I can confirm former manager Steve Bruce will be replaced by Ex manager and fan favourite Peter Reid until 5/1/12. during that duration, Sunderland should have a experienced, hungry man to take them to Europe. early candidates as followed:
Ian Dowie(former assistant at Newcastle)
Nigel Worthington(Irish legend)
Lee Clarke(42 match unbeaten run with huddlesfield, also a Geordie like Steve Bruce)
Neil Lennon (championship winning manager with European giants celtic)
Kevin Keegan(no explanation available)
those candidates have all been interviewed, including former villa boss Martin O'neil. however the latter turned down the job immediately, and told sky sports news that he'd rather manage Shamrock Rovers.
that's all I have for tonight. Iama 'Geordie' Forthspot.

If Blackburn Rovers are relegated (looking very likely) & Birmingham City promoted back to prem then Scott Dann will rejoin Birmingham for a fee of round about 5 million. Also players like samba, Dunn, pederson, Nzonzi, hoilet, Robinson & yakubu will leave the club but David bentley will return to his former club & they will buy liverpool 3rd choice keeper Brad jones for a fee of £1 million and loan frimpong form arsenal for the full season. Starting line up for blackburn in the championship next year

Brad Jones
Salgado,Nelsen,givet,hanley
Bentley,grella,formica,lowe
Roberts,goodwillie

Subs: Bunn, Rochina, Keith Andrews, Blackman, frimpong {Ed003's Note -You really do need to keep up with things }

Hi Ed,
Young kid who works for me is a Steward at Liverpool and he tells me Dalglish is going to make a big offer for Eden Hazard but will face competition from Real Madrid, but will offer upto 40 million euro.
Also he says that Adam Johnson is our main target in the summer and a bid of 20 mill can be expected.
His info has been a little suspect at times but then other times he has been spot on, do you know anything of these two deals Ed? {Ed003's Note - I think he should concentrate on making people know where they should sit to be honest }

Ye ok so kenny got all of the stewards in one room and told them all were going to bid for hazard and johnson hmm i dont think so

Martin O'Neill is the fans choice as well as being the bookmakers early favourite to take over at Sunderland following the sacking of Steve Bruce. However, O'Neill is torn between taking on the team he followed as a youngster and holding out for the hotseat at Spurs should Harry Redknapp take over the England job from Fabio Cappello

Sunderland has asked Norwich to speak to Paul Lambert.

Lambert would like to speak to Sunderland after hearing his transfer budget for January.

If they cant agree a deal then they will apprach Nigel Adkins.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

There wouldn't be any transfer budget left after paying compensation for either of those two

Just want to say how refreshing it is to see ChelseaŹ©2003 losing games just like the old Chelsea that we all knew and loved!
ChelseaŹ©2003 arent a big enough club to be self sufficient, it was their plan to be but the cold, harsh reality dawned on the ChelseaŹ©2003 board and everyone there now concedes that they are in trouble with the new financial regulations just round the corner and the team needing significant investment to which ChelseaŹ©2003 cannot financially afford with the new rules. Dark days at Stamford Bridge but there again no doubt they will cheat and rename the ground at a very inflated price.

As a supper fox fan it makes me chukle inanely how maxi n his followers from blakrok , and the tools from ellend road spend alot of time posting how jelous they appear to be of walkers crisps and our club ( not that teyre conected) , they realy should chill out as its not big and not clever, but i for one do LOVE being HATED so much ;-)))

Believable0 Unbelievable8

I know mate ! your mum told us!

:-))))))))

maximus

Agree7 Disagree0

Shows what you know , you're obviously one of the most intelligent crisp munchers, ( I can tell by your spelling).
Walkers are still one of your top sponsors ( challenge me on that I dare you to look even more stupid!).
Plus you,ve spent 10 mill and we've spent about 400 thousand and we're above you ha ha.

Silly little fox, not so big and clever now are you.
Get mum to read you a book before bed. nighty night. MOT

Agree10 Disagree0

Walkers are no longer a major sponsor of Leicester City, sorry to disapoint you, but it's a matter of public record. The deal signed in 2002 was worth £600k per season to LCFC but had a 10yr lifespan and was ended early when the King Power group bought the naming rights to the stadium earlier this year. Walkers remain a legacy sponsor but are no longer considered a major sponsor and that is reflected by the investment - bummer eh, you were doing so well until you got everything wrong and ended up looking as bright as that maximus

Agree0 Disagree6

Erm but still a LEGACY sponsor as it says on your official site, bummer eh, I was right with what I said.
Wow you're not too bright down there are you? MOT

Agree5 Disagree0

Still sponsor you chump else it wouldn't be on the site.

Agree5 Disagree0

@thisisleicestershire.co.uk, 'next year walkers will be celebrating it's 25 year partnership with leicester city fc'
Thank you and goodnight, check it on you're laptop when you next go to a game muppet.

Agree5 Disagree0

Wow crispmunchers are thick.

Agree5 Disagree0

Erm, if they signed a 10 year deal in 2002, surely that ties them 'til 2012? o dear

Agree5 Disagree0

So... they still sponsor them then (legacy sponsor.

Agree5 Disagree0

Wow it's true junk food does affect the brain. MOT

Agree4 Disagree0

Christ, those crisp munchers could start a fight in a phonebox, glad to see he has so much support! Muppet fox

Agree3 Disagree0

C'mon ladies concentrate - the leeds nob said they were a major sponsor, they aren't, the 10yr deal was bought out, like i said. So, if you all get together and have yourselves a really really good think (tissues at the ready in case of nosebleeds) then you'll see that the dickhead leeds fan was wrong, amazingly, but he wanted an arguement about it, he wanted to be proved wrong, so i just did. Yes Walkers are still a sponsor but not a MAJOR sponsor like the dumbass claimed.

C'mon fella's, it's pretty obvious that most of you spend your days stacking shelves at ASDA or running around at McDonalds, but it's stuff like this that's holding you back. Concentrate... i bet none of you thicko's listened at school did you? I bet you dossed around and thought you were clever, and now i bet that getting on the Jeremy Kyle show is your ultimate ambition. If it wasn't so sad it'd be funny, night night ladies.

Agree0 Disagree1

Blimey fellas, it's not rocket science, all you had to do was read the post properly and you'd have seen the words "legacy sponsor" and "10yr deal ended early", but you're all so desperate to score points that you ignored the facts written down for you! One dullard even went to the bother of looking on thisisleicestershire, and STILL got it wrong! Walkers ARE still a sponsor of Leicester City (like i said) but they're NOT a major sponsor (like i said), well done girls.

Agree0 Disagree1

My apologies to the Eds for the double post, didn't mean to cause you more work, i forgot i'd already replied.

Agree0 Disagree0

Just to put this to bed, the leeds fans reply to the original top spelling fox was that the crisp munchers are still sponsored by walkers ( when you foxes learn to read you'll see (( if you can crack the muppets spelling)) that he said leiceister and walkers were no longer linked).
So please stop boring us all, you lot started the post and were suprised you were corrected.
It's not diffficult.

Leeds United have announced details how they plan to pay tribute to Gary Speed at Elland Road against Millwall on Saturday.

Both teams will wear black armbands with the Whites players and management wearing black armbands embossed with 'Speed 11'

A minute's applause will also be held ahead of the game after which both Simon Grayson and Millwall manager Kenny Jackett will lay wreaths.

A video montage featuring remembering Gary Speed will be played on the big screen.

Fans will also pay tribute with a special banner to Gary with the words 'Go on Gary Speed, get one yourself son' a reference to the famous commentary which accompanied his famous goal against Sheffield United in April 1990.

* Leeds United v Millwall kicks off at 12.30pm.

All,

Ive just sent an email to Leeds Utd
reception@leedsunited.com whish reads as follows. It suggests that for Saturday at least they reduce ticket prices to provide a full house at ER and give Gary Speed a send off he deserves. Can I ask that you all send emails, place on facebook and twitter to push this for Saturday

FAO Messrs Bates and Harvey,

In view of the current outpouring of grief over the very sad loss of Mr Gary Speed and the excellent tribute paid to him by the amazing Leeds Utd away fans last night at the City Ground would it not be prudent to allow the home fans to pay their own tribute this Saturday against Millwall.

Perhaps reduce the ticket price for this game to those that do not already have tickets? Fill the ground and give Gary Speed the best send off we Leeds fans know how. In addition it would provide a fantastic atmosphere and may be the catalyst for improved home form? A full house at Elland Road would provide extra income to the club, with more programmes, pies and pints sold, perhaps something to consider for the future Messrs Bates and Harvey?

Whatever your decision, as a club, please give it your very best between now and 12.30 on Saturday to sell as many tickets as possible. The current financial climate has an impact on us all, hence the reduced attendances this season, I am sure that even just for this game the majority will find the spare cash to purchase a ticket at the high prices currently sold at, to what will be a very special and emotional day, please play your part and reduce the ticket prices.
