Former Watford midfielder Jonathan Hogg has signed with Huddersfield for family reasons. As a Watford fan, I've got to say I'm pretty disappointed, was looking forward to seeing Hogg again this year, but Huddersfield have got themselves a very competent, battling midfielder who will always work hard for the cause and won't stop running till the fat lady sings. Good luck to him in his future career.

Town have signed midfielder Jonathan Hogg from Watford on a 3 year deal. Sounds a promising player who Zola didn't want to lose but he wanted a move back north. Expect him to take the number 6 shirt

Tisdale won't be the next manager of Swindon. The club cannot agree compensation with Exeter. Former STFC legend and Torquay coach Shaun Taylor will come in to work alongside Mark Cooper as his Assistant Manager. Cooper will take the managers role on an interim basis.

Swindon felt Cooper was a stronger choice than Paul Groves and Paul Hartley who both were interviewed by the club.

Perhaps someone out there can help me but whatever happened to this "MARQUEE" signing West Ham were supposed to be getting?? Another load of old rubbish just to get tickets sold. Its pretty clear now that they wasted their budget on Andy Carroll (who I may add better deliver or West Ham are up the creek without a paddle and it serves them right).

I find west ham quite an amusing LITTLE team. They spend £15m (all the transfer budget) on Andy Carroll and now they have to wait to try and get rubbish other teams don;t want. History shows in the premier league that unless your Manchester United if you don;t strengthen with 4 or 5 signings every summer your team struggles because the premier league study how your team plays and that's why the second season is so difficult. WHat will west ham do with Andy Carroll when they get relegated because their squad is simply not good enough

It would appear that west ham have exhausted all of their striker options up to now and the club will have to go to Options D and E to try and fill that void. Plan D consists of buying players clubs don't want because they have managed to fill their squad with the targets they wanted (example Norwich who have two QUALITY signings and we are now after Snodgrass who they don't want anymore understandably. Basically we are now after Norwich City scraps!)
Plan E Allardyce is apparently going to wait until the squads have been named and we will go for players the rest of the clubs don't want which ius as we all expected because their is no money! The window started great for west ham but it's now turning into a joke. If Carroll gets an injury west ham have a big problem next season and all this rubbish about west ham only targeting quality players is now laughable.
How have teams like Swansea and Norwich managed to attract players west ham have failed at? Probably money because west ham have wasted it all on Carroll. instead of being sensible and spreading the transfer budget around. And Andy Carroll is the west ham answer to goals, I think not.

Norwich DO want Snodgrass, he is not 'scraps' & they will be keeping him.
