Spurs and Liverpool are now back in for Ramirez, the same will happen with Lens and Phillips, if you want to sign someone get in and do it quick or lose out.

OPTIONS. FOR AVFC...Ibrahim Balde/ M.Phillips/ Feghouli/ Brahimi/ Carrol/ Cresswell/ Anan/ Butland/..

Then just utilize our so called youth that do have a bit of talent {nowhere yet ready} that can be nurtured..Eg/ Bannan/Delph/Baker.

We must Invest NOW, We need top talent as a threshold/yard stick to push up our measuring criteria, for example. The reason the Beast is so good is because he has to show he has the talent to challenge Bolt, the same principal applies to the team GB Cyclists-Hoy/Rowers all of which are successful teams.

To summarize every fan wants investment & decent players Villa needs investment & quality, A two footed Marquee signing is a must to reinvigorate the team & fans {Feghouli}. LB AM CF at the very minimum within the transfer window,

You don't want overpriced english talent but yet you say to buy butland??????????????????

Hello(Ed and Huddersfield fans ) Celtic fan here, 1 st of all good luck this season, 2nd 99.9%of Celtic fans would love Rhodes to be playing for us,(our board are to tight to part with the cash) if we dont get him i would rather he stays where he is for another year build up his goals and then a great transfer awaits him, hopefully a great fee for your club. As for Johnny Russell great player and if we dont get him i hope you do, will be keeping any eye on Huddersfield this season, GOOD LUCK hail hail.john88

Extremely worried about players signing for other clubs.The two quality players that were being talked about around st marys have now signed for two other prem clubs! Michu,performance against q.p.r shows the class of the player, a snip for 2mil.Buttner signs today for man utd,speaks volumes when man utd come calling for a player! Come on NA and NC we need that kind of quality to see us through what will be the toughest premier league season to date.That said i was pleased with the performence on sunday but think adding to our backline is a must.Thoughts please...

My thoughts? Getting extremely annoyed with a minority of Saints 'fans' criticising the 2 people most responsible for getting us into the Prem from the bottom of league 1. Did we ever actually bid for Michu? Would prefer Ramirez anyway. Buttner choses CL etc over us, no surprise there. Clyne choosing us instead of a host of other Prem clubs is a real surprise.

It is now 340 days since Nottingham Forest were awarded a penalty in the Championship. We usually have at least one good appeal every game. Any other clubs gone longer than that?

Dont see Dzeko signing cause hes 3rd in line to play (aguero injured) if they sign Jovetic/Llorente then i could see us getting him but if that doesnt happen then it wont happen.

Llorente if the reports are true that he wants England then surely hes smart to think Spurs have no strikers, get a decent wage and play week in week out! Would like to think so anyway.

Im sick of Ade being a money grabbing (shant finish that) so if we can get someone i would give him the finger and say rot at city, we gave u the chance, showed how much we wanted u so enjoy not playing. (just annoyed at him i know its stupid lol)

finally i may get stick for this but in my opinion if we put faith kn big horse face (Carrol) i thinl.him being a target man and wee Defoe being a poacher and nabbing a few goals. i think its a massive risk but it could work! Just my opinion like.

We shoulf go for one of them and if we can get a nippy goalscorer to go with one of the big lads. great front line if we had that.

P.s im not predicting any of this.. im no Oracle!

I wish the daily refective glass would read their own blumming newspaper when they have printed today that we pulled matty out of milwall game because we didn't want to injure him! When on sunday they printed in their newspaper that (on holloways section) he was moving no where so please you have the contact of holloway so before you print rubbish like you did today check your facts ( didn't say southampton)

Why aren't we spending 6 million pounds on a CB to replace Hooiveld instead?? OR a LB to replace Fox. They're both far weaker positions for us than RM
