Im not even a Burnley fan but anyone tipping them for relegation is an idiot. They have money to spend now and still have good players like Paterson, Bikey, Mccann and that Rodriguez ... They will be nearer to the play offs.

I'm not convinced that tony craig is actually going to feature too much this season for millwall- but any rumours linking hin with charlton, gillingham, colchester or anyone is totally ubtrue. I think it might be the same person creating sll the rumours to amuse themselves.
It makes it too easy fof us all to believe if hd is touted to local teams lower down the ladder. League positions dont lie.

javi hernandez to go too tottenham hotspur on loan for the season harry sees him as a good striker hernandez himself said he would be tempted by a move to white hart lane over old trafford

Believable4 Unbelievable4

I can see why he would want to go to spurs, he is young so why would he want to keep winning medals ata such a young age, when he could play in front of the quietest crowd in the prem and win nothing Might work.....

Premiership
Chelsea will finish top followed closely by United, I think that Chelsea will just grind it out this season after United have been the better by far the last couple of seasons. City will finish 3rd with Liverpool 4th. Arsenal performing even worse than this season. I believe that out of the 3 promoted teams only norwich will survive, only team who predicted to be down bottom end of table who have actually done their business. Many say poor business but I believe that many will be surprised by how they perform. QPR will battle it out for the last safe spot with Blackburn and Wigan, with Swansea having another season like Derby did a while back.
Championship
I think the teams who got relegated are gona be in for a right shock. The division was so balanced last year and with another 3 good teams coming up as well i could see only Birmingham getting promoted. A lot of strong, physical teams who will make West Ham, Blackpool and Birmingham have to fight til the bitter end for any points. Personally think that Barnsley, Doncaster and Peterborough will all go down next season.
Would like to no where people agree and disagree, without every1 jumping to conclusions saying that there nuts

Believable1 Unbelievable4

You serious think that the current chelsea team will win the league? its been clear that this chelsea team has seen better days for a while now, after losing the champions league in 2008, they should have made changes and not carry on with the same players, chelsea team is too old and needs new faces to win the league again, time for roman to dig deep again but with the new uefa rules and no sign of increasing the revenue, its gonna be hard.

Also a new young goalkeeper to replace the old and getting on abit Davis. No chance of getting Bellamy or any other radiculous signings (please exuse the poor spelling) :)

Davis is still one of the best Keeper's around and has good support in Bart. Also very good young keeper in Jack Dovey. Only 18 but 6ft 3ins and a superb prospect. Don't need anyone else.

Forget it Burnley. Bournemouth are selling Ings for 1 mill and above and it's mainly premiership clubs he's intrested in and it wont be till next season atleast becuase he's agreeing a contract to stay and develop. As for other players at Bournemouth no more players are being sold this year and only players are being brought so quit with the bull s**t rumours of clubs going in for Bournemouth players at shockingly low prices.

Leicester are not buying the league, they have just had some money and their spending it wisely - people like Matt Mills and David Nugent and Neil Danns. Proper good championship players who will FIGHT to win Leicester promotion. You heard it hear first.

Believable1 Unbelievable1

I will give you Matt Mills. I will even give you Neil Danns. But I will not give you David Nugent. If he is the spearhead to the Championship winning attack, then our League is going downhill.

West Ham are set to bid £7 million for Stoke defender Robert Huth. Huth is expected to ask for a longer contract and a bigger wage under Tony Pulis but if a deal cannot be agreed, Sam Allardye is keen to take him down a division.

Why would huth turn down the chance to play Europa league. Anyway huth is worth alot more than 7 million. More like £14 million

To all fans of other clubs, can I apologise for the arrogance of some of my fellow Leicester fans. Yes, we are excited about the new season, but, no, we are not complacent about success. I think it will be a very competitive league and believe we may be in the mix. I have no inside info, but believe we are after a striker who can be prolific and possibly a winger - then that is it. Hope to be Maynard as feels right, but let's wait and see? Up the foxes.....hope we can help make the Championship exciting this year.

Yes all these rumours about Brighton are complete bs and also completely not written by brighton fans. No mention of any of this carp on NSC, the fans forum. I imagine its all written by fans from rival teams such as chrystal palarse (because lets face it thats how sad they are) to try and stir up bad sentiment against Brighton. So to all fans saying oh shut up Brighton, stop being taken in by the complete CARP that is written on this website. Please, thankyou.

Balotelli has to be one of city's worse buys, and they have signed a few bad 1s.dzeko, boateng, lescott, adebayor, santa cruz, bridge, the list is endless and i cant even remember half the players signed since the takeover, either by mansour in 2008 or the thailand guy the year before, robinho, jo, bojinov, gelson, wright philips, so much money wasted , and not 1 of these players will ever be remembered as city legends.is this just the curse of modern day football, players and agents chasing the money, clubs buying their way to success i think.

Burnley could be placed under a transfer umbargo after an error Involving the transfer of Charlie Austin.

Whoever is posting this it's the biggest load of bull ever. The clubs spokesman and Burnley Express writer have announced there will be new signings today and tommorow.

Also believe me the last thing Burnley would be is in trouble with finances, Barry Kilby spend money on players wages if we haven't got it. Possibly the most cautious Chairman in the football league.

Right then Folks How Many of you think that Swansea will come down?, I'm A fan of the club so maybe my heart is ruling my head but here are a couple of reasons.

I think QPR are certs for bottom, I feel sorry for the fans but their board are wastes of space, that's all they want to do is argue amongst themselves on who has the most money and who controls the club, the best thing that could happen to QPR is one of the board buys out the rest and takes some responsibility, give Warnock some descent coin to spend, as for the current team, very average in the last half of the season, and without Taarabat (without doubt the best player in the Championship last year) are going to find life very difficult in the Premier league.

Wigan will struggle Again, I Am not Martinez biggest fan after the way he conducted himself a few years ago (publicly Persecuted players for wanting to leave and then F*ked off himself when a Premier league club came in for him, This I'm a saint because i didn't go to villa is sht, if the deal was right he would have gone) but wigan have been spending big for a while now and for the last couple of years have lingered far to long at the wrong end of the table when sides that spend similar amounts are now established and seem to look more secure (WBA, FULHAM, SUNDERLAND), think this is the year when the bubble bursts.

Of the more established sides I Think Blackburn could also struggle this year, Nothing against their manager i think he will end up being the first manager casualty of the season, they are not spending so will be no better than last year and the board seem to be full of false promises, I Know their fans wont like this but i reckon Newcastle could also be in the mix, We played them season before last at the liberty and the carthorse that's just gone to Liverpool (probably the best bit of business on the history of transfers from Newcastle's point of View) scored the Equalizer in the last 5 Mins, the way they celebrated you would swear they had just won the Champions league, we had 80% of the possession and that was they're only shot on target, and truth be told we Mucked up at the back, I saw nothing different every time i saw them last year.

Along with the other candidates, Norwich, Wolves and of course ourselves I Feel it could be a close battle of any 2 of the 6 clubs mentioned for the 18/19 places and I Feel 16-17 is well within the swans reach.

Jack

Believable3 Unbelievable0

Forgot to put in above that Swans fans need to be patient with out lack of transfer activity we are obviosly looking for tagets to help our cause and continue our sensible spending policy, its also no good signing players/pri maddonas who will want to bugger off if the worst case scenarios happen, we need palyer who will stick with us and help get back to the Premier league, as for our departures pratley yesy very good box to box scooring midfielder but we managed o.k. without him last year didnt we?, last year was his lowest appearences since joining the club. & de vries i was gutted but we will get another keeper, i personaly belive that his very good record was aided by the 10 people in front of him and our possesive style of football, i do not have the stats but he probably had less shots on target to save than any other keeper in the Championship last season, (he wont get that at wolves this year), our next keeper will also have those benefits, we cant count our chickens but if Bodde gets back to as half as good as he was then that would be like a 5M signing in itself.
JACK

I, like many other Brighton fans on here, are getting totally fed up with people making up all these so-called rumours about who is joining us. So far, apart from the great work the club done to get Craig Mackail-Smith, every single rumour has been complete bullS**t. All it is doing is giving our club a poor name, and after all the crap we have had for the last 14 years, we dont need any more. We now have a fantastic infra-structure in place, a great chairman, manager and team, and more importantly great fans, so just let us get on with enjoying the fantastic stadium that we deserve. If any more players come, then great, but let the management do it

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I am a Swindon fan and I wish you guys well, but some of the stories on here have been stupid to be polite.

I think you guys will do ok next year, for me you were the standout team in league 1 as were Norwich the year before and they did ok. When you start to see the revenue from your new stadium I think you will continue to grow.... Who knows Di Canio could get us up there again soon..... Good luck

I agree with you on the fact that the supporters brag about being promotion canidates, I'm a southampton fan and the only reason this is happening at the moment is because it is exicting times for our clubs due to recent promotion or amount of transfers made. All 3 of these teams will finish mid table In my opinoin. I don't think leicester will get promotion due to making too many signings...

Believable0 Unbelievable1

At the end of the day, you cant predict someones team before the season has started. I mean, who expected Sheffield United to go down last season? Who expected Norwich and Swansea to go up?
The Championships unpredictable, anything can happen. Although on the three teams above, Leicester clearly have the stronger squad, followed by Southampton then Brighton. But the season will depend on how they perform as team's.
