Derby County News Update
Michael Jacobs will be joing derby after he confessed to Local Papers/people that he will be leaving for derby.
Krystian Pearce is transfer listed at 135k derby have offered 120k
Derby have offered a contract to Karleigh Osbourne who has also recieved contracts from Charlton and Nottingham Forest
Paul dixon will not be signing for the rams after his contract demands proofed to much for what we would offer him
so he will be poised to sign for Bristol city should no-one else make contact.
Therefore derby have stepped up their chase on Joe mattock who is free after his release from west brom
but derby face competiton from Brighton who are keen to keep him.

Ashley Vincent has been released by Colchester United. The winger was one of the players who was on a high wage but was very injury prone wwhich lead to his release.

So basically Reading have had loads of rumours going around. Most of it is rubbish but here's what's really going on.
Reading had a lot of loanees last season.
1) Matt Connolly. A fee has been agreed between the two clubs after it became clear that MC is surplus to requirements at QPR.
2) Hayden Mullins. Is currently a free agent. He filled the breach left by Karacan after he broke his ankle. Reading are discussing about bringing him in on a permanent deal which will be clarified before the start of the new season.
3) Benik Afobe. Youn Arsenal prodigy. Afobe did very little and Reading aren't looking into the possibility of bringing him in because they're looking for more proven strikers.
With regards to new signings.
1) Gylfi Sigurdsson. His move to Swansea broke down after the resignation of Rodgers. Likely that he will follow Rodgers but Reading are on red alert if a deal fails to materialise.
2) Carlos Sanchez. This move has stalled due to disparities in contract expectations between club and player.
3) Adrian Mariappa. Reading are looking to improve on their 2m offer after it was rejected.
Outs:
1) Simon Church. Many Championship clubs are looking into his availability and it looks like he could end up at Watford or Brighton for a fee of around 850k. Personally, I think he's worth about 50p but there you go.
2) Michail Antonio. Big targets for both Sheffield Wednesday and Charlton with Sheff. Wed looking more likely after a successful loan spell. Reading want about 700k. Very steep for a player proven at L1 level
3) Sean Morrison. Will end up at Huddersfield after successful loan spell
Reading also looking into buying a proven premiership striker, probably looking at relegated sides as well. Targets include Yakubu, Defoe and Owen however none of these are likely so mcdermott may try to sign rhodes
