After Southampton's poor performance without Lambert, Nigel Adkins will make a new striker his top priority in January.
Ha ha keep on looking for excuses.
No excuses. Our away form was again poor for a team with promotion ambitions. However i have 100% confidence that Cortese and Adkins will take appropriate action and a new striker was probably a top priority before today's defeat.

Chelsea have accepted transfer requests from Alex and Anelka after a falling out with AVB. Bayern Munich are interested in Alex and will table an offer of around £8m for him. Anelka is wanted by Anzhi,Tottenham and PSG. Chelsea will buy Diego Godin is January for around £12m to replace Alex, Anelka will not be replaced. Kalou,Drogba,Torres and Malouda are all thought to be unhappy with AVB and are considering their futures I don't want to see good players leave but it's nice to see a manager actually making decisions at Chelsea without getting fired maybe Roman is learning that it is not him and senior players who should run the club but the manager he pays so much to do so. {Ed002's Note - You need to try and figure out the difference between banter and BS - absolute nonsense.}

Chelsea had more shots on target, off target and more possession. Pardew complains about Chelsea celebrating at the end - what an unbelievable loser ! His team have just enjoyed the most fantastic pieces of luck since the season started and he complains about someone not being sent off - what a guy !

Friday 2nd December 2011 the draw is made for Euro 2012 finals ... Tournament doesn't start till June 2012 , but apparantly ENGLAND will play Spain in the Quarter Finals ... is it any wonder no one outside ENGLAND can stand the ENGLAND football team .... so arrogant and full of yourselves , France , Sweden and Ukraine needn't bother turning up eh ? {Ed003's Note - What on earth are you talking about ?? Thank you Ed .. at last an Englishman who is a realist , as usual the draw has been fairly kind to yous , but France are regrouping well , Sweden are your bogey team at tournaments and Ukraine are the host nation and have a few good players , you will need to play really well to qualify , as for winning the trophy , you are very much rank outsiders , not in the class of Spain , Holland , Italy and Germany , i only wish the English media would stop getting under everyones skin by saying England have no one to fear , it spoils peoples enjoyment of the tournament .

My sarcastic response was that if you had qualified, 'yous' would be making more noise than all the other nations put together. England fans are prob more pesimistic about our chances than you are but why is our passion considered to be arrogance north of the border?
