We have a very high amount of English players in our first team, higher than most in the Prem, ie Clyne, Shaw, Cork, Rodriguez, Lambert, Lallana, Puncheon, Ward-Prowse to name a few, clearing out the players who can't cut it in the premiership, english or not makes perfect sense!

To all Nottingham Forrest fans. You have money to spend yes we know this, however if you want to win the championship or gain promotion you need to buy proven strikers in the SPL, championship or everdise for example. Ok you are looking to buy Billy sharp, although it looks like Reading have him, he really isn't going to get you 20 goals a season. If you want good strikers go for Gary Hooper, Leigh Griffiths or possibly nugent. Or go for an upcoming striker aswell as a proven one, Nakhi Wells for example get him now before he costs big money he has a big future. You need to know how to spend your money and not just waste it.

Sharp is a prolific goalscorer at Championship level and would be an absolute bargain for the £1-2 Million being quoted for him. Nugent had one decent season, since then he has been utter tosh
