Can I just say that some of the rumours about Smudger's return aren't too far off the mark of what I've heard from ex players who know Smudger well. It seems as usual finances are an issue but I certainly, as previously stated wouldn't rule anything out. Someone suggested to me that his agent and Ken Bates aren't seeing eye to eye on a number of things (What's new there...?) so we'll see what unfolds...

I love the way some people have picked up on this pic and thought it was recent ha ha ha ha...sadly for me, it is genuinely six years old :( Having said that I would not rule out Mr Smith being the "shock signing" of the summer...I know there's a lot of animosity towards him but the "real" Leeds fans who rode the storm of those ups and downs of 2001-2004 and have met him will know that it's worth giving him a final shot at righting a few wrongs at Elland Road. Bring it on! If there's only me celebrating his controversial return I really don't care, it'd make my birthday, Christmas, etc.....:P
