You want to get your facts right before you post carp, CMS turned down you bin robbers to go to Brighton...........Sven was turned down by CMS.

He went to Brighton and turned you lot down, big club my**** Festa City small town club in the East mids.

Maynard coming to Forest, not the bin robbers

Yes, it is other jealous fans who are saying this. Brighton's finances are well-publicised; they are already selling season tickets like wildfire and owner Tony Bloom has not put the club in any financial danger. I am a Leeds fan, and i wish Brighton all the best. They are in a very good position.

Source: I work for the club's publicist

-----------------------------------------
I think you will fidn that you are the one that needs to get your facts right, City nor West Ham had bid for CMS, he himself has stated this by saying he would of gone if they had a bid accepted.
Wolves were never after CMS..... FACT

Brighton have lost most of their players, Murray, Bennett etc, they will lose more. My mate who is a club secatary has confirmed this. Bloom is losing vast amounts of money........ your not a the clubs publicist, your just an internet moron from the south coast that is oblivious to facts

Hi Eds, absolutely hats off to you for the hard work & dedication you've put into making this site such a huge success, well done & keep it up. It must be extremely hard not only informing the many who greatly desire to have their questions, viewpoints, curiousities & opinions addressed but also supplying us your views & feedback when requested. Thank you. I'm a first timer here & my debut question is, i'm proud of the progress made by Liverpool, i too was against the idea of Downing representing the Kop but he has certainly expressed his passion to join which brought me to the conclusion that if this same passion was expressed on the field, with the quality of players around him, he may just surprise us all & become something only KK saw, the world class player within. Do you think Liverpool will finally bring out the very best in him? Also in my opinion i believe we should dream big, anything is possible, this is to all my fellow kop fans, why settle for 4th spot when we can go 3 better & win the prize that has eluded us over 2 decades. Why can't we have Hazard in our line up, tho he may not want to join, yet he is not bigger than Liverpool & never will be. If he see's that we want him bad enough maybe that'll change his heart and mind, what about Turan, i would give anything to see players of such quality & flair in our ranks. Ino we're seeking solutions to critical areas of our defence, we will surely address this problem. The academy is something to be proud of, there's a new Carragher, Gerrard Barnesy & a Rushie in there somewhere, pls have faith in these youngsters KK, we're on the right track. If we produce the type of football under KK's first reign then we'll have no problems attracting big names in future. My opinion, pursue Hazard or Turan, we need to reclaim the fear factor title we once had, it's possible no doubt. Your thoughts will be appreciated ed. Great work. {Ed001's Note - I personally think Downing is an excellent signing, he is the perfect winger to feed Carroll.}

I too have heard things arnt so rosey behind the scenes at Brighton, be wary seagulls fans, you dont want to punch too far above your weight

I think that if your club had had no stadium for so many years you might think things are now looking up? Let's hope your club doesn't have to put up with having it's ground sold and having to play in an athletics track?

Were not punching above are weight, were a club with massive support and looking to get where we belong. So why don't you worry about your own club and let's see were Brighton are at the end of the season?

Believable0 Unbelievable1

"massive support"? Obviously not massive enough to build a big stadium You've built a weeny ground and you're bragging about how great it is. I assume most of your supporters go shopping on Saturday afternoon?

Brighton are poised to sign Kazenga LuaLua on loan with a view to a permanent deal.

The Newcastle man has already enjoyed two loan spells with the Seagulls and manager Gus Poyet was eager to bring him back.

Talks with the 20-year-old winger have been going on for some time leading the Uruguayan tactician to comment that the deal "is going to be now or never."

However, it seems that Brighton have now finally got their man and should he impress in the Championship then the Seagulls will have the option of retaining his services permanently.

LuaLua is set to become Poyet's fifth acquisition this summer following the arrivals of Craig Mackail-Smith, Roland Bergkamp, Will Buckley and Will Hoskins.

To the person from wolves try reading the facts first you brainless idiot.

Biggest rubbish I have ever heard. Brighton & hove Albion have no money trouble what so ever. We are on the rise, it just so sad that people are just mad of our progress. S2bu.

Wow, I have lost all respect for Brighton. I was reporting what my mate who works and is a fan of your club has told me.
You can call me brainless all you want chum but I know for a fact my source would not make up rubbish about his own club, there is deep trouble at your club, you can choose to be smoke-screened all you want. All will soon be revealed once Bloom comes out in December and says he can't pay out. Your choice not mine.

Firstly Bellamy doesn't hate Swansea. Hate in this context is a word reserved for local hero simpleton's and not wordly, intellegent individuals like Craig. Of course he is a die hard Bluebird but he is also extremely proud of his welsh heritage (the whole of it) and is an admirer of the way Swansea play their football. Coming back to the original rumour, it would be an absolute miracle if Swansea could put together a package capable of attracting Craig or anyone else of his stature.....sadly

Wolves fan here. Just heard some intresting news about Brighton and Hove Albion from a mate of mine who is a Seagulls fan and works at the club. He has told me that Brighton are in a lot of financial trouble and that Bloom their chairman has lost the plot. After signing CMS he has lost all of his money, Lua Lua and Garvan turned down the club after their agents realised what was going on at the club and that Bloom may not have enough money to to finance the club beyond December.

That's strange because lua lua is signing over the weekend. And brighton don't have any debt, so get you facts right you idiot. By the way I hear wolverhampton are favourites to win the s**te*t place to live in the world. Apparently it's full of brainless dic*heads like you

There will be around 50 scouts from top world clubs tomorrow as Colombia and Peru battle it out to play Argentina or Uruguay in the semi-finals of the Copa America. Eyes will be on Radomel Falcao, who scored two goals in the Colombians last match against Bolivia. A few scouts are also looking at the defence of Colombia after the back line have yet not conceded a goal. Paolo Guerrero may also attract attention after scoring two goals for Peru in this competition. Peru have reached the quarter finals in the last six campaigns but have not reached the semi finals since before 1997, after getting hammered by Brazil 7-0. Colombia have not reached the quarters the mid noughties.

Just heard from a contact in the club that Swindon will announce a new striker next wed/thurs, PDC has been having talks with a league 1 player who will sign next week, Wray has flown out to Italy to discuss the contract in detail with Paolo and to get the wheels in motion, it Will not be announced before then as PDC wants to be at the club when it is announced on Wed to attend the press conference.
-------------------------
They flew back from Norcia this morning and will be back at the CG training this evening training so your contact at the club isn't that well informed is he

--------------------------------------------
If you knew ANYTHING then you will know that Wray flew out to Italy the day before they came home, I stand by what I said a striker will be announced on Wed or Thursday after the friendly Tues night....
-----------------------------------------------
I'm fully aware Wray flew out to Norcia the day before as he went out to over look the team in their last friendly match. As for your post is concerned it's not much of announcement is it? Let's be honest the chances of us signing a striker by Wednesday are high. The fact you have to pretend you know something when you clearly don't makes you look a tool.

RE: "I thought they had three more years to "sort things out". Anyway, City can always go to the courts and point out that the UEFA "fair play" rules are designed to prevent an upstart like City competing with the chosen few who have benefited from the entirely oligarchical "European Champions League" which was designed to ensure that the rich would get richer and no other team outside the ( self ) chosen few ( the G14 ) could ever break the oligopoly. Tic Toc."

Tic Toc - either you have been reading my mind or my posts. Either way, it is reassuring to know that I am not a lone voice.

I think there is merit in having 'fair play' rules but I share your scepticism about UEFA's motives. I am reminded of a line from T S Eliot's play 'Murder in the Cathedral'

I've heard that Pompey will look to share Brightons new Amex stadium in 2012/13 and that Fratton Park and Freight yard will become a superstore and an arcade of poundland shops. The short hop up the A27 will not sit well with some of the Blue few, but the new retail outlets have been welcomed by many and it is anticipated that the shell suit will once again become the No 1 best selling item of clothing in Portsmouth. One supporter has admitted that she is excited by the prospect of being able to buy shell bottoms as a single item, and could mix and match the colour of the top to suit the home and away strip - she added "It's like a dream come true". She went on to say that this was the only real solution because of our recent commercial "anomaly", and previously only had look West and admire the Saints, but now we are sandwiched between two much superior clubs with fantastic new facilities. A merger with Southampton is not on the cards because the Saints already have a decent fan base, but is a real possibility with Brighton, and could be renamed South City(s) FC.

Insider at crystal palace admits that any of there players are up for sale at the right price as they are struggling to pay wages. They must sell and replace with someone on a salary that is capped to help with debt. Free transfers are a must with lower wages. This means they would accept any bid for any of there top earners for the right price. Palace do not want this to be general knowledge as policy as would mean clubs will be picking at the bones. This is from a source on the board were there is disagreement on this policy.

not a rumour but something that seems to make sense.... leeds united to wait until the friendly with newcasle where smith will play the first half only to prove his fitness and desire befor simon grayson and ken bates make a decision on bringing him to elland road, smith has 45 minutes to prove he is worth a last chance with leeds?

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Ha utterly ridiculous rumour. So Leeds are happy to risk injury to their golden boy in a meaningless friendly rather than give him proper medical & fitness tests - and the player himself is also happy to risk injury rather than go through the accepted medical procedures - oh and Newcastle are also quite happy to let a big earner parade himself like a showpony in order to facilitate a move that could be completed via std medical procedures.

You might want to remove your head from your arse before you make up any more fairy tales dingus.

The firesale down at Villa is merely a prelude to the club being sold. Lerner the parasite is stripping the club of its worth before he disappears off and Aston Villa will be the next Portsmouth / Leeds.

As a genuine fan, my heart sinks everyday watching, listening and reading the demise of my team that has been a special part of me since 1973. Just 30 years ago we were kings now we are chumps

To all the haters and disillusioned LFC fans out there the proof in Kenny's signings will be in how we do in the league and cups.
I remember the glory days and how we used to play and may i remind you when Kenny bought Barnes everyone thought he was Crap....How wrong where they?
Kenny has a unique ability to see things in players that others don't he knows what it takes to be a team player not every team needs to buy prima donnas to be the best.
You will all eat your words when the season starts and you see good pass and move football and a squad that plays for the shirt, fans , manager and eachother not for themselves as indivduals.
Downing is underrated by most but you will now see what he truely has to offer Henderson will grow and improve under Kennys guidance as will Andy Carrol and our other young starlets. Suarez is going to be epic this season and then we have players like Carra, Gerrard and Kuyt who give everything for the cause.
Passion, respect, pride and a willingness to give evrything to the club has returned we are on our way back.

I'm a Leicester fan, always had a soft spot for Liverpool and would love to see them back on top of the pile. They've looked much better since Kenny came home and the players appear to be much happier too, happy days Liverpool, here's to you smashing the Mancs once again.

This is not a rumour just fact, as a gooner fan i don't expect to see anyone come till at least the end of july as per arsen anounced before they left for asia. I expect a solid no-nonsense centre back, and benzema from madrid once adebayor is confirmed.
