I'm the lad who told you about Baines joining Everton about a week ago, unfortunately that was not posted. My Dad was told by Bainses Dad two weeks ago and now the deal is finalised for £5 million. I can also confirm that LFC where going to bid for Drenthe from Feyenoord but for the clash in Sundays match with Drenthe and Alonso, Rafa still might consider bidding for Drenthe but the player does not think he will settle in. Heinze will join later this week as Fergie does not want the transfer to trouble the high courts he will finally sell Heinze, but he may delay the deal so the Argentine is unable to play vs Chelsea.

To the person who said Drenthe is coming to Liverpool, it's not possible. Rafa was dissapointed with his behavior during the match on Sunday, and he knows he will dissapoint a lot of fans if he buys him. Though Quarsema and Henize are both coming In: )

Nufc to sign draGutinovic by next week, Dyer will still leave probably for £1 million more than whu first offered (£6 million all upfront, NUfc only agreed to £5 million+ add ones becuase they thought he would never pass the medical and they would then have to lower the asking price to tempt whu to buy him). there will probably be one maybe two more as yet unamed low cost mf signings, Diop is a possibility but do not rule out a more creative attacking talent, possible Sam could still move for long term target Derek boateng, the ghanian international has been followed by big Sam for ages since his Bolton days and boateng was tipped to be sams first NUfc signing for around £1 million.

Did you see the tackle on Stevie G by Drenthe? there is no way that guy is coming to Anfield. Queresma is a certainty, with Hienze or Chielleni. And one last surprise. Rafa will bid big on an as yet unnamed target, I can assure you this person's name has yet to be mentioned. And to everyone who keeps saying that Harry is going, Rafa has one of his prized attacking weapons back and fit, he is not going to sell him now.

Rafa Benitez is in a Dilemma. He very much wants to add Royston Drenthe to his new look Liverpool side. However, Liverpool already have Kewell, Babel and Leto as left midfielders as well as Benayoun, Riise and Aurelio who can also play there. Benitez is looking for a quick solution.

He may well loan out Sebastian Leto to a Spanish side for a season and then sign Drenthe.

One other option would be to sign Drenthe and loan him out to an English club or to sign Drenthe for a contract for next Summer.

Benitez still does not trust Kewell's injuries and next Summer may be the season that Kewell leaves.

Rafa is also looking into the possibility of Signing Jesus Navas. A stumbling block however is that Navas gets homesick and may well refuse to fly in Champions League games. He would also cost around £12 million and Liverpool already have Pennant and Benayoun on the right.

Lastly, Liverpool are to make a bid for Vincent Kompany and Acuna from Cadiz. Acuna will cost around £6 million and Kompany around £9 million.

However, target number 1 remains to be Gabriel Heinze.

Danny Murphy will sign a two year contract at Cardiff for an undisclosed fee and Tottenham' last signing Davies is moving in a £7.5 million deal this week.

Mido and Ghaly out, but AG staying.

Jim Magilton still deserately wants franny Jeffers to come to Ipswich and meet him halfway by dropping his wage demands.

  Celtic

after the abuse naismith got from the hoops fans yesterday do not expect to see him signing. instead the gordfather will turn his attentions to Robbie Keane who would be out of favour at Tottenham with the arrival of bent. Tottenham would be likely to depart with the paddy as they also have Defoe.

To the person who said Wenger is looking to sign Sneijder. and Sneijder had been asking rvp about life in London?. it's all incorrect.

Sneijder is 100 percent staying at Ajax for atleast one more year. then it's of to Italy or Spain. not England. he has said many times he does not like Arsenal. and. the thing at the press conference (i was there) where he said next year we might be at the same team. was a joke. he laughed ALOT when it was said. so dream on. super Wes is not going to Arsenal

Now that the transfer ban has been lifted, Denis Wise will be making moves into the transfer market, no suprises in Flo, Heath, Thompson, Weston, Constantine and Prutton.

One other who will be coming to Elland Rd is Vittese Arnhem forward, Freddy Benson. Wise needs his fire power to get the goals and turn around the 15 point deficit.

Also Casper Ankergren to return.

Kenny Miller is being touted as a £2.5 million target for Everton.

Alan Curbishley will now bid £10 million for Shaun Wright–Phillips upon supposedly missing out on Keiron Dyer or pulling out of a deal.

Aussie Mark Bresciano to join Manchester City by the end of the week. This will be City's last signing before the season begins. Liverpool FC will bring in Quaresma and Heinze by the end of the transfer period. Alves is still a possibility.

Arsene knows Arsene Wenger is looking at a portugese international but it is not Quaresma it is Joao Moutinho (sporting lisbon).

Luka Modric has pleaded with Dinamo Zagreb to allow him to join Arsenal now instead of Jan or next Summer, if they turn down his request Arsene Wenger will move for Wesley Sneijder (Ajax) or Joao Moutinho?

Lassana Diarra will seek advice from his advisors if Chelsea block his move to Arsenal as it could be restriction of trade.

Sunderland will sign Craig Gordon and Mido during the week + Andy Cole will join on a free.

Alan Pardew is not to sign a new player before Saturday's game v Scunthorpe. Although a new forward is the priority for the Charlton manager after £2.5 million signing Luke Varney was injured, leaving up–front looking depleted, Andrew Cole's decision to choose Sunderland and the failure to complete a deal for MK Don's McLeod has left "Pards" with little option to go into the campaign without his desired new forward.

Moreover his wish for a new CM to compete with Holland, Ambrose, Semedo and Sinclair has also proved fruitless as the possibility of seeing Mullins reunite with the former the Hammers manager is looking increasingly unlikely due to the Hammers' own injury concerns, especially around ex–Charlton player Scott Parker.

first rumour I ever posted about Baines was true so no rubbish from me, but a guy I know who lets houses in the Merseyside area has been asked to look for 2 close together for 2 argintinian ints, Riquelme and Gonzalez for Everton same source as before. coyb
