The greatest stage in World Club Football tonight takes place in London and with the two best teams in Europe this season competing for "big ears" it's set to be a classic showdown. The two sides met back in 2009 and if you're a Barcelona fan or just a Barcelona admire then you would say they just tore Man United part that night - Man United fans seem to think Sir Alex got his tactics wrong, I think by 11pm tonight those same fans will be saying all the same things because I see nothing but a Barcelona win.

THE Volvo Match Play Championship is in play this week and match play is just great golf to watch. World Number 2 Luke Donald is looking for his 2nd match play win this season after winning the WGC event in America. Paul Casey, playing in the Greg Norman group alongside Alvaro Quiros & Soren Kjeldsen - Casey is a very solid match play performer and this week I think he will be in the running and at 16/1 he can't be ignored. The Seve Ballesteros group puts World No 1 Lee Westwood in with Anders Hansen & Aaron Baddeley - Westwood will be hoping for a big week but I would ignore that 13/2 on the English man this week.

Yesterday the Queen - Today The Europa League Final. Dublin is the place to be! On paper tonights event seems very one sided & with a massive 38 points between these two in the Premeira Liga on that telling this could be a one sided final. I hope Braga turn up and give this final their best shot & I think the travelling fans will be happy with that!

SAWGRASS hosts the Players Championship this week and personally I love this tournament especially hole 16 the dreaded par 3. Tiger Woods plays this week but is he 100 percent fit? I don't think so - Sergio Garcia is on form this past couple of weeks and he is one of my selections this week along with world number 5 Graeme Mcdowell.

Liverpool fans turn Spurs fans for 2 hours tonight in that small hope Champions League football will arrive at Anfield next season - Man City will be up for this but as we know they have a very cautious manager and that's why a draw is tonights result for me and that will keep Liverpool in the picture for 4th.
St Johnstone' 2-0 win at Aberdeen last weekend will surely be followed up with victory at home to bottom side Hamilton tonight.
After seeing Luton win 3-0 at Wrexham I can't see them slipping up this evening at home in the 2nd leg.

Woke up this morning to the sad news that Seve Ballesteros died during the night from a long illness, the true legend of the game will be missed, R.I.P.
With the championship, Leagues 1 & 2 finishing today playoff positions are up for grabs, and in the premiership the fight against the drop resumes, It's going to be tough to pick out teams todays but as always I will give it a shot.
Five Timer: Aston Villa 5/6, Reading 8/15, Swansea 8/15, Southampton 8/13, Tranmere 4/5; That Five Timer pays 11/1.

Now onto the horses and there's a total of 8 meetings on today in UK and Ireland. The curtain closes on the jumps in Ireland at Punchestown and their feature today is the 4.25 AES Champion Four Year Old Hurdle and Dermot Weld's horse Unaccompanied is a respected favourite. But as you know by now - I don't give tips as little as evens. Below as usual I will list my Nap, NB and EW bet. As I opened today by giving my mini-tribute to the great Seve, I was looking at the horses going today and came across a maiden at Haydock and I don't know if it's faith but in the 2.30 there's a horse by the name of Ballesteros making his debut and is available at 5/1, surely this horse is worth a punt.

Now onto NBA - with another shock defeat for the LA Lakers last night at the hands of the Dallas Mavericks (who now take a 3-0 series lead) the champions are in serious bother. Tonight sees Miami Heat travel to Boston with a 2-0 series lead and will be hoping to get back to Miami at least 3-1, the other game is @ Memphis who entertain Kevin Durant's Oklahoma and with the series tied 1-1 I see this going all the way to the 7th game.
Boston -3 & Oklahoma +3; That double pays 5/2.

Those prices do seem great value but I'd keep in mind that in Spain it isn't totally illegal to offer financial rewards to teams to ensure they don't fold. With so many teams possibly going down anything could happen and Valencia could even be offered financial incentive by Zaragoza for example but just saying it's unpredictable. Don't know if any guys here look at Football365's "Cheeky Weekend Punt" but the guy backed 4-3 Blackpool at 150/ 1! I got all today's Prem results right today as well at 47/ 1.
