Kenny Jacket will try to rekindle his aquaintance with Oxford Utds James Henry as he tries to fill the dedicated no10 role. Henry who was Oxfords top scorer this season with 15 goals and joint top scorer last season was a proven player at Championship level with Millwall and Wolves under Jacket and continues to perform at Div 1 level. Despite being 30, Henry featured heavily for Oxford this season and his experience of the no10 role and gaining promotion from Div 1 under Jacket with Wolves could see them paired up again.

Wolves manager Nuno has already expressed his commitments to August after holding numerous meetings regarding players gooing out and coming in.
Goalkeeper Will Norris is the only player who has been told he can find a new club as Nuno feels it's a waste of time having three first team stoppers.
A central defender, right full back, a central midfielder, a left winger and two striker have all been identified as incomings.
Southampton defender Jannik Vestergaard is expected to sign a three year deal after a fee was agreed last weekend.
Nuno is keen on promoting youth sdo instead of bringing in a backup for Matt Doherty, they will offer a new long term deal to reserve team full back Oscar Buur and give him a first team spot.
Newcastle midfielder Mohamed Diame is also subject of a move to Molineux. Diame is expected to sign a two year deal as a free agent after being told he will be released in the summer.
Nuno will once again bring in another player from Southampton alongside Vestergaard. Winger Nathan Redmond is expected to sign a three year deal after telling the club he would like a move this summer.
One of the strikers to come in will be Hoffenheim forward Joelinton on a five year deal whilst the other will be West Brom forward Jay Rodriguez on a two year deal.

Some months ago i askeed why did Neves joined Wolves. days ago, in vacations i could read a little more about Mendez reationship with this chinese owners, so i wanted to ask a few things to you edds, probably edd 002 will have more knowledge if i don't put you in an awkwad position.

1. How far do you think they will get, like, from your point of view do you think they are doing things well and constructing a good model; do you expect them to climb to EPL to play for top4, just to stay at 1 division or to battle to stay in there ala QPR.

2. As they are stakeholders of Mendez company, Is there any kind of ethical issue with the way they are managing the transferences with him.

3. Is there or has been there any other case like this that you have knowledge of?

{Ed002's Note - 1. I expect that nothing will stop promotion this year but top 4 in the PL would be a vast step. In terms of the model, Anzhi followed the same route and that imploded. They cannot continue to spend money they don't earn or expect to be able to bring in players cheaply or just via Jorge Mendes. As such, the investment going forward needs to be managed and they need to become self-sufficient - obviously being in the PL gives that a massive boost from a financial perspective.
2. Strictly speaking no, Fosun can invest in the business and can continue to use Peter Kenyon in whatever capacity they wish. What is not allowed is any third party ownership of players - or, more importantly, third-party influence over players careers (which is a gray area).
3. Anzhi Makhachkala, after the takeover of Suleyman Kerimov, followed a very similar approach.}

If wolves do get Oliver he's a step up from what we have. i'm sorry to see jdb leave but this guy is a far better technical footballer. ill admit i'm not sure about his attitude or workrate but maybe Nuno can do something about that. but the main thing he has going for him over the other imports surely is that he's already played and scored goals in this league. i'm also sure that there'll be another forward coming in.
