Liverpool FC won't spend much this transfer window and next season is going to be pretty rough going if Brendan Rodgers is still in charge, which looks likely and I reckon we'll struggle for mid table if the last ten league games are a guide. Not feeling positive about next season at all.

No we used the money from selling Grabban to Norwich to purchase Wilson.
The money from Lallana was a sell on fee. No favours. Even Boruc on loan was not a favour. We payed his wages & Southhampton didn't want him.
I'd also take a look at the amount of goals we scored. Even without Wilsons goals we would still have been at around the 80 mark, easily good enough for us to earn a play off place. We were by far the best team, coming top in nearly all the stats available & next season we will surely be most neutrals favourites & I can see us staying up.
So the nearest you came to 'doing us a favour' was the Boruc loan although we payed wages to a player not wanted at St Marys & out of contract at the seasons end. We were far from havo rely just on Wilson.
