After impressing in his 4 week loan spell, Chris Martin will sign for Derby County on loan until the end of the season.

He will also sign a permanent deal at the end of the season subject to wage negotiations.

Derby's main signings will Martyn Waghorn of Leicester City and Chris Martin from Norwich.

Due to these two players being potential free agents Derby will can afford to spend slightly more than usual on wage demands to accomodate these two player, with Martin having the higher wage.

Derby will also make a hopeful bid to Leeds United for Aidy white of 500k - up to but no more -1 milion.

Derby will also assess the centre back position; Shaun Barker will need to be eased in so Derby will decide closer to the time whether Jake Buxton can fill the role until he is fit. If not derby will sign a centre back on loan until January, likely a premier league reserve not seeing regular football.

Finally Derby will sign 3 young players from the lower leagues. One will be a gamble on a striker either Will grigg or Paddy Madden. The other Burton midfielder Jaques Magoma and the third a pacey winger.
