Hooper .... lets face it he's likely to go sooner rather than later. We now need to get the best deal as possible and plan for replacements. Now all you English posters that are on here bashing Celtic, Hooper and Scottish football in in general. Lets face it Newcastle, Norwich, Swansea, Sunderland, etc etc... their games are only competitve as they are all fighting to stay in the league not ever challenge to win anything. Get a grip you may think the EPL is best in the world but these teams are not the contributing anything to that statement. Sure the top 6/8 teams are full of quality but thereafter its just very average teams at best that are below this. This year Celtic have achieved amazing success in qualifying for the last 16 CL. That shouldn't be overlooked in assessing the standard of Celtic. and also Hoopers contribution to the level they have reached. Celtic Bhoy {Ed003's Note - here we go again}

Charlton have improved their squad well under cp and have a solid defence. lm and rm is sorted with 2 quality players in each of those positions
in centre mid we have dale stephens who has been good recently and Pritchard.... phenominal. hollands will return at the end of the season and a crop of talented youngsters (poyet, gerrard, cousins) shows 2 years time will be no problem but another cm needs to be bought. to make way in the wages for this a few players need to go. andy hughes, ruben bovver will give about 4k to 5k for wages. releasing kerkar and Bradley wright Phillips will give enough money to sign another striker. owners will give 1m in transfer funds to chris powell for this. andy barton, jay tabb, marvin sordell, George boyd and Anthony wordsworth are all players considered.
on the contract front, hamer, green, Haynes, cort, dervite, chris solly, wagstaff and stephens must all commit a further extension or new contract to give chris powell the ability to sign the players he needs. Charlton may also consider signing an extra sport scientist and investing in that department because injuries to haynes, Wilson, wiggins, kermorgant, fuller, cort and others have been injured far too much. investing 200k or 300k will rectify that and give us more consistency with the team. chris powell will also continue his phenominal progress in charltons playing style with more fluency in passing and attacking threat. 2013 14 should see us gain promotion I think

Would help if the team was fit, heavy footed with lack of pace, might be a good thing if he went back to Blackpool, Adkins taking a couple of months off, but Town could do a lot worse, you never know Deano might invite Clarke back!!
