Use our rumours form to send us football transfer rumours.

the moron who posted; 'Arsenal to win the champions league this year this thanks to the singings of carlton cole and mathew upson for a joint price of 25million and the singing of melo from juvenst for 14million'
While I am a firm believer in Arsenal's chances of success, it seems highly unlikely that Melo would help us win the Champions League or even join us! 1: He would be cup–tied as he has taken part for Juventus in the group stages and 2) He's not going to leave them; he's a first team regular therefore he wouldn't leave, especially to a club he turned down in the summer!
For real rumours; I have a reliable source that tells me young Belgian, Eden Hazard (Lille) is a near certainty, Wenger see's real promise in him and is determined not to miss out on potentially world–class talent, when players such as Cristiano Ronaldo slipped through his fingers. This transfer is likely to transpire in the summer. The fee will be around £10 million.
As for January, a striker will be signed but only on loan. This will be either Mario Balotelli from Inter Milan. He has fallen out of favour and disgusted at recent eacist taunts. There will be an option to buy him for around £16 million in the summer. The other possibilty is Bojan of Barcelona, on the same deal and for similar reasons. However this deal will not involve Cesc Fabregas to any extent. Finally cover for the departing Alex Song, who will be particpating in the African Cup of Nations. I told you last summer that Gilberto would be signed on loan, this is to happen in January, he will be signed on loan until the end of the season and not beyond that. The reason the transfer did not occur in August was due to the emergence of Song, as Wenger was reluctant to disrupt his development.
Players leaving will be, Phillipe Senderos and Emmanuel Eboue to Everton and Atletico Madrid respectively. I am yet to be informed of potential targets to fill the void of centre back or goalkeeper, as Manuel Almunia and/or Fabianski will also be leaving. I am uncertain when these transfers will take place but they will be done by the end of the coming summer.
That's all for now.
CESC FABREGAS: ARSENAL THROUGH AND THROUGH. Licorio

Question regarding Liverpool: What is the budget of Liverpool in January? Which players are likely to come in January?
In my opinion Rafa will be spending big, and the the owners would spend big, because they don't be fragmented in mid of table during May. What are you thought?

Live to Love Liverpool ...

These are the 'RUMOURS' surrounding barnsley today! adam le fondre (Rotherham) Carlos Vela (Arsenal–Loan) Jack Wilshere (Arsenal–Loan) Danny Welbeck (Man Utd–Loan) Danny Shittu (Bolton) Robert Snodgrass (Leeds) Billy Sharp (Sheff Utd/Doncater) they are not 100% facts they are just rumours

I have heard a rumour that Sol Campbell may return to either Portsmouth or Arsenal in a Player Coach or Coaching role respectively. Sol would like to stay in football for a little bit longer and play at the highest level for a least the rest of the season to give him an outside chance of going to South Africa if there are injuries. Arsene feels he can add good experience to the squad in the same way Silvestre was going to but with the ability to actually defend.
Arsene will spend in Jan, but will try and buy someone who will soar in value after the World Cup unless he can get the Charlton Cole £9m from West Ham with Vela and Wiltshire going in the opposite direction until the end of the season.
Expect some changes in the summer with the youth policy to be put to one side and maybe 2 or 3 big names coming in in the summer depending on Jan activity.
OUTS:
Eduardo as he has lost that magic touch
Gallas will be replaced by a Tall CB
Rosicky will be replaced by a World Class midfielder

INS:
We just don't know as Arsene is keeping his cards close to his chest as he is worried Man City will push up the prices
Only player definitely coming in Jan is Hazard and in the summer Chamakh (as that's been the plan since last summer)

Rog the Dodge

Not a rumour, so much as a fact.

I'm a friend of Joe Ledley, and he's moving to Tottenham in January for £4.5m.

Joe is going because he is extremely dismayed and disappointed by the club's management and fans rounding on him.

Joe feels that he has been an excellent servant for Cardiff, and that he will always love the club and has some fantastic memories such as the goal against Barnsley in the FA Cup semi–final in 2008.

I just hope the morons who have criticised possibly our most influencial player will be happy when he goes. We will have lost our own 'Stevie G'.

Very Disappointed of Canton, Cardiff.

Liverpool jan transfer news

FOREST FANS IGNORE THE IDIOTS TALKING ABOUT MILLS AND KILLGANNON FOR FOREST WHILST TALK OF DAWSON IS PURE FANTASY.BILLY DAVIES WILL RAID PALACE FOR McCARTHY AS THE COMMANDING CENTRE HALF HE IS AFTER AND FAILING THAT WILL MOVE FOR CORT AGAIN.

EXPECT MOVES FOR A GOAL SCORING MIDFIELDER, LEFT BACK AND CENTRE HALF IN JANUARY. IGNORE THE NONSENSE BIG MONEY TALK. BILLY WILL PLAY IT CAUTIOUS AS HE DOES NOT WANT TO DISRUPT THE EXCELLENT TEAM SPIRIT.. DAN THE MAN.

To the person who said –Warnock (villa/left back) to come in and cover Boswinga (chelsea/right back)... well... that's all i have to say about that. Manchester City and Birmingham City will be the big spenders this January. The top 4 (man utd, chelsea, l'pool and arsenal)are all chasing young talent such as Hazard, Costa, Dzeko and Hines. David Villa will only join Barcelona or R.Madrid, end of story! I have strong premier league links, i won't disclose my name, but i will be willing to share any info requested. (MR B)

Steve Lansdown is said to have held initial Talks with Alan Curbishley and Steve Coppell to regarding their interest in taking over at Bristol City to replace heavily underfire manager Gary Johnson.

Alan Pardew is hoping to sign unsettled Bristol City midfielder Lee Johnson after agreeing a fee of £150k, however Norwich City have also expressed an interest.

Liverpool are looking for a CHEAP striker – FACT!

The names being linked at the moment are Benni Mccarthy, Chamakh, Adriano, The Fat Ronaldo and now incredibly enough, James Beattie

Roman Pavlyuchenko to Arsenal??? Don't think Spurs' 4th choice striker is the 'world–class' player Wenger is looking for! Perhaps Stefan Kiessling could be???

Hi am looking for an update on anyone who was at the AGM and what happend at it and has anyone any truth in rangers

Hearts have approached Aldershot Town over duo Scott Donnelly and Marvin Morgan.

APPARENTLY WEST HAM ARE LOOKING TO SIGN ADRIANO ON A FREE–TRANSFER AS HE IS CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A CLUB.
Also, i'd like to add that i THINK it is highly unlikely for West Ham to sell Junior Stanislas and Zavon Hines to Tottenham as these lads are hot prospects for the club. The same goes for Collison and Tomkins.

Tottenham to sign zavon hines and junior stanislas from westham for around 15mill.

pavulychenko, jenas and bentley likly to move on.

Stanislas and hines too spurs....parker to villa...upson to arsenal

Kenweyne Jones to Arsenal?
Or anywhere else for that matter! I've seen a lot of players in my time who are playing like they want to be away, But this guy's got it down to a fine art. Ever since he was linked with a move to Spurs his head has been up his own arse.
This guy makes Heskey look like a raging bull.
Kenweyne –OUT!
Robbie Keane –IN!

RIGHT. i always post on here and no–one seems to listen to me. so. Liverpool will probably get a nobody, past his best player. seeing as they really don't have the money. although a move for Adriano could be on the cards seeing as he will be on a free in January (i don't know how or why, he just is). they need a back–up striker who can score, he could be exactly what they need.

Sol Campbell to Man Utd. yeah im really starting to believe that one, with Ferdinand not expected back until February as well as O'Shea and Evans out until January at the earliest we're going to need someone who in all fairness is good, not champions league tied and on the cheap, why not him? we did it with Owen so its probably got about a 60/40 in favour of happening.

Arsenal i think will spend for once in January they won't pay 'BIG' but they'll get what they need, Arsene said he wants a Good, international that's not cup tied, again like i mentioned with Liverpool, what about Adriano? or maybe even 'the' Ronaldo he's on form and back to his old ways, even a regular in the Brazil SQUAD.

Chelsea, i think may sign a 'BIG' name player. i don't know who, maybe Aguero? as he is a certainty to make the world cup, you know just someone who will go to SA no matter what.

Manchester City, i think if they're in a good posistion come January they may get a 'fairy good' player. but really the only Role they need to improve on is there wings, they have 'world class' players everywhere except the wings well the right to be exact. basically SWP is not brilliant the're are much better wingers than him who will most likely sign for Man City, someone like, Van Der Vaart ( i know he's not a right sided player or a winger for that fact but he can play there, and when he does he does it well)

Also will people PLEASE stop arguing about Rangers and Celtic, does it really matter at the end of the day your both under–achievers fair enough you win your 'scottish' cups and leagues. but look at the teams you play week–in–week–out. your not really EPL quality are you? you may just win a Europa league place if your lucky, so enough with the comparrisons. Although saying that i really appreciate and respect your league.

MAN.IN.THE.MIRROR.

Manchester United News....
I have said it before and now I will say it again!

Manchester United could sign Denmark international centre–back Simon Kjaer (20) from Palermo in January as Rio Ferdinand, John O'Shea, Nemanja Vidic and Johnny Evans are all currently injured and need time to recover. Price between £8m and £12m.

The Red Devil from Denmark.

In response to the Thomas O Hicks ??? rumour, Are you for real, He might not know much about football but he's a great businessman. To do what your source suggested would ultimately cost him millions think about it...ANYWAY a real rumour BEN FOSTER wants to go Aston villa ..Watch this space

MAN CITY NEWS

Hughes is fed up of being overpriced for young european talent and has set his sights on keeping ROBINHO and bringing in some red hot Brazillian talent to keep him happy. Expect all bids to total around £50m will the following on their way to Manchester to the sound of Hughes's SAMBA beat

DODO – DF – Corinthians
WALLACE OLIVERA – DF – Fluminese
HERNANES – MD – Sao Paolo
DOUGLAS COSTA – MD – Gremio
NEYMAR – FD – Santos
DEIGO TARDELLI – FD – Flamengo

Nigel Clough will aim try to get cover for the injured Barker with a number of top defenders on his list. He will try to get Paul Dickov on loan until the end of the season after a run of good performances, however he will not try to sign him due to his age. Another target is Jamie Mackie from Plymouth however they are now in a battle with Forest to sign the striker.

Demba Ba (African Cup) and Cole (persistent injuries) are not targets for Wenger, neither is the overpriced Huntelaar despite his stocks decreasing due to a slow start in Milan. Arsenal we move for Adriano and if he does not return to Europe then a move for Kenwyne Jones is likely. Should Rosicky continue to be plagued with injury Van Der Vaart will replace. Subotic is too costly and Wenger will look at Mertesacker, Zapata or Upson instead.

Roman Pavlyuchenko's agent Says Arsenal are one of three clubs interested in signing the striker from Spurs in January.

This is some info I had from a trusted business friend from across the pond, who deals with Thomas O Hicks.
He has no interest in football and I trust him( not Hicks!) 1000 %

Apparently Hicks can't believe how easy it has been for him to do whatever he wants ie asset strip the squad and renage on any promises. Hicks actually said he expected several years of bitter battles and protests before reinventing Liverpool as a club for "smart classy people" (tourists) rather than "peasants and assholes" ( his description of Kopites etc)

He has no plans to build a stadium just a large expansion of corporate boxes, the sale of key players and the forced resignation of Rafael Benitez by making his squad progressively weaker and weaker.

There was one disgusting comment, when Hicks was asked about "traditional soccer fans resistance". Hicks gave a glare and replied "Yeah Ida kinda like to crush them in some fences myself".

Sickening really isn't it?

Arsene will look to sign Cole £12million, Demba Ba from Hoffenheim for around £6–10 million, the down side is he is senegalese international and will be away on ACN duty, Fabregas has said we need a Drogba like forward so Cole or Ba fit the bill.Huntelaar if he does not move to Fc Twente.Arsene will assess defensive situation a towering defender to compliment Vermaelen.Subotic who stands at 6ft4in, Sakho at 6ft2in, Zapata at 6ft2in.Matuidi will be looked at for £7–8million fro next summer.Hazard will come in for £6–8million.Wenger has said he does not need Vieira but an attacking option.Bojan Krkic would be a good signing he is very much an Arsenal like player.Keep the faith Gunners, Hope Wilshere and Merida have a good game at Olympiacos. GoonerSal

Arsenal FC news :: Arsene Wenger again told the gooners that not to expect cash splash in January & his options are limited in market. He may not get Dzeko, Carton Cole or Chamackh for various reasons but inside news is this he is looking for Steffan Kiesling from Leverkusen who is in sublime form at the moment & playing really good in Bundesliga.Wenger will bid for this guy for sure.Remember this....

89 (indian Gunner)

Leicester City to sign Martyn Waghorn permanently and Marton Fulop who is to replace Chris Weale who is moving to Tottenham!, They are also insterested in capturing Darren Gibson and Jack Wiltshere on loan!

Mark robins is set to bring adam le fondre from his old club rotherham united for £500, 000 and danny welbeck from his other old club man utd on loan, also the signing of bolton defender danny shittu for cover for darren moore and stepher foster.

Arsenal will sign demba ba in january. the truth

Kenywne jones to arsenal for 10 million.if this doesn't go through expect a bid for brazilian ronaldo for 7million befcause he has regained some of his old form and is good for the short term.also vela and others can learn from himthere is an outside chance of sol campbell returning.senderos to everton for 6million

I reckon romanov would walk if the hearts fans offered him 20 million, of which i feel the fans could raise no bother even taking a loan out of romanovs bank this would be the ideal way for his departure making money from us but giving us back our club...gordon

West ham have finally realised that a great footballer does not always make a great manager

too many mistakes by zola have taken the hammers into a relegation battle despite the league being littersd with poor teams [hull burnley woles bolton pompey etc.

his latest effort against a third team manu defence was pathetic

he has been given the next two matches to turn things around with di canio the favourite to replace

'Hearts supporters are now sick of the way the club is being run down by romanov and are now looking for real investment from hearts minded people gary mackay has voiced is concerns and many more feel the same, lets call on all concerned fans to invest in our hearts with £1000 per fan, i believe there are easily half a million hearts fans worldwide lets turn hearts into a club run by the fans not the russians...gogs107'

Fear not, wee Gogs....change is coming to Tynecastle in the New year.

Very soon, mad Vlad and co. will be gone – and an investigation by Interpol and the Serious Fraud Office will force a change of ownership.

Plus, there are five parties willing to invest in Hearts in summer 2010.

Riccy Scimeca will be sent out on loan to Notts County for a month, in january, in order to help him return to full fitness.

Heard that Dave Jones has 3 games to save his job at Cardiff City.

If he fails to get a good result in 2 of the next 3 games, Czabla Lazlo will leave Hearts and be installed as the new Cardiff boss.

Lazlo wants out of Hearts and would jump at the chance to take over at Cardiff. Andrew Driver would move with him, along with Eggert Jonson.

To the person who said "Why would Chelsea need Vieira they have mikel and essien! only person chelsea are signing is warnock from Aston villa to cover for bogiswa". Chelsea would need Patrick Vieira to cover for the loss of both John Obi Mikel and Michael Essien during the African Cup of Nations. My question to you is why would Steven Warnock cover Bosingwa? They play on different sides. Anyway on to some real rumours, Chelsea will sign Marek Hamsik for £18 million from Napoli and will also sign Andrea Ranocchia from Genoa/Bari for about £7 million where he will provide cover for JT, Riccy and Alex. This will provide some much needed youth to the side. Chelsea will also sign Adam Johnson from Middlesbrough regardless if he signs a new contract this week for about £5 million. Chelsea will also try again for Kun Aguero but this is unlikely due to the player wanting a summer move instead. That's all for now.

Bristol Rovers Club captain Stuart Campbell is to leave at the end of the season to pursue a coaching school in the united states. Not sure if he will be playing over there, good luck Stu

Hearts supporters are now sick of the way the club is being run down by romanov and are now looking for real investment from hearts minded people gary mackay has voiced is concerns and many more feel the same, lets call on all concerned fans to invest in our hearts with £1000 per fan, i believe there are easily half a million hearts fans worldwide lets turn hearts into a club run by the fans not the russians...gogs107

This is an honestly true rumour! sol campbell is in talks with preston north end for a move to deepdale in january 100% honest

Following Cardiff's recent investment, near neighbours Swansea City are also hopeful of getting investment in the new year.

A 10–man team will be asked to market the club around the world to prospective buyers, with the hope that the club could be in the Premiership within 3–5 years.

Huw Jenkins will stand down, should he find the right buyer for the club, which is valued at £12–£16 million.
