McCormack wants to join Boro and the deal will be done hopefully on the weekend but if not then early next week. He is willing to hand in a transfer request to help the deal along if neccesary. Middlesbrough still working on a deal for Jordan Rhodes too and Middlesbrough is his first choice. This deal may go to the end of the transfer window it just depends on how much Blackburn want. Apparently the Ramirez deal is pretty much done and talk of a straight swap deal involving Matt Phillips from QPR and Albert Adomah. Karanka is more than happy with the defence this season but wants to add more fire power to ensure a top 2 finish. Expect a busy few days from Boro.
