Lee Barnard to join Bournemouth until the end of the season as he cannot get into the saints squad with his problems with manager Nigel Adkins and his off the field problems. The cherries are keen to bolster the front line and is well known with the players and management as he played with flahavan Francis Barratt Malone and manager lee Bradbury is keen to sign him up pretty quick as other teams are keen to sign him too

He is out injured for the next two months or so...

Reason norwich maybe signing naughton for 2 mil is cos hes only got 6months left on his contract and hes barely played a game for spurs in the 2 or so years hes been there. You cant sell a player for profit with such a short length of time, especially when hes barely played for you.

Believable3 Unbelievable0

"Get gone mad mick"?....it has'nt taken long for you lot of backstabbers to stick the knife in to your manager has it?.....only a few months ago when the season started when you were all singing his praises and shouting what a good manager he was ( i actually think he still is), if he goes tell me who else will turn you around?..minimal spending, minimal talent, minimal squad???....who else of any note would even want the job, get real wolves fans, you are little boys in a big mans world and you are not cutting it and that is going to be the case no matter who is in charge there. To the Swansea fan . This is the Swans first season and they are doing well , good passing team . Staying in for any length of time is very tough , especially if the club you support does not have large finances or abig fan base . My team Wigan have stayed in the prem for 7 years , which by anyones standards is remarkable considering finances etc .When you have been in for 7 consecutive seasons then you may be able to start bragging . JRF Wigan and Proud .

.....wind your neck in fella. In football, as with most things, you can't live on previous glories. Ask Liverpool, Dortmund, Sampdoria, Forrest, Leeds, West Ham and even Swansea. Your team will only ever be where their performance/results leaves them.

He came in a dual deal worth 9.5m, so why would spurs be soo dumb as to sell him for a loss? He will sign a new contract and that will be that and Norwich City can carry on with their carrot crunching.

I think most hornets would be happy with anywhere beween 14 & 17 especially as we were tipped for relegation at the start of the seasn

Believable1 Unbelievable3

Lets face it birmingham are not going to finish 13th even though they have not had the best of starts in europe they showed that they are a top quality side getting away wins in europe over brugge the first english club to win ther for years and also agains slovenian champions maribor so they also made blackpool look awful and you've put them to finish 5th you really have no idea

Agree1 Disagree0

I agree with brum not finishing 13th , think you will be around play-offs , still think blackpool just outside , most teams in this league have off days , blackpool v brum was one of them , at our ground 2-2 , we should of won, best team in this league on everyones day is cardiff! closely followed by west ham.
then f*** me you cant rule out anyone apart from covenrty and barnsley .

As a Liverpool fan, I knew it wasn't goin to happen in 1 season but seriously I don't get kenny sometimes I think the critisism of Carroll is uncalled for. Why have a player of such promise who is literally up front on his own with no service! Downing on the right and maxi/bellars on the left fair enough if they came in and had a shot but they should be whipping it in for andy. And every time we seem to be on the break we stop, turn around and pass it back to the defence! We need a few more players like Suarez who can create something out of nothing. We bought Adam for his set pieces- which I really can't see and all he seems to do is foul. I really think 4 or 5 players are needed before we can talk about challenging for anything again .....

Believable0 Unbelievable0

More like 8-10 players.

lallana to man u?
maybe in a couple of years, why leave a table topping club and the chance of winning the title he has already worked so hard towards just to be a cup player for fergie?

Believable4 Unbelievable0

Here's a thought bigger and better club and prem football not some tin pot club like yours

Agree3 Disagree1

Or even end of season but tbh think United can do better with their resources.

Agree0 Disagree4

Hes a local lad and will become a legend when promoted with our tin pot club. better than utds bench anyday

Agree1 Disagree3

Right number 1 your tin pot team won't get promoted latest results show you that number 2 when a club like united come calling and offer him 3or 4 times more then what his getting now he won't care how local he is or sitting on the bench sums you up and how little you know of football

Agree3 Disagree0

Here's a thought, Right number 1 - United lost to City 6-1 and Blackburn 3-2 so United haven't a hope of winning the Prem with those results, have they? Number 2 when a club like Arsenal come calling for a player we don't want to sell, we make 'em submit countless offers over at least 3 months until we get our price. He ain't going in January.

Agree1 Disagree1

Definately wont leave in jan purely out of pride, hes worked his nuts off all season to help saints get where they are why jump ship now when were in a great position to push on and get promoted, there seems to be alot of jealousy towards saints this season but i guess we should expect that after beating virtually every one in this division with all there so called " star names"
Cant wait for our little dip to end and get back to destroying everybody again COYR

Agree0 Disagree0

Top turkey stuffers

Agree0 Disagree0

They have won exactly 8 more points
than u lot this season, and we don't waste huge amounts of money on transfer and wages for over-rated so called star players like Barton, Wright Phillips and Ferdinand.
Also we have a manager who respects the opposition manager and players and also respects his own players, that why he will be a target for one of the top sides in premier, and why the so called lesser players we have bought from Div 1 and championship are playing so well for him.
PS-apparently the FA do not agree with Warnocks and Bartons rantings about cheating since the 3 match ban for Barton has been upheld, no loss really based on the performances I have see you ain't missing much.
As for Managers Warnock (Mr 'he cheats, they cheat, my team was robbed
etc etc, yawn, heard it all before) VS Paul Lambert (one of the brightest young mangers in Prem) No contest !!

Please Guys, stop all this rubbish about Cavani, Lavessi,
Shiquiri, Pato, etc.

Liverpool are primarily looking for English players with maybe one stop gap exception.

Lucas will not be replaced and neither will Suarez.

Liverpool are a working progress and aren't looking for a top 4 finish this season.

Bent is a possibility, but don't expect more than two transfers coming in.

Believable7 Unbelievable0

Fully agree, i particularly enjoy it when people write their "rumors" like they're newspaper journalists or something. Ever notice how clubs are "set to sign"? norwich city has had a new trophy room built the grand opening will be on sat , delia stated she was delighted on the spped of which the 28, by 23 inch tropy room was built and thanks dfs for its completion and any silverware donations would be greatfully recieved , diss town is rumoured to oblige..
also rumoured is that a new stand to be built as a thanks to its loyal fans , the jeremy kyle stand will be built in the comming year .
also rumoured is that norwich will be holding councilling days for fans to get them over the fact that norwich will never eclipse the standard set by their rivals ipswich town

As an independant between the East Anglian clubs i have to say it appears Norwich are the more popular team with fans who support neither. Their 93-94 Uefa cup run is mainly responsible and the passing style they played with. They are still the only English club to have EVER beaten Bayern Munich in Germany and they did it as rank outsiders. The Munich boss had spoken on TV about who they would get in the next round! I believe Norwich lost each leg of the semi-final 1-0 with a Dennis Bergkamp penalty the difference each time but they probably deserved to make the final. That same season i saw them lose 1-0 to a Ryan Giggs wondergoal at Old Trafford but for most of the game United were played off the park. I've never seen anyone else dominate united like that in posession on their own pitch. Apart from this i have no real affinity with Norwich but that year they brought a hell of a lot to the English game and entertained us all. The likes of Mark Bowen, Ian Crook, Jeremy Goss (his goal against Leeds that year was one of the best ever seen.), Chris Sutton, Efan Ekoku, Ruel Fox & Darren Eadie. I know Ipswich won the league in 62, the FA Cup in 78 and best of all the UEFA cup in 81, and Norwich only have 2 trophies (the league cup twice in 62 & 85), but they led the league for most of the season in the 92-93 season and a couple of slips late on saw them finish 3rd. This is more recent than Ipswich's success and Norwich have done so well in the last Two years that even Ipswich fans should congratulate them. And let's not forget the aggregate score between them last year. I am not biased to Norwich but Ipswich's success was before my time and all i know is that the Norwich team of 93/94 played amazing football and made my year. If they hadn't sold the likes of Sutton and most of their other promising players, i think that team could have gone onto win something big. Shame, but good to see them back. (An independant Norwich admirer).

Tadanari Lee has travelled to Southampton to sign a contract on Thursday. Also on that day Jason Puncheon will hold talks with Nigel Adkins about his future, if it's decided he has no future at the Saints he will be offered to Blackpool with £1million for Matty Phillips. Lukas Jutkiewzc will also join sooner rather then later after Rickie Lambert's suspension thanks to the cheating of Brighton and Adam El-Abd. Saints are aslo looking to sign a goal-scoring central midfielder as cover for the injured Richard Chaplow. Liam Fontaine is still wanted by Saints to provide cover for Jos Hooiveld.

Believable0 Unbelievable2

Saints fans dont like losing do they? get over the red card. He had to go, he retaliated. You cant do that ! (unless your a cheat...oh, yeah he must be in a Southampton shirt.

Agree1 Disagree2

Nah, unlike Brighton we are not used to losing. Respect to City who actually deserved their victories. Lambert 'retaliated' and Poyet's support for Suarez says it all really. Think Fontaine is injured, again, so would presumably fail medical, again.
