{ED003's Note - We are thinking of taking the predictions a bit further by creating its own page and doing a weekly prediction on ten games, we simply don’t have the man hours to do more but anyway the thinking is I will randomly select ten games each week for posters to give their predictions on, these matches will range from The Prem to SPL,FL and Conference and give posters the chance to have some banter afterwards aswell (remember banter not hatred or foul language) For this to work so posters can actually build up banter one thing we will insist on is for your nickname/tag to be registered any without won’t be posted (to avoid trolls) We could even work out a league table for posters predictions if it takes off. Will this interest anyone? Ed's will compete aswell.

New Southampton rumour:

The rumour is that we have had Valencia's Ever Banega practically signed for some time, and the deal has not been finalised as the club have been waiting to offload Gaston Ramirez back to Italy, with Inter as potential suitors.

There was a lot of smoke about a fee for Banega being agreed a few weeks ago, with Pochettino subsequently admitting his interest in the player. The suspicion is that he's been pursued as a replacement for Ramirez who is less able to fit into Pochettino's tactics as he struggles to manage the fitness required for 90 minutes of high pressing and is not a good tackler.

It is reported by local Sussex paper the Argus that ex-Brighton player Nathan Jones is believed to be rejoining Brighton in a coaching capacity.

Just a note to say that one person blogger from Stoke saw the entry about Steve Clarke ready to sign Kenwyne Jones for WBA and based a brief online article on it (This Is Staffordshire, if you must know) near confirming it as some kind of fact. I suggest the power is in your hands to come up with any old shambles so that some berk with a website, too much time on his hands and a mind that doesn't seem to want to ask too many questions will nick it and create an article that appears on Newsnow alongside genuine news articles.

The big question on everyone's lips is Can West Ham learn a few things from Norwich City? West Ham have stupidly poured £15.5m into one striker that isn't even fit for the start of the season. Norwich on the other hand have identified targets and stuck to their guns. Martin Olsson (a long time west ham target) picked up for £2.5m. Bargain! Whilst West ham stumble about trying to pinch pennies Norwich are full steam ahead targetting Gary Hooper. WHilst experts and hammers followers kid themselves that hooper could only score in a poor scottish league they should remember who else he managed to score againts in Europe. The likes of Juventus come to mind and that's no mean feat. Its quite obvious that BFS doesn;t like small goal scorers a la Maynard, Baldock & co but look at the most successful strikers in the premiership history Fowler, Rush, Aldridge, Owen, Rooney and none of them have ahd the ball vbashed to them in the air. Stoke tried the big man tactic with Jones and Crouch and it didn;t work. Long hard times ahead for hammers fans

I'm a Hibs fan (don't get angry, ha), but am writing on this out of curiosity as to what you St J fans think of Rowan Vine as a player!

Did you's rate him as a player? If so, would you say he is Hibs level or!

P. s I want real opinions, not sour ones just because he's left, ha.
