AFC Bournemouth are seriously testing Burnley FC's resolve, by following up their cheeky £1.3 million bid for Danny Ings with an audacious £5 million up front fee offer for Charlie Austin. It seems the Cherries mega bucks offer has even stunned some Premiership admirers. The Cherries are backed by Russian oil & gas and are thought to be one of the most cash rich clubs in Europe.

Swindon Town defender Paul Caddis` move to Birmingham City could be back on.

Town are currently in the midst of slashing their wage bill and are trying to move players out on big contracts.

Thus far Swindon have released big earners Simon Ferry, Tommy Miller, Raffaele De Vita and lost captain Alan McCormack to Brentford.

Town`s entire squad is up for sale at the right price and it is understood if Town are unable to sell Caddis for £250,000 they would be willing to let the former captain leave the club again on a season long loan to Birmingham on the proviso they pay all of his wages which would reduce Town`s outgoings further and then enable Lee Clark to sign Caddis on a free transfer at the end of next season.

Clark had stated previously that Birmingham City could not afford to pay the transfer fee for Caddis rumoured to be around £250,000 but could sign him on a free transfer. A loan move would suit all parties if Caddis` wages were paid in full by City.

Meanwhile Aden Flint will complete his move to Bristol City this week after long protracted negotiations, whilst former Town defender Callum Kennedy is close to sealing a move to local rivals Oxford United and signing a two year deal with the League Two.

There is still only one STFC, told you before. swindon are on a downer again, the shrews will finish above Swindon this season----- no problem

Ipswich Town are closing in on a deal for one or two players. These are just snippets of information that I have heard from a very reliable source.

Ipswich have spoken to released Watford winger Mark Yeates, but as yet no deal has been agreed. Matt Kilgallon will not be coming to Town as he wants to play regular first team football.

Harry Forester has agreed terms with Town, now the clubs have to agree a compensation package. Brentford are playing hardball with this and want as much as they can for him.

DJ Campbell will only be coming to Ipswich if Michael Chopra goes to Sheff Wed (looking more and more likely) and he agrees to a 'pay as you play' deal.

Richard Stearman has been told by Wolves that he can leave, so long as a club bids 600k for him.

For all those speculating on ANY transfers in or out of West Brom, West Brom had a list of player written out last summer and are the only club that plan this early ahead, all transfers are finalised under radar and you will not hear of any speculation from inside the club for the fans it's a matter of wait and see and get behind the club and it's staff it will be hard but everything Albion do this summer has been planned well in advance.
