Tevez to liverpool, are you having a laugh, okay he may be very good mates with javier mascherano but there is no chance of that happening, he's come out and said a number of times these last few weeks that he wants to stay and manchester united and manchester united want him to stay, its just a matter of finding the 30 million + they need to complete the deal. if manchester united don't sign him then i think he will go to either real madrid or Ac milan.
anyway, back to the rumours.
cristiano ronaldo is comiited to the club and is going nowhere in the immediate future.
Luis Nani will most probably go on loan, fergie will not sell him as we've only paid 19mil for him last summer.
ryan giggs may be on the verge of an early retirement has he isnt playing as regular as first thought with park ji sung on form, its possible but don't think it will happen.
van der sar should retire so we can let ben foster get 1st XI football, but he has recently signed a 2 year extension which means bens foster's career will go to waste as he is 25 years of age.
the usual rumours of united signing benzema, huntlaar, etc, will not happen as we are in no need of a striker. we now have a complete defense with the services and talents of evans,possebon, rafael and fabio. so our defence should be fine for some time to come. our midfield is top quality with ronaldo,anderson,scholes,carrick,park,nani,fletcher,giggs etc.
and as for our stikers we still have got youth in them, as most people forget rooney is still only 23 years of age, with hopefully the permanent signing of carlos tevez who is still only 24, and we have the expirence of berbatov so everything shall be okay with that department. all i can see happening is a few players being sold and maybe 3–4 future talents being brought in the summer with nomore january deals happening after the signings of Zoran Tosic (who has joined now) and Adem Ljajic who shall be joining in the summer.

As for our signings Arshavin seems certain to come in before the window closes. Zenit still claim to want 20 million although a compromise should be reached at around 15 million with performance bonuses possibly taking it to total 17 million. Zenit will accept this as they are scared by the prospect of Arshavin buying out his contract next year and making nothing out of him. As for wages he's willing to take a pay cut to join our great team.
Other possibilities are Upson somebody tabled an 11 million bid – wouldn't be surprised if Wenger wants him back.
Just to quiet a few rumours these following will not be arriving at the Emirates (at least not until summer):

As most of you know Kris Boyd will be sold to Birmingham for 3 million. However targets may well include, David Healy, Alan Smith or an ace card from walter smith. The alan smith target you may find hard to believe BUT he may sway the Ferguson deal to Newcastle. Also Peter Lovenkrands has been released by Shalke, which means he is a free agent. As for the midfielder situation don't have a clue what walter will do, hopefully gattuso may come (ac milan friendly part of deal). But keep the faith lads. Keep Believeing !!!

over the years it has become clear that the january transfer is just an excuse for big clubs to throw their weight around.as a lifelong wba fan it has been difficult watching our bitter rivals wolves(DINGLES) do so well ,however deep down we all know that their success wiil be short lived.for the following reasons:all their 'stars' will leave to bigger clubs,they will run out of luck and finally mick mcarthy has a bad track record in the premier league . as for january transfers us albion faithful would love the following players to come to the hawthorns jimmy bullard, sami hypia ,steve finnan,fabian delph,amdy faye ,vincent pericard, andy todd danny shittu or dean windass. but we probably have to settle with a couple of loan deals e.g marlon harewood ,jay simpson,ben foster,fran merida,andy griffin and god forbid ricardo fuller. p.s message to all wba fans keep the faith king mowbray and the lads will keep us up long live the king

Zenit have now officially accepted that they are not going to get 20 mil for Arshavin from any club in the world. They have now reportedly cut their demanding price for the Russian playmaker dramatically to 10 mil, as it is very well documented that Arshavin wants to leave, and he has even threatened to refuse to play or buy himself out of his contract with Zenit. Due to all of this, his value has decreased (this I have read in Daily Mirror). As Arsenal are willing to pay 12 mil, Arshavin will be arriving sooner than expected. He has been at a London hotel with his wife and agent and has looked around the Arsenal training grounds. He is in talks with Arsenal (Zenit have reported that Arsenal are the only club interested in him) and the deal will be completed as early as next week for a fee of around 11.5 mil, and with Arshavin on wages of 70,000 per week. Stephen Appiah will be signed on a free by Spurs by the end of the week/early next week, allowing Didier Zokora to leave for Real Madrid. Spurs have already submitted 2 bids, both of which have been rejected, to Boro for Stewart Downing, however Boro have denied reports that they have rejected a bid of 14.5 mil for the winger. Boro say they will not sell their star player, however with Downing's desire to leave expect his departure to be inevitable.

Newcastle are away to steal Brown under the noses or Portsmouth chiefs. They are also looking to sign Darren O'Dea. Newcatsle are also looking to sign Krisztian Nemeth on loan until the end of the season. This is likely to ahppen to give the youngster some much needed premier league experience.

kris boyd cannot be reaplaced for the amount of money he is leaving for and its an absoloutly terrible deal. also boyds striking partner kenny miller will be absoloutly useless without boyd.

Unfortunatly, due to a lack of funds and enthusiasm from the manager, liverpool will not be purchasing(probably) and if they do, it will not be heskey, he left as he wasn't good enough, why bring him back and it will also not be Glen Johnson as he has just signed a new deal with pompey. Also, unfortunatly, liverpool will not sign Lennon in this transfer market but could do in the summer. In the summer they will buy at least one full back with dossena going the other way, A right winger, with pennant going the other way and possibly a striker to be back up for torres with voronin leaving perminantly. This will be a striker who can actually score in the prem, unlike keane and kuyt at the moment as we need some goals from a striker when torres isn't fit, which with the way things go will be every time he plays for spain which should be every spain game.
Tevez will leave man u probably to real madrid and will be followed out of the club in the summer by the retireing giggs making way for the two new youngsters who have been signed. Downing will not leave middlesborough and nor will any other senior player, its official and hyypia is on his way out of Anfield, watch this space. .
Newcastle will not sell given this season, kinear won't let him go but he could well go in the summer or after this summer, newcastle could buy boruc as a replacement from celtic. Hull want pennant from liverpool but won't get him this transfer market, could do in the summer though as liverpool will hopefully buy a right winger (lennon and valencia are possibilitys)

Rumours over the purchase of Axel Witsel, Laryea Kingston and Scottish International James Morrison, who was allegedly unsettled by Megson, have been put on hold, and particular websites are keen to share recent news with fans over West Ham's Calum Davenport and former Brazillian star De Oliveira Denilson. Both players have been under scrutiny by Gary Megson, and many sources believe that talks have, or will be held at the Reebok discussing both of these players' future, whether it be at the club or not. Denilson, 31, former Real Betis and Bordeaux star and record breaker was released by Palmeiras earlier this month and has admitted that he has had offers from English clubs. The Wanderers' boss has not hidden his desire to redeem Bolton's success in the premiership and sees Denilson's signature as one that could add add abit of flair to the club's attack. Meanwhile, Gianfranco Zola is prepared to sell Davenport in order to balance the books, which has alerted Gary Megson to the opportunity, and Bolton are now thought to have confirmed their interest in Calum Davenport and a deal is predicted to be finalised in the next few days. Davenport is said to be undergoing talks, and a medical in the next 48 hours, ahead of his proposed switch to the Reebok.
1st time posting here, but I live in a town in between Edinburgh and Glasgow, theres a pub in my town owned by Ex–Rangers player Willie Henderson, I overheard him when I was walking this afternoon past saying "Let me confirm this, Kris Boyd is sold, and Barry (Ferguson) looks like he's on his way aswell" most probable destination for Boyd being Birmingham, unknown about Ferguson. Being a Rangers fan myself, I don't want either to go, especially at such a crucial point of the season. Possible replacements for Boyd – David Healy or now free agent Peter Lovenkrands? Wouldn't imagine Smith would spend any money on his central midfield, I would imagine he would make use of players such as Maurice Edu, who I would like to be seen given a run.
