To those of you saying Ronaldo will leave Man Utd, get real. he wants to beoome a legend at OT and is well on his way in fact. he also does not want to play second fiddle to the likes of Ronaldino and Messi at Barca or link up with RVN in Madrid. Another reason he won't be going to Spain: stability, Madrid lack any comprehension of the word w/ the revolving doors of coaches there, it is hard to see where the club is going and at Barca, talk of Rijkard (speling) going back to Milan. talk of him going anywhere is from the boardroom, not the managers. Ultimately it is what they want that decides think. He will learn a ton from Fergie and would be mutually beneficial to both He will stay at Man Utd for the next 2-3 seasons and then re-evaluate when it comes time for a contract extension. With regards to Man Utd's transfer situtatoin, Hamburg will be the team to raid this summer, should they be relegated, with the likes of Kompany, deJong, van der Vaart all available at cut-rate prices and replacements for the aging stars. Kompany is young enough to adapt to play RD for neville, deJong in the holding midfield role and van der Vaart to replace Scholes. These players would all be available for 5-7 million GBP. The likes of Huntleear (spelling) Torres, Bale, Nani, Mountinho, Hargreaves, and possible even Robben to replace Giggs will all be associated with the Red Devils. Clearouts will be Silvestre, Fletcher, Smith, Larsson (loan return), Richardson, Howard (loan made pernament) and look for the likes of Pique, Evans, Rossi, Foster and Bardsley to once again to be loaned out to top level clubs.

Just to Clarify a few things that I know -not just heard.
1st: Man Utd have been after Tim Cahill for a while now - have put forward many offers (i think the highest was 13mill) but Everton have always flatly refused. Quite simply they do not want to sell him as they view him as an integral part of their team - more so than Rooney was.
2nd: Guus has not agreed to take over Chelsea, depsite what people say on this site. He may still do so in the summer, but after speaking with him yesterday, it looks unlikely.
and finally to those rumours about Henry going to Liverpool. It is just fantasy. I don't know Henry or anyone at Arsenal, but if he turned down Barcelona, why on earth would he go to a team like Liverpool just 6/ 12 months later. Quite simply, it aren't going to happen!
Following the signing of Ronaldo from Real Madrid, AC Milan boss Carlo Ancelotti has decided to allow Ricardo Oliveira to return to La Liga in the summer. The former Real Betis and Valencia striker has struggled to replace Andriy Shevchenko since joining last July, and is apparently eager to return to Spain. Ronaldo will become the partner for Alberto Gilardino and Oliveira won't want to be a bench warmer, so a move back to La Liga seems likely. Valencia could be interested in buying him back, while surprisingly Barcelona might make a bid with Eidur GudJohnsen not performing since his switch to Camp Nou.
There is a chance that Bastian Schweinsteiger will join Liverpool altough it is more likely that Benitez will pounce for Holland star Rafael Van Der Vaart. Expect him to make the DOUBLE dutch signing of Van Der Vaart and Huntelaar in the summer to add to the existing Dutchman - Kuyt. Expect him to get rid of Zenden with Mascherano winning his place.

he was born and raised in London, and while yes this would suggest he is a man you fan, he is a Spurs fan and famous for it. he applied there when he was released as a trainee but they said no, before he went to Luton.

Rafa Benitez has been promised that cash will be made available for the players he needs for the team - there is no transfer budget as such (it's a case of "tell us who you want and you can have them") . There will be no mass buying or clear out as the team has good foundations but needs a few additions. David Villa IS a target as Rafa has been interested in signing him since he played for Real Zaragoza. Reina is not part of any deal. Mascherano will sign a permanent deal in the summer if he impresses during his loan spell. Daniel Alves, Simao Sabrosa and Bastian Schweinsteiger are all targets. Rafa will look to buy young players for the future as well. Players reported to be leaving are, Dudek, Fowler (will take a coaching role at Melwood), Hyypia, Zenden and some youth players (loans) .
