Old firm has completely outgrown the spl, and has a huge amount to offer English football. Playmaker Stephane Sessegnon, is reportedly unhappy at Sunderland as he feels it is hard to settle and the Benin international looks set to talk to French side Nice. Non league rumour - Combined Counties 1st Division side South Kilburn are to be forcibly demoted to the Middlesex Premier Division next season for continually lying about their full time results to the FA.
Also, there will be FIVE new sides in the CCL1 next season:

Chertsey Town Reserves
Virginia Water (will have lights for 2012/13)

I was in the Swindon Town Directors Box today, and asked Jeremy Wray if the rumours about Ross Allen coming to The County Ground were true.
Jeremy confirmed that the club are interested in him and they are working on a deal to bring him to Swindon.

This isn't a football rumour it's a football fact. Jordan Rhodes WILL be sold in January. The only thing that could prevent that would be a serious injury to the lad.
Unfortunately for Huddersfield fans, scoring 5 goals on Live TV, when your one of the most hyped and talked about players, at the beginning of a transfer window in front of dozens of football scouts, representing teams in higher leagues than yourselves, is not the way to ensure that you will not be sold.
I don't doubt that Rhodes loves Huddersfield and I'm sure he'll always be grateful to them but when the Sunderland's, Newcastle's, West Ham's, Leicester's, Leeds' (presuming Bates can find his cheque book), Celtic's, Ranger's just to mention a few come in for him he'll be long gone.

I'm a diehard fan but realistically until we are back in Champions League, which may be a couple of seasons away, Liverpool will not attract these European based big name players. They have tons of other top clubs interested who can guarantee CL. The focus will be on attracting young talent in England and S America.
