Bristol Rovers are to sell defender Adam Virgo. Virgo joined the club at the start of last season with Paul Buckle. McGhee has already worked with Virgo but has said it's up to the rovers board what they do. The offer seems too good for the gas to turn down for the defender who hardly played last season. It is believed to be in excess of 700,000 and the gas want to cash in.

I am starting to get a little worried pre season starts in just over a week and only signed jay. We all know we need a keeper full backs a centre half and a right mid. I think we need to get a move on so new lads have time to gel. Has anyone heard out.

I have heard Stoke are looking to bring in at least one fullback (or for pullis a centreback that can run) a midfielder and a 15+ goalscorer. Lookig like french fullback. Midfielder from bolton lee/davies looking likely and defoe (be nice but not likely due to wage demands) before that some deadweight would have to be shifted. Fed up of stoke being an england team from ten years ago

Rumours of Bristol Rovers' Chris Zebroski moving to West Ham are hotting up. Allardyce is said to be a big fan of Zebroski's mix of pace and strength with intellegence and touch, which very much fits into the Allardyce mold. Rovers are said to be holding out for £300,000 for the highly rated forward, however, and McGhee doesn't want to lose his star striker for anything less but may not be able to hold out against the players wishes. I would, however, be devasted if Zebroski leaves, but we should get premium for a player of his talent, West Ham have already offered £200,000 and are probably willing to go the extra £100,000.

Know money is tight, but, on a point of principl, wish we could tell yobo, he will be playing 3rd team football for the next season. When his brother was kiddnapped, the club gave him time off, and, so i'm told, offered a cash advance to free his brother, his gratitude has been "overwhelming". he has treated the club with contempt, wish we could repay the "compleament.
