I am a hearts fan and I really hope if Lee Wallace goes he goes to wolves where he'll get first team football, but, a lot of wolves fans who post on the site say that he'll be going for around 750k but hearts manager jim jeffries and hearts owner Vladimir Romanov says that lee won't be going for less than a million, but if he does go to wolves he will be a great signing

Souleymane Coulibaly (£2m, Siena)
Lassana Diarra (£10m, Real Madrid)

Leaving

17:55 Metro have moved on the story that Lassana Diarra was left out of Real Madrid's squad for their tour of the US by claiming the former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder has been offered to United and Spurs. Reports in Spain claim Malaga fancy keeping him in La Liga. The newspaper claims a "cheeky" £10m bid would be sufficient.

Believable1 Unbelievable3

After top scoring in the U17's World Cup, you expect to gert him for £2m? Idiot

LIVERPOOL MADE AN ENQUIRERY ABOUT TAKING HOWARD WEBB FROM MAN IT'S FOR A REPORTED 35 MILLION BUT UNITED REFUSED STATING ' THEY DO NOT SELL THERE BEST PLAYERS FOR ANY AMOUNT '
SOURCE SKY SPORTS NEWS

Believable5 Unbelievable3

Thats not what I heard, rumours are that he wants to stay and win trophies, because in Webbs words, "Liverpool are a s**t club with no chance of winning anything, it makes me laugh that they still consider themselves genuine title contenders when they have bought a load of tosh. I would rather warm the bench at OT than go to a club with an empty trophy cabinet and no chance of moving to a decent stadium. Football is played in the present, not the past.....in summary Liverpool are total s**t"

modric is rapidly becoming a hate figure with the white hart lane faithful, although everybody is crying out for a new signing, all blogs and polls clearly support levy's stance and are happy for him to rot in the stands.

Believable2 Unbelievable1

We had the same problem with bent at sunderland once a player doesn't want to play for ye club let them go as fans of all football clubs pay good money to see players pull there shirts on with pride modric isn't the first and wont be last mate

Agree0 Disagree0

Fair play, i just think levy should show that we arn't a selling club, its like berbatov all over again, difference this time, the c**t only just signed a 6 year deal

Agree0 Disagree0

You are a selling club when big teams want your players.

Nothing will stop Modric going to Chelsea, especially as the fee is now creeping up

Agree0 Disagree0

Problem is you have never been and never will be "big".....headed, yes. Just richer. You will never attract anyone through your history. You havnt got any. Thats why a lot of your supporters come disguised as blue seats. You shed monkey.

For all non Hornets, just a quick note to put you all straight on the small matter of selling Troy the Boy and Marvin Sordell. They are the only forward players over the age of 12 years old still at the club having sold pretty much anyone who does not get a nose bleed in the opposition half. At least make up rumours linking them with bigger clubs. Why would they move when they are both guaranteed a starting place up front. As for Lloyd Doyley, MK? Not a chance. Lloyd will be a one club player - the Championship's Gary Neville. He loves it at Watford and is going nowhere.

Portsmouth fc went into admin owing aroud 104 million and agreed to pay back 20p to every ponnd owed and any debt under 10,000 in full a record amont for any company going into to admin. Sunderland could be set to break their transfer record after reports surfaced that manager Steve Bruce was preparing an audacious bid for absolutely anything as long as it has a pulse and owns a pair of football boots.

Bruce has been keeping a particularly close eye on an unnamed target and is believed to have been impressed with how conscious it was of its own existence.

The former Birmingham boss has also revealed that he hasn't ruled out the possibility of signing embryophytes as he looks to bolster his squad for the forthcoming Premier League campaign.

He told fans of the club, "I've watched some videos of both Vascular and non-vascular land plants in action, but I'm not going to say anymore than that or it might alert Kenny Dalglish."

"I am interested in just about any living organism, but I would like to reassure fans that I am ruling out any move for Emily Heskey."

This post was mildly funny last week. Why do we have to endure it again?

Agree3 Disagree0

Some sgb out of his tiny little mind most probably forgot he posted

Agree0 Disagree0

This sad geordie is just a little bit jealous. There again if you had an owner like M A who is not prepared to put his hand in his pocket, you would be jealous too.
Since you let Nolan go, you have a lot of signings to make to fill his boots. Without him and possibly Barton to go too, you have lost all the heart in your team. Good luck. You will surely need it.

couldn't get games for Reading when he returned to them so why is he considered good enough for us in the Championship.

Interesting Adel rates himself as a £100 million player - so £25 million would seem to be the price going by your logic

Aston villa are not interested in Alan Hutton. ( they have beye, lichaj and mainly luke young for RB options)

villa also unlikely to go for parker. they are keeping taps on his situation but a move is unlikely.

Nzogbia also is really a 50/50. he hasn't really been mentioned by villa. it depends on his price tag as well. anything over 10m mill and villa will pull out.

very good source

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Luke Young is out of contract. And not fit enough to lace Alan Hutton, s boots.

Agree0 Disagree0

Nzogbia is agood player. However, allegedly his wage demands are ridiculous and a fee of £20m that Wigan are asking, are both over the top.
I wouldnt be surprised if this one goes right up to the wire and Wigan have to accept a bid that is a lot lower than they would receive today. It will teach clubs to stop trying to build up the price in such a ridiculous fashion.

surely Johnson , Mata, Nzog, or even dare I say Lennon would fit the profile (a little) better ?

Handy Carroll

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Considering the Valenica chairman says you have not made an approach for Mata, it looks like you are just going for whoever you think might sign, not any quality, the reason for this is because you are s**t and not in europe unlike Valencia.

Is there any truth in this rumour going round that someone actually cares about women's football? {Ed003's Note - I usually delete posts of this nature,but feel a rant coming on......Are you for real,this kind of attitude stinks,football is a game that should/and is enjoyed by everyone}

As a woman who posts regularly on this site I'd just like to say you're an person whoever posted this Football should bring people together whoever or wherever they are - go away and chat to Randy Andy Gray in a dark corner LOL

Crystal Palace are ready to spend some money this transfer window on keen young players such as: Matt Ritchie (Swindon Winger), Tommy Smitch (Ipswich Centre Back) and with these two young players.
Palace will also sign some experience players such as Daniel Bogdanovi (Sheffield Utd, Shaun Derry (QPR) and Peter Leven (Mk Dons) and also interested in bringing in Jordan Rhodes but as I have heard from my resources: Huddersfield will only let Rhodes go at the right price, and the fee to be believed as the right price is 1.5 million. So can see this deal going out the window for Palace.

90% of the football clubs are in financial trouble.
What happens when the Liebherr family leave Southampton and then say you have no money and don't have a club. Portsmouth fans have been through this and suffered and they were not to blame personally. Thinking that the minority of saints fans who stir up trouble should be ashamed.

Lets settle things on the pitch, If you win good luck, but lets agree that's its better to have club than not.

Ed what's your comments? {Ed003's Note - I agree clubs should live within there means at all times,whether that means success or not, the most important thing is that their is a club to support/moan/banter about! }

My club (Nottingham Forest) are in £70m debt to it's owner (An investor who apparently supports the club) and we have literally 12 players at the minute.

There is profit in football, the chairmen (and women) take it all the time, but essentially, we give them that money every weekend. We need a shake up

Agree1 Disagree0

I think you'll find that Southampton fans do now how it feels as we too have been through this not to long ago We have alot to thank to the late Markus Liebherr + family for the situation we are in now and obviously that fans feel strongly about this.

You will always get the minority stiring things up due to the rivalry between the clubs - I agree, settle it on the pitch, looking forward to the derby games

This is BS - no way would a tinpot club like Huddersfield buy a player for £1m and then only secure him for 2 years - i.e. end of first year he would be in the last year of his contract - maybe a big club would but not a small one - i hear that it is a 2 horse race between Ipswich and Watford and the deal is 3 years

This really annoys me, if you knew anything about football you would know that owner Dean Hoyle has £400 million fortune and tinpot club is the last thing Huddersfield Town are. Huddersfield have a huge following.

I'm a Nottingham Forest fan and we only buy players on two year deals (2.5 years if in January) annoys me greatly as they end up leaving for free.

How could Swindon afford £650,000, also Le Fondre will want to go to higher league and not stay in league 2

Money not an issue... The days of being skint are over.

Nadjim "Jimmy" Abdou & James Henry are not leaving The Den. They're both regulars in the first team, and fan favourites. We don't want to sell our first team players - the only reason Morison was allowed to leave was because it was a Premier League side he went to. Sorry Saints fans, James Henry is a Millwall player and it's staying that way.

"bradford to sign ben davies from notts county since he is not part of martin allens plans. dean brill will complete a move to the bantams in the next 24 hours."

Glad MA is not bothering with Davies as he plays for Derby.

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Ahh that is the most classic post ever. He left County in January to triple his wages. He took two steps forward, why would he go six months back in time and then take two steps backwards.

Absolute classic Qualityyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.

I will bet my last lolly ice that Ryan Lowe does not leave Bury and does not get an improved contract.

Lowe is planning on being in Bury for a while, and is great mates with future world champion Scott Quigg. Lowe will be ringside with his entourage for Scotts next fight.
