Norwich City are keen on bringing in Valenciennes left back Gatan Bong as competition for Javier Garrido, The player is already great friends with Sebastien Bassong and would very much like for the move to come as he wants a chance to play in the Premier League.

Well that didn't happen

Signing Monday

Young St Mirren sensation John McGinn wanted by Bolton Wanderers

Blackburn have had a bid accepted by Bradford for Nahki Wells. Not sure of the fee but I have been told it will be a player/s plus cash deal with money and 1/2 players heading to Bradford in return for Wells. The names I've heard mentioned going to Bradford are Jordan Slew and Lee Williamson but don't quote me on that.

What are Blackburn going to buy Wells with? chickens! Due to their current ownership Blackburn are the football leagues laughing stock! No disrespect to the fans though. Wells would be mad to go with a club as unstable as them!

Same s*** different team wells is not going anywhere he is staying at Bradford unless we get a big offer i. e over 1.5 million

Forest maybe?

Haha, blackburn have money, the owners are clueless but I work in Manchester with 2 blackburn fans and Venkys are losing 40m in the next year and the rovers fans appreciate that. They have assets in the billions, that a few more quid than us

Blackburn are losing £2m a month, I'm not sure the Venky's will be stumping up much more money for transfers, especially when you look at the latest 3 recruits of individuals I've never heard of.

Re Venky's assets, I can't see them liquidating their business empire to keep Blackburn afloat, and Blackburn now need Venky's more than ever as if they go the club will go into administration. The joys of foreign ownership.

We will sell JR this summer to prem outfit, as loads interested, then bring in more dross as shown by latest signings, financial woes over

Norwich look set to beat Everton and West Brom for the signing of Ola Toivonen. PSV had put a £4m price tag on the Swedish striker, which Hughton is prepared to match. He sees the Swede as a potential partner for Van Wolfswinkel next season

I'm a canaries fan who has previously lived & worked in the Netherlands and during my time there I was lucky enough to get to watch Toivonen a lot. These posts are calling him a striker but I have to tell you that's not right. He can play as a second striker if required but he's usually considered to be an attacking midfielder.

Perhaps he is not good enough for teams like WBA and Everton

Norwich are not leading the race for this player and both everton and west brom are prepared to match his valuation

That would be good, but could also mean Hoolahan could be out?

Toivonen would be an excellent signing but will cost in the region of 5-6M- he has better numbers than Shelvey and is a fully tried and tested at this level. City have no specialist cover for Hoolahan at CAM and the position is crucial in 4231 as it has to deliver goals and assists and Toivonen does both. His club have him signed till 2014.

Just because one player comes in doesn't automatically mean Hoolahan will be on his way out. He's a fan favourite and signed a new contract this season, he should stick around for a while longer.

This has been confirmed by lots of Dutch websites. Price agreed between the 2 clubs is 5.5m euros but he has not agreed personal terms with Norwich as yet.

Just watched some vid clips of Toivenen and to put it mildly he can certainly look after himself. But if he plays like that in the EPL he will get more yellow cards than goals. He makes Holty look like an angel by comparison.

Proper dirty player in the Sergio Ramos mould- really knows how to fool a referee.

10 Jun 2013 21:51:49
According to reports Norwich City have matched Dutch side PSV's £4m asking price for their Swedish forward Ola Toivonen.

The only reports I can find claim that fulham are closing in on a 2mill move. so i'm not sure where you are getting this from

It's from the Swedish press.

Stuart McCall to be interviewed for the Wigan Post, after turning down Sheff Utd, on Financial Footing grounds, its suggested that He is keen for the move after watching his Motherwell Team get dismantled over the summer with more to follow. Motherwell will struggle to maintain a top flight position within the SPL. So Wigan, appears to be the choice.

Midfielder Jimmy Smith, recently released by Leyton Orient, has signed for Stevenage.

Great player, give 100%, scores goals, very sorry to see him go.

Good to hear, I think he is a replacement for Akins who should be leaving soon.

Great player? That's why he wasn't offered a new contract & released & spent most of the season on the bench. If he was a "great player" he wouldn't be signing on a free transfer for Stevenage would he?

He is a great player but he has a high salary and Orient cannot afford to keep him. With only 60% of wages going against turnover how can Orient with an average gate of 3, 800 maintain a team.

12 Jun 2013 16:51:45
His a good player but certainly not great and i'm sure if slade wanted to keep him we would have kept him within the budget, we could better and i'm sure we will.

He kept the bench warm? He played 44 games for you last seaon

Yeah and 40 of them apperances were from the bench for the last 10min. Not a league 1 player.

He rarely started games most of his appearances where of the bench, as been said before his an ok signing for you, but if your expecting more your be disapointed!

He will be a good signing for stevenage. He will certainly help in their relagation scrap for next season, but not good enough for the Os as they are looking towards the Championship.

10 Jun 2013 21:06:42
Tranmere 'keeper Owain Fon Williams has stalled on talks over a new contract and now looks set to leave the League One club with Blackpool interested.

We (Blackpool) will be in the market for a new keeper to try and put pressure on Matt Gilks so I suppose there could be some legs in this if the info re his contract at Tranmere is right

Depends if he wants guaranteed first team football, for me Gilks is a top keeper.

Gilks was woeful last year (like most).

With someone to push him he may regain his previous form but he needs that competition.

Hes a great shot stopper and made some very good saves last year, not saying he's perfect all round but he's one of the best in the championship

Like I said a couple of years ago maybe, last year he was terrible, made the odd good save and cost us at least a dozen goals, there's plenty. Better about

10 Jun 2013 20:27:02
Stuckmann to sign a new contract with Preston weather Rudd signs or not.

10 Jun 2013 21:56:11
rudd is signing when he returns from England duty

Sheffield United INS:

Simon Church (Released By Reading)
Courtney Cameron (Released By Aston Villa)
Reece Brown (Released By Man United)
Conor McAleny (Everton-£50k)
Matthew Kennedy (Everton-£70k)

Any Reading fan who has watched HRK would be glad to see the back off him.
Looked ok in 3 or 4 four Prem games but that's it as the previous 2 seasons hardly made the bench let alone make a start. The worst touch of any winger I have ever seen over runs the ball and always has to cut back on his left as he can't use his right at all. No better than a good league 1 player so give us £50 just take please god take him!

We paid more than that for Kennedy last year

Hal has been one of are best players I've been at every home game for the last 10 seasons and he has been superb for us recently and we should not want to see the back of him

Nothing here about HRK? But he is an amazing player of clear premiership quality. You clearly don't go to enough games

^ HRK an amazing player ^ clearly the posting of HRK's agent who is also HRK's brother. Been watching Reading for years and I'd wouldn't mind if he was moved on as it seems like replacements are to be announced to cover any postion vacated by player seeking an exit

10 Jun 2013 20:17:43
Bury set to sign Calvin Zola from Burton Albion and free agent Robbie Blake who was recently released from Doncaster Rovers.

Blake would be good at that level still has the mind for the game but carries too much timber these days

10 Jun 2013 20:16:11
Several English championship clubs are battling it out for Gary Mackay Steven

Not really very insightful this rumour, is it? Give us a clue, mate! Which clubs (just throw a few names in - Leeds must be one of them? Barnsley? Etc etc)

11 Jun 2013 00:12:13
Leeds, Bolton, Forest, Derby, Blackpool, Millwall, Burnley, Birmingham

11 Jun 2013 07:43:10
Don't forget Huddersfield are having another look at him!

10 Jun 2013 20:42:03
Wade Elliot has been in bournemouth over the weekend and has signed

Wade Elliott has indeed rejected a contract offer from Birmingham City to sign for Championship dark horses AFC Bournemouth.

11 Jun 2013 13:19:05
Just seen Chris Baird in Bournemouth, could be a decent signing?

11 Jun 2013 13:20:52
Anyone know who this defender from celtic is people keep talking about?

Wade elliot is an experienced player and was very talented at bournemouth but will he be good again i'm not sure?

Apparently he's a big tall centre half

He's a defender, and he plays for Celtic.

I think the defender is rogne, recently released by celtic

Who is? and what links to afcb?

Thomas Rogne is currently playing for Norways u-21s. He has been released by Celtic.

Thomas rogne, norweigan centre half, 6 foot 4, age 22 - played 50 times for celtic since 2010, out of contract

where did this rumour originate? who's been talking about him with regards to afcb? looks like a player with big potential

10 Jun 2013 20:36:28
Shay Given interested in a move to the east midlands and nottingham forest billy davies looks to offer the experienced keeper a 2 year contract

10 Jun 2013 20:04:11
Morecambe are searching for a replacement for Lewis Alessandra, who has verbally agreed to join Crewe. The likeliest prospect so far looks to be James Poole, a former team-mate of Shrimps striker Jack Redshaw during his time in Man City's reserve side.

Hartlepool have extended Poole's contract for season 2013/2014

Alessandra has joined Plymouth

10 Jun 2013 20:16:01
david goodwillie is wanting a move back to dundee united not rotherham

10 jun 2013 19:49:33
yeovil to sign southampton under 21 player
sam hoskins

10 Jun 2013 19:48:53
Amoo to Glasgow Rangers next week, done deal.

10 Jun 2013 19:45:52
I'm a Watford fan and I have recently heard that our ex player Mark Yeates who we have released has been linked with a move back to Sheffield United and also Ipswich Town are looking at him as well.

Decent winger with championship experience. I myself would go with Dale Jennings and Kevin Brands over Yeates though.

Mark Yeates played centre mid this season and was excellent in this position. He hasn't really got the pace as a winger and always disappointed so would think if clubs have seen him play this season they would be signing him based on him being a central midfielder

How much do sheffield united players earn a week (roughly)?

Under 21's 750p/w over about 3k

10 Jun 2013 19:43:47
HRK of reading fc to move to cardiff for 1.5 million HRKs agent is his brother who also represents alex pearce and AZ is not prepared for a repeat of the alex pearce scenario where he loses a valuable asset who has came through the academy for nothing because of games played by the players agent

£1. 5M? AZ would rather lose him for free next season then accept that paltry offer. It'll be £4M minimum.

P. S. He was released by Arsenal as a kid so didn't strictly come through are academy as they didn't think he was good enough and they don't make many mistakes.

He's signing a new contract. Besides itll take £4m minimum for us to sell

Hrk tweeted he's in talks about a new deal

Arsenal don't make mistakes?. Two words Marouane Chamakh.

Well he did come through academy we signed him at like 14.

The reason they let him go was because he was short and too weak. he's now 6 foot

11 Jun 2013 18:04:37
Hrk to sign new 2 yr deal on more money after being impressed with adkins and being assured of more starts however the new deal will come with a non promotion clause with him being able to leave the club after next season for 5 milllion if the club fail to win promotion

I really hope HRK stays at Reading he is one of a very small amount of physically strong and fast wingers. I think Kebe is great but he is not strong and Mcanuff is neither. Plus in our last few games in the prem HRK showed just how much he was one of our best players. You rarely see a winger with such power and strength

10 Jun 2013 19:17:03
Yeovil manager Gary Johnson stated in a local interview, that in order to maintain the players that he is looking to bring in, Yeovil will need to have sell outs every week! 1 name mentioned was seth nana ofori twumasi but also one that fits the budget plee is Charlton's Bradley Wright-Phillips and Brentford's Harry Forrester, both who would come either as frees or relatively cheap, but who would command high wages, Johnson also stated that their would be a 'Gary's Gamble' in their brought from the lower leagues; mentioned has been Cheltenham's Marlon Pack and ex Bristol Rovers' JJ O Toole. You heard it here first!

10 Jun 2013 20:48:35
What a cracking re hash of last week's local paper, mixed in with some really poor rumours, most of which have already been discredited by the club. Try harder.

Don't need or want those players already got better ones

I like the way he says 'stated in a local interview' then 'you heard it here first'

If Harlee leaves Brentford he'll have his sights set much higher than those 3 clubs

O'toole cut it in league 2 but couldn't even make the first XI at Colchester last season even though they were struggling to stay up. Rovers can keep O'toole!

10 Jun 2013 19:14:14
Oxford are announcing 3 signings shortly. Expected to be David Hunt, Callum Kennedy and Rene Howe.

Oxford are also front runners in the battle for Matt Tubbs. Although Oxford can only afford him on a season loan, Bournemouth would like to sell him.

Would be good if true. Would love to see all of them at oxford

Rene Howe Has Concluded Talks With Southend And Will Sign For Us Within The Coming Weeks.

So No, Its Not All True

12 Jun 2013 19:29:06
why wait weeks to sign unless he's waiting for better offers to come

Everything you have said on here hasn't turned out to be true yet RM Sharks.
Thought Clohessy was def staying with you too. As he said it in the press. He never said it at all.

10 Jun 2013 16:30:43
Joseph Thompson will rejoin former boss Keith Hill at Rochdale. Also Keith is in an advanced stage of tying up a season long loan deal with a young defender from Barnsley.

Why would Barnsley what to loan Hill any players after what state he left the club in

10 Jun 2013 16:24:43
Expect Keith hill to offer Damian mozika a pay as you play deal at spotland

10 Jun 2013 19:00:52
Crawley are to complete the signings of David Worrall from Bury for an undisclosed fee and Matt Tubbs on loan from Bournemouth.

They obviously didn't feel the need to deny such a ridiculous rumour.

Hope 1of them can be converted to a right back since with David Hunt leaving this evening Crawley have no recognised right back on their books.

Worrall will not leave bury because bury will only accept a high offer from Crawley and Crawley don't have tha t sort of money

11 Jun 2013 14:22:58
I think you will find we are one of the only clubs in the whole football league that are very stable financially and own no money try and think about that next season when you r in league 2

"Own no money" you said it!

Lmao that made laugh iam crawley fan its oki saying we have no debt but we can't even fill are 5,000 stadium up without giving away free tickets how we going to pay for all these wages?

Excellent point but then again you have cash rich investors who can pay these so called super stars of league 1.

Richie will find it tough going next season when second season syndrone kicks in.

Not anymore we dont! Ever wonder why there were no big money signings last season?!

What about muzzy dumbuya then!

Muzzie was a free transfer for a short term, no fee involved, and he fitted in the wage cap structure.

10 Jun 2013 18:37:35
Peterborough United, Yeovil Town, Bradford City and Portsmouth are interested in signing Alex Pritchard of Tottenham Hotspur on loan.

Lol won't go to any

At Posh last season, would be nice to see him back again.

11 Jun 2013 07:21:51
Pompey will have Holmes instead

Well posh chairman already said we want him back, and tbh he's not going to be first team at spurs yet.

He was good at Posh, would be great if we could have him permanently but I'm guessing he'd be too expensive. I'll settle with loan for now.

Did well for Posh Last couple of season would love to see him back, but I reckon he will probably be loaned out to a championship club

11 Jun 2013 20:35:13
Any thoughts on Holmes barnet and Chelmsford fans

10 Jun 2013 18:35:30
Walsall are to make a move for recently released goalkeeper Christopher Dilo. The young Frenchman, 18 was released by Blackburn at the end of the season.

10 Jun 2013 18:34:34
Ryan Burge signing for Donny on a 2 year deal so I'm told hope this is true a good player and wasn't given chance last time he was with us

10 Jun 2013 18:24:36
Will Grigg is mulling over a contract offer from West Brom. This rumour has been circulating round Walsall fans for a couple of days now.

We aren't close to anyone so this isn't true. Clarke has said we aren't close to anyone.

Mulling over it? I'm
A Walsall fan and I doubt he would mull over a contract from a prem club. What a load of tosh

We have an interest in him however a deal is not yet close

Ever thought that Clarke might have said that, to reduce the competition for players from other teams now and get in early

10 Jun 2013 18:16:33
Tranmere to definatly sign Gareth Roberts on a 2 year contract! I spoke to Roberts myself and another familer face will also be signing but he wouldn't say who.

Iain Hume is who he means

Jason koumas

Lol, ian huime as if we could afford his wages,

Whos ian huime?

So I take it you know what he earns and how much tranmere are prepared to pay him do you?

10 Jun 2013 18:05:38
There is a rumour about the Belgian Porto midfielder Steven Defour coming to Norwich. He would cost 8m Euros though.

Clearly Hughton is looking to dip into the European market this summer. Links with players such as Capel, Castaignos and Defour. All good for NCFC!

^ you are about 6 weeks behind everyone else mate. must of been on this site alone about 10 times.

10 Jun 2013 17:46:14
Hey Ed, can you give me some insight in Monaco's transfer plans. {Ed003's Note - try the euro soccer page mate.}

10 Jun 2013 17:40:39
Bournemouth, Millwall and Charlton are all in for highly rated Brentford defender harlee dean

QPR have joined the race to sign harlee dean from brentford and expect to add harry forrester aswell.

New 2 year contract at the Bees

10 Jun 2013 17:36:19
Ollie Norwood linked with Burnley for 650k, after speaking with agent he's apparently keen on the move with Chris McCann on the verge of going to Huddersfield

This is going to happen, I know ollies family (parents). i'm not sure of mccann going to huddersfield but ollie will be going to burnley.

Not happening, no chance at all trippier to hull and Burnley to get John eustace has a real chance of going through in the next week or so

This is an interesting one with Burnley being his home town club and he had an unsettled first season at town. As a town fan myself I would be sad to see him go, has some real potential and can only get better, very creative young midfielder!

Or Blackburn Rovers :/

McCann not going to Huddersfield. If he'd wanted to play for an average to below average Championship team he'd have just stayed put with us. He'll wait for something 'bigger' even if it means less playing time or starting further down the pecking order at that club.

11 Jun 2013 08:02:13
Burnley are a slightly above average Champ club - they finished 11th out of 24 last season.

Ollies not going anyway. seen him out in San Antonio on a stag do and he told me he is looking forward to the season with Huddersfield.

Or Leeds

Huddersfield can probably offer him the wages he wants, pretty sure wages were why norwood went to town last year when he was linked with burnley

I know ollie personally, and I can guarantee he is not going to Burnley. He is happy at Huddersfield Town, felt he didn't show his true potential last season, and wants to show what he can do this year. Feels it has been quite a learning curve over the past two seasons playing regular league football, but is now accustomed to it and wants to push on and prove himself

Norwood won't be going anywhere. However it wouldn't be a great loss if he did. Was garbage for most of last season and we've got Clayton Gober and Southern anyway

11 Jun 2013 14:14:17
-what about james vaughn

Why would you be writing on this site if you were close friends with norwood. as bad as the bloke who claimed he spoke to pato at his wedding about transfers.

Because someone knows Norwood they can't post on this site, hows that then?, doesn't say close friends just that they know him.

10 Jun 2013 17:35:49
Defender Phil Edwards is set to Return to Stevenage after turning down a contract at Rochdale

Cant see him coming back didn't impress last time he was at stevenage

10 Jun 2013 17:33:21
chesterfield are set to offer ex port vale man Ashley Vincent a 1 year contract with the option to sign an extension towards the end! he can play on either wing or as a centre forward. exciting player and great news for cfc

Good luck, he's rubbish, only plays for money, was shocking after christmas for port vale last season.

Like a lot of Division 2 players - brilliant on his day - just not often enough to be higher up the Leagues. As a Vale fan, I'd say he could link up well with Rico, but he faded badly in second half of the season, after an injury. Still, good luck Ashley - "He's better than Rigg", song of the season!

Terrible in the second half of the season and turned down vales offer of a new contract because he wanted more money! Far better players out there. Greedy cashly!

10 Jun 2013 17:31:54
Ipswich looking at Mark Yeates of Watford and DJ Campbell of QPR who have both been released Yeates was enquired about in january where DJ had a successful loan spell at Portman Rd scoring 10 in 17 games.

10 Jun 2013 17:31:33
Oxford will sign Crawley Defender David Hunt today or tomorrow, reports local media

Very true, all over tv radio Oxford, will be a good addition to the U'S squad.

10 Jun 2013 17:26:26
Alan Gow was at Valley Parade today. Parkinson admired his performances last season. Under contract for 1 more year at Exeter but may add goals from Midfield that we need.

Not a chance of this happening.

10 Jun 2013 21:26:07
Joining Gillingham

10 Jun 2013 16:44:13
Hi Ed any truth in the Harry forrester to ipswich rumours? {Ed003's Note - been speculation for a while now mate,which club gets him I'm not sure,sorrry.}

10 Jun 2013 17:18:24
Rotherham want to add 2 wingers to their side and have held talks with Jacques Maghoma (burton), Rob Milsom (aberdeen), Matt Lund (released by Stoke) and Courtney Cameron (released by aston villa).
Evans is also still wanting to add extra firepower so is still looking at past targets Rory Donnelly (Swansea) and David Goodwillie (Blackburn) who both came close to joining the millers on loan earlier this season. He's also interested in Dani Lopez (Stevenage), Lyle Taylor (Falkirk) and Simon Church (released by Reading).

Maghoma has signed for Middlesbrough

10 Jun 2013 17:09:37
The Matt Tubbs saga has finally come to an end as he has agreed terms with old club Crawley Town for a reported 300k + add ons. He snubbed Rotherham (geographical reasons) and Oxford (doesn't want to play in league 2) to sign for Richie Barkers side. Before any Bournemouth fans say they won't sell for 300k because they paid 800k for him, 800k was including all potential add ons and considering he struggled to break into the side and didn't score many goals, you didn't actually pay anywhere near that amount.

10 Jun 2013 20:02:14
I'm glad for him if true felt sorry for him here at bournemouth I don't think he had a fair chance

We paid 500k in total which only 400 k has been paid due the appearance clause and promotion to championship

10 Jun 2013 17:09:08
Tom Soares has agreed a 2 year contract at Rochdale.

Rochdale are also keen on a swap deal for Burys Andy Bishop with a deal for a 17 year old starlet

Wait, so Rochdale are willing to swap an up-and-coming talent for a striker with known injury problems who's not even been that prolific the past few seasons? Pull the other one.

If it has been agreed why has it still not been announced a day later?

Because the rumour is false and the poster can't back it up with fact.

10 Jun 2013 17:02:50
I saw billy sharp in Derby with jamie ward. Watch this space!

I call that adding 2 and 2 together and coming up with 5. There best mates.

They are best friends

They are best mates as ward donates a lot to billy sharps charity

Why would we be signing Sharp, we've just signed Johnny Russell

Doesn't mean anything?

We've got our striker. move on

After signing Russell, this highly unlikely (although it was anyway) as much as I would love Sharp, don't see us stumping up a fee to but another forward

They are really good mates. They went on holiday together and also went to Vegas together.

Don't look into it. Derby have ruled themselves out of billy sharp through CEO Sam rush.

Same as above mates.

10 Jun 2013 17:02:29
Johnny Russell has signed for Derby on a four year deal for an undisclosed fee.

10 Jun 2013 16:00:11
Cheltenham defender Harry Hooman has signed for Inverness, along with ex-Cheltenham and Hereford midfielder Marley Watkins.
Both players were out of contract and agreed 2 year deals with the Scottish club.

Both very average players while at Cheltenham, so it's surprising to see them move to a club close to competing in Europe. Good luck to them

I think that's a tad harsh - Hooman looked solid when he got a run in the first team and Marley Watkins was one of the few exciting players during the Allen era.

Hooman was play of the month last August, played well until he made 2 mistakes at Accrington.
Shame to see him go, think he will be back in the Football League soon.

Harry Hooman was a player of the month in the early part of 2012/13 season at Cheltenham where he seemed to be taking his big chance, then had a couple of dodgy games & never got another look in which was a pity as the lad had promise. Hopefully he will thrive again under big Terry Butcher who will be a great mentor for Harry's CB role. He will come good again, wait & see.

Once a player makes a few mistakes Yates drops them like a stone and never gives them a chance again.

10 Jun 2013 15:41:34
If margin emnes is sold to Bolton for £2m + ream, Middlesbrough will then use the funds to purchase Albert adomah for £1m and then leigh griffiths for £800k

Would be great, leigh griffiths is supposed to be good talent aswell but we need to get rid of a few players first though, especially emnes!

Boro will not be getting any of the player named we have no cash and player that do cum will be free and from over seas and we will not see any action till 2nd week in jan boro fan some need to wake up on the posts.

Well that's strange as Mowbray has said that all of the new players he wants to come in should be available for the Bordeaux game at the end of July except for the premiership loan players so I think you will find you are wrong there.

Adomah is from bristol and griffiths is from hibs. no one is from over seas and Mogga has freed up a load of cash by losing nine players off the wage bill already. read the text, it says if we get two million for emnes this is how the money will be spent. seems plausible and both players would fit in well with our team

Griffiths is a wolves player and they have just extended is contract for another year he was on loan at hibs

You won't get £2 million for Emnes from Bolton, one he's not worth that much and secondly Bolton are haggling over a fee believed to be around £1 million for Beckford and Dougie is also believed to losing interest in Emnes

Emnes is worth 3.5m, ream is only worth 1m, so sounds like the price has already been haggled. Emnes would be a good signing for Bolton, he has the pace on his side

Leicester have bid 450k for Brentford centre back Harlee Dean.

Harlee is off to QPR along with Forrester

No way are they off to QPR, brentfords rivals. Dean will stay, but forrester will go. He's not that good anyway

Johnny Russell signs four-year deal with Derby County

10 Jun 2013 16:48:25
Aston Villa will this week announce the signings of both Gary Hooper and Hal Robson-Kanu. They will also be announcing the departures of Darren Bent and Shay Given to Fulham and Hull respectively.

Fulham can't afford Bent until they sell Berbatov. Villa don't want another bench boy in Hooper & we don't need or want Robson-Kanu.

Of course Fulham can afford Bent!

Fulham can afford Bent. Jol is just thinking are there any better options to have with Berba up front.

Sell Berba? Looooool, don't believe the press, Al Fayed paid off all our debt and turned it to equity. Bent will sign for us, him & Pieters of PSV ( a LB) in talks as is Toivonen. We have about 26 m still to spend. Not in debt and free to spend.

We don't have 26mil that's for sure. Wish we did but no. Jol was told he couldn't break the transfer budget with a £15mil bid for Thiago from Barcelona. I think we have about 10 or 12.

We can afford bent but not sure he is best option not been that good at villa.

10 Jun 2013 16:42:00
Russell has signed at last

Why would he want a relagation battle in league2 when he could play championship football

10 Jun 2013 16:13:08
Brightons suspension of Tarricco has been lifted.
Poyet and Oatway still suspended with no further information given.

Source: Official site

When Brighton played Newcastle Poyet said "i could manage Newcastle one day", when we played Leeds away he said the same thing. The club and I believe the Chairman has been getting tired of Gus' tantrums out of the public eye, I was told Tarrico would be exhonerated and he has been, I was told Poyet and Oatway will be out by the end of next week, I have no reason to disbelieve this. I understand lots of things are going on behind the scenes, players and possibly a new manager so Brighton fans don't worry, trust in Mr Bloom, he is not one for making bad decisions, I can't think of one he has made. Poyet has lost the majority of the fans, this was a person who stood by Suarez. He needs to move on, Wigan fans be warned you will be nothing more than a doormat for Gus, he is not like Martinez he comes with baggage, Mr Whelan would be better to go for somebody else, not sour grapes, just a warning. As Gus said after the Palace game, " I have to think about me. contracts mean nothing" you don't deserve this.

Hopefully now Tarricco's back he'll be in charge for a while and get some decent players in.

10 Jun 2013 16:06:48
right news I told you about 2 weeks ago about Yohan Mollo was talking to Norwich today been told 2 other clubs are after him. he has talk to the other clubs & will make his mind up in the next few weeks. 2 of the clubs have oftered 6-5 mill & the other has bid 6-1 mill

10 Jun 2013 16:35:59
Russell to Derby Finally Confirmed - fee will be Undisclosed but I imagine it'll be around the 700,000 to 750,000 mentioned by many!

10 Jun 2013 16:35:58

Wayne Rooney failed a medical at newcastle today, as there was no French blood in him

10 Jun 2013 15:25:01
Matt Taylor has held talks with Oldham Athletic. The 31 year old centre back was released by Charlton at the end of the 2012/13 season.

He used to be a goalkeeper so might prove useful on the bench.

That last comment is the most stupid I have ever heard! Teams in league one should be desperate for a player of Matt Taylors quality and is not one to sit on the bench because he played in goal some 8 years ago! Especially seen as it is oldham (not meaning that nastily) but he is as solid as you get in league uno!

I think it was a bit 'tongue in cheek' mate.
Or atleast I hope so. There are a few head the balls about.

10 Jun 2013 14:42:38
Bournemouth will sign James hayter on a one year deal with the option of a second the deal will be completed as soon as frank demouge and shwan jalal complete their moves away from the goldsands

Doubt it. If we're after Ings and Austin.

Bournemouth would have to pay for hayter as he is still under contract and I doubt they would sign someone of his age
DevonGreen

10 Jun 2013 14:29:21
Fleetwood have joined the race to sign non league's hottest property Antoni Sarcevic from Chester.

10 Jun 2013 14:13:47
Luke james has been in Shrewsbury to complete his move to shropshire - also leon clarke and matt tubbs moves are edging closer as coventry are in desperate need for cash and tubbs is not in the first team plans at bouremouth.

Luke James still plays for hartlepool

Matt Tubbs - interesting; would cost too much though - unlikely to spend more than 100k

Clarke is under contract so it will take more than I think you'd be willing to pay for him

60k plus instalments mentioned for clarke

60k plus instalments? I think the number buttons are broken on your Nokia 8310 mate.

It's not like you won't get any thing more than that anyway

Town have signed winfield

60k for clarke you having a laugh, we would want atleast 500k as the bare minimum

Not likley town in the market for tubbs or clarke unless roland has won the lottery?
luke james more likley as we seem to only be able to afford cheap gamble type players!

If we are to stay & progress in league 1 then we are going to have to buy decent players. At the moment we have only one forward on the books, no wonder we are favourites to finish bottom of league 1 next season. we have a very thredbare squad at the moment.

Hope 2010

Graham Turner is recently reported as saying 'At the moment we’re not talking to anybody with a view to a fee' which suggests all three names in the OP are unlikely.

10 Jun 2013 15:17:32
Wade elloit has rejected a new one year deal with option of second with Birmingham in favour of joining south coast club afc bournemouth he will be eddie howe's first comfirmed player for their return to the championship since the late 80s

Eddie Howe sold Wade Elliott at Burnley because he didn't get on with him. Why would he sign him at Bournemouth?

Elliot would be good championship experience we need in the centre of midfield good attacking minded with skills to match

We've got wade Elliot (again) he's f. ing brilliant

I can just hear it again, "We've got Wade Elliott, he's f**king brilliant"

Excellent news just need Brian stock to be comfirmed and the defender from Celtic and a big name striker and were sorted up the cherries

11 Jun 2013 08:07:16
Elliott is 35 and injury-prone Stock can only play 60 minutes.

Wade Elliot played 40 games nine goals not bad for a centre midfield

10 Jun 2013 15:06:21
Jaime Paterson will be in Huddersfield for contract talks on Wednesday (12th of June) after a fee was agreed early last week. The teams were waiting for Paterson to return from holiday which he now has.

Well we've got to sign somebody before Friday. We still have no strike force.

Why before Friday? do we have a game on Saturday? we all know it will be left till nearly the season start or even after, before any signings, so we don't have to pay someone a wage over summer weeks! we may even do a spain and play without strikers first game or 2, as we possess none!

Most players are still on their jollies, probably won't see the transfer market hot up fpr another week

10 Jun 2013 14:57:24
preston have agreed deals for Declan rudd on loan for the season also stuckmann as agreed a new 2 year contract, now Grayson will look to had a striker and maybe another midfielder or centre half {Ed015's Note - Surely any deal will not be concluded until Rudd returns from Israel}

Rudd has agreed everything in principle.

10 Jun 2013 16:28:23
the deal for rudd is to be signed when he returns from England duty forgot to put that ed

Ed, the rudd deal's been reported as agreed in principal for him to sign when he gets back.

We have agreed a deal in principal with Norwich to sign Rudd, no contract negotiations as of yet, it was in the LEP

10 Jun 2013 14:30:15

1. David Worrall- to be announced this week
2. John Bostock- Free Transfer
3. Matt Tubbs- Season Long Loan
4. Right Back not known who yet.

Bostock will not be signing for Crawley.

Bostock has been seen in Swindon, looks like he is returning permanently.

11 Jun 2013 19:30:25
Bostock not signing for Swindon he has already said he won't be joining them. He is coming to crawley look at local media

11 Jun 2013 19:32:33

What tv news was this on, or have you got confused with your FIFA 13 news

10 Jun 2013 14:22:19
Arsenal will bid for Celtic's Victor Wanyama, with Manchester United also interested. Moyes did not have the funds to buy him at Everton

Fellaini better option with Fabregas for united

10 Jun 2013 14:10:55
goodwillie is away to try and push through the deal to dundee utd when he returns from his holiday, he sees the move as the best for his career to get back on track and is willing to take a drop in wages to make it happen

10 Jun 2013 14:06:07
Oldham are in battle with Bradford City for Rochdale midfielder Jason Kennedy. The out of contract midfielder has said he wishes to move to a league one club, with Oldham in contention to get the midfielders signature in the next week or two.

Hibs also said to be interested

Could be possible with Dean Furman's contract now ending and little chance he will stay at Oldham.

Don;t need Furman after he left his teammates in a relegation battle, poor captain and we did better without him.

Just love all these rumours and by the way one signing by the end of the week.

You reckon you know it all about Latics then name the player and he's not one that's been name don here either.

Who is the signing then!!

According to the Chron it's a winger from Holland, Sidney Schmeltz.

Sidney Shmeltz, dutch winger.

He's signed today on a 2yr deal a DUTCH player called Sidney Schelmtz, see you would never have guessed that name would you or player.

So stop putting any names up that we are signing as you really do know nothing about who LJ will sign.

Sidney Schmeltz free agent from Holland. Pacy Right winger direct replacement for Lee Croft.

''pacey winger'', ''direct replacement for Croft''? Only me that see's the irony there? ;-)

10 Jun 2013 13:50:53
Tom Ince I talks with Cardiff City. Guaranteed first team football which his father has said is a key factor in the decision. Blackpool asking £5.5 million. Soloman Kalou also in talks with Cardiff. Both Don Cowie and Tommy Smith are expected to leave the club with interest shown by several Championship sides.

Ince isn't even in the country.

He's playing for England Under 21's in Isreal.

And Blackpool knoked back a bid of £7m from Liverpool so your £5.5m looks a little "short. "

Just like your time in the prem will be!

10 Jun 2013 17:45:24
well this is not true as asking price is 10 mil and reading had 8 million rejected

Rubbish. Reading bid £8M and were knocked back. It'll take more then £10M to get him.

He's worth more than £5.5 mil. Paul ince said he should go for big money seen as Zaha went for £15 mil.

Brilliant - you think Oyston will let him go for £5.5m?
You've missed the 1 between the £ and the 5.

These are the kind of players we need to do well in the prem imo.

Hope this is true two very good signings and two players who are good players but don't think they could cut it in the prem good decision for them to leave

You must be a Jack or a Ten year old

But surely he's gone into the last year of his contract so his value would be closer to 5.5 million than 10. e. g. RVP going for 24 million due to only having a year left when he is probably worth a lot more otherwise.

On Tom Ince, the others are right, no way Paul Ince or Karl Oyston would let him go that cheap, esp given Liverpool have a 35% sell On clause.

In terms of Blackpool signings I'd snap your hand off for Don Cowie! Class in the championship.
whether we'd pay his wages is another thing entirely.

Could be dicko

Dicko is a sub player at best

Cowie would be a good signing for you. How about we swap him for Ince (the junior version I hasten to add) As to the earlier poster I don't recall Maximus's boys hanging around too long in the Prem. either.

Redbird

Difference is RVP is not under 24. Even if Ince leaves next season for free, we will still get compensation.

There is no sell on clause for Ince to Liverpool.
FACTAMUNDO

Once you said FACTAMUNDO I believe you 100%

But unfortunatley there is a well know and well reported 35% seel on clause to liverpool. so that's FACTAMUNDO

Correct ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Aston Villa had a 9m bid rejected so 5.5m isn't going to let him go.

10 Jun 2013 13:50:44
Bristol City interested in right midfield youngster Samuel Bangura who was released by Chelsea.

10 Jun 2013 13:43:08
Gary Hooper to join Aston Villa

We don't want him. We have no need for another bench boy!

10 Jun 2013 13:37:33
leeds utd have signed matt smith from oldham on a 2 year deal.

He'll be back in the lower leagues in 2 years. 14 goals in 75 appearances. Unlucky Leeds. Had the game of his life against Liverpool and everything thought he was world class. Well I saw him nearly every week, and I am not disappointed in the slightest to see him leave

Goin to be a great target man the first since Mark Viduka left.

Thought this was a rumour site? {Ed003's Note - Well this post is a conclusion to a rumour Mr smarty pants}

You are not sad to him go, just bitter

As an Oldham fan I would if liked see one more season from him

Go to any Latics fan forum and ask them if they are bitter mate. Far from it

Lol really don't think any Oldham fans are bitter to see him go, true we didn't see enough of him because he was on the bench most games for dickov, and last season he was at Macclesfield and only scored one goal. fact is he is out of he's league, riding on the success of the cup and the end of the season performaces, coming next season he will be draining leeds recourses sat on the bench like he did for us this season

No, we're just being honest. I'll second everything the previous poster wrote. Non league two seasons ago, nothing in league one until cup exploits and a few goals in league after that. Never got a look in when Derbyshire was at Latics. He'll struggle in champ. Fact. Wish him all the best as he earnt us over a mil. Gaffers

Cheers for the memories Smity. Just hope that he doesn't come back to haunt us when he goes on loan to a L1 side at some point this season!

Ex Motherwell defender Steven Saunders to Partick Thistle.

10 Jun 2013 12:42:33
I have it on good authority that Jason steel is signing for Sunderland as a replacement for mignolet if he joins Liverpool to reolace reina. The deal will involve Lee cattermole returning to boro as Di canio does not see cattermole in his plans.

I was thinking this could be true until the bit about cattermole, boro would never, ever take him back

I hope this isn't true. Now if Danny Graham wes involved then maybe. But a big NO to Cattermole

Although I hope if Migs does go that we get Steele, he has had two great seasons for middlesborough and was voted their player and young player of the year this season, only 22 aswell

10 Jun 2013 12:19:06
Walsall close to agreeing a 24 month deal with Richard Peniket following his release from Fulham. The striker played under Saddlers number two Richard O'kelly when he was Hereford boss.

Saddlers also keen on Chris Holroyd and Liam Brownhill.

Richard Peniket seems likely as he joined Fulham from our Youth academy

Has potential although I'm not sure his head was all there. Though a fresh start could be just what he needs to kick on. Best of luck to him.

10 Jun 2013 11:36:24
Josh Gillies to sign this week for Carlisle United

Hope you are right.

10 Jun 2013 13:22:50
Le Fondre interest by Leeds dropped as main target ex Oldham and free agent Matt Smith signs.

Leeds have got no money to spend.

They're two completely different type of strikers. Why would signing one mean the end of their interest in the other? Either they're still interested in Le Fondrr or, more likely, they never were because they have no money.

I wouldn't exactly believe that as they are completely different types of striker, in "fact" you would want to sign LeFondre more so now, as both would compliment each other.

He was compared to kitson not le fondre and he probably proof all you oldham fans wrong its just you can't get the best out of your players

He'll be on loan to a L1 team at some point this season.

10 Jun 2013 12:41:26
Jamie Vardy is linked with a move to Doncaster.

Scores goals

We are linked to everyone at the moment how about we see some results for a change?! all this gossip with out results will again make us a laughing stock. I WANT TO STAY INTHE CHAMPOINSHIP NEXT SEASON, and Mr dickov needs to bums on seats otherwise we will go straight back down, I am so fed up of playing second best to all local rivals, we don't want another situation like we had the season before last do we!! we deserve more as fans.

Exactly why I'm not getting a season ticket as a fan I'm not happy with how things are going, and yes the arses will bring up we were promoted blah blah but end of the day the club don't move for key players loose them and have to scrape what's left I pay my money to the club it's a business at the end of the day and as a customer before a fan I don't have t give them my money

If you want more players and better players, then put money into the club, encourage friends to buy tickets/season tickets. where do you think the money comes from!

'exactly why i'm not buying a season ticket' - sounds a familiar post - boring.

Where do you expect the money to come from? We'll have the 2nd lowest budget, only lessened by Yeovil, in the Championship I dare bet. What do you expect? You can't just think because we were promoted that Ronaldo and Messi are going to sign. We're investing heavily behind the scenes on infrastructure such as, U21 Development Squad (Reserves) and money into the academy. So just think about it, and support your team rather than acting the goat.

Don't give me that, the board members have plenty of money they choose not to invest, why should I have to stump up the money for the club? You can't expect the fans to pay for everything

You clearly do not listen or read. if the Board had not put money into the club we would have run a deficit budget of several million each year for the past 10 years. They may all have loads of money, but they do not have to spend all of it on Donny Rovers, they do choose to spend a substabntial amount on their club. The club also have to obey the new financial regualtions, which we do. Do you really want to make the club more like Portsmouth. get of your ****, get more people in to support and stop treating it as a business that you pay for. be a fan and support th club, not a moaner. RTID

10 Jun 2013 12:41:04
Paul Lambert is set to make Hal Robson-Kanu is second signing of the season after a 1.2 millions bid was accepted. Personally I think he is a great player with bags of pace and ability and only 24 so fit paul Lambert ethos perfectly.

10 Jun 2013 13:02:29
Amine Linganzi to sign a 2 year deal with Gillingham. Done deal.

I don't remember him playing against us but apparently he is good?

Nuts. A player that has played 18 games in 4 seasons. Andy Drury was available, proven Championship player and is now heading to Crawley. Baffling

10 Jun 2013 12:51:40
Leeds united have signed matt smith from Oldham who is out of contract in July. Signed a 2 year deal!

So out of time he was leaving in march when his agent told our club. Will do well as a bench warmer as now he will meet far better defenders who won;t be bullied.

LIverpool and Everton under estimated him.

I am not saying Smith is a world beater by any stretch of the imagination, but I am sure he will not come up against better defenders than Skirtle, Coates, Jagielka or Distan in the championship, So I for 1 am looking forward to seeing how he does.

Skirtle and Coates are first choice for LIverpool by the way and as for the Everton game our goalie did do a nice foul first and second game he jumped all over Distin.

He really isn;t as good as he;s been made out to be 8 league goals in 2 seasons says it all.

He can be bullied out of a game ask Harry Mcguire of sheff utd bossed him all game, so Smith isn;t that good.

Alot of football fans that say smith isn't good enough don't seem to know that he played cb a lot of the time for oldham

A lot of football fans that think Smith spent a lot of time playing as a centre back are trying to justify his terrible goalscoring record. Helping to defend a corner does not make him a centre back.

'A lot of football fans that say smith isn't good enough don't seem to know that he played cb a lot of the time for oldham'

Are you Matt Smith?

Im not even a oldham fan and I know that smith played has a defender most of the time just get over it he's joined leeds

We're not disputing the fact that he has joined Leeds. Just get your facts right, he didn't spend most of his time playing in defence. His goalscoring record was simply woeful.

To see your a oldham fan you don't seem to know a lot about matt smith do you says it all really

Call me crazy, but how about we just give the lad a chance?
Even if we aren't expecting wonders from the lad, why don't we let his performance in a Leeds shirt decide if he's a good signing?

10 Jun 2013 12:43:16
Charlie Austin will join Sunderland for 8 million.

10 Jun 2013 14:29:22
doubt it he's said quite openly that he was want's to move nearer to the south, more likely to head to bournemouth despite the difference in league position

Could be a good move for Charlie, and possibly for Burnley if the penny pinching board of directors allow a high percentage of the fee for investment in new players.

However I rather doubt that being the case.

10 Jun 2013 15:10:09
Hope this is true - I am a Burnley fan and £8 million would be too good to be true.

He has never said he wants to move closer south

Middlesbrough are interested in Bolton defender Tim Ream.

10 Jun 2013 13:52:33
Middlesbrough need as many defenders they can get judging by the way they collapsed last season.

Mills and Ream to go in one summer, I knew Dougie Freedman was alright but I didn't know he was a miracle worker.

Tim Ream's agent has dismissed speculation linking the Bolton defender with a summer move to Middlesbrough.

Newspaper reports on Monday suggested Wanderers' Championship rivals were ready to lodge a bid for the United States international, who was restricted to just 17 games last season and only 32 since signing from New York Red Bull in January 2012.

Patrick McCabe, the agent who represents Ream, says there is nothing in the reports and his client is looking forward to a fresh start when pre-season training begins next month.

"There is nothing to report here, " McCabe told MLSsoccer. com.

"Tim is away on holiday at the moment. He is settled at Bolton and looking forward to the pre-season. "

Yeah it's not up to ream whether Bolton want to sell him or not, and agents are told to say things like that so that boro pay more to get him away from the club

10 Jun 2013 10:54:40
Rotherham will finalise the deals for goodwille and Calvin Zola this week and also Jennings former tranmere winger

10 Jun 2013 15:12:23
Wow, that's over £20k per week in wages there!
Odd Goodwillie and Jennings would go to Rotherham when they both have Championship clubs after them.

None of these are going to happen. I am not saying who I am and how I know but trust me, these are not the players we are looking at.

Watch out for a striker, Championship, dropping to League One to play for the MILLERS.

No nothing of Jennings, hope other two happen though.

Lets hope so Goodwillie is already good but tailed off with Blackburn but can be as good as he was before and even better, another Le Fondre.
Zola did well last season and had a great goal against Bradford in the play offs.
Jennings wasnt bad before and if Bayern Munich saw something in him then he can't be bad.

Jenno far to good for Rotherham or are division come to think of it. He will go to a championship club at least and be in an England squad soon

10 Jun 2013 18:01:21
matty tubbs he is a quality player ud do well to get him i'm a afcb fan

Yea that nobody else wants,, lol

It is not a Forest player!

Is he a local?

10 Jun 2013 11:27:34
Oldham boss Lee Johnson is close to finalising a season-long loan deal for young Derby County prospect Josh Lelan.

Is he doing this whilst on holiday in Dubai??

Good needs games in the lower leagues. Class act for 18 you guys will see. Most important thing is he will be able to handle the physical side no doubt.

Got too many kids as it is, we need decent professionals

How is Lee Johnson doing by the way, is he a decent management prospect.

Too many lightweights was the problem last season.

10 Jun 2013 11:15:59
Middlesbrough strongly linked with a player plus cash swap involving Marvin Emnes and Boltons Tim Ream. Boro to net £2m and gain the American center half.

I hope this rumour is true as selling emnes could prove difficult otherwise!

Don't like that, ream only worth 1m and emnes will find form next season, like he did 2 seasons ago, when he was our top scorer

That would be a great deal

Boro will not offer 2m due to Mowbray not having money to spend and all the money will be wasted on him

Emnes has been at Boro 4 yrs+ and has only found his form for 6 months of it. Get rid if there is money on offer

I was unsure of us getting Ream as part of the deal but I knew Freedman had inquired about emnes' availability.
Mowbray desperate to offload either emnes or Mcdonald. paving the way to finalising the deal with marc anione-fortune on a free. -

The deal will likely be for Wheater as he is the CB really want and need.

Your right, Mowbray will NOT offer £2m he will receive £2m. read the original post!

10 Jun 2013 11:06:51
Bury will sign Dani Lopez.

He doesn't want to relocate up north. sorry.

Now there might be some mileage in this rumour.

I expect KB was impressed by his performance against us towards the end of last season when he was ineffective against an already relegated team.

Charltons young and promising star Callum Harriet set to sign for Arsenal in 2014 for an undisclosed fee

Really don't want him to go. You will never hear of him again if he does. What is better, he plays negular first team at charlton or never making the reserves at arsenal. He has a bright future with us.

I don't think he will go in 2014 as he has signed a 3 year deal with us.

Defiantly my favourite player and I don't want him to go!!

Nope, he just signed a new contract last month, I think it was for 3 years.

There is no way you can say that!

More chance of fergie taking over at city

From connection at millwall. Ipswich have made enquiry for liam trotter.

Have him for the right price

What again??

I hope this is true

Whats gone wrong at the den for him? Used to be fans favourite

Ipswich? 1st Bolton, then QPR, Reading I'm surprised Leicester haven't come in for him.

No chance! Players never do well coming back, and he was no good in the first place.

If he goes your have to pay around 7mil mark on his day he's one of best mid fielders in the league.

Won't go for less than a million and with Dicker and Pack on frees and Ipswich short on cash this WILL NOT HAPPEN!

If he stays Lomas will get a tune out of him i'm sure.

He used to be a fan Favorite because his is a class above. but he is lazy! and when the team is going through a ruff patch you need these players to step up and do the business! and he doesnt! he just gets lazier!

7 mill mark. ? how ridiculous to say he's worth that. out whole playing squad wouldn't sell for 7 million! i'd personally like to see trotter leave and if anyone offers 1. 5/2 mill we should snap it up!

Manchester United look set to complete the free transfer signing of highly-rated Monaco star Nampalys Mendy

Clearly well rated if one of the richest teams in football don't want to renew his contract.

Karl Robinson has returned from holiday early to discuss his future with chairman Pete Winkelman. Rumours of Michael Owen taking over as manager have been arisen with Owen wanting former Newcastle team mate and current Dons midfielder Alan Smith to take over as assistant. Smith is currently working on his badges.

Contrary to reports, Harford hasn't been sacked completely from the club and instead he will take over as head scout. The club will announce all decisions and statements in one press conference, hence why there is no official word from the club on Harford yet.

10 Jun 2013 10:33:03
worrall from bury will sign for crawley in next 3 days. 4 pages about this already on bury forum. adams on left worrall on right. exiting season ahead

This is the same player who was linked recently with a move to Bolton Wanderers.

Bury fc can't afford to risk losing a 50% sell on fee to WBA if they were to sell him to a small club like Crawley.

David Worrall had already stated that for family reasons he didn't want to join Richie's boys down at Crawley last season.

It's not going to happen. I presume the same source is reporting this story that had Schumacher already signed up for those minnows down in Sussex recently.

There is NO sale on clause with WBA. There was a clause if Bury sold Worral within two years from singing with Bury from WBA, then the clause would kick in.

He's been a Bury player since 8th Jan 2010. No clause to pay.

Hartlepool new boss Colin Cooper has spoken to Di Canio at Sunderland and a season long loan deal has been agreed in principal for Duncan Watmore who was Di Canio's first signing at Sunderland but he feels he needs some experience before he's ready for the first team there just yet. Other players discussed Paul Weldon, Wilson Kneeshaw (Middlesbrough) and Mehdi Abeid (Newcastle) further discussions will take place on all players once Cooper returns from his charity climb of Mount Kilimanjaro. Watmore is one of Cooper's main loan targets for the coming season.

Weldon has been released by boro, but they will probs sign him

stoke want celtic hitman gary hooper

10 Jun 2013 10:17:13
shelvey from liverpool to stoke is about 70%done

Would the other 30% be because he's in Isreal playing with England Under 21's?

No it ain't

Liverpool have put 8m price tag on him so I crnt see this happening anytime soon!

Can't see this happening, only on here and oatcake has this been mentioned with very dodgy sources. Nowhere else has this been reported with it being "70%" done.

Nowhere near done he's been in Israel and I don't want him for 8mil he is worth around 3mil

Oxford striker james constable is in talks with his former club Walsall over a move back to the bescot.

You got £350K then?

Yes we have got £350,000 but we won't pay that it will be around £125,000 if we really want him

10 jun 2013 14:19:07
if the right offer comes in let constable go if offer is over £150000 take it i think constable is overrated anyway changes needed up front and in midfield at oufc

You seriously think he's worth 350 k. I'm an oxford fan and know he's not worth that

Not even worth 350k so all the best with that one

Beano is going nowhere fact.

I know constable personally and no way on earth he's leaving oxford

125k won't get him though. We've turned that down enough times. Swindon and Bournemouth had a bid of 200k accepted. And he turned them both down. So can't see him even talking to Walsall like he rejected to talk to Swindon.

Yep! Constable isn't very good is he! After all he's only bee the club's leading scorer for the last five seasons. Very poor.

Walsall have the money, they still have big transfer budgets that were never reinvested from previous sales, however its whether he wants to leave Oxford or not.

He's not going anywhere. We could get an offer of 1 million for him but he's just going to reject every club that comes in for him. He's a yellow now, and so loyal to the club, even turning down over double pay to stay with us! The only way he'll leave is when his contract runs down and we don't renew

11 Jun 2013 16:05:20
We won't want him if westcarr signs up or we get Akinfenwa

Oxford would let him go for £200,000. FACT. What is also fact however is that he is incredibly settled in his home located in Royal Wotton Bassett, and is completely dedicated to Oxford. as seen when he turned down deals with both Swindon and Bournemouth, when he would have been on better money.

10 Jun 2013 10:01:54
Demba Ba is set to leave Chelsea just seven months after joining them, as Jose Mourinho would rather have Edison Cavani as the clubs main striker.

The toon should try and buy back

10 Jun 2013 09:59:36
Rumours about that we will have TWO new signings at Blackpool by the end of this week. Paul Ince been in negotiations all this weekend.

And what players are they?

10 Jun 2013 15:59:56
Hopefully we will wouldn't mind kevin davies

Goodwillie and mackenize

That's clever considering he has been away with the chairman since before weekend {Ed003's Note - They are back now.}

They do have the internet and Mobile Phones in Portugal, more then feasible they could have been working on potential deals while they were out there.

10 Jun 2013 09:54:59
Simon Grayson is set to involve Ian Hume in his plans for next season after being told by the clubs owner that he will cover his wages for the promotion push year

10 Jun 2013 18:56:29
humey is staying because no other club can afford his wages

10 Jun 2013 09:48:38
I'm hearing that Derek riordan could b offered a short term deal at motherwell

10 Jun 2013 08:32:27
Steve Lomas has the task of convincing millwall's James Henry to stay the den. As west ham has put in the bid of 1.4 mill.

Cant see it myself. Although a good player on his day, not really that committed & at times thinks he's better than he is.

Id take £1.4m all day long.

He won't be going anywhere for 1.4 million.

1.4 mill I think someones dreaming henry won't be sold inless its a offer club can't refuse as we don't need to sell him, henry won't go for any less that 7mil

I'm Millwall and you're deluded if you think we can get 7million for any of our players, we're not rolling in it, and players like Tom Ince only go for around 5 or 6m. Henry not good enough for the prem anyway. yet.

D. A.

If zaha is worth 15million i'm sure herny is worth 7, ince won't go for no less than ten, henrys our best player won't let him go inless silly money

It would be a miracle if we got 3 million for Henry let a lone 7. Cahill is 10 times the player Henry is and he went for 2 million or so. other clubs don't value our players like we do.

No your right. We under value our players. Cahill was sold far to cheap and he's not been the only one.

Millwall just do not get that sort of money for aplayer, we would be lucky to get it for Henry and Trotter combined let alone one of them.
Zaha went for so much due to being an England international, the crown jewel at Palarse, and the fact it is Manchester United that wanted him. Also more potential than Henry, unfortunately.

Henry can go for £1.4m, legend in his own underpants

10 Jun 2013 08:07:03
Morecambe have been taking a look at former loanee the speedy wing wizard Zac Aley.

Can't see that happening as he was rubbish when we last had him on loan from Blackburn.

Please no. Was a disaster last time and couldn't hack it at Southport so no chance in League 2.

Done deal.

Maybe just on trial in a few pre-season games, just to see if he can cut the mustard in the FL

10 Jun 2013 07:41:11
Oxford United set to complete a triple signing this week with the additions of Callum Kennedy, Stephen Darby and a former loanee midfielder

I don't think you will get Stephen Darby. Too good for league 2 imo. He'll stay with Bradford.

Not a chance of getting Darby mate. He'll be a permanent fixture in Bradford's defence for years to come. !

Oxford united are set to sign defender/ midfielder David Hunt following the termination of his contract by mutual consent at Crawley. This was announced on tv radio and the tv football website.

Signed the right back today. So won't even be looking at Darby. Even if he was available.

10 Jun 2013 07:31:57
Rochdale will this week tie up deals for Tom soares, Ryan Lowe and Richard cresswell, an all out assault on promotion under new gaffer Keith hill,

Soares expresses his desire to sign for bury so can not see him going to rochdale. Big fans favourite at bury and can't see mr day letting us down on this

10 Jun 2013 06:51:38
Anybody know who's been watching this 16 year old midfielder, Jack Thomas that's at Mansfield town?

Could it be Derby,as they like to get in good young players in the area

Yes heard a few rumours couple of weeks back

Swansea, Birmingham, west brom, wolves, derby and also leeds quite a few teams watching him

Is he even that good?

10 Jun 2013 03:38:37
Goodwillie to Bolton or Blackpool

10 Jun 2013 03:38:18
Scotland winger Matt Phillips, Wales Joe Ledley, and Danny Graham wanted by Cardiff as well as Ledley's Celtic team mate Beram Kayal

10 Jun 2013 14:32:52
Ledley- far better players already at the club in his position, Graham - the same plus he's lazy and a jack. Matt Phillips would be a great signing though.

10 Jun 2013 01:10:15
Luc Castaignos - Ex Inter Striker, currently with F. C Twente. Representatives from NCFC have met with the club and are looking to conclude the transfer for a fee believed to be around 5.5mil {Ed034's Note - good coup for notts county that

I think you'll find that's Norwich City

10 Jun 2013 13:13:40
Having purchased Ricky Van Wolfswinkel earlier in the year, I'd imagine that this won't happen.

Still though - Good moves for Norwich if there is any truth in this.

DEFINITELY NOT Notts County, the original NCFC #OldestLeagueClub

10 Jun 2013 00:30:37
Ipswich hot favourites to sign released qpr striker dj Campbell. Middlesborough also linked, but djs prolific loan spell at Ipswich seems to be the deciding factor for where his future lies. Deal will only go through with the sale of chopra however. {Ed003's Note Jeez you could have just said you were favourites!}

Bookies have just said Chopra has put a Pony on DJ joining Blackburn.

Does he know something?

Wow, one min town won't get him, next sentence Town will lol

Melwing28

Ipswich set to get jackson on a free from norwich in the next 2 weeks

Dj great for us last year but not priority at moment

10 Jun 2013 01:02:49

West Ham ready to rekindle interest in Scotland and Blackburn striker and goal machine Jordan Rhodes

Poor old Blackburn. Without Rhodes they don't stand a chance of promotion next year and may be fodder for relegation.
