Cheltenham Town have agreed a fee for Bristol Rovers striker Chris Zebroski. The fee is thought to be in the region of £25,000.

Seems a little suspect how 7 new faces appear yet NO money has been spent acquiring them. Wouldn't surprise me if we saw a pair of strikers conclude our summer 'spending' on frees. Zola has already stated how good our squad looks to him so i guess there's a lot of faith work needed to be done by supporters in the first few months of the season.

The Tommy Smith 'rumour' is fantasy - There is NO source to back it up! £300k+ for a player in his 30's just won't suite the regime and as we've seen with Dyche, the Pozzo's hold no value to club loyalty. {Ed003's Note - Does anyone else not feel alarmed at this 'loophole' around the fairplay rules that Watford seem to be using ? 'no fees' ?

Believable3 Unbelievable2

Can u explain how taking a player on loan without a fee being paid has all of a sudden become something that is wrong? IF this is the case then why do FIFA or FA say nothing about it in the fairplay rules . ALSO check the FA rules on transfers / LOANS and tell us where it states a FEE is required

After signing Sam Vokes from Wolves today, Burnley manager Eddie Howe now has just 2 players left on his shopping list before the season starts! Sammy Clingan of Coventry and Brian Stock of Doncaster! The sale of Stevie Fletcher from Wolves to Sunderland will give Burnley there sell on clause fee which will allow them 2 wrap up the signings of Clingan and Stock!

Believable0 Unbelievable2

Stock....yes....Clingan...no thanks....he is a League One standard player.

Cardiff City planning a Keep Cardiff Blue Protest (KCB) Seems an element of the support still trying to keep the club Blue there being strong opposition to the owners Change to Red and full red branding of the club

Supporters are not buying the new red strips and plan to wear Blue old kits to Home games

Believable2 Unbelievable2

Even though I have never bought a club shirt, I am buying a red one this season. If only to **** off those KCB persons.

any news on players barnsley are going to sign

Believable0 Unbelievable2

Even in a poor championship, Barnsley will struggle as their summer ins and outs show a lack of further ambition and, almost, a resignation to life in League One in 2013/2014.
Barnsley are not an attractive proposition for prospective signings, so don't get excited about any future signings, sad to say.

I love this:

West Ham watching Maccabi Tel
Aviv striker Papa Moussa Konate ...!

NOTE: This kid is playing in front of DAME
N'DOye and other noteable Senegalise
strikers and West Ham Watching him?

In true hammers fashion they will now
wait until the media has turned all its
attention to this kid and then in true
hammers tradition offer Maccabi Tel
Aviv stupidly low fee and get blown
out of the water by FULHAM/QPR/NORWICH
as per usual

You think the hammers would have learned by their mistakes by now and get in their first
with respectable bid

Fellow west ham fans, I have to say
this whole Carroll, big name saga
etc. is exactly what we didn't need
to get involved in this summer. This
summer was about improving the side
to be ready for the Premier League,
getting players in who will improve
the squad and compete with what
we have already. And getting these
guys in early in order to have the
best preparation possible. IF we stay
up then next season we can look
at improving with bigger names etc.
Look at Reading and Southampton,
quietly gone about their business,
no upheaval, settled squads.
I can see both of those clubs being much more prepared for the new season
than us. WHAT AN ABSOLUTE LAUGHING STOCK WE ARE FAST BECOMING and IN THE MEANTIME WE ARE SELLING OUR CURRENT STRIKERS. WHY IS IT THAT SULLIVAN AND GOLD LOVE THE LIMELIGHT its a sham

Believable4 Unbelievable3

A honest West Ham fan (Well i hope so) You don't see many. West Ham trying to do QPR and will they go one step further and hit relegation. Only time will tell. (I am not saying it will, it could.)

West Ham have admitted that they
are now likely to lose out on Berbatov because of the failed Carroll bid.

Are they for REAL! And they really expected to sign Andy Carroll. R U Having a laugh.

As we can see from rumour control:

Baldock on his way out as is Maynard
and Picquionne which leaves them with
Knackered Knees Cole and Maiga!

With 2 weeks to go until Kick off
West ham are turning into a laughing
stock and likely to have no strikers
for kick off day

Why are they not concentrating on trying to get Konate, Rhodes, Joselu, Jones etc to
give themselves so fire power instead of wasting a week chasing dreams.

They need to get the flippin bids in and secure some more strikers. They are about to bring
in 3 defenders but striker deals are a
shambles

Not sure about the rest of you true die hard west ham fans, but I'm getting a little sick
of hearing all this rubbish about Andy
Carroll who one minute is joining West Ham and then next minute he isn;t. It has got to be season ticket time renewal cause this is the biggest load of poo I have heard in a long time. Why would we want a Donkey thats gonna cost us £20m who don;t wanna come to us, when there is better out
there for less money. Are Gullivan REALLY
going to splash £20m on this donkey?
