I was the one who said Rafa has only bought 5 good players.First of all Crouch Alonso Aberola Garcia (isnt good anyway) Bellamy where are they all..gone!!Remember the Robbie Keane deal.bet spurs fans are still laughing at Liverpool.Mascherano is good but always gets booked and he is always crying bout something.20 milion thank you get out is what id say.
Johnson isn't a player for a side who should be up for the title and even thou he won medals at chelsea he didn't realy play.
Skertyl isn't good always out of position.
Yeah when Babel went to Liverpool he was ment to be the next big thing.Good man management Rafa.
And PLEASE PLEASE tell me you were joking when you said Lucas is good. The mans a clown.
Riera has realy chiped in with goals this year.Yeah brilliant signing.haha
Aqua is so good Rafa wouldn't start him in a full strengh team thou i would have him/anyone infront of Lucas.
Maxi hasnt proved anything yet.
Reina Torres Agger are quality players that he has bought that could be in a championship winning team.Plus Kuyt has realy improved to be fair to him.
By the way u left out Yossi Benayoun but again he is a player that is a solid player for a top 8 team and Liverpool want to win the league.
Are you seeing what im saying the Liverpool squad is full of average players and even the players like Crouch Bellamy Aberola are decent nothing more.
So the 5 he has bought that could realy help win championships are Reina Agger Kuyt Torres Mascherano the rest should be squad players not starting everyweek.

Fellow Rangers fan. I think you are being a bit harsh on saying Ireland is the anus of the UK as you put it. The island of Ireland outside the big cities such as Belfast & Dublin is extremely beautiful with very friendly people. Everyone is entitled to their opinion as you are but I disagree.

Lol i'm sure if you asked many Celtic fans 99.9 percent of them would claim Ireland isn't in the UK, which is correct. Therefore if you are talking about Northern Ireland which is in the UK and is a seperate country from Ireland then its a tad disrespectful to the N.Irish fans that travel to Ibrox week in week out, not to mention a few of our players. You do realise we play in Glasgow don't you lol. As much as I love Glasgow, there are parts of it that you could certainly class as the anus of the world. I still love the place though.

Anyway not trying to start an argument with you, just giving my opinion. The column I was referring to by the way was in Hugh Keevins Hotline in the Daily Ranger (you know what I mean, but I don't think the ed likes to quote names) {editor's note – names are fine mate, quite happy for sources to be quoted as an author deserves to have their work acknowledged.}

17 Mar 2010 20:18:06
I do disagree with what my fellow Rangers fan said about Ireland. But he is 100% correct in saying all the Celtic fans think they are Irish. The amount of people I know in Glasgow who claim dual nationality because of a grandparent they haven't even met. My family and I have often had the conversation of what is this obsession people have?? It is hilarious when some guy you have met in a pub in Glasgow called Paddy proceeds to go on about his dual nationality because of his grandad and how he visits Belfast or Londonderry twice a year and loves it. I know so many people like this in Glasgow. Yes I understand the big amounts of Irish that came over years ago. But Americans & Scottish people have this cringe worthy thing about going on about how they have some link to the island of Ireland. Real Irish people genuinely do laugh at it.

To the arse who said rafas only bought 5 good players ie pepe/masch/torres/johnson/agger/arilio/skytle/alonso/garcia/arbeloa/crouch/aqua maybe/world class and then ryan maxi bellamy lucas riera good players . plus all the good young players hes bought which youll start to see come through in the next 18 months 2 years.keep the faith soul man.

17 Mar 2010 20:17:24
I don't think Lucas is that bad, SOS. Maybe he's not top–4, but he almost certainly is good enough for the PL. He's Liverpool's Hibbert, Neville or Osman. He's too an easy a target.

He's a decent squad player in my opinion.

COYB!!

17 Mar 2010 19:35:04
To the poster that said Forest would get Gunter for an undisclosed fee in the Summer. What a load of rubbish. We bought him LAST summer!

17 Mar 2010 19:39:51
Whats all the fuss about lucas , he is not good enough for liverpool if they want to win things, would any manager in the top 10 put him in the 1st team , i doubt it and defo would not want him at everton. its not just me saying it its a lot of liverpool fans, you judge people over a season not a few games.

"In a paper today someone actually claimed Rangers were deliberately forcing replays in the cup matches just to gain extra money" I never seen the paper today but i believe some moronic Celtic fan would say this!! Celtic fans get dumber by the day!! They will all be out tonight "celebrating" St Patricks pretending they are Irish (dont know why they want to be Irish, they are the anus of the uk!) and talking about the establishment and refs! To the person that 'heard form a friend that is an accountant at RBOS' Your friend is very mis–guided, Gillette & Hicks refinanced last year and banked on winning either EPL or champs league. that is true, however the club only has debts of £231m (if you don't believe me read the article featured in the times online, they did a piece about one of the proposed bids on 15/03/10) the much reported £500m debt is including the cost of building the new stadium, and as that work has not started the money is not yet owed out! If your friend does indeed work for RBOS he would have therefore known that RBOS did not accept the yanks terms and demanded that the debt is cut by £100m by june or they will default. Hence the reason Cristian Purslow has admitted that his main job is to find investment.
Liverpool will have investment before the start of next season, likely from America (NOT AGAIN!) they are already proposing a new manager, a descent amount of money for transfers, not enough to replace all of the deadwood mind, but enough to make a difference. all of this is to get the fans onboard as they are more intelligent than the current owners and appreciate the hostillity that they could receive as more american owners.

17 Mar 2010 18:56:31
Truth Teller, you omit one factor in your argument. Players do the strangest things that no person can legislate for. You can talk all you like about tactics etc but players are human beings and once they cross that white line, sometimes what the manager says goes to sh*t (i used the * this time ed!). It shouldn't i know and by and large the better the player the less likely it does happen. But just watch all the goals on a Saturday night on MOTD and that show on afterwards. How many goals are from individual errors? Bloody all of them! If the players did everything managers told them, you won't see any errors, any temper tantrams on the bench, no cups of tea being chucked etc. I mean you don't honestly think Rafa sends the players out to play like they did against Wigan? But they did! But throw pressure, expectation, lack of confidence, desparation into the mix and human beings act very strangely. Rafa will tell you as it will apply to him also! But who cares LFC will get a pasting on Sunday! Malcolm Bob Glazer who on Sunday will have a great deal for the likes of RAINY buy one cup of bovril and get the other double the price!

17 Mar 2010 18:46:04
To the Arsenal wanting to know why we want Rafa to buy more players. How many European Cups is it that Wenger has won? IN FACT HOW MANY HAVE ARSENAL WON EVER. Rafas record head to head with Wenger since 2005 is better. More trophies more points similiar net spend. Wake up and stop trotting out everything you read in the gutter press.

17 Mar 2010 18:19:33
Scottish football should do 3 simple things, Firstly, change to summer football, limit the number of players at each club and change the league set up to something similar to the US NFL system. ie 16 teams split into two confs of 8 teams, play each team in your own conf twice, giving 14 games and play teams in other conf once, giving 8 games, a total of 22 league games. short break then the top 4 in each conf play home and away giving another 14 games, giving 36 games in total. the bottom 4 in each conf would do the same to sort out the relegation issues. other teams would then be in a pyramid system.
can't be any worse than the standard at present

I take the point, Gazza. But then if the kids aren't listening to Dad, then I wonder why Dad has lost control. Ultimately, the buck stops with the parent. The parent is responsible, to a very large degree, in instilling the right attitude into their wee darlings.

The Truth Teller

17 Mar 2010 18:19:03
Truth teller you say rafas to blame for this season you don't say why.yes hes made some misstakes but all managers do. some liverpool fans blame rafa for everything from the banks going bust to high taxes. i don't have my head in the sand i just look at the overall picture and the games not just the results.keep the faith soul man.

Surely your argument is backwards truth teller. Surely the players have to take responsibility as well as Rafa? Its a strange analogy but if Rafa is dad then I don't think the kids are listening at times, no? Gazman

17 Mar 2010 17:50:24
The point being made, Rover, is whether Rafa is culpable for the slide this season. Many people, including me, numerous neutrals, journalists, and a considerable amount of Liverpool fans, do hold Rafa ultimately responsible. That doesn't mean that he can't turn things around, or that you could replace him with a better option. It simply means that Rafa has made a pig's ear of this season.

The Truth Teller

PS: I do think you can do better. But my original point was simply being made against people that like to bury their heads in the sand.

17 Mar 2010 17:27:27
Some nonsense posted on this site about L'pool. Looks like Rafa will go at the end of this season; which is a shame as we will lose some of our best first team players as well as some half decent youth team players and coaching staff.
Expect the following players to have left by the beginning of next season:
Reina
Mascherano
Torres
Lucas (actually starting to look like he could be some player)
Skirtel
Pacheco {editor's note – speaking of nonsense! None of these players will leave if Rafa goes, they might be sold by a new manager, but not one of them is staying because of Rafa.}

17 Mar 2010 17:37:10
Ok Truth Teller!!
I'll buy into your " Liverpool fans need to enter the real world"
So we get rid of Benitez in the summer! So who do we get in his place & why should the new guy get the job? Are you of the opinion that anyone is better than Rafa? A change is better than what we have at the moment?

To the jokers that have appeared lately defending Rafa. Look, I hope you guys never have kids, because they'll turn into sodding nightmares since your judgement is completely related to what your fantasies are. You're like those parents that just see no wrong whatsoever with their kids. Despite the fact that 'little Jimmy' has been robbing old ladies, you'll still blame someone else. The same goes with your defence of Rafa.

Give it up, and join the rest of us in the real world.

Rafa is depending on the class with Man Utd to see if he stays or goes to Real Mdrid with either Guardiola or Mcliesh or Del Brosque now the top 3 candiates

Aqualani good performance has put lucas for sale if rafa is manager or not
Outs:
Lucas 5m
Plessis 3m
Degen 3m
carragher 10m
Gerrad 30m

Ins:
Kjear 18m
Jovanic free
Charles Nzogbia 5m
Miguel Veloso 8m
D.Bent 10m
Quaresma P/e

With New owners coming in Torres isn't leaving Gerrad is though

thats a load of horse crap mate carra for 10 million with only a year left on his contract the bloke is not worth that with 10 years on his conract, lucas has proved to be worth at least 10mil and gerrard is going nowhere

investment is 3 weeks away and will not be rhone group going to be a big summer for liverpool but not for rafa.

17 Mar 2010 16:44:49
Rasone the best post ive read on hear for a while rafas not to blame for this season .no other top manager would have done as much as rafas done under the two cowboys.weve had bad luck /bad injurys/players of form.keep the faith soul man

17 Mar 2010 16:30:22
What an idiot tick tock is for saying rafa will be here next season based on G+H recognising a manager can have one bad season, but then saying they are out. how then can rafa be guarenteed to be here next season wen if you are correct we have new owners.

most of the posts on here start credible and then the greedy little posters think they will get their name on the internet so go on and ruin their somewhat valid opinion by saying something contradictory in the next sentence, highlighting they know naff all.

jimbojones

p.s i here phil thompson is in line for a coaching role at anfield next season in a return to the boot room glory days.

also i hear that soccer saturday have renewed geoff stellings and phil thomsons contract to do midweek and saturdays which means thommo is moving down south.

damn my argument was plausible til that second part.

17 Mar 2010 15:15:49
Yes the Rangers performance in Europe was poor this season. The early part of the season Rangers were not playing well at all, being top of the league was just disguising this fact.

Rangers started to play a bit shortly after being knocked out of th CL and started to go further and further ahead of Celtic with relative ease. One defeat this season says it all.

Celtics poor performance has made it easier, but even if they were playing good they would still be truggling to keep up with a team with only 1 defeat to their name all season, but they would be there or thereabouts. Even putting aside their failure to beat Rangers since 2008 in the league. They dropped points to Kilmarnock, Hearts, Hibs Falkirk twice, Aberdeen. 50% of the SPL have taken points from Celtic this season some of which are in the bottom 3 of the table.

As for their blaming refs and complaining to the SPL and claiming there is an establishment that has been set up to make sure Glasgow Rangers win the league, well what can you say to that. Some Celtic supporters I know very well are embarrassed by the idiotic claims made by fellow supporters and chairmen of the club. In a paper today someone actually claimed Rangers were deliberately forcing replays in the cup matches just to gain extra money. Honestly, a fan claimed this in a hotline column this morning. Where is the dignity of some fans disappearing too??

17 Mar 2010 15:23:40
Liverpools debts are 237 million not 400 million u fuck*n lap dog. wot u pricks don't realise is that liverpool football club is an international globaly famous historical football club and a worldwide household name. nothin like leeds united who r only known nationally. so liquidation is as likely as portsmouth winning next seasons premier league and champions league double. ther realy is some muppets about.

17 Mar 2010 15:48:22
What's with people's obsessions with naming team's first choice 11 for next season? This is not even based on speculation, it's pure fantasy. Even if the names of one, or several players have been linked with a team, you can have no idea if a transfer will be completed based on the fact that fees and the players desire to sign for a club can, and often seem to, hinder deals.

Some guy reckons Higuain will be the one to suffer the fall–out of Real Madrid's failings in Europe. Not sure if he has watched much Spanish football this season, but he has been their best player, eclipsing even Ronaldo so far. I can hardly see them sacrificing one of their star players and £30 Million isn't much compared to the kinda fees that other players appear to be commanding.

Another chap thinks Carragher will be leaving Liverpool for £10 Million. You are kidding right?? It may have escaped notice that he has struggled to come close to the standards he has set over the last 4–5 years and his age suggests that he is unlikely to. Who is going to pay £10 Million for him? I notice you failed to mention that.

I'd love to know where some of these idea's come from. The only obvious one is Football manager. It's strange how many people know of, or just happen to overhear agents shouting into Mobile phones about the next mega–deal. In many cases it seems that this site knows more than the managers and clubs who are involved in these deals.

It keeps us all entertained though!

17 Mar 2010 14:55:52
What a load of Bolxxks from some of the so called Liverpool fans on here. If indeed they are liverpool fans, and nor bitters or the scum hiding!!

1st we do not know when or even if Rafa is leaving!!

2nd anyone saying they know is a SIMPLE LIAR!

3rd Lucas is not poor, bad or stupid, we may not like the system Rafa plays, with two defensive
midfield players, but that does not make Lucas bad. in fact check the player ratings. He is going to be a very good player in the not to distant future, as they say in "Rafa we Trust"

This years team has hardly change from last year. Alonso, Arbiloa out, Aquiman, Johnson in.

3 weeks ago fans on here saying Aquiman was crap, light weight and a waste of money ect, one good game against Portsmouth, suddenly he's a world beater, and should play every game.

We have had a terrible season for injury, never had one worse, Quite a few of the senior players have also been in poor form for long periods, i.e. Gerrard.

And yet the man some fans turn on is the Manager.

Dont get me wrong if you have a bad manager, get rid, and replace him with better. Can anyone name 5 managers with better records over the last 6–7 years.

Rafa has been hogtide by the financial situation at the club, sometimes players he wanted have not arrived, while others he had no interest in have been purchased by the powers that be, i.e.Keane.

He has led us the a Cup Final, winning it. To two Champions League Finals, winning one, in the Greatest match I have ever seen, and he has never been outside the top 5 in the League. All with basically one hand tide behind his back.

Yes he has made mistakes, but not enough for the wave of hostility, he receives from the few short sighted Liverpool fans who have turned on him, very short memories you lot.

We all know that the problem lies in the Boardroom, so just because Dicks and Bic–razer, are keeping there heads down, lets not turn on the Manager!, or the players, its not the Liverpool way.

No worries ed, a colleague started us off my calling us over to show us some of the rumours that were being left on your sight, we in turn started to post what had been filtered to us! we do have more than one computer ed but most of the time it may be three or five of us that discuss what is sent down to us and yes it always goes through his computer! unbelievable ehh ed, the straw clutching game isn't one we rally like to play so like i said i/we would like to continue using your site which we find entertaining and sometimes informative so if it pleases you we would like to continue? {editor's note – you are very welcome on the site, just my natural suspicion assuming it was someone trying to play a fast one.}

17 Mar 2010 14:20:12
As far as Im aware the managers are involved with meeting with the SPL about it . I know Walter Smith has said he wants 16 teams . which means Jimmy Calderwood will as well haha ! . Mowbray states that he thinks a revamp is needed but didn't say what he would prefer i would guess that every team outwith the SPL would be for it (18 teams or 16 teams) its the most logical way forward it would seem. there really isn't much difference at all between bottom 6 teams in the SPL and the top 4 in the 1st division

The bigwigs know that the split aint working and im pretty confident that it will done with shortly ..

To the idiot that wrote

Heard from a accountant mate at RBOS that liverpools debt will spiral out of control if the money from the CL isn't there come may. apparently the americans have arranged it so they are not peronally liable for the debts as its in a company called kop holdings that means they may try threaten liquidisation in order to get out of paying the 400 million debt owed by kop holdings. this will mean administation unless a investor is willing to buy out the club for 500m wich is very unlikley therefore a probable outcome is a fans takeover much like what united fans are trying to do.

The latest accounts for KOP holdings showed the debt to be £236 million and part of the agreement for the upcoming refinancing package is that a further £100 million is payed off the debts. You can find this info with just a little bit of research online, so please just think about stuff before you post. Even if you are just making stuff up make the posts credible first

17 Mar 2010 14:04:22
Why is the Scottish League allowed to continue with its 12 team league. Surely it would make more sense to have 2 Leagues of 20 with three being relegated every season. More cash would also be generated for the smaller clubs having the opportunity to play Celtic and Rangers at home. The Scottish league is drab, dismal and predictable. At least a reshape of the league would create a bit of new interest at the very least?

17 Mar 2010 13:58:15
Wilshere to Everton for £5m? If you lot reckon Rodwell's worth £30m then you'll be expected to pay the same for Wilshere pal! No chance of him being sold. Especially with the long term injury to Aaron Ramsey. Wilshere will be on the bench at The Emirates next season having gained valuable experience at Bolton. We develop quality talent for our ourselves at AFC, not to sell on to wannabee's like EFC! Quite possibly the biggest load of crap posted in the last week or so! Try again numpty.

Someone claiming Pep Guardiola is top of Liverpool's list when Rafa ups and leaves: WHY? As if he's going to leave Barca, a club he captained and has managed, winning the Champions League and breezing La Liga! I'm sure the prospect of leaving the biggest club in the world for the biggest joke in the world is such a tempting one right now! Dreamers..

Oh and for the fella wanting realistic rumours on LFC Manager and players this summer –
Manager: Phil Brown (well he's free now!)
Players: anyone not costing a penny and prepared to play in the Europa League again (at best!). There you go – that IS realistic! There's NO magic Arabs, NO Indian sugar Daddies – Nothing. Nada. Zip. Zilch. You're stuck with twit n tw*t! Enjoy.

Dear ed, actually i am a rugby fan what you do not see is that where we work we leave this site open! their are about 8 of us that use it to post things/rumours that filter through our office hence the reason no names are ever posted! on a personal note i think the site is great but why would i claim to be something that i am not? and why not be someone such as an agent/lawyer/ friend or reporter? and what reason would i go as far as to cribb? it was not cribbed at all and as for a rambling where does it ramble? just clearly states a meeting where one person spoke about football also if you are assuming the phone call that took place regarding mourinho and jol? why not? they always got on when in the company of each other! if you read most post's on her from liverpool fans or arsenal fans not forgetting the racial tension regarding celtic, everton and rangers you clearly have your priorities aimed in the wrong direction! now just because it sounds as you imagine it does it nowhere near comes as far fetched as someone standing in an airport in outer mongolia and all of a sudden he spots a liverpool rep and a rep from the messi camp? now how come you never report how stupid that is? or is it because its froma liverpool fan? now we would like to keep posting on here so i will not go on any further so thank you for your reply and will no doubt cross swords again all the very best
Emag {editor's note – so you all use the exact same email address to post with? Seems highly unlikely, to the point of unbelievable to me!}

And NCS, The Topiarist, Mr Benn, Me Bean (remember him?), Rikkisixx, etc,

But both Everton and Celtic have been bad, The Pube. So you're not wholly wrong this time. I think both will fare better next season, though.

I will also admit that, despite all the pressures at Rangers, the club has done well this season. It was a dreadful little episode in the CL, but your domestic form has been very good. In particular, your goal difference dwarfs Celtic's, which is even more of an indicator of your form this season.

COYB (looking through his wife's sock draw)!!

17 Mar 2010 13:44:09
LOL!! Ok ed, I will stick to the football and get off the topic of COYB's birds socks.

Funny how the worst Gers man in the world tinks he, COYBigot & Truth Teller are everyone on this site lol.

Right football only. Everton are mince and so are Celtic

17 Mar 2010 13:46:22
Yeah i think 16 teams is the way forward . we don't need all the leadues we have for the size of country . by the end of this season we will have played Dundee tud and St Mirren 6 times ! teams must be gettin bored. When you watch the cup games where rangers and celtic play teams from lower leagues u can see there aint a huge gulf in difference between them and the other premier league teams. Less games in a season as well would perhaps make us a little stronger in Europe and with games always gettin called of during the winter it would mean there are more breaks available to re–shedule games.

also i think it could benefit the smaller teams in the league as they would play the bigger teams less as well meaning they would prob pick up more points a season.

It needs freshing up big time u get so bored see–ing the same stuff over and over again. The split makes the league look ametuerish at best god knows what confused looks outsiders must have wen they see the team in 7th with more points than the team in 6th !!

GTID {editor's note – is it likely to happen though?}

17 Mar 2010 13:38:04
I have heard some absurd fee's quoted on here, Eduardo fee's ranging from 10–14m, before his injury he was probably only worth 10m maximum, so for someone to say 14m after he has broken his leg really need their heads tested, he is extremely injury prone, any team would be taking a risky gamble! I think he may be used in a part exchange deal, but if he is sold, his fee will be around the 5–6m mark!

Someone quoted 10m for Carragher on here, he is 32 years old, he plays his heart out for Liverpool but if he played for anyone else, he would go to sh*t! If he is sold it will be for a mere 1m or he may even go for free!

I can understand people hoping for more money than the player is worth but lets get real people, If Carragher is worth 10m at 32, what is Rio Ferdinand worth at 31? 20m? SILLY PEOPLE WITH SILLY FEE'S!

17 Mar 2010 13:23:32
Have seen loads of transfer predictions today regarding The Celtic, but a few are far–fetched while others are contradictory at least.
Boruc is apparently discussing a new deal, so is this to ensure a half decent transfer fee?
Brown being given the arm–band would also appear to be a negotiating tool according to some?
McGeady may well leave as he has 'seen it and done' it in the SPL. Samaras should be sold on e–Bay ASAP! Naylor and Wilson have been replaced a few times and will move. While Caddis and McGinn may lose patience waiting in the wings if they don't get a run in the team.
Braffheid will not stay, Kamara wants to remain.
Keane will go back to Tottenham, promising to return 'one day'. Zhi and McCourt will consider their future's in the Summer after things not going exactly the way they had hoped.
Personally, if we finish the campaign 13 pts or more behind Rangers we will have went back to the pre–O'Neill Celtic and that frankly, won't do.
I will find it difficult to back the Mowbray fella, but I will support my team as always;
Jinky Fan

Fair do's ed we should put a lid on it its hard not to reply to him tho (there must be a reason why EVERYONE has a go at him) he's like that rash u know u shouldnt itch ..

anyway back to ur point for the last 4 weeks yeah the SPL has been boring as hell . the season is finished almost apart from the scottish cup with the gers looking to win the league before the (rather embarassing) split . heres to a 16 team league hopefully.

GTID {editor's note – would increasing the number of teams make it more competitive or less so? I mean would Rangers and Celtic just pull further ahead with more lesser teams to beat? And what idiot thought up that split thing? Who in their right mind could possibly see that as a sensible and intelligent way to sort out a league season?}

Soz Ed, The Pube just makes me laugh. LOL.

Ngiak only has two names, Bunty. These are: Ngiak and Gan.

Back to the footy. I'm tipping United for the league. I've just got a feeling about it. I still haven't the faintest idea of fourth, though. I change between Liverpool and City. Today I think Liverpool might just nick it. With City drawing yet another game the other day, I wonder whether they have the ability or experience to keep going. At least Liverpool do possess that experience, and you would expect the players like Masch, Gerrard, Reina and Torres to really step it up now.

Then again, Villa are sneaking up there. And Spurs, too.

Everton won't finish higher than 8th, unfortunately. We dropped too many vital points early in the season. That means no Europa, which may even be a good thing.

COYB (talking about football)!!

I cannot believe that Cheshire tycoon Rob Lloyd is fronting a consortium to take over Pompey! This guy's present company has fallen apart over the last year, he struggled in the house building sector and now wants to buy a premiership club!! Why the hell didn't he invest in his local team Chester City before they were wiped off??

Naaaaa it defo has to be COYB's wifes sock, my dad was there on the Sunday and it was Saturday I found the sock. My dad prefers purple anyway. The only bird that wears polka–dots is yours COYB, she always had the matching set from top to bottom. I thought I was kinky, but seeing her lie there next to my bird & Jessica begging me to play Timmy Mallets itsy bitsy teeny weeny record is freaky, but I like them like that. "SHE WORE AN ITSY BITSY TEENY WEENY YELLOW POLKA–DOT SOCKS, THAT SHE LEFT ON BY BED LAST FRIDAY" {editor's note – ok enough of this now from all of you, it's boring and has nothing to do with footie. Yes that means COYB, NCS, GTID etc too! Has the Scottish Prem become that much of a procession that you can't even find something to talk about to do with it instead of socks ffs!}

Cant believe the ed decided to pass this one over?? the amount of tripe you get on here and then goes and passes this one over?
i work for a large company in canwharf, the thing is im a rugby fan first and foremost! a colleague of mine is on his honeymoon and asked me to fill in on his appointment? (we do the same job the study of pleonasm), after last night's game i spent some time in the company of mourinho! i didn't get to talk to him apart from hello and goodbye really the conversation was left to fellow work rep's ( i was just making the numbers up really/ the conversation my work mate would have spoken was taken over my some other colleague), mourinho was very well spoken and spoke of his passion for the game, the chat soon got serious about football and i got the impression that he may well decide to remain in italy? i do know that he will not join liverpool or manchester united! he likes to build from his own foundations? a man who chooses to pick his own materials! and mould his own creation! with the conversation directed to liverpool it seemed that he was once a fan? he spoke that if the club was bought it would only be done so as a play thing to which he had no desire to partake? nearing the end on the short meeting mourinho took a phone call from a martin jole? with mourinho joking that and that i quote " when and it will be a when? i will succeed where you failed"??? this post will have no bearing on my future with the company i work for at all.

Emag

ps, pleonasm, a use of more words than are needed. {editor's note – you are a regular poster trying to claim to be a rugby fan, hardly something to be posted! If you have cribbed this from somewhere else at least be honest and admit it, because otherwise it is clearly utter and complete rubbish. It isn't even delusional enough to be funny, just pointless rambling about nothing.}

What, Pube's daddy gave him the sock, or something else?

17 Mar 2010 12:36:04
The pink sock will be The Pube's. His daddy gave it to him.

17 Mar 2010 12:30:54

They want to hire STEVE COPPELL with wally downes, dougie freedman, john pembroton has his backroom staff

Parish group is 5 people they are:

YAAAAAAAAS!! COYB has said that Scotlands 2nd most succesful team will win the league! He was miles wrong thi year with is predictions so glad to see him making another daft prediction. We welcome the chase!! 53 & counting, its too easy.

One prediction I can certainly make is Evertom will NOT win anything again next season lol. When was the last time?? 1995 lol. 15 years!! No wonder you have to try and support other teams COYBigot lol. Did any of your 10 teama win the league this year?? Salt lake city, Fiorintina, Celtic, Everton lol. Your not even good at being a glory hunter. By the way, your wife aint missing a pink polka dot sock is she?

17 Mar 2010 12:20:20
Oh how ironic was it to see Drogba getting a piece of what he dishes out all last night from Samuels and Lucio. We have all had to put up with his cheating, diving, falling over, all his fits and spasms on the ground, whilst at the same time proving virtually impossible to knock off the ball when he decides he wants to stand up. He can give it but he can't take it as he proved yet again last night. He is a disgrace. I hope when he got home he found Terry's car already in the driveway. But a quick mention about Sneijder. I posted after the first leg how impressive he was, well last night he was even better. Why did this kind of flair player not attract Benitez when Madrid were after Alonso? Malcolm Bob Glazer thought about hiking up the prices on the scarf's but seriously they are just not selling (got a job lot of 75, 000 and i've only sold 20,000) making a loss on that one. Thought it'd be better subscribed. Still a fair amount of interest is coming in from our supporters in Norfolk. Wonder why?

17 Mar 2010 12:23:19
Bojan to Celtic?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!

Are you fg serious?!?!? Get a grip you pillock.

ARE YOU INSANE? ROY HODGSON WOULD BE AN EXCELLENT REPLACEMENT FOR RAFA, I WOULD BE AN IDEAL REPLACEMENT FOR RAFA LOL! ON A SERIOUS NOTE I WOULD LOVE ROY HODGSON TO TAKE OVER FROM FERGIE WHEN THE OLD GENIUS RETIRES!

17 Mar 2010 11:43:44
MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! Atleast I know when and who our team are playing half a fan lol. I also no the correct name of our players unlike you you little hibs fan in disguise. Your not even a full tim, just a wee one.

Just to clear this up, I only do buy top of the range blow up dolls anyway, but unfortunatley I still manage to burst them. I freakier than you could ever imgine. Me, the girlfriend, COYB's wife (cos I like the older woman) and the blow up doll (I call the doll jessica) Our Saturday nights are wild. I do however prefer the baldy dolls, I like my greasy pubes to be centre of attention. mmmmmmmmmmm crackers n pubes can beat it!!

It's sexual tension I think, GTID. That girl of his got a puncture, and The Pube didn't have a puncture repair kit. So he's taking it out on us.

Message to The Pube: get a deluxe model next time, lad. One of those with real synthetic hair! I'm sure it will last longer.

think he uses this site to vent all of his real life dissapointments !! u'd think havin all that "money" and a nice "place in merchant city" for him and his "gal" would leave him humble in life. who knows maybe just maybe he is just embellishing the truth just a little . perhaps :oP

To the guy who said this

Heard from a accountant mate at RBOS that liverpools debt will spiral out of control if the money from the CL isn't there come may. apparently the americans have arranged it so they are not peronally liable for the debts as its in a company called kop holdings that means they may try threaten liquidisation in order to get out of paying the 400 million debt owed by kop holdings. this will mean administation unless a investor is willing to buy out the club for 500m wich is very unlikley therefore a probable outcome is a fans takeover much like what united fans are trying to do.

Firstly if you are going to post a rumour try to get your facts right. The debt that Liverpool have with RBS is £237 million, of which they have asked that £100 million is paid back to them in July (which is why LFC are looking for external investment/partner). Once this has been paid RBS will then look to to refinance over a longer period which will enable to build their stadium which in turn the revenues from this stadium will then service the new financing. As for rumours I don't have anything other than to say Torres & Gerrard will not be leaving this Summer.

'Why do people constantly link managers like Mark Hughes, Alex Mcleish and Roy Hodgson with Liverpool? None of these managers have the qualities or European experience to progress Liverpool more than current manager Rafa Renitez. '

Don't be so ignorant. Big Eck managed both Motherwell and Hibs in Europe before going to Rangers where he became the first (and only) person to lead Rangers into the Champions League last 16 (in it's current format). Before Taking Scotland so close in European Championship qualifying in a group that contained both Italy (current world champions) and France (beaten world cup finalists).

..pube u really do take this site as real life don't you . on an honest note I would happily and gladly meet u . (I take you will be the guy who is NOT wearing a football top, Ill wear my white Besiktas top that I like to wear to the games??)
I can honestly say I have never said that I had a book on the Copeland . if u remember right I said to Rikkisi I haven't had a book since the Le Guen era (where I went to EVERY game home and away I clearly remember talking about Charlie Adams tremendous strike in the pouring rain in Livorno) needless to say I got a little fed up with how much it cost me. If u remember rightly I told you all that I still go to every home game thro the Thornliebank true blues bus in which the guy who organises it gets all his tickets for the "broomie" (common knowledge this sells the least season tickets 'cos of the old firm allocation) this is also the best stand in Ibrox 'cos its the only stand people will sing in not scared that they are going to get their book taken off them.

However u will be happy to know that I aint so busy in work this morning so I am able to carefully make sure there are no spelling mistakes or grammatical errors all in the aid of your gracious self. (sorry had to chuckle there "gracious").

When will you realise you are the laughing stock of this site. You have made too many scathing remarks and ridiculous comments at times have won you no fans

Good post by Peace and Out. I disagree with what he says, but it was nicely put. Thanks for saying Everton will might scrape a Europa spot. Sadly, I think it's a little bit late for that now.

Re: Spending.

Since Rafa joined, he spent £250m (£108m net, or £18m a season). In that same time, Moyes has spent £102m (£23m net or £3.8m a season). Liverpool are third highest spenders during that time, Everton are 12th.

I agree that rafa should be given another year and some serious cash to spend in the market. Torres highlighted the fact that signings are needed and if we want to retain him then the new owners should comply. I say new owners because I am extremely confident that someone will buy our club and oust the Americans.

New owners may want their own manager in charge and in that case we would get someone world class like mourinho or hiddink. However, despite what he has been called on this site, rafa is a truly top notch manager. If he was not then why would real and juve be interested. I hope the new owners give him a couple years to prove himself on a budget worthy of the prestige of a club like Liverpool.

To be fair in the end Xabi wanted to go, fairplay as we only made 20–25m profit so lets move on, maybe it was Rafa who drove him out but he is the manager as 'Bob' says.

Onto Everton, School of Science mate no–one is saying 'ol Moysie hasn't done a good job, he's had how many LMA manager awards so he does get recognised, he had to replace a rotting ageing team going no–where but down and steadied the ship so to speak, to be honest I didn't think he had spent that much money 105m?? but apart from Rooney, how much has come back into the club?? Rafa has brought back in roughly what Moysie has spent but were playing on different levels, even this season where you lot MAY scrape a Euro spot!

Rafa has done a lot in his 6 yrs at the club, more than you may think, he's revamped the youth set–up, found Parry out for what he was (too much influence on the playing side, Purslow is a lot more business like), He has taken what Houllier give him which I believe that Gerard Houllier did a similar thing to Moysie and stopped the Rot but Rafa has taken us to the next level, up until last season we were one of the most feared teams in Europe because of our ability to rise from the dead I'm sure other Fans will agree that Utd always play til the final whistle and its how LFC used to play in the past – it's about mentality and although we are rarely exciting to watch we are effective and strong, difficult to beat. teams have to really turn up to beat us (some exceptions obviously this season but even Wigan had to play really well to do it 1–0), so I think we are in a far better position than we were 6 yrs ago but you have to look around you, Chelsea, Utd, Arsenal have improved aswell over the same period along with a few other top half teams.

On signings, I hope we get them done before the World Cup as players bought on the strength of a good WC rarely perform (we'll not mention their names), but I have a sneaky feeling that Rafa knows who he wants already and we'll just write this season off and go again next time, were Redmen people, we have to back the team and not get caught up with the Written Press' agenda, I can take stick from other footy fans 'cos were still up there to be shot down, YNWA

.Peace&Out.

""Thought I'd do what this raintitbone's bum chum does, The 3 names one form the far east, cut and paste then leave a comment! My comment being what a worthless post above!""
dear unnamed sir,
ngiak is called yet another name by another very mature and eloquent subscriber to the banter site. ngiak is truely enjoying it. although ngiak happens to be a little surprised at being wrong about the truth teller's wit, it actually is starting to make sense. as for mr bob the red, ngiak always knew you were a man united supporter, so don't try that "lets do it to jinx that team" guise. anyway, as expected liverpool are back to being a very good team and the pool supporters are actually talking about their OWN team for once instead of harping on man united and everton. good for you guys, and a good win at home to portsmouth. and these guys also have a name for man united, adding norwich to the list. how entertaining. ngiak loves this site. although, he wants to add (to prevent this post as being labelled pointless by people who themselves write utter priceless comments themselves..) man united will struggle against their auld enemy cos gerrard is just too good at being physical and getting away with everything. he might just do a swan dive and get another free kick or penalty and win the game. he is truely the heartbeat of the team. ngiak is really lookin forward to the game and the pre match taunts and post match rebuttals. and finally, ngiak heard that the meeting will be next week and things may move forward for the man united bid by other parties, as there is word that the other groups from asia and arabia are also still interested..

As much as i respect lfc i have to admit you are deluded you say same thhing every that if he had the budget how much money has the soft sod spent and talent the man has let slip through his hands for example alonso time for new pastuers my scouse friends

17 Mar 2010 00:32:57
No no no no no mourinho will not be the next liverfool fc manager i would speculate that job going to either martin o neil bcoz lets face alex ferguson will be managing united even when he is a ghost.or otmaar hitzfeld louis van gall or jurgen klinsmann mourinho will not leave inter milan with the resources he has at his disposal the only job i can se him ever going for is either the portuguese job or the ENGLAND JOB if not these possibly barcelaona when pep gaurdiola goes to take over arsenal

16 Mar 2010 23:41:21
Why do people constantly link managers like Mark Hughes, Alex Mcleish and Roy Hodgson with Liverpool? None of these managers have the qualities or European experience to progress Liverpool more than current manager Rafa Renitez. They have potential to be good managers but liverpool need the finished article now. I think Rafa might be given one more season to turn things round, and maybe if he is given a healthy transfer budget he will be able to get some top players in to turn our fortunes.

If Rafa does go I think Liverpool will opt for a world class manager like Jose Mourinho, Gus Hiddink, Vincent Del Bosque. {editor's note – Hodgson has international experience and European experience galore. Manager of Switzerland, Finland and Inter in the past for instance.}

16 Mar 2010 23:08:11
On liverfool fc i think its time to for benitez to go the man isn't good enough possibly candidates jurgen klinnsman king kenny or louis van gaal i would say the AMERICAN BUFFOONS that own the club are looking for a potential candidate now

16 Mar 2010 23:12:45
Will you stop however you are going on about mourinho going to liverpool it aint going to happen with all the bad blood between him and liverpool while he was at chelsea the next job the special one will take is the portugal or england job if capello decides to jack in or gets fired
