Dale Lindley is a promising full–back who's been on trial from South African side Kaizer Chiefs for the last two weeks. Manager Alan Irvine is pleased with Lindley's training regime which has got him in shape following a recent gut injury.

Also joining is former academy product Tony Crane, who has also been training with the club recently.

Ashley Cole has hinted a move to Real Madrid could be on the cards. The chelsea starlet said in a recent report that he thought very highly of Jose and would consider playing for the special one again. 'Jose was a great manager for us at Chelsea and I learnt a lot from him, I have heard he is interested in approaching chelsea about myself and – would be open for negotiation. But first I have a world cup to concentrate on, so if anything does happen it won't be until after the finals'. Interesting one to watch

Chris Cohen is on his way to Bolton. The deal was done before the play offs. It will be announced once Chris returns from his holiday and completes a medical.

I was told by somebody that knows his father and i've had it confirmed by Forest's player liason officer.

To the person that asked this:

"I have just read the Koptalk rumour about the new (possible) owner. Is Koptalk a reliable source?

Someone help??!!"

Do yourself and everyone else a favour and stay away from that site. It's run by a conman who has no knowledge of the goings–on at LFC but convinces people that he does and charges them for the lies he feeds them.

Apologies to the people that run this site if this is too far off topic, but it's important that people don't get scammed by dud websites.

" RANGERS TAX EVASION "
These are the facts , rangers recieved a tax penalty notice for 15million / 24 million is owed because of off–shore payments and HMRC want 12 million interest over a 10 year period this totals, 51 million more than their publicised bank debt. These figures will make the scottish media in the next day or so! The MIH GROUP are not responsible for this debt / murrays accounts don't mention any payments for players wages/bonuses. All this debt is rangers fc and mr bain knows this. jrcentre1

NOTTINGHAM FOREST..

No names can be given, but the source is from a player who was at a party and was overheard talking to one of his friends, so take it as you wish.

Forest have rejected an £875k bid for James Perch from Ipswich, Billy Davies has reported said he is not selling this summer, merely adding to his already thin squad.

Forest have also placed 3 bids with clubs for a LB, CM & GK, the talks for the LB are in the advanced stages and hope to have this tied up within the next few days. The GK talks are still in the early stages but are looking promising, the CM is where the problems are as again there is the problem of fluctuating intrest rates against the £, and finding the level ground on where to agree is slow progress.
However, Forest are pretty sure that a deal will be reached in the very near future.

Watch this space as they say.

I have no idea if this true or not, but just read on another website that Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and emir of Abu Dhabi. Is the man who is trying to buy Liverpool Football Club. He is the Manchester City owner's richer brother only worth 19 billion. Does anybody else have any information about if this ture or not ?

07 Jun 2010 22:52:43
Lads all the gerard rumours are shte. Do you think they could keep it under raps, ask Lord Triesman (he fcked our world cup bid). Updates from the club are that Gerard is pretty much done and dusted to Real. Obviously things can change but at the moment he is going. Sad to say but good luck to him, great servant. Also you have my word we are no nearer to a takeover. Also i will have more news on the new manager tomorrow or Wednesday. Daglish really fancies it but O Neil is favourite. Macca

Reports suggest that Arsenal have held talks with with Juventus and have agreed an undisclosed fee for Buffon. A medical will take place after the world cup. More to come soon.

Didi Hamann has just taken on a player manager role at MK Dons. Sami Hyypia has 1 year left on his contract at Bayer Levurkesun and will play this out before returning to Liverpool in some capacity. Michael Owen is only 29 so he still has a good 3–4 years left of playing in him and is not welcome at Anfield anyway. There are no new owners, please don't make things up for the purpose of this website

I am in no way saying this is true.

But a friend who works for the private runway in Liverpool's John Lennon airport has came up with some interesting news.

Apparently there's a flight booked in from Abu Dhabi to Liverpool sometime within the next two weeks.

He also told me Benetiz had a flight booked to Inter a long time ago.. I didn't believe him.

Sooo who knows? Hopefully he's telling the truth and LFC will be on it's way up again!

Ipswich have increased their offer to Cardiff City for Michael Chopra to £4 million. This could be the magic number, as Cardiff wants to recoup their outlay for Chopra. Looking like this one is getting near completion. Chopra and Wickham = Up the Town!

Stoke will sign Nigerian forward Stephen Makinwa from Lazio for an initial £1.5m once they have offloaded Beattie (Forest) and Kitson (Bristol City).

Stoke also have a deal in principle with Portsmouth for Kevin Prince–Boateng, with the player deciding between the Potters and Bolton.

Roman Pavlyuchenko will also join Stoke on an initial loan deal from Spurs but only provided Crouch and Defoe return from South Africa with no injuries.

Expect some buisness to be done at rangers when martin bain an walter smith return from las vegas.
Rumour is that gers are now trying to hijack the bullard deal as it looks like he will be available on a free and he is good mates with lee mcculloch.

Rangers will sign in the region of 5 players 4 spl quality players and one big name to keep the fans happy after loseing boyd and novo and the prospect of loseing bougherra and mc gregor.

07 Jun 2010 21:27:25
Sir Alex Ferguson has major transfer funds and major transfer targets although who knows who he will sign. There are of course rumours, the main are as follows:

David Silva – Valencia – £23 million.
Marek Hamsik – Napoli – £23 million.
Stevan Jovetic – Fioratina – £20 million.

According to these it therefore seems a goalscorer to play behind Rooney will be signed although who knows who.

SWFC

Jon Ostembor of my hometown club southampton fc has been linked with SWFC.

Great right back perfect replacment for t'old Frankie

Jon parkin ( Cant see, too good for L1 )

Lukas Juitwickz ? everton lad, top player look on you tube, Irvine good mates with Moyes, would be an ideal replacement for Tudgay ( who for the record is rubbish .. )

Turner of everton.. let grant go he deserves a team in championship, we had turner the other year and was fab, great young keeper, could see it!

Sedgwick DONE DEAL!! great winger SWFC fan.

Clinton morrison. NO deal.. too good for L1

Adam Le Fondre, possible, weather he iwll sign and not go to champ i dunno, but would be great.

Herd something about micheal symes of Accrington. did well last year, i belive he would come and would jump at chance or i would love to see david connerly of southampton. nippy experienced striker, contract talk sown south breaking down and brings experience.

Would be 10000% times better than Frannie.

SIGN HIM UP IRVINE

Come on you blue and white army..

I have just seen ricardo fuller not to far from Villa Park.

have u really?
He is on Holiday at the moment like 90% of the stoke team and seeing as he goes back to Jamaica every holiday to see his family i doubt he was anywhere near Birmingham never mind Villa Park!

Jenas won't come(shame really) cause he'll think he is bigger than Stoke.

Ledley is very close to coming his agent has been his voice while he has been away in Portugal i believe.

Remember that name. It will be cursed in Manchester and London very soon.

Different story for half of Liverpool though.

And its not the blue side that will be celebrating!"

I'm not saying you're wrong, as the rumour of him making a bid has been going around or some time, but with regards this latest development, any chance of a source?

Please say you're not basing it on what's been posted on KopTalk

Purchased a house in Sotogrande around 3 years ago and the guy we bought it from was a Stock Broker from London well he moed to The Middle East He says the story has been doing the rounds over there aswell as in London. Il read Koptalk now, Is it accurate or not?

Nicky Bailey is reportedly delighted with the interest being shown in him by Southampton and Norwich. However despite the lure of Championship football next season Bailey could be leaning towards Southampton more because he feels another season in League 1 could really benefit him and he would know Southampton are likely to be promoted next season so could move the league one club. He would also be re–united with Alan Pardew although Pardew was not in charge for long whilst Bailey was at the club.

Robert Snodgrass views this as the best way of moving his career forwards and a big step forwards from Leeds. To the editor..well done for spotting the copying of info from KopTalk..! The info I posted earlier is correct. Anybody thinking The two Americans will be at LFC by the start of the new season are wrong. Think about it. A Chelsea fan brought in as Chairman, working 1 day a week..A manager sacked whilst owners trying to sell the club? come on.!

the new owner has done this, mark my words, LFC is in new hands, Marcello Lippi will be the new manager. Indeed, an italian paper carried the story that "LIPPI IS IDEAL FOR LIVERPOOL'S NEW OWNER."
So if Torres, Gerrard, Masch want to leave, let them. I am sure they will be glad to miss out on a new manager, new stadium and new owner.

Mrs Broughton

I was correct with Paynter and knew about Kasper 48 hours ahead of the announcement.

Leeds will decline the Forest offer for Snodgrass but Ken will listen to an offer above 1.5M

Ian Hart will be offered a 12 month deal only and may opt for a more long term deal from other Championship clubs. Shane Lowry will be next with a 500K offer on the table.

07 Jun 2010 19:55:28
Swindon Town are set to sign Strikers Adam La Fondre from Rotherham United on a two year deal for £500,000 to replace Billy Paynter who has signed for Leeds United as well as Lee Trundle on a one year deal should he not agree a contract with Swansea City. It is expected that Swindon will partner La Fondre with Charlie Austin up front next season as Town look to replace Paynter's 29 goal haul from this season.

Swindon also made an enquiry about bringing Simon Cox back on a 6 month loan however the request was turned down after newly promoted West Bromwich Albion and Cox both said they would prefer the player to go on loan to a Championship club if he went out on loan with Preston North End now the favourites to take Cox on loan.

Im a PNE fan and that's 1st ive heard bout cox but ok adam le fondre is being chased by PNE and Barnsley for 1m so i don't know about that one and charlie austin could leave as ive heard many RUMOURS of him coming to PNE but as i saids their only rumours but the le fondre one has been in 5 or 6 papers

Anyone else see him at Hillsborough?

And Leeds can bloody have Spurr. He's a complete dimwit that messes on the ball, has no passion i'm afraid and lacks any real skill. I've seen worse at Hillsborough (says it all, really), but for the money we'd get for him Irvine should CASH IN NOW!!

Carroll is going nowhere, pancrate leaving to le havre of possibly sheffield wednesday. but the biggest news of all is that newcastle have placed a 3m big for nottingham forest's Chris Cohen and also have placed a 5m bid for Blaise Matuidi!

– Newcastle won't be paying £5m or even £3m for players this summer. We'll be getting frees or loans. We have no money. No capital outlay means what it sounds like. Nothing. However, if Jonas goes to Athletico for the rumoured £8m then yeah Cohen and other cheapish deals could happen, but even then I think a fair percentage of raised cash will go into servicing the over–draft or the £111m Mike Ashley will want back sometime.

P.s. I hope Jonas doesn't leave even for the cash, we should be looking to keep key players that will be better settled for us now.

Glasgow Celtic Football Club News

• Mr Dennis O'Brien (An Irish billionaire) is currently negotiating with Mr Dermot Desmond about buying out his shares. Big Investment expected!
• Experienced 'mentor' will be John Robertson (Martin O'Neil's Assistant) chosen by Lennon as they worked together at Leicester and Celtic.
• The reason it is taking so long is because if Celtic appoint a new manager before a year is up they have to pay Mowbray compensation.
• As reported Lennon is opting for experienced leaders to steady the ship before building a team for the future.

Expect all to come together on June 17th!

Anyway regardless of that im just goign to reiterate that joe cole rumour is 100% true.
To the guy who said about the medical you are half right.
he had an initial medical and signed an agreement however, arsenal sign players subject to a full medical and work permit being granted (you may remember the problems with Eduardo) so whilst the deal has been signed meaning he cannot sign for anyone else the deal is still subject to a full medical.
to any one that bothers to question me im aware the puncutuation is awful but after doing 10 hours in a office today im really tired of writing perfectly.

Berbatov is wanted by Juventus, AC Milan, Wolfsburg and Bayern Munich. SAF is hoping for a bidding war to take the price up to in excess of £20 Million. Anything further would be a bonus.

SAF has identified possible replacements, but wants someone who will fit Uniteds style of play as this has been the problem with Berbatov and Veron before him.

The main contenders are Luis Suarez and Gonzalo Higuain. Luis Suarez is the most likely option although a possible Higain + Van da Vaart for Vidic + cash deal remains a possibility

Fraser Forster will sign shortly as well.

Manchester City can offer the wages but are unable to offer football at the highest level, and with their squad size, unable to offer a guarantee of a start every game. Spurs will be more likely to offer a first eleven start but I would expect them to baulk at the wages.

I still think that it is most likely that a solution will be reached at Chelsea and the player will sign on for another three years.

Sharke

all so wrong fella, joe's 1st choice WAS with harry but it was harry that could not guarantee him a starting birth especially with bale on the left and modric in the middle and who can also play out wide hence the tearful joey cole's meeting with his agent

South Manchester Red – if the Gerrard rumour you speak about is the one that was doing the rounds on Merseyside weeks ago then I am afraid you are wrong and it is total boocks. In fact, Gerrard's wife came out in the press and rubbished it saying Stevie G and herself have been getting on together better than ever before. Unfortunately, it seems a new rumour about Gerrard's private life surfaces every few months on Merseyside and the Blueshte fans love to sing about these rumours at their games. Just use your common sense, if there was any real dirt to dish on Gerrard now do you honestly think that say, a Sun journalist would wait till after the World Cup – NO CHANCE! Journalists have already done their best to improve their papers circulation figures by exposing Cole's and Terry's indiscretions, do you honestly think they would lay off Gerrard – no chance! They would cut him to pieces with every word! Most of Fleet Street hate Liverpool FC and if they could get a juicy story they would publish and be damned – they don't care if it upsets Gerrard's form – they just want a pat on the back from their Editor and a pay rise!! Most of them are total guttersnipes with the morals of a sewer rat.

cant really see that happening and even if you were fitting a new ''entertainment system'' there would have been no players to ask and im sure the staff at elland road wouldn't be walking around shouting it out and telling every tom dick and harry when it hasn't been publically announced. Also i wouldn't want Earnshaw he's crap like Sharp, theres far better strikers that we could afford and get than him. A move to forrest would be a move sideways if not backwards for snoddy and he's also trying to persuade McArthur to join Leeds so i doubt this rumour is Kosha.

" Ken Bates has opened his wallet finally and announcement will be made this evening. 1.5 million plus, this can only mean HOOPER or McARTHUR."

Is this true, can't see it being announced to day, but i hope it is. Be nice to see Bates pay someone for a change rather than me paying him every season.

Is aload of crap, like Simon would let Snodgrass go theres no chance only if we getting like 2mil for him he's not going no where.
If this is true i think we should get Ambrose for a replacment for Snoddy and then Earnshaw will be Beckfords replacement.

Liverpool will be sold to DIC before the end of the year. Negotiations have actually been ongoing for nearly 2 years but with Liverpool finishing 2nd in the league back then, it was thought the price was over–inflated. With the club now for sale and a poor finish to last season, a deal is now much more viable.
Both Gerrard and Torres will stay at least another season.
Mascherano may be allowed to leave but whoever buys him will have to pay an enormous fee as Liverpool only stand to recieve around 25% and would want a decent amount to go to themselves.

Regarding Joe Cole, the whole thing stinks of Harry Redknapp, Cole wants to stay in London, he knows and respects Harry from his West Ham days, got champions league football and he's free.

///Listen here, this info is so false i don't know where to start. Firstly Tom Kennedy has signed a deal for Doncaster, No one can Hijack a deal once it is complete, He has had a medical, passed and signed a 3yr contract, he officially joins on july1.

Secondly lets just play the game for a second and say your info is good, How can the mighty Sheff Utd broker a deal for a player that isn't theirs, Not only isn't he thiers but he is a FREE AGENT. The argument is flawed at that point, what your saying is Sheff Utd have offered Billy sharp to Doncaster for £750k if Doncaster allow Sheff Utd free reign on a free transfer player?? Lets assume Doncaster allow Sheff Utd to sign Kennedy, and Burnley or Leeds or Bolton then suddenly bid £3m for Billy Sharp, are you seriously expecting us all to beleive that Blackwell will honour his promise and sell Sharp for £750k?? No i thought not either.

Deals like this only exist when 2 players play for the same club or occasionally when both have fees involved,

On to your Brett Pittman offer, £350k for a league 2 striker? Have a word with yourself, Doncaster's RECORD transfer fee is £300k at present so can you honestly tell me that the board and SOD are suddenly going to be wreckless with thier cash?? No i thought not.

On to Joe Garner, I reported this on may 26th that Doncaster are interested in him, that is as far as it goes at present, The fee is likely to be around £150k which is the sticking point as Forest paid £1.1m for him (but i think his contract runs out next summer and doesn't play often) so a loan could be on the cards.

The Mighty Mogul

Firstly, have you ever heard of a thing called a 'gentleman's agreement'? Obviously not because you would have understood what the post is about. It happens all the time in football especially in spain where 2 clubs agree deals with each other dependent on the targets they are after.
Weather Kennedy be a free agent or not it doesn't affect this type of deal.

Secondly, Yes on the billy sharp thing i do think sheffield united would and have offered us that type of deal. Why? Because Leeds and Burnley can't afford Billy for the price sheff united want, which is 1.2 million not 3.

Thirdly on Brett Pitman. 350K for a top league 2 striker who is 6ft and only 22 years old is not a lot of money. Not even for Rovers who by the way have there biggest ever transfer budget. Pitman has scored just as many goals as Le Fondre at Rotherham and people are on about paying 1 million plus for him

TOON NEWS (or perhaps lack of..)

As the board have said very little money will be spent.

Expect a couple of loanees (Players like Danny Simpson, ie Man U rejects, perhaps Mahamdou Diouf or whatever he's called. They won't all be as good as Simpson though), if we're lucky perhaps some decent free agents, eg Boyd (supposedly, but probably unlikely). The word on the street is that Fabrice Pancake is going to come back, to act as cover.

Laurent Robert wants to come back (and tried to get Pancakes to put in a good word last year), so its possible if one comes the other will too.

Slow summer ahead, lads.

The Badger.

– Joe Cole – Free

Arsenal are going to sell:

William Gallas – Free
Philippe Senderos – Free
Mikael Silvestre – Free
Tomas Rosicky – £6,000,000

Not Much. Only a £4M net loss!

Eden Hazard is not one of Mourinho's targets, so we can safely get him in January or next Summer.

Just to update people on the Tommy Spurr deal to Leeds that i brought to this site on last week, and to tell the person that said he isn't leaving Sheff Wed there is 99% chance he will not be there not be there next season. This due to the fact he wants to play championship football also he fell out with the club last year over pay and ended up sacking his agent. His new agent his dad, who is my source after i spoke to him today.

He told me that he had been intouch with Leeds over a possible move to the club to let them know he wants out and they are understood to be thinking about making an offer for the player as long as the price they want isn't stupid.

OLD FIRM RUMOURS

to start with Rangers.. Ellis is a no go hence why Rangers have already started planning next season without any consideration about Ellis or any takeover to that matter.. Rangers will definatly be using money this summer

Ins: Conway, Nugent, Briand and Johnny Tuffey

Outs: Bougherra, Boyd, Novo, Smith, Beasley and McGregor

Now to the east end of glasgow.. Neil Lennon to be appointed Manager before the end of the summer.. delay in the appoint ment is due to the money they owe Tony Mowbray and Staff and they are struggling to find after Robbie Keane's Loan and Celtic are hoping Mowbray takes over at another club.. its nothing to do with a mentor.. no mentor will be signed.. its just Peter Lawell and John Reid feeding the media with false information.. Mowbray is the reason for No Manager

Leeds have offered a two week trial to romario campbell (harbour view FC – jamaica) although hes not expected to feature in the main pre season friendlies (july). He, alongside others from south america are attending a training camp to assess whether they are good enough to be part of the first team. Heard a couple of rumours on possible Leeds United targets, after missing out on a couple of targets grayson and bates have apparnatly set their sights on the following:

Paul Connolly – Derby – free
Darel Russell – Norwich – free
Fitz Hall – QPR – £300k
Rob Hulse – Derby – £650k
James McAthur –Hamilton £1.1 Million

Also the Alan Smith thing just won't go away, as a Leeds fan I would like to see Smithy return however I don't see it myself.

Finally just a quick couple of points, firstly Gary Hooper will not be joining us he will most likely be on his way to Celtic. Now to all Doncaster Rovers fans all 200 of you, please, please, please stop banging on about Billy Sharp he may be somewhat of a mega star to you lot, but we simply don't care if we sign him or not, so stop bringing us into your war of words with the burnley fans.

this leads me to believe it is the same person who keeps posting the same rumour to make it look valid

as for rumours: expect Cardozo to move to spain italy or england (in that order), he is my tip to have a stand out world cup

and as for joe cole, he has stated before that he doesn't want to leave london as he has just had a baby and doesn't want to relocate he will sign for Arsenal after WC, its all agreed subject to a medical – if Arsenal signed him now and he went to the WC and done a cruciate that good bit of business wouldn't look to clever then would it? which is why it won't be confirmed till after WC

DRFC News

Tom kennedy's proposed 3 year deal to Doncaster rovers is in doubt as he received a much higher contract offer from sheffield United at the 11th hour. He has been given until the end of the week to decide.

Billy Sharps on–off scenario with Doncaster looks close to being concluded, but with a twist. Doncaster have been told by Sheff Utd thy can have Billy for 750k outright IF they retract there contract offer for Tom Kennedy. If Rovers disagree then they will need to pay closer to 1.2 million for Sharp.

Rovers are likely to disagree with Sheff Utds proposal.
If Sharp is a no go, Sean O 'Driscoll will go for Nottingham Forest frontman Joe Garner.

A 350k deal has already been agreed for Bournemouth Striker Brett Pitman and that deal will be concluded early next week.

R.T.I.D

Regarding arsenal football club,
Quite alot of transfer activity going on compared to last year at the same time, but ot as much as would be suggested on this site. people that are nowhere near signing are richards cahill or hazard, koscienly is fairly likely to be signed as he has declared he wants the move to arsenal but don't expecy arsenal to bid more than 8m the other transfer which is around the same stage of negotiation is schwarzer, he has declared he wants to play with a big team before retirement and arsenal need someone to last 2–3 seasons, in my opinion more likely than koscienly, the only other possible transfer at the moment is joe cole and that won't be done until after the world cup, the fabregas saga is anyones guess, noone not wenger not guardiola not cesc himself knows it will drag on and don't expect gael to join him if he leaves. one thing is for certain gourcuff is nowhere near signing and is less than 50/50 to happen if cesc does leave

To the person who wrote this (and every other MU 'fan'): I work in liaison with Manchester Uniteds youth academy –

Yes, the club has some money available for transfers, maybe even as much as you suggest (but my understanding is that it won't be half that without 'significant player(s) sales) – but do you seriously think that reflects on the club's financial well being?

You say the club's "in a bit of debt" – I don't think people really understand the significance of these PIK loans that are going to convert their interest rate soon (to 16.25%). These loans are unsecured, but to reflect the greater risk they are just like standard property bridgeing loans in that the interest rolls up and you effectively pay interest on interest.

Do the maths and you'll soon see that whilst no interest is payable during its life, it needs to be settled on maturity and that's okay when people are throwing money around like Wayne Rooney in a knocking shop (as they were 3 years ago), but now it would be easier for the spud faced nipper to get laid in a nunnery than for the Glazers to refinance £200m on any terms.

MU as a brand and income stream is solid, the Glazers worked out that people will stand to be fleeced and they really screwed AIG etc as sponsors, but you also have to figure in their devalued property portfolio (in the US) that their entire wealth is based is worth less (in many cases) than the mortgages on them and those mortgages are actually structured to benefit from income from their rental. 4 of their shopping malls are either close to, or are already, bankrupt so money coming in. MU is a great business, but not even it can finance the rest of their empire.

Gone are the days of paying £30m for Rio Ferdinand just to rub Leeds's noses in it, hello to selling off the silver and then just wait to see how long it is before silverware becomes hard to come by. No major transfers in (by the club's usual standards) unless there is significant cash in by players going OUT.

That's the story on (Threadneedle) street anyway.

07 Jun 2010 15:53:00
To all the deluded Arsenal fans that keep writing their starting 11, you are all going to look so stupid at the end of the transfer window. You can keep writing what players you would like but it just won't happen. You should know AW and he won't spend big even if fabregas leaves which looks very likely. I understand your frustration but nothing is going to change by filling this site with utter rubbish. This site is for transfer rumours NOT transfer dreams.

A few thoughts on possible transfers that "make sence"

Yakubu to West Ham – Grant stated he thinks the Yak is one of the best stikers around

Ricardo Queresma to Aston Villa – MON loves a player with something to prove, so long as it's within wage structure this could be a real good move for both parties

Robbie Keane to Man United, (bear with me), if MO leaves, remember how good Keane and Berba were together

Michael Owen to Everton – purely to finish his career in the north west

Javier Mascherano to somewhere abroad – probably for roughly £20m, considering LFC's debt / his desire to leave

Albert Riera to Spanish club – see reasons above

Stephen Pienaar to Man U, possibly for a player exchange

Joe Cole to Liverpool, purely cos he's more likely to get a game more often, he must be rich enough by now not to worry too much about money, although saying that, perhaps Chelsea may give it one more try

Chellini to either Chelsea, Man C or Real – basically one of the best defenders on the planet

Gary Cahill to Arsenal, with the lure of Wiltshire on Loan again. Also Kjaer seems such an Arsenal Player, as well as Hazard

Z'zogbia to Spurs, probably for an exchange of some players

Stephen Ireland to a top 7 side, if no takers, Sunderland may be waiting in the wings

What a coincidence, I am waiting for Arsenal to bid for me, so I can go to the club I support..

Now some serious stuff. Arshavin is going nowhere, he was prepared to fund the move from Zenit himself so that he could join us. He'll be around at least one more season, that is if we don't win anything next season.
GK – Schwarzer will come only if AW cannot sign Buffon (very unlikely), or Gordon or Hart (quite unlikely). His preferred option is NOT a short–term signing, stop ranting about how he is confident in Sczecny/ Mannone, because he is not.

There is a lot of work going on behind the scenes at nottingham forest. Despite few rumours hitting the tabloids as many as 6 new players could join the club this summer.

Forest are expected to keep any anouncements quiet until after July 1st. Some at the request of the other club.

I am told Forest have had two bids accepted so far and others they are waiting to hear back on.

Club captain Nicky Bailey of Charlton is one of those. The fee is around £1million (with mcgugan loaned out to them until Jan).

A counter offer has been made in a bid to sign peter whittingham with the welsh club interested in a straight swap for Rob earnshaw to replace Ipswich bound Chopra. Forest are considering this as a deal for Boyd seems to be difficult because of peterboroughs demands of £2mil (forest offered £1mill plus bonus's depending on promotion and appearances and goals).

Forest have agreed a deal in principle over the contract of James Beattie however they are yet to agree a price for the player with Stoke.

There has been a lot of interest in Kelvin Wilson but forest have made a move to make him one of the best earners at the club on the provision that if a prem team comes in with an offer of £5mil he can talk.

A deal for Darren Prattley is in the balance although Darren wants to join up with his best bud chris cohen at the centre of the Nottingham Forest midfield.

Other players of interest come from the continent with up to 6 norweigens being closely monitered 4 playing in norway and two for premiership clubs.

Arsenal new £8m bid for Lorient's Laurent koscielny is a straight money offer, no clauses and no players loan or permanent, the player has verbally agreed a 4–year deal with the Gunners, who hope to complete the deal before Wenger flies out for the World Cup (Wednesday evening)

Billy Sharp has agreed in principle with Burnley a three year contract, Burnley will pay Sheffield United £1.5 million. The deal will only go through if Sharp passes a medical once he has returned to England.

Hes already signed for burnley so both of you are wrong slightly

If he has already signed for Burnley then Someone needs to tell Billy himself because he doesn't know.
Seen as though you seem to be ITK though can you tell me what day he signed, what the fee involved and what wages he is on, also a link to a website would be good.
I look forward to your responce (if you don't dissapear into oblivion like a child that is)

To the guy who has asked about wolves and steven hunt. As i posted last week mick wans both bullard and hunt for a maximum of 5mil due to age and bullards fitness. If hull do not accept that then expect mick to go else where for a bit of experience but doesn't want to pay over the odds. Aarron mokoena will come in and liam lawrence is still a possiblity. Julian speroni is a target but wolves don't want to pay more than 1mil. Katlego mphela a south african striker has been mentioned. Expect 5 more signings and 2 or 3 more to leave.

Not saying he is going to Rangers (because I don't think he will)..but he hasn't signed for anyone yet. That club announced that he signed for them, only for Bresc to deny it a few days later. He said he was in discussions because his old coach is there, but wants to keep going in Europe for a couple more years. Guess it depends on how he goes at the WC.

Charlton who are 40 mill in debt have until end of July to sell Nicky bailey for £1 mill..if they don't raise that amount they will go into admin.

Good news about that would be the 3 groups who have been waiting for Charlton to go into admin, they include former employee Peter Varney and Alan Curbishley's brother backed by a consortuim from the music world..

NUFC RUMOURS!!

Kris Boyd 90% guaranteed, its either us or a big money move to Turkey. The move south of the border will cause minimal disruption to his family life so looking the most likely!!

Wilshere on loan
Van Aaholt on loan

Supposedly, S Wright–Phillips is also a target although this has been rejected by Hughton himself. My source tells me a loan deal has been mentioned in return for 1st option on Vukikic (sic). Man U also have a similar tactic, with a possible loan deal for either Fabio, Evans or at an extreme long shot, Carrick!!

Don't think either SWP of Carrick will happen, but its what I'm being told.. watch this space!!

Sharp wants to move to a club that will play him and will puch for promotion, he is torn between Burnley and Leeds, he liked his time at Doncaster, but does not see them as a promotion pushing team, he won't be making a decision until a week after he come home.

/// Your talking rubbish! Billy Sharp has expressed his desire to join Doncaster Rovers, He is not torn between Leeds and Burnley in any way shape or form. He is a massive blades fan and would not Join Leeds and also has witnessed Brian Laws management skills at first hand so doesn't really want to join Burnley either (especially as they already have 4 quality strikers) Burnley fans think the "pull" of Brian Laws will sway Billy Sharp to sign when nothing is further from the truth, Billy had chance to join Sheff Wed last september when Laws was at Sheff Wed and he opted for Doncaster as the football they play is ideal for him.

Doncaster may well sign him up but the info i have is that only Doncaster have made a bid, Burnley and Leeds are yet to bid, The price will not be £1.4m either

expect a decision back end of this week or early next week for the deal to be tied up

___________________________________________

What crap Sharp only liked Doncaster because he was getting games, iv been informed that he will not be joining Doncaster for the reasons that the person stated in the first post, he won't be joining Leeds aswell.

The only thing stopping him joining Burnley is the amount of strikers Burnley have and are rumourd to be signing, he wants first team football and promotion challange, so he is going in talks with Brian Laws next week (who he has no problem working with) about weather he will get the first team football he wants.

He has made it clear that he will not be at Sheff UTD next season.

/// More of the same from you then? Make your mind up will you, First off you say Doncaster can't match Burnleys offer but Billy will sign for Leeds, Then you say my post was full of crap but then proceed to give the exact same reasons for Sharp not signing for Burnley (i.e 4 or 5 strikers)

Clearly Billy loves playing football and he enjoyed it at Doncaster because he played games regularly (as you say) but you put this as though it is a reason for him NOT to join Doncaster!

Then you say 1 thing is clear, He will not be at SHeff Utd next season..wow you are in the know arn't you! No one saw that coming!

Do yourself a favour and give up before you dig yourself ina n even bigger hole, Doncaster are the only club at present to have made a formal offer for Billy Sharp, until someone else makes an offer he will remain at Sheff Utd or join Doncaster so stop with all this he has signed for Burnley/Leeds nonscence

I work in liaison with Manchester Uniteds youth academy and know the club inside out. Some of the rumours regarding Manchester United are just pure speculation. After the BBC Panorama investigation into the club, yes, we are in a lot of debt. But money has been made available to Sir Alex to add to his squad. Ac Milan has contacted United about a potential swap deal involving Klaas–Jan Huntelaar and Dimitar Berbatov. However, United are more keen to sign Marco Boriello. If and it is only an if. If this move happens, Fergie would still have an in–tact transfer budget and word in the dressing room is that he's set to launch a £18million bid for Esteban Cambiasso of Inter Milan. He is a big fan of Owen Hargreaves but he continues to be plagued by injuries. Fergie is also frustrated by how Anderson and Michael Carrick seem to have dipped in form and with Paul Scholes and Giggs nearing retirement, Cambiasso is perceived as the perfect choice to succeed them. United won't be splashing the cash elsewhere i'm afraid.

Barcelona signing Fabregas will all depend on who wins the Presidency of Barcelona. If Sandro Rossell, former vice President to Joan Laporta now bitter enemies' takes over then expect Barcelona to be alot closer to the £60million valuation. If he doesn't then Barcelona will wait till next year to get him as they will not be willing to pay over £40million for a player that was once their own.

Rossell will bring new investments to the club and bids for Fernando Torres will also be high on the Agenda. Barce plan to play Villa and Torres upfront with Messi in the hole.

If Rossell wins elections then Barce will be attempting to sign the following:

Cesc Fabregas (Arsenal) £50 – £57million
Fernando Torres (Liverpool)£55 – £65million
Gael Clichy (Arsenal) £18 – £20million or Michel Bastos (Lyon) £20 – £23million

Some good news for Preston fans:

I know an ex–director of the club, and they are hopeful that there will be a new owner in place before Christmas.

Mr. Hemmings is only staying until the club is sold, and is trying desperately hard to keep the club alive.

There will be players moved on, but there is money available to make some cheap buys from Scotland and Leagues 1 & 2 as well as loan deals from Man Utd.

Hopefully, Man Utd will be sending a team to Preston to play in a pre–season friendly too.

Comrades!

Having spoken to two people 'in the know' (one who works at the club and one who plays golf with senior and ex–players and staff) the truth of the matter regarding Liverpool, Benitez etc will never be known in full but is something along these lines:–

Benitez did not want to go. The club didn't want him to go either but the position he has been put in regarding transfer money – especially that he would not be allowed to have the money raised through sales – meant that 'promises' he has made to the senior players on the back of what he had been led to believe himself, could not be kept. He has left with somewhere in the region of €10M consisting of a one–off immediate payment followed by three further payments over the next three years. The third payment is actually linked to a confidentiality clause and won't be paid if he speaks out before then (yanks covering their backs probably)

The club has not yet been sold but is very very close to being finalised. Until the club is sold there will be no permanent manager but dependent on how long this drags on possibly a temporary one.

As soon as the sale or permanent manager is announced expect the other very very quickly – possibly both at the same time.

Dalglish has been speaking to senior players, former senior players who still hold high regard (Rush, Hansen, Souness etc), senior staff etc. Front runners within the club hierarchy for the permanent slot are – Marco van Basten, Sven Goran–Erikson, Louis van Gaal, Roy Hodgson, Martin O'Neill. However this is if the sale goes through quickly. If it takes until next year it is anyone's guess because there is no guarentee if any of these will be available and there is no guarentee that the condition of the club by then would be attractive. The probable new owners regard Liverpool FC as a tradition not just a business and wish to protect it and therefore are already using Dalglish as an Emissary between themselves, potential managerial candidates, senior players and staff etc to reassure that if they buy they are in for the long–haul and are fully aware of the history and what the club means.

Other than that nobody has any idea. The deparure of Benitez so suddenly has thrown everything into the air.

Keep Believing

From BBC News : "Manchester United £1.1bn in debt"

I've done a considerable amount of work with investment banks over the last 5 years, especially around the area of mortgage backed securities, and the story on the BBC's website confirms a few rumours that have been floating about for a while:

1) The Galzers are spread too thin and in parts paper thin.
2) It is apparent that they have done effectively what Fayed did when he bought Harrods, but without the backlash of a huge and motivated fan base – borrowed and "was economical with the actualitie" when it came to the cash element of their purchase of the Manchester club (it is alledged they didn't have any real money to put down as a 'deposit', so hiked up mortgages on everything they owned, not unlike Terry Vegtebales when he 'bought' Spurts).
3) They (Glazers) cannot really afford to price the Red Knights out of deal, the Red Knights have pulled back because they know they now hold the whip hand and won't over pay, knowing the Glazers will have to sell sooner or later.
4) There are no "Dubai Money Men" waiting in the wings – the only person with any money in Dubai is Sheik Maktoum and he is also strapped up and much more interested in horses. True, DIC (Dubai International Capital, a sovereign fund / private equity business) did try to buy Liverpool a few years ago, but that was meant to have been an 'investment'. We know that isn't how the current owners now see it. DIC is now rumoured to be broken up and any of its assets that can be sol, will be, losses will make even the Arabs's eyes water.

I'm not a MU fan and have nothing to gain from this posting, other than to hopefully stop idiots wasting space here.

My sources : 2 senior bankers at Goldman Sachs and Deutsche Bank.

So how do we all feel about this:

A group from Abu Dhabi buying the club?

The other half of the family that own Man City – starting bid of £490m, including assurances for an immediate start on the stadium and transfer funds.

The Premier League clearing the deal in principal, allowing one family (of parts of a family) to own 2 clubs in the same division.

Purslow and Ayre to stay at the club, Broughton to leave and be replaced by a permanently resident new Chairman.

Using NDA's a new manager is already selected and ready to be installed, working closely with Carragher to transition him into a full time coaching role.

All debts written off and finance for players until the stadium is completed, then the club running on a sustainable business model, similar to Arsenal but with contingent funds available to bring in superstar players.

_____________________________________

Finer details:

Abu Dhabi see the north west as a sporting / football centre of excellence

They see us a potentially higher profile than City and their ability to expand the TV deal further around the globe and combat online streaming.

As the PL are not objecting to the deal, it adds credibility and the PL want further support from organisations that will strengthen the league, in comparison to Spain and Italy.

So, that's it. The news I've been waiting to post – the Chinese thing that I've mentioned before was wrong, I got it wrong. This is all based on my ITK contact, working out of London, in connection with Barclays. I've had firm confirmation from my ITK at RBS that something is definitely happening but they did not confirm Abu Dhabi, they did confirm the amounts and sustainability plan.

Additionally, I have no idea if Amanda Steveley is involved but I do know of a brokerage / fund management group in Mayfair, London having been out to gulf in relation to this deal.

I don't have a firm time scale for the close, I think things seem quite advanced. That's a personal feeling only. Again, personally I think Rafa going was the final hurdle to the deal being done. I think he was asked to leave because he'd indicated the he'd be prepared to talk to Inter, if there was uncertainty about his role at the club. I think it was mutual in every sense of the word and that Inter has been his destination of choice since the Hull match. I do not know who the next manager will be.

Finally, before today I had not seen Abu Dhabi mentioned in any despatches. It's a compelling prospect and I trust my source. Although, I'd be lying if I didn't say I had a gut feeling for Qatar first and Dubai second – I'm not covering my bases, just being honest. So unless anyone knows otherwise, Abu Dhabi looks likely to be it.

I hope I've been as upfront as possible and that Abu Dhabi is clear favourite.

ARSENAL

Arsenal have made a bid of £8mill for Koscilny, if this is turned down Wenger will turn his efforts to others, Upson I would expect!

Wenger will try to keep Clichy from Barca so he can help Gibbs to progress for one more season. (If Fab goes then I would expect no more dealings with Barca, certainly not this season!)

Real Madrid to make an offer of £60mill for Cesc this week, this will be turned down by Cesc and Wenger, however should force a counter bid fron Barca of £50mill which will be excepted by all!

I had predicted that Arsenal would look to Sorenson after they made a bid in Jan, however it now looks like Mark Schwarzer will be the GK target, Mark will hold out untill he knows what Hodgson does (will he go to Liverpool?)

This will leave Wenger a centre back and a left mid field player (poss J Cole, 50/50 us or Man U) to sign to complete the squad.

I have heard D.R.F.C have increased their intial offer from £650,000 to £1.4m to match Burnleys efforts.I live in hope that by some miracle Sharpy decides with his heart & signs for us knowing that us Rovers fans will appreciate his efforts.

I have also heard that Joe Garner has been to the Keepmoat to talk over a £600,000 move & also that Tom Kennedy will sign a 3 year deal at the end of the month.

Jonjo Shelvey was back at the valley today in talks with Phil Parkinson over a deal to be loaned back to Charlton for the coming season. People close to Shelvey are saying "its a dream move but its to soon and jonjo wants another season with Charlton" The deal will very much depend on what assurances Parkinson will give the teenage star of playing. Feeling very under used last season Shelvey will need more football than that and so will Liverpool.

Some Footy News from the Ship in Lytham.

After a nice four ball over the weekend, CALUM DAVIDSON let it be known in the club house that FERGIE JR has been told by the HEMMINGS CLAN that the whole team is going to be put up for sale in July to raise funds.

YOUL MAWENE along with other older players will NOT be offered an exstension to their contracts as TH doesn't want to put off possible investors with a PNE team of aging players on high wages..expect YOUL to jump very quickly for a new 2/3 year contract elsewhere.

Biggest news.ROSS WALLACE has openly said he's had enough of the club after a frank and very tense phonecall with FERGIE Jr while on holiday. ROSS has asked his agent to "chat" with IAN HOLLOWAY about a possible move to the Prem..not 100%, but no joy with BLACKPOOL and he will be off to another club before the start of next season.

SEAN ST.LEDGER has been a done deal for some time and the loan deal with DANNY WELBECK is now dead in the water as he looks to join any team on a loan for next season..NEWCASTLE currently the prefered destination.

Worst news to come out of PNEexpect redundancies before the end of July with the youth set up being hardest hit.

For BLACKPOOL fans..CHARLIE ADAM 100% to stay..as he's in love and will never leave the "Parrish" of Poulton. :)

I live a short distance from Sparrows Lane which is the training ground for both Charlton and Millwall. Over the course of the weekend I saw Chris Powell heading to the Charlton office with a view to discussing a coaching role there aswell as Liverpool starlets Jay Spearing and Andre Wisdom who are likely to be joining on a season long loan as part of the Shelvey deal – I got this from one of the groundsmen (Henry Irving) there as he is a good friend of mine.

In addition to this I saw out of contract Norwich defender Gary Doherty and out of favour Cardiff skipper Mark Hudson being shown around the Millwall training ground on Saturday. {editor's note – I am not 100% sure on this but I am pretty sure Wisdom went away on holiday after finishing his England duty by scoring 2 goals in the final (unfortunately only 1 at the right end!) of the U17 champs to help them win. So I very much doubt if it was him, but I am sure someone out there would know better than me.}

Defenders Eddie Nolan and Liam Chilvers have signed 3 year deals whilst Midfielder Chris Sedgwick and Striker Jon Parkin have both signed 2 year deals. All the transfers were free. The Owls are also excpected to announce the double signings of Pablo Counago and Richie Jones at the end of the week. They will join from Ipswich and Hartlepool respectivly. I am a United fan, but have got close links to SAF and Trevor Hemmings through the racing scene.

What I have noticed from what I have seen is the illusions surrounding the Preston take over. Hemming's sons are the main reason he has invested so much already (they are season ticket holders). In order to get back the 13 million plus that he has already invested, he HAD to take over, otherwise the club would have gone under and he would have lost this. I don't believe he will put a big budget in place, he will give some money for the playing staff budget, but will not pump further millions into Preston. What he will do is put them on a steady financial footing, and for the short term at least stave off any threat of administration / liquidation whilst still looking for an investor who will ultimately run the club, and as such, he will get his investment back.

07 Jun 2010 05:07:02
My source at CFC tell me that there is still a good chance Joe Cole will stay at the Bridge due to pressure by players and fans to keep him. I've also been told that Chelsea are saving they're big signings until late in the transfer window. My soruce is a relative who works at the club but obviously that all I can say.

Any MK Dons rumors?

That freelance journalist needs to brush up on his grammar and punctuation! At least make it look remotely believeable!

However, I have an uncle who knows somebody in the club (Arsenal) and he told him that Cole has certainly been enquired about. That means nothing about where he will end up, but does show firm interest in the player.

Stuck 20 on Chamakh being top–scorer next season – unlikely I admit, but if I win, I should have enough to buy us a goalkeeper!

Hodgson will be the new Liverpool manager. Expect this to be completed before the end of the World Cup as Liverpool will be starting Europa League qualifying in late July. The club has NOT been sold and Hodgson is there as a short–term solution. He is friends with Dalglish and his wife is from Liverpool. Thus the likes of Van Gaal will not be coming.

Also Mascherano will be sold.

Personally, I'm disappointed by the fact Liverpool haven't gone after Pellegrini. He is the perfect candidate for their current situation: low–key, doesn't court controversy, works within his means and knows how to handle egos. However, Pellegrini will off to replace Christoph Daum at Fenerbahce by the end of the week, whilst fellow ex–Madrid manager Bernd Schuster will take over Besiktas

Yesterday morning Andy Townsend reported that Martin O'Neil has agreed to become Liverpool manager in the summer. During the 10:00–13:00 show Andy said on more than one occasion that Benitez was to leave Liverpool with O'Neil replacing the spaniard. I know this is only supposition but would be a positive move after the final few months we have had.

This is a pretty tough one to call. My feeling is that if Cole were to leave Chelsea his preference would be for Arsenal or Manchester United. However, the two criteria his representatives have been seeking – wages of £120k and "regular" first team football – cannot be guaranteed by Arsenal or Manchester United any more than they can be by Chelsea.

Sharkey.

I'M A LEEDS FAN BUT!

A good friend of mine is a source very close to Trevor Hemmings, he rightly predicted the takeover of PNE and also predicted Irvine would be sacked in mid December before anyone knew and that Ferguson would come in, he's told me tonight that Hemmings is going to back Ferguson heavily in the transfer market ahead of the forthcoming season, he is ready to take north end to the premiership at any cost, he's a PNE fan and at 74 years old isn't getting any younger, ill health has seen him slow down a lot over the last couple of years, he has confided in his closest aides that before he dies, if only for one season he wants to see North end in the premier!!

Expect to see some big signings coming in:

I have it on very good authority that the prodigal son, the nugget is returning, this is 100% true and the deal has been in place for quite some time, Robbie Blake will also sign as will Nicky Butt!!

Many more will join!!

I am a freelance journalist i have previously had work printed on the fa.com amongst many other websites and newspapers so i am respectable.
i am 100% certain joe cole has already signed for arsenal but has requested the deal not be announced until england are out of the world cup.
he was in initial talks with tottenham but no contract offers were made and once arsenal entered the race all contact with tottenham was broke.
my sources are impeccable i have a good relationship with joe's family which does not relate to my journalist background. I also have a very close working relationship with a lower league footballer who shares the same agent as Joe and confirmed that joe was signing for Arsenal.
i know agents don't discuss their other clients to players but my friend was also in the process of a move and wondering why the agent was unavailable to talk.
the only reason i am posting on here as the newspapers won't pay for the story as they have already broke the story without sources, and before working in this industry i would of been delighted to gain some football insight so am just passing on what i know as it is of no finacial value to me.

Anthony Stokes DEFINATELY not going to Celtic, Lawrence 100%, Campbell Ledley Bullard all 50/50,
Keano to Villa, Bellamy no chance! St Ledger maybe because of Prestons troubles.
McGinn may be loaned out, Samaras will hold out for a bosman, Hinkel wants to move on, McManus won't be back because he isn't captain, Skippy wants to come back as he was forced out, and Paddy McCourt wants to play for a football team not a pleasure beach so that's Blackpool ruled out!
As for Rangers, Obertan is looking good for a season loan, a Spanish centre half sorry not got a name yet, Petrov IS thinking about it but Prem teams still sniffing around, not sure about Nugent but Goodwille is 100%.

Lewis Stevenson is a top target for Cardiff City.

Ross McCormack, Gavin Rae and Kevin McNaughton have recommended the young left–back to David Jones. McNaughton has said he will even switch to right–back to make way for Lewis in the squad.

One player definitely leaving is Mark Kennedy – he's signing for either Bristol Rovers or Swindon Town.

Other City potential signings are Matt Spiranovic, Danny Gabbidon, Martyn Waghorn, Simon Church, Ross Forbes and Rob Earnshaw.
