is willing to fund Shearer's choices, as shown by the departure of Wise.

first of all when has wenger ever re signed any player he sold. as much as id like him to return henry will never play for arsenal again.
secondly like a lot of people on here you claim podolski will be signed. just thought u may like to know that podolski HAS already signed a pre contract with cologne. this happened in january.
i would love to see arsenal the most active in the transfer window but due to the fact we aint got much money to spend it won't happen.
i do think we will sign 2 players at the most. sakho from psg or lescott as centre back and a defensive midfielder. yaya toure would be ideal but prob too much for us to get.
paul the gooner
  Arsenal will sign
Henri Saivet (Bordaux)
Georgino Widlajum (Feyennord)(i apoligise for bad english)
Mammo Sakho (PSV)
Joe Hart (Man City)
Gareth Barry (Villa)
Benitez is looking at croatian darijo srna, who can play RB,RM,LM from Shakhtar, with fee in the region of 12–15m. In preparation for their expected promotion to the PL, Steve Morgan will spend to make sure they stay there.David N'Gog or Kristian Nemeth, and Paul Anderson will be joining Wolves on loan from Liverpool next season. Wolves will re–sign Seyi Olifinjana from Stoke for 2.5m, whilst also bidding for Elliot Ward(1.25m), Robert Huth(3.5m), Damien Duff(2.5m), Mark Viduka(free), Marlon Harewood(2m), Nicky Butt(1.5m), Kieron Dyer(3.75m), Barry Ferguson(4.5m), Aron Gunnarrson(5.5m), Nicky Shorey(2.5m) and Matty Fryatt(4m).
Lee martin (man utd) to team up with former team mate chris eagles at burnley next season this is more or less a done deal burnley will pay 1million
Obviously I am aware of how ropey this sounds, but I heard this from a taxi driver who says that he is mates with someone from security at Liverpool. Anyway according to his mate arrangements have been made for a meeting to be attended at the club by 12 Arab businessmen (he didn't specify whether they were from Kuwait, Dubai or elsewhere) and obviously he is not privvy to the agenda of any meeting. It may be a load of old nonsense, but given the current financial climate and the recent reports regarding the finances of both Hicks and Gillete, I don't think it would come as a great suprise to anyone if the yanks sold up especially with the repayment date for their loans looming. I'm a Liverpool fan, but I like to think I am something of a realist and I have to say I'm embarrassed by the eagerness of some to bring the Arabs on board, it is by no means certain that they will have the interests of the supporters in mind anymore than the current owners. xxx We remember the 96 xxx
