From a VERY reliable source: Plymouth Argyle manager is desperate to bring in a creative centre midfielder and has made this clear to owner James Brent and his board. In light of this, the Devon club has made bids for two centre midfielders, one to a League 2 club and another to a League 1 club.

I wonder who they are?

Mk Dons looking to loan a Pacey winger, could it be Balanta coming back or maybe Sanchez Watt.

Jewell won't be sacked until a replacement is lined up same as with Magilton and Keane. It's believed that anything other than a win against Barnsley (ironic as it was the game that saved Jewell last year) and town will draw up a short list.

As Huddersfield Town beat Blackpool last night, Tom Ince has finally woken up, along with Matty Phillips and will sign for the terriers in January, Gary Taylor-Flethcher would also like a move back home but we are now too good for him ;)

you win one game and all off a sudden your amazing lol blackpool will still finish higher than you this year and not one of them players will be playing for the prem especially when phillips and ince are prem quality

LeicesterLad

Agree6 Disagree5

What a complete .......... post. town are not a prem side, and wont be for many years, so if ince went it certainly wont be to town, lol

Agree6 Disagree1

I agree with leicester lad ince is prem class and more than likely he will be there with blackpool next season jim lcfc

Agree3 Disagree5

The comment at 1016 yesterday just shows that every club has some persons supporting them. Town will look to consolidate this season. "One swallow does not make a summer".

Agree5 Disagree1

Won one game? I thought it was four out of seven?

i was refering to the lad commenting on how much of a good team your are coz you beat blackpool...all of a sudden your gonna be signing ppl like tom ince...its laughable, its a long hard season lets see if hes so confident at the end coz i know for a fact he wont be....

Leicester Lad, he's taking the wazz.

Wasn't it you and Blackpool Maximus having a go at Town pre-season with all the Rhodes posts (which were nothing to do with Town fans - we wanted to keep him unless we got, and yes it was, £8mill) and then capped it by saying you hoped we lost at Cardiff?
Well we did but we won at Blackpool. We'll lose more games but you've to enjoy the banter whilst you can. I hope you continue to underestimate Town.

LOL i hope you keep overestimating them mate, pre season all hudds fans were on ere signing every man and his dog, because you got promoted! You clearly all underestimate how hard the champ is, mid table at best for you!

LeicesterLad

Agree1 Disagree4

Oh and for the record i had no opinion bout the rhodes saga, the only time i mentioned town was when u were adament bout signing beckford and peltier

LeicesterLad

Agree1 Disagree0

We were linked with a lot of players, and we bought and loaned a lot of players, so what, isn't this a rumours site?
Most Town fans would be happy with mid table.
As for Beckford and Peltier. Beckford signed and your lot pulled the plug in the last 5 minutes of the window. Peltier you upped the price above what Town wee willing to pay for a squad player.

yeah its a rumours site but there wernt any legitamate rumours bout them going to town, peltier squad player? aint he leeds's captain?

LeicesterLad

Agree1 Disagree4

Yes, and have you seen him perform this season? The last season he had at HTAFC was average at best. Such a super star that you got rid of him!

Agree5 Disagree2

Lee Peltier Leeds captain, so what? Jack Hunt has come through the academy and more than replaced him. Peltier was good at League 1 level, but obviously did not make the grade at Championship level with Leicester.
Beckford actually signed the papers on deadline day and Leicester pulled the plug with 5 minutes to go, this was widely reported so how is this not a legitimate rumour? He is again being linked again on a 3 month loan as he is not making the Leicester squad. Look it up on the Hudds Examiner website. Personally not convinced as I'm not sure about his attitude so he may not fit in at Town, but Grayson knows him so to date his judgement on players has been excellent.

Yes it turned out that he nearely joined you ( wish he had ) but your missing the point, look at my chat history, nothing negative against huddersfield! the rumours i were seeing were early in the summer, well before transfer deadline day! it was a well known fact at the time of these rumours beckford was going no-where, he said so himself, some thing obviously changed towards the end of the transfer window. this was what my comments were based on, and as for peltier i think he is a good player and will do well for leeds, i for one didnt want him to go. he would still get in your starting line-up

LeicesterLad

Agree1 Disagree0

Peltier get in the Town starting line up, in place of who? At full back Jack Hunt last year played far better than Peltier ever did. It was rumoured we were getting him for fullback or midfield cover. He certainly would not start in midfield before Clayton, Norwood, Southern, Scannel and now Ward has upped his game.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
In what position?

you obviously didnt see peltier last season as you were watching league 1 all the way to wembley where you didnt even fill your end......... pitifull

LeicesterLad

{Ed020's Note - not even half a season and hudds town fans are already screaming there the best lol!! wait until after xmas and see where you are after the leagues settled. LEEDS LEEDS LEEDS M.O.T}

Agree1 Disagree3

They need to put more effort into doing their homework instead of spending time contributing to this site. Pop. of Leicester 330,000 (2011 Census); pop. of Huddersfield is less than half that.

Agree6 Disagree0

Ed020, where am I saying Town are the best? I am pleased with the start we have made, and don't believe we will be in the bottom 3, which is where some of your contributors believe we belong.
By the way I see we have signed Beckford on a 3 month loan, Leeds supporters on here were saying he would only sign for Leeds. You'll all now be saying you didn't want him. Personally not sure about him, but at least he is showing some good sense in choosing THE Yorkshire Club. {Ed020's Note - it seems to be the general talk around all sites, i was'nt identifying you specifically}

Back down to earth with a bang, Watford? lol

LeicesterLad

Watford beat us fair and square, although we looked jaded. Once Zola gets them more organised I think you will be surprised. I notice you haven't played them yet.

no we havn't but have played burnley, hull, and boro last 3 and won em all, all better than watford

LeicesterLad

Agree1 Disagree4

Town have beaten Burnley, Hull lost at home to Peterborough, and both Leicester and Middlesbrough are decent teams who have been beaten this season. All it shows is that anyone can beat anyone in this league.
