Man utd news!
valencia have said that man utd and themselfs are in talks over a deal which will take 1 david villa to united. the player an his manager and dad are in talks over a pre contract taking him to united. man utd an valencia have worked out a price for the world class striker but have yet to agree how much they will get to start with what payments will be made. looks a dead cert as fergie sent his top advisors to south of france to do all his work. expect villa in a united shirt next season.

united also looking to loan benzema but that's only if villa doesn't join, also man utd to sign a under 21 french starlet from boardaux Yoan Gouffran. looks like rooney will have some company upfront.

To all those writing masses of rumours for clubs, you are wrong. only twice have teams had a major clearout–and–replacement summer, being chelsea and man city when they first got taken over by the riches from the east. they will not do so again and nobody else will(unless miraculously they will be taken over by more riches from the east) arsenal seem likely to have new owners by the summer, but lets face it, being an arsenal fan myself, we all know wenger won't spend massive. expect this from the frenchman
outs: almunia 2m, silvestre + gallas free + many loanees
ins: neuer/lloris 12m, sakho 10m, hazard 14m, hangeland/gamberini/boateng 10m, chamakh free
possibilities (will only happen if club is taken over and wenger feels the price is right): eduardo and rosicky out, higuain and silva in
also possibly one of melo or rodwell
i know this sounds like a lot but the last ones are unlikely like is said and this is fact: wenger will spend no more than £30m unless players are sold
expect a dog fight for di maria, aguero, silva and villa between man u, real, barca, chelsea and man city

GLASGOW RANGERS

Do we have any genuine rumours on a buyer for the club?

To date all is quiet from Andrew Ellis, and any RST and consortium take over.

Big lfc news
a complete buyout will happen in the next 4 weeks,
dubai investment capital will be new owners with a new boardroom and manager.rafa will go to juventus if he is not offered the madrid job.work will start on the new ground almost immediatley but plans for a new stadium will be re submitted to liverpool council
there will be a new design with a capacity of 80,000
as the new owners feel this is the only way to compete with the big hitters in world football.
no news on who will be new manager but he can expect big backing in the transfer market to get liverpool competing in every competition.after that a more conservative transfer budget will be in place with the emphasis on young talent being brought in from across the globe as well as finding and nurturing local talent.money will be available for a big transfer but any new manager would have to justify it to the new owners first.
they want the best for the club but it won't get into a bidding war with other clubs for any old player.
i can't reveal my source because i will be out of work just look out for the headlines in the next four weeks.the deal is as good as done just legal paperwork to do.

–––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––

I was recently in Dubai on business and heard afew whispers about LFC and a deal trying to be struck.
I appreciate you don't want to disclose your source, but do you have any info on any potential bid by H&G to keep a stake or play a minority role?

I really hope this goes through as they won't be as stingy as H&G but also as stupid as City in destroying the transfer market with crazy valuations.

I heard a strange one today, but apparantly Sir Alex is considering a bid for one Peter Crouch! He is said to admire the way he and rooney play for england, and rooney is said to be delighted at the prospect of having such a great foil at club level.

Conrad""

Hi Conrad, I'm interested to hear where you heard this "strange one". Was it from a "strange one", or perhaps are you a "strange one"? I'm leaning towards the latter in case you're interested? Crouch would not fit into utds style of play. Look at BBtov, Crouch would look hilarious trying to keep up with a utd counter–attack. I'm sure Rooney would be delighted to sign Crouch as opposed to a world class forward like Please post again though Conrad, I think we can be friends..

Paul Scholes will retire at the end of the season. It has become obvious in the past few games that he really is starting to struggle. Man United will not sign any big name player (although you can expect a £25m bid for Yoann Gourcuff around the last week which will be either declined or out bid) in the summer.

SAF has decided that Darron Gibson will start playing more regular first team football for United, he will replace the retiring Paul Scholes.

Rooney & Vidic will both sign new contracts at United keeping them there until summer 2015. Nani has also signed a new 4 year deal.

Anderson will be leaving along with Foster. Around £18m will be coming in, in total for them both.

09 Apr 2010 17:45:25
Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas will join barcelona for £40mill in the summer if Arsenal fail to win the Premier league this season. Arsenal will step up the bid to sign Felipe Melo and Chamak is a done deal.

It's a done deal. Even though it's unofficial. Rafael van der Vaart is moving to Old Trafford this summer. The deal is said to be worth around 10m.

There is truth in this in that in the most recent count there were over 90,000 people waiting for season tickets. The club turn away nearly 25, 000 people each home game.
The new ground will be the best in Europe. The new Kop will hold over 18, 000 people alone. There is due to be a hotel built on the ground where the Kop now stands but the pitch is to be kept as it is (memorial garden) as it is sacred ground, i.e King Kenny has walked on it and people have had their ashes buried or scattered there.

Mourinho to be in charge before the World Cup begins with the new investment in his back pocket ready to build the team to emulate the team of 1989, with the new '89–style' red kit to match.

Rafa will be looking to raid Real this summer, as no doubt Madrid will be looking to add more world class players to the squad, and because of this other class players will be shipped out, or wanting to move because there not getting any minuets. So Rafa the gaffa will try and take advantage of this. Now already there has been many a roumour about Higuain joining the reds, and i personally CAN see this happening, and this being a big signing which Hicks and Gillette promiced. Along with this excellent young striker, Rafa will try and bring some experiance into the liverpool squad, he can do this with Veteran mindfielder Guti who at 33 is becoming out of favour at the bernabeu, and Real Madrid Legend Raul, 32, who also is not getting any pitch time at Madrid. And The last possible transfer from Real to the reds could be the return of XABI ALONSO! who has been a big miss this season. hopefully we can capture a few, if not all of these players, as Real owe us after the amount of players we've sold to them.
sorry for yet another big entery ;)

From a realiable source

Celtic will Give Lennon the job if he wins the scotish cup. He has a few players already coming in the summer he is talking to stokes of hibs wants a quick nippy foward. also he is looking at taking Micheal O'Connor from scuntorphe ashe is a good attackingmidfeild also could take Shane Long from reading if samaras leaves. Ivan Ramis is wanting a move to celtic but will only go if there is a better manager so lennon is thinking about guy demel on loan to make his defence alot better. he thinks Mc Mannus will comeback but fears middelsbourg will get to play offs and get put up a league. kamara is not liked by lennon so he is away braafeild is going as well so his new left back will be nickey shorey. keane will only stay if celtic can bring in a bigger named manager. rangers are looking at taking David Healy on loan but says they are so bad that he wouldn't send his worst enemy out to ibrox.

09 Apr 2010 15:31:44
I expect Mancini was at Anfield to watch Di Maria, City have been linked with him all season. Far more likely than Mancini going because he is the next Liverpool manager don't you think. I mean how many managers have you ever known that go to watch their new team before they take over? Anyway if City finish 4th then won't he stay? If not he'll go to Juve where he will have Champions League football.
By the way Robbie Fowler, Jason McAteer and Micheal Howard where also there perhaps they will for a three pronged management team. CLOWN.

I am a close friend with one of the directors at Inter Milan and he has informed me that when ever Mourinho makes his move to the Premiership, he will be bringing Sneijder, Maicon and Julio Cesar with him. With this info i doubt that Mourinho will be joining Liverpool as they already have a perfectly good goal keeper and attacking midfielder. My bet is that he is holding out for the Man United job.

Info from a very reliable source.

As to this post.

Can anyone tell me why Roberto Mancini was at anfield last night?–as far as i can work out he can't be interested in any of the Benfica players and he isn't due to play liverpool–is he in line to be the new liverpool manager? or is he watching torres?–Bad times if its either me thinks!

Heard he was their looking at angel di maria as well as david luiz??

09 Apr 2010 17:24:21
Newcastle fans you can stop dreaming about getting jamie o'hara, you have no chance.
i think he would rather fight to get into the top 4 than stay in the prem.
however i have heard that the toon army want to bring jenas back at a price of 5 million with a 2.5m clause.

09 Apr 2010 14:15:14
Heard an interesting rumour that Eduardo is a target for NUFC. Despite his obvious goal record at club and nternational level he has never really been given the chance at Arsenal and CH thinks if played regularly could be the sort of goal predator that is needed to play alongside Carroll. Other rumours are M Johnson and Onuha from Citeh. Patrick Van Anhoult is almost a done deal from Chelsea as is O'Hara from Spurs.

Lots of hopefuls posting on here that they'll get Arsenal's Jack Wilshere on loan next season. Sorry to burst your little bubble (Bolton, Everton, Newcastle etc), but due to the injury of Aaron Ramsey, Wilshere will start the 10/11 season as an Arsenal player. He may be loaned out at in January 11 depending on his opportunities and how he's adapted, but will NOT be heading anywhere until Ramsey is match fit again (could be a long wait!).

Had the injury to Aaron happened before January, Jack would be on the Emirates bench right now (given our injury problems) and not busting his gut for Owen Coyle's relegation cause.

While Wenger has stated that money will be spent on strengthening the first team, don't expect to see overhyped cash cows like Villa, Silva or Higuain heading in. AFC may have a pot of gold (Kroenke will only add to this), but Wenger's 'sense and sensibility' policy won't change!

Rumour has it he was running the rule over Angel Di Maria and Oscar Cardozo.
Regarding potential new managers for Liverpool (rumoured Benitez has until 16th April to accept Juventus but he is apparantly holding out for the Real Madrid job) you are either looking at either Jose Mourinho, Martin O Neil or Frank Rikjaard as the main contenders to take over.

Martin O'Neill is fuming that Lerner will accept just 22m for James Milner as he wants to build our team around this player, UTD have offered Carrick plus 7m for the Villa midfielder but MON wants nothing to do with it. I have heard that MON wants Michael Owen chucked in and 10m cash, so that's Carrick & Owen plus 10m for Milner, i really do not wana lose Milner but Owen & Carrick plus 10m could be a good deal for all?

If Shrewsbury fail to get into the play–off's AND win them, expect Paul Simpson to be sacked.

With Roly Wycherley (Billy Fury's cousin) getting frustrated at the lack of progress on the pitch, expect also that he will walk in the summer.

Have heard that the new owner will be the current MD Rob Bickerton, and new manager will be current Barwell boss Marcus Law.

Man Utd:
Many of the bad rumours i've heard concern United. Firstly i don't expect Benzema, Aguero or either of the Valencia boys(Villa & Silva) to join, at least not given their current situations. Benzema is not going to leave Real just yet, no matter how poor he's been at Madrid this year, the Real board see him as a 'Galactico', and are likely to push Higuain rather than Benzema towards the exit. Villa will only join another spanish team, his preference was Barca, but he'd also move to Real given the opportunity and Silva would only join Arsenal or Liverpool in the Premier League. Aguero is not looking to leave Atletico jsut yet, although where he would go i'm not entirely sure. These situations could change obviously and Man Utd are always going to get a big name player in, but i expect it will be in midfield where they strengthen this summer, although they may begin pursuing a replacement for Van Der Sar now.

LOL, LETS PUT A FEW THINGS STRAIGHT HERE, FIRST OF ALL BENZEMA HAS NOT BEEN POOR THIS SEASON, NOT IN THE SLIGHTEST, HES SIMPLY NOT MATCHED HIGUAIN & RONALDO WHO ARE ABOVE HIM IN THE PECKING ORDER SIMPLY AS THEY HAVE BOTH BEEN SUPERB THIS SEASON BOTH SCORING VIRTUALLY A GOAL A GAME, THAT IS ALL MY FRIEND, BENZEMA IS LOOKING FOR FIRST TEAM FOOTBALL AND HE KNOWS HE WILL NOT GET IT AT REAL, HIGUAIN & RONALDO SORTED THEIR DIFFERENCES A LONG LONG TIME AGO! LIVERPOOL FANS NEED TO FORGET ABOUT HIGUAIN BECAUSE IT WILL NOT HAPPEN! FOR ONE YOU CANNOT AFFORD HIM AND TWO, REAL WILL NOT GET RID OF THEIR TOP STRIKER, THEY HAVE NO REASON TO!

SECOND OF ALL, YOU SAY SILVA SAID HE WILL ONLY GO TO ARSENAL OR LIVERPOOL? HAVE YOU NOT SEEN HIS INTERVIEW WITH MARCA? SAYING HE WOULD BE HONOURED TO BE A UNITED PLAYER AND IF HE LEAVES VALENCIA HE WOULD LOVE TO WORK WITH ALEX FERGUSON, THESE ARE FACTS LAD, STRAIGHT FROM THE HORSES MOUTH, I HAVE WATCHED THE INTERVIEW, IT IS PRETTY CONCRETE EVIDENCE!

THERE IS NO MYSTERY TO WHO YOU SUPPORT MATE IS THERE? UM . LIVERPOOL PERHAPS?

UNITEDS TOP TARGETS ARE AKINFEEV, RODWELL, MILNER & BENZEMA! WHETHER FERGUSON GETS ANY OF THEM OR NOT IS ANOTHER MATTER? I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO ADD THAT REPRESENTATIVES FROM VALENCIA & DAVID VILLA HAVE HAD A MEETING WITH UNITED OFFICIALS IN THE LAST WEEK AND HAVE OFFERED VILLA FOR AROUND 40 MILLION, UNITED HAVE TOLD THEM DUE TO HIS AGE AND BECAUSE OF THE CLUBS DEBT, THEY WILL NEED TO HALVE THAT AMOUNT, SO VILLA'S PREFERRED DESTINATION IS OLD TRAFFORD EVIDENTLY!

To that blurt who wrote 'Rodwell is fed up at Everton playing in a sht team'.

Rodwell will sign a new 5 year deal at Everton on 25k a week. Gosling will also follow suit.

Rooney is following Ronaldo to Real Madrid in the summer for 50+ Million.

Everton will sign Owen Hargreaves on loan with a view to a permanent move in the summer providing he can prove his fitness. Gary Neville will arrive on a 1 year contract to be with brother Phil. We will also sign Michael Owen for 2 million on a one year deal with the option of a further two.

Everton will also make moves for Miguel Veloso and Joao Mountinho of Sporting Lisbon. We will also try to sign Jack Wilshire on loan from Arsenal. Other targets will be Sebastian Larsson of Birmingham and make an unlikley move for Joe Cole. Jermaine Beckford will also sign on a free transfer becuase Leeds will not get promoted and he signed a pre contract agreement in January. Everton will also target Nikola Zigic of Valencia for 5 Million pounds and possibly Oscar Cardozo of Benfica.

Yakubu will go to Fenerbache for 10 million as Moyes is fed up with his work rate or lack of.
James Vaughan will go to Newcastle for 2 million as David moyes is fed up with his lack of fitness.

To the person who put this;

Stoke:to get James harper from Sheffield u, David James and seb larsson. Ricardo fuller to go to spurs as replacement for keane

Stoke don't need David James, yes we looked at him for back up in January but we got Asmir Begovic, so we will have 3 decent keepers for next season.

Fuller won't be going anywhere he is 30 has bad knees is inconsistent so why would spurs even think of him as a replacement for Keane.

As for Seb Larsson, why would we buy off Birmingham? yes they have done really well but u know with the money being pumped into brum that they will make whole changes but i don't think seb will be one of them it will be the old guard and that could be their downfall

I know nothing of james harper so i can't comment on them but stoke will rekindle their interest in joe ledley and if a nother keeper does come then it will be Alex smithes but he will be loaned straight back out.

Our scouts are in south America at the moment looking for un–covered jems like we did with Arismendi

WE AINT SELLING SHAWCROSS THE PRICE TAG SAYS 15M ON HIM HE IS TOO GOOD TO LET GO OF YET.

i think everyone is looking at O'hara this year after his passion on the pitch at pompey, Tony will talk with his good friend harry and a cheeky bid will go in for him

To all United supporters.stop with the rubbish. you will not sign villa (read the guardian) or anyone else worth a damn this summer unless it involves a major player exchange (vidic/benzema). i know what the glazer family does with it's teams as I have spent much time in the US during their reign in the NFL. spend some money so you can win a title or in your case 3 and then strip the club/team to bare bones. anyone that want to dispute this look at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' story.

Liverpool to spend bigger than most think this summer, Rhone deal a no go b/c a BIG 100% takeover is in the works. expect 3 big players and Rafa to STAY.

ANOTHER DELUSIONAL POOL FAN! TAMPA FANS HAVE NOTHING BUT ADMIRATION FOR THE GLAZERS, I KNOW THIS BECAUSE I AM A TAMPA FAN! YOUR GUTTING STATEMENT IS COMPLETE AND UTTER FABRICATION. HERNENDEZ AND SMALLING ARE BOTH QUALITY SIGNINGS, SMALLING WILL BE AN ENGLAND FIRST TEAMER FOR MANY MANY YEARS AND HERNENDEZ IS A BETTER VERSION OF AN 18 YEAR OLD MICHAEL OWEN.
UNITED WILL SIGN A TOP PLAYER THIS YEAR, WHETHER IT IS SILVA, VILLA, MILNER OR BENZEMA WHO KNOWS, BUT ONE THING I CAN GUARANTEE AND THAT IS JEALOUS POOL FANS LIKE YOURSELF WILL TRY TO DISCREDIT THEM BY SAYING THEY ARE NOT TOP SIGNINGS! GROW UP?

09 Apr 2010 09:53:19
Whoever said Robbie Keane is going to Newcastle, you are wrong. I am a Newcastle fan and realistically we are only trying to avoid relegation so Robbie Keane would not join (he'll probably end up back at Spurs or at Villa maybe. Chris Hughton will only have £15m to spend plus whatever he can make through sales. We may sell:
Leon Best – £1m
Fabrice Pancrate – Released
Nicky Butt – Retirement
Giving us a total of £16m to spend. Hughton will probably sign:
Jamie O'Hara (£5m) Tottenham
Chris Smalling (Loan) Manchester United
Jason Roberts (£2m) Blackburn
Javier Garrido (£2m) Manchester City
Graham Dorrans (£7m) West Brom

To the supposed spurs "fan" who wrote this, please try better next time, you can't even spell Palacios correctly. Real Madrid already have Alonso, both Lass and Mahamadou Diarra and Fernando Gago for their central/defensive midfield options, they won't be looking to add Palacios and Spurs won't be selling, indeed Harry is currently trying to do a deal to sign Lass who is unsettled at Real and reportedly had a falling out with Pellegrini

08 Apr 2010 17:33:57
I have just received this information from a credible source at WHL who assured me it is 100 percent true (they have no reason to lie and neither do I) – a deal has been agreed for Palacious to join Real Madrid this summer (hugely gutted as I am a spurs fan). This is sad but true – I do not know the fee. Very bad business by Spurs as Palacious us the DF midfielder they have needed for years.

Rodwell hates everton and WILL move to man utd. Hes sick and tired of being in a rubbish team and man utd know he has the talent to play with us and forget mr moyes and his rubbish side. all everton does take in all the unwanted crap from the top teams.

ALSO BENZEMA is also coming so we are gonna dominate chelsea and liverpool in every match till fergie leaves.

MAN U soldier 4 LYF!(DKHED)

First off although everton are not briliant there not crap, second rodwell is a everton fan and you may say rooney was aswell and he still choose you, but this was totally different because everton werre one position off relagtion i fink so its a obv choice but at the moment everton are currently challenging for the uefa cup so very doubt he will leave everton

Also you won't dominate chelsea and liverpool because even if u sign benzema, torres and drogba are better fact even thou drogba is aging he is still better and even thou torres has been injured most of the season he is still one of the top scorers in the prem and in my opinion i believe he would be top if he has played the same amount of game time as rooney

Further on:
If liverpool are taken over they will sign the majority of these players
– Turan(12mil, will be bought unless he buys silva or mata instead)
– Taiwo(9mil, other targets may be looked at because he will be gone for african nations)
– O Hara(5mil, if other targets arent available and for upcoming rule to have number of english players playing)
– Jovanic(free, done deal)
– Martinez(14.5mil, if rafa will spend that much on a young talent because he is stubbon)
– Ireland(11mil, depends if wanted by new manager of man city in summer)
– Higuain(price depends on whether the club wants to sell because i believe the player will come to club because of his argentine teamates mascherano and maxi)
– kiajer(10mil, will be signed if rafa sees fit to replace srktel or the big greek)

If liverpool are not taken over they will sign the majority of these players
– O Hara(5mil, cheap and for upcoming rule to have number of english players playing)
– Jovanic(free, done deal)
– kiajer(10mil, will be signed if rafa sees fit to replace srktel or the big greek)
– Turan(12mil, to replace reira/benayoun)
– Taiwo(9mil, other targets may be looked at because he will be gone for african nations and they may be priced out)
– Ireland(11mil, depends if wanted by new manager of man city in summer, if lucas is sold aswell)

Out even if liverpool do or don't get taken over:
– Riera(7mil, fell out with rafa)
– benayoun(9mil, only sold if we get bid 9mil+ to fund a replacement)
– srktel or the big greek
– diego calvarie(3mil) sorry for spelling he is reserve keeper
– degen(2mil, kelly and darby used more often and for back up)
– lucas(10mil, only sold if we get good price because rafa rates him highly and because wants to money to buy other players that are british)
– Aqualini (15mil, rafa will access whether he is good enough for the prem if not he will be sold)

Most of this will happen, but who knows rafa may change his mind on who he wants to buy by the summer

In terms of the 'Big 7', that is, the current EPL top 7, there are a few rumours spreading around that are basically untrue, or at least rather unlikely, this is what i personally think will happen:

Arsenal:
It seems certian Chamkh will be at Arsenal next season, but in terms of other signings Wenger has promised, for once, to actually invest money in the first team. I do think Arsenal will try and get a big–name player in, but as Arsenal haven't really spent big over the last few transfer windows (apart from Arshavin) it's hard to gauge how much money is actually available to them and how much they would be willing to part with. As for those leaving, i can see Wenger cutting the older players (Silvestre, Rosicky, Campbell and possibly Gallas) from the aquad and a couple of reserve youngsters, but as for Fabregas, i'm sure he will eventually go to Barcelona, but i doubt it'll be for a couple of seasons. If he does go, then Wenger will have to spend big on a creative central midfielder.

Aston Villa:
Martin O'Neill is quite shrewd in the transfer market and does like to build his own team, seeming to prefer british players where possible. The squad does need expanding for Villa, it seems as though they are again fading when it matters most, and if reports are right, the money is also beginning to dry up at Aston Villa, which will make any transfer dealings harder. Depending on how much money Villa have, it seems as though a deal for one of the three wingers (Young, Milner and Downing) could be used to raise funds, although seeing as only Milner and Heskey seem likely to go to the world cup from Villa, commanding a bigger fee for any of his players will be a tough ask for Martin O'Neill. I don't expect Villa to be too active over the summer, but a couple of good signings and keeping hold of their better players could help them push on next year.

Chelsea:
Another season without the Champions League is probably a failure as far as Abramovich is concerned. Regardless of wether or not Chelsea mange a Premier League/FA Cup double, i think it will be considered a bad season. In terms of transfers, Chelsea always spend plenty of money, i expect that will continue over the summer, but every year they seem to fail in attracting the bigger stars. While Chelsea would like to think they could sign a player as big as Torres or Villa, they consistently miss out. I can't see Aguero, Higuain, Villa or any other big name La Liga star joining Chelsea, but Chelsea could be a potential destination for Edin Dzeko or Angel Di Maria this summer, both wouldcommand huge fees. Going out of the club i expect will be Joe Cole, who i personally think will stay in London, and he could be joined by Kalou, Anelka and Carvalho.

Liverpool:
Money is the issue for Liverpool, top four or not, i sitll think most footballers would choose Liverpool over Villa, City or Spurs given the choice. Benitez seems to still be odds on to stay, and depending on any potential investment coming in to the club, seems determined to invest in big players. Liverpool might have the money for one big player in the plus £20m category and one, maybe two in the £10–20m region. I think Liverpool would be both Aguero and David Silva's prefered destination, but both are going to cost alot of money, and seem rather unlikely at this stage. One player who might be an option is Higuain, he would likely cost £25m, and in spite of a quite incredible season at Madrid it is widely acknowledged he will be on his way. Joining him could possibly be Kolarov and of course Jovanovic. Outs meanwhile will include Riera, Degen and a couple of reserves.

Man City:
Everyone knows Man City have money, and if they make the top four, i would say they are favourites to do so right now, may be able to attract more players. However, i can't see any top names joining the club, no matter how much money they throw at players, as the Kaka fiasco proved, it's not enough. I expect Man City to bid for the likes of Villa, Torres, Aguero, Ribery and to be snubbed every time they do. However, with some wise investments in signing good, less high–profile players around europe i don't see why Man City can't challenge for honours as soon as next season. Going out of the club seems to be Robinho, and i expect that some good, yet less high–profile players will follow. Personally i expect Man City will probably throw money around and end up spending money poorly.

Spurs:
Investment in playing staff at White Heart Lane has been incredibly high over recent seasons, and i expect, regardless of where Tottenham finish, this will continue. However just what calibre of player Tottenham can actually sign seems to be those of good and not great quality. Apart from Modric, Spurs have very few players that would actually command a starting berth at a top–four club (Defoe, Crouch, Kranjcar, Corluka and possibly Lennon i agree would still be good signings for top four clubs, but in terms of the current top four first team squads i personally only thnik Modric would start matches). Still, Harry Redknapp is usuallt quite strong in the transfer market, and might just find a player that could make Spurs a top side. Spurs need a strong, injury–free centre back, which i expect might be someone like Ryan Shawcross, who will be joined by the already–signed Sandro, which could see Palacios or Huddlestone leave.

Well well, it seems like it won't be a galactico summer at OT after all. SAF has always said that he doesn't think the squad needs a complete overhaul, and it seems likely it will stay that way. There will be big changes, but only in midfield

Outs
a. Carrick – possibly in a swap deal
b. Neville and Scholes – retired
c. Danny Simpson – nominal fee (2–3M)
d. Craig Cathcart – nominal fee (2–3M)
e. Welbeck, Diouf, De Laet, Obertan – loans
f. Macheda – SAF will evaluate at the season end, and either he will go on loan or Owen will be sold
g. Berbatov – swap deal or 15M

And Vidic is going nowhere for now

Ins
a. Joe Cole – free
b. Tosic – has been impressive at Cologne, SAF will give him another chance
c. Modric – Carrick swap + 10M (SAF really wants Gourcuff too, but knows he will end up losing any bidding war that might take place)
d. Balotelli – swap with Berba
e. Smalling – agreed already (8M)
f. Hernandez – agreed already (6M)
g. Neymar – done deal, for about (5M)

Apart from these, expect Kuszczak to possibly go to CSKA as a direct replacement for Akinfeev. Park will be used more centrally, and a decision on Anderson will be taken later. However, the big factor is Hargreaves. In case Hargo cannot get fit again, Anderson will definitely go and a defensive mid brought in. Expect a shock move for Guarente from, I think, Atlanta (Fiorentina have already bid 5M for him, so i think 8–10M should about do the trick).

Overall, SAF has at least 50M to spend this summer, expect about 35–40 of it to be spent. And clearly, the priorities are a good striker to partner Rooney, and overhauling the midfield.

PS – Lastly, to all fans criticising SAF for our CL exit and recent slump in league form. get a F grip. Name one manager who would lose two of his best players (and one of them the best in the world) at a time when the squad actually needed improvement and still achieve as much as we have this season. keep the faith and expect a new cycle to start next season.

To all those who are saying man utd are going on a buying spree please read the following "Sir Alex Ferguson has ruled out a mass summer spending spree.

Ferguson's Manchester United transfer budget has been the subject of intense speculation ever since Cristiano Ronaldo's world record £80million move to Real Madrid last year.

Club officials, including Ferguson himself, have continually insisted it is his decision alone to leave the vast majority unspent because he does not believe there is value in the market.

No wholesale buying is needed as we have a very good squad that just needs tweaking here and there, " he said.
so forget all your big signings its not going to happen ARSENAL fans A.W. has never bought loads of players so why start now he will carry on has he usually does in the transfer window and buy maybe 2 possibly three players but he won't go overboard and spend millions that's just not his style .I think the 3 main players during the transfer window will be spurs , chelsea & man city , and to finish a little rumour i heard make of it what you will but the special one has apparently bought a house in alderley edge rumour i heard from an estate agent whether its true or not time will tell

No way Benzema or Rodwell are going to Man U. Very few of you even have the slightest bit of info to base your rumors on, most of it is just speculation.

To the person that said Rodwell is leaving because Everton is crap.. Everton is certainly not crap, they beat Man U 3 – 1 and are having a great season. Moyes is gonna lock him up for at least two years.

Benzema?? Are you kidding? Not Man U.

And also to the people who have Melo on Arsenal next year.. as an Arsenal fan i can say that's not going to happen. They tried last year but that ship has sailed. Neuer could be a definite possibility tho, also Hugo Lloris.

I realize this is rumors and you can't guarantee anything, but Rodwell's not going to Man U.

First of all james mcarthur is not going to celtic not in a million years.his first choice would be rangers but it looks like hes off to west brom. second rangers will not be run by the bank after the summer. all money made from league win cl money and half the player sales money will go straite to the debt. the other half will go on players. lafferty is goin on loan to linfield for 6 months.

Mark Hughes to be the manager. Neil Lennon and Mialby to be assistants

First of all, Mark Hughes wants 25–30 mill to spend and yous are broke. Thats why lennon is getting the job and if you think lennon can win the league youve got another poor season ahead. Keane doesn't want to stay and wouldn't be aloud anyway. Too expensive. Darron Gibson is in the man u 1st team now and sir alex isn't wanting him out on loan. And selling no 1 and spending 11M plus the cost of gibson and keane with no europe!! Never in a million years . Keep dreaming cos when the summer comes youll just have built yourself up for a big let down!

And any 1 posting rumours that Davis is going back to fulham for 4M!! If mcgready is worth 9M then Davis isn't worth 4M you idiots!! Rangers don't need to sell everyone quickly for any price we just need to keep paying bank 1M per season and make profit.
Finally can people stop posting garbage that man u are signing ribery and villa!! Y would any1 want to play in england and give half their wage to our government when theres plenty of demand in la liga!!

Liverpool is about to tender a 3.1 million pound fee for Boca Jrs./Atletico Bucumuranga defender Breyner Bonilla. He is the real deal, and will be a great replacement for Carragher eventually.

ARSENAL:

In
Chamakh FREE
Joe Hart £7million
Centre back £5–15million
Nordveit LOAN RETURN
Wilshere LOAN RETURN

OUT
Almunia £1million
Silvestre FREE
Senderos FREE
Merida FREE
Eduardo £6million

Perhaps Wenger could be reluctant to have a net spend (rather than profit) from transfers and therefore potential offers of £20million for Clichy from Madrid and £30million+ offers for Arshavin maybe be considered.

Any movement for Cesc this summer would require a bid of more than that of Kaka, £55million+.

I have it on great authority that Manchester United are getting in four cheap young talents this summer and are in the process of completing two signings as we speak, one of them i assume is Hernandez? they will also be spending big on one single player, i have not got a clue who they will bring in, although United have already signed Smalling & Hernandez! so if my sources are correct, then expect two more cheap young talents plus a massive signing all to arrive at Old Trafford this summer!
