tv reported that boro are looking into signing Josh King from Blackburn. {Ed003's Note - a bit injury prone and I'd imagine on high wages}

11 May 2013 00:10:00
he is utter carp and a waste of money

10 May 2013 23:13:58
Gary Hooper is set for a move to the Premier League with West Bromwich Albion being the front runners. A fee of £5 million is expected to the price payed by the Baggies.

If Hooper does decide to leave it won't be WBA. Don't be surprised if he goes to Spurs as they need another striker. Hooper deserves a chance at the big time and Spurs may be willing.

11 May 2013 13:50:18
Is there any proof? Hope its TRUE love for him to show his worth in the EPL

Hooper not good enough for top 6 in prem no where near

10 May 2013 22:46:21
Huddersfield Town interested in Saint Johnstone right back Dave MacKay on a pre contract deal in the summer.

He has signed a deal to 2015, so if they want him they will be paying cash for him.

I wish town would stop looking at Scottish players, the majority of players from the SPL are League 1/2 standard at best!

The only guy out the SPL you have signed in Dixon, who has played most of your games this season. And done very well since you landed him for nothing. And even made the Scotland team. Plenty of players from the SPL. could walk into most championship teams. Most do well when they leave to go down there.

1 SPERONI
2 Mc Naughton
3 MURPHY
4 KISNORBO
5 BROADFOOT
6 COWIE
7 DOBBIE
8 BRYSON
9 McCormack
10 Aluko
11 CONWAY
12 MARSHALL
13 HOVIELT
14 SAMMON
15 McCABE
16 MAGUIRE
17 GREER
18 BURKE
19 S McDONALD
20 PEARSON promoted Derby

Think that would be a strong squad

We have actually also signed higginbotham, Wallace and woods and there not ronaldo, Messi and iniesta are they!

Rhodes? he was Scottish (not SPL but still Scottish) and was he any good?

11 May 2013 13:00:09
Wallace and Higgonbottom have never played in the SPL. You signed them from Falkirk in the first division. Young players what do you expect, still learning there trade. I mist Noel Hunt out to, who was with Dundee United. And went up last year with Reading.

Rhodes is Scottish by virtue of going to school in Scotland for a couple of years, he was born in Oldham, has no Scottish ancestors etc. we also signed Arfield to add to the list, just released him, not pulled any trees up either.

Rhodes was from ipswich, and only qual for scotland from his school days. wallace looks a good prospect, but remember we have just released arfield after costing 400,000 from falkirk.

We sent cads up there and then bought him backi believe or was that a loan?

George Porter to return to Brisbane Road following an unsuccessful spell at Burnley.

Still has 2 years left on a 3 year contract

Been told he is free to find himself a another club so I'd assume that it'd either be a free or a nominal fee!

10 May 2013 22:15:59
Partick Thistle are set to sign John Baird, Ryan Conroy and Brian Easton from Dundee. The source another Dundee player. Set to be announced early next week.

10 May 2013 22:02:08
Carlisle have tabled a 100k bid for Peterhead striker Rory Mcallister who has scored 42 goals in 68 games since joining from Brechin City

Carlisle don't have £100000 so if MaCallister moves it won't be to Carlisle.

Carlisle have no money, the board have announced the budget is reduced from last season, please don't post unrealistic rumours about our club, carlisle like most league 1 &2 clubs will be after frees' and loans,

How the can Carlisle afford £100 thousand we had to sell paddy madden for £20000 as we could not afford his wages, although if yeovil sell him we get half of the deal and he is valued at around £1 million upwards.

Where is this 100k coming from

Rory Mcallister is out of contract at the end of the season get your facts right mate

Your very right if we want him he will cost us nothing, now that makes I more likely, Scottish i. e where Abbott has been mainly hunting, watched a game in Scotland today

10 May 2013 21:37:26
Huddersfield Town are looking at buying Lee Tomlin from Peterborough United and Frankie Fielding from Derby County

Hope so

Lee Tomlin is my mates uncle, he's staying with Peterborough to try and help them back to the Championship

Get your cheque book out then

Yea course he is, tomlin on his way to the mighty Terriers

If you are willing to pay silly money, you might get him, Posh will only sell him for 3m +

£3m?Think that heavy drop must have scrambled your brains! You'll be lucky to keep hold of him in league 1 but £3m is insane for someone with his previous & his beer belly!

3 mil, please stop my sides are hurting, he's worth 1. 5 max!

Yeah we got relegated but the plan is to get promoted straight back and the easiest way to do that is by keeping our best players. If you read my post properly, you'll see I mentioned silly money. I know for a fact we wouldn't sell for 1.5m!

It does not matter what he is worth posh don't want to sell so will be 3 mill as we prob couldn't turn that down

10 May 2013 21:24:05

10 May 2013 21:06:35
Norwich City will accept a 650k bid with add ons from Championship club Derby County, for striker James Vaughan.

It then will remain to be seen whether the other interested party Huddersfield Town will match the bid, or come in and beat that offer. The player will wait on The Terriers before beginning negotiations with County and weigh up his options.

What is clear is that both clubs are very keen to sort this out quickly so they can turn to other targets if this deal does not happen for each club reapectively. Vaughan will 100% be a Derby County or Huddersfield Town player next season.

Just 650k up front? can't see it.

he saved hudds this season and that shows as he was their POS.

at least 1.5m is fair IMO

I think 650k is a bit low, however 1.5 million is a bit high. I would say a fair bid would be somewhere near 1 million.

Just a crazy thought, shouldn't we give him another go at Norwich? Seems to have played well for Huddersfield this year and played in atleast 30 games, which isn't too bad.

30 games and 14 goals in the championship.

screams premier league quality, doesn't it?

And if he had played in all 46, at the same scoring ratio, he'd have got about 22: when did around a goal every other game stop being a pretty good return for a striker?

10 May 2013 20:48:20
Big transfers this summer
Leighton Baines 15m Man Utd
Maroune Fellaini 23m Man Utd
Robert Lewandowski 30m Man Utd
Cristiano Ronaldo 60m Man Utd
Christian Eriksen 12m Liverpool
Edinson Cavani 50m Man City
Radamel Falcao 28m Chelsea
Xabi Alonso 10m Liverpool
Wayne Rooney 25m Chelsea
Stephan Jovetic 20m Arsenal

10 May 2013 22:35:50
Eriksen is going to Tottenham.

Yeah that's what Moyes would need, a world superstar in the dressing room who thinks he's bigger than the club. Mourinho can't even handle Ronaldo, He has Madrid eating out of his hands.

Rooney won't go to Chelsea

11 May 2013 09:01:17
28 million for falcao your having a laugh ain't ya!

11 May 2013 10:28:26
Can't see united spending 128 million with ffp coming

So they're going to give Moyes 128m to spend in his first season. Moyes won't blow money like that.

What about begovic to Arsenal

10 May 2013 20:41:34
Bristol city are to sign Kevin Phillips on a pay as you play deal

11 May 2013 07:44:12
Bent left Sunderland as he did not get on with Bruce why would he move to hull

I put this on about 5pm but it wasn;t put on so your a bit late. deals already done and it will be a 2yr deal as well.

he stayed overnight at a Hotel so you are way behind the times with this.

2 and half hours. Way behind?

Unlucky Bury fan, he obviously wants to improve himself.

Ye Good signing for us!

Harris enjoyed a successful loan spell at bitter rivals bury at the back of this campaign scoring 4 goals in 4 starts making 12 appearances overall.

Its a 2yr contract by the way/

For 12 months according to Posh website.

10 May 2013 18:57:57
Oldham have had matt smiths contract extended for a further two years despite interest from many clubs across the championship and premier league. Lee croft, Alex cisak and kirk millar are yet to sign a contract.

Really the guy has been in france came back to go to Wembley so nope he hasn;t signed anything.

Why do you think we have signed the 6 footer from Posh??

The players don;t have to sign anythign yet as thye are still in contract,

10 May 2013 17:53:03
Exeter City are in discussions with potential investors who want to pump money into the trust owned club. Talks are at a sensitive stage and will be used to finance the redevelopment of the stadium.

They will also fund some signings for Paul Tisdale for next season. This will ensure Cureton, Oakley and O Flynn remain with the Grecians for next season.

They will also fund the loan signings of Lawson D'ath and Ryan Harley.

If Jamie Cureton is released can we sign him. Exeter were the best team at the Oxford Kastad last season and Cureton was exceptional

10 May 2013 17:53:35
Looks like Peter Leven has signed for Plymouth

Hope he does well for you. If he can stay fit and train hard, you will have a very good player

Why does it 'look like' it?

10 May 2013 17:26:29
Ryan Burge is a potential target for Cheltenham Town.

10 May 2013 16:04:03
Charlton Athletic, Ipswich Town, Sheffield Wednesday and Burnley are monitoring Helsingborgs striker, Robin Simovic.

The 21 year old stands at 6'6" and has scored 4 goals in his first 7 Allsvenskan games.

Could someone please explain where these stories are coming from. I could say that Ipswich are signing Gareth Bale, people probably would believe me.

Errrr No we wouldn't lol

I heard that rumour about Bale, must be true.

No, they're just using the tractor to collect the hay 'bale'!

10 May 2013 15:00:45
League One Apprentice of the Year Luke James is on his way to Colchester from Hartlepool

10 May 2013 18:03:45
Stoke are chasing some current championship players to strengthen their team, these include;

Yannick Bolasie - Crystal Palace 3-4m
Mile Jedinak - Crystal Palace 2.5m
Chris Wood - Leicester 4m
(these depending on club playoffs results)
Marcos Alonso - Bolton free
Martin Olsson - Blackburn 2.5m

Jedinak is a great player (boro fan)

10 May 2013 22:46:37
Wood will not leave Leicester he has already said

Alonso is off to Italy

You can't say that a player won't leave because you don't want them to players say all the time that they'll stay but do not

Not a Palace fan but given that Zaha has gone to United for what £15m? and the fact that Bolasie is rated just as highly and is well regarded by many managers I can't see them letting him go for less than £5m or £6m. And the sale of Zaha probably means that Palace will not have to sell.

Someone with head on his shoulders ^

10 May 2013 18:01:41
tom craddock and matty blair signing any thoughts on these?

who else will sign? {Ed034's Note - for who is my first thought???

Darryl Duffy to sign for Partick Thistle

10 May 2013 17:27:52
Out of contract goalkeeper Neil Alexander is apparently leaving Rangers after failing to agree to fresh terms. Both Derby County and Birmingham City are said to be keen on signing him.

Any chance of doing some research before posting silly rumours. Derby have just signed Grant, now making 4 goalkeepers. Unlikely to add Alexander to the number!

Get your fact right we signed Grant from Burnley so therefore we won't be getting Alexander.

10 May 2013 17:20:15
Lennon to Everton with Celtic replacing him with former Scotland manager Craig Levein

Never going to happen especially Levein getting the Celtic job

Levein hope 2 god not

Rather have Hughes or O'Neill

10 May 2013 16:01:36
Watford have taken an interest in attacking right-back Wallace Oliveira dos Santos of Chelsea who is currently on loan to his former club Fluminense until the end of the season.

10 May 2013 17:15:37
A few former players are on Luton Town's radar. Tom Craddock, Simon Heslop and Mickey Spillane are all free agents and it's likely that at least 1 will sign. Also Alex Lawless has rejected offer from Stevenage and 1 other league 1 club in order to sign a 2 year deal at Kenilworth Road.

Craddock has signed for Pompey

10 May 2013 16:50:19

10 May 2013 15:27:10
Heard from a very reliable source that Kevin Doyle to Celtic has all but been agreed as a direct replacement for the departing Gary Hooper off to Norwich or West Brom for a fee of around £7-8m

Yes. because his summer price will be the same as what they wanted for him in the winter.
not to mention he now only has a year on his contract.
anything over 4m is just celtic fans dreaming, and if Norwich payed 4m for him I'd be a little upset.

let's put it this way.

RVW - 8.5m.
hooper - 7-8m?

YEAH!. no.

10 May 2013 19:10:15
Hopper is worth 7 - 8 million easily. however he plays in the spl and as i'm sure everyone knows people underpay for players from the spl. Also Kevin Doyle is not good enough for Celtic. his goal scoring record is terrible. I would be surprised if that move happened. we need to remember celtic reached the last 16 of the champions leauge this season and will want to get as close to it as they can again. Kevin Doyle is clearly not the player that can get them there.

How can doyle be a replacement when he's only scored like 3 times the whole of this season

If Doyle scores 3 all of next season, and all 3 of those are in the champions league, then he would of scored more than hooper did in the CL this season.

so whoosh, 2 points gone - the hooper worth 7-8m and the fact that he helped you with the CL.

Lets get cone of wigan, he's going cheap,

10 May 2013 15:24:13
Oxford are in talks with Akpo Sodje and he is likely to sign a one year deal

Not sure where this has come from. Unlikely I would say. We are after, as I understand, a forward that will score us goals which is what we have sadly missed for a number of seasons. Sodje does not seem to fit the bill and has not been that consistent or in fact been a regular in a first team for a while. So as I say, unlikely

Sodje has an ok scoring record in higher leagues than we are in. He's the tall target man, with the experience, that Wilder has stated we are after. He's better than Rene Howe who we've been linked with.
He played in 16 games from January for Scunthorpe, and scored 6 goals. Not to bad for a relegated team.

10 May 2013 15:15:37
Jose Callejon will leave Real Madrid for Liverpool this summer. Talks will be in the region of £8.7m on a 4 year deal.

10 May 2013 16:11:27
Got a relative who has links close with Leighton Baines. Apparently he has no plans to leave this summer so will not be tempted by Manchester United.

If man united come calling and agree a fee with Everton, will Baines turn down more money and European Champions football?

10 May 2013 19:47:49
baines and fellani will both be of to utd , who would they rather play for everton or utd, Europa cup or champions league??

10 May 2013 15:51:04
Darryl Duffy is considering a contract offer to stay at Cheltenham Town but it seems likely that the striker will be returning to Scotland.

10 May 2013 15:45:26
HUGHES going to Everton annoucement on Monday

Great news

10 May 2013 20:23:50
Completely untrue.

10 May 2013 15:39:04
Peterborough United have offered Grant McCann and Mark Little now contracts

meanwhile, Nicky Ajose, Emile Sinclair, Daniel Kearns and Tyrone Barnett have been made available for transfer

10 May 2013 15:36:57
Bournemouth defender Jon Meades will join Wimbledon permanently. Charlie Sheringham is going to Portsmouth or Wimbledon. Wes Fogden is going to Exeter and Matt Tubbs is going on loan to Crawley.

Bournemouth to sign Lewis Dunk for 210k and Steven Davies for 275k

Is Matt tubbs actually going to crawley because doesn't say on the website

Is it true about Tubbs

Hope both join the dons

Meades is a talent. Really intelligent player. The Wimbledon fans rate him very highly. Be great to see what he could do and how much he could improve playing week in week out in an improved and 'Ardley' Wimbledon team.

10 May 2013 15:13:59
Leeds United manager Brian McDermott is wanting to sign five players in the summer.
The first is thought to be 22 year old Carlisle full back Christopher Chantler. The former Manchester City youngster has impressed McDermott over the last season and it is believed an undisclosed fee has already been agreed.
McDermott is also keen on bringing in a winger.
It is thought to be Tremaine Stewart. He will join other Jamaican at the club in Rodolph Austin. The 25 year old plays in Norway for Aalesund and has turned down other clubs to join United.
Three strikers are also on the radar at Elland Road.
Nottingham Forest hitman David McGoldrick is subject of interest from McDermott. The former Southampton striker was originally set to join Ipswich after his loan move but it is believed United have managed to persuade him to come to West Yorkshire.
The second forward in line for a Elland Road debut is Rotherham player Alex Revell. The 29 year old believes he is ready to jump League 1 and head straight into The Championship after winning promotion with Rotherham. It is thought United manager Steve Evans is reluctant to let the former Braintree attacker leave but a bid of £400,000 could tempt him to part ways with Revell.
The final forward who McDermott believes can take Leeds into a top six place next season is yet another Jamaican. Karabukspor attacker Luton Shelton is subject of already having talks with McDermott. The 27 year old is known for his lightening pace and has most notably played in Norway for Valarenga. Shelton is out of contract in the summer and won't cost United a penny.

McGoldrick has already signed a pre-contract deal at Ipswich. Utter tosh.

Revell scored 4 goals in league 2

Alex Revell has just signed a new contract with us and seemed happy to stay.
Id accept 400k for him happily though.

There is no way on this earth someone will pay £400,000 for Alex revell! I am a rotherham fan and can't wait to see him leave the club. People like him as he works hard (runs around like a headless chicken) he as only scored 5 goals I think it is all season in a team that has finished 2nd!

If Leeds do want him for that price I will give him a piggy back all the way

Luton Shelton played for sheff united and was useless. Really hope Leeds get him!

Revs is a great wholehearted player but 400k for a striker who only managed 6 goals all season? Think I'd take that!

Watch mcgoldrick sign for Ipswich on the 1st of july load of squit mate its a done deal bye bye

Although chantler is a good fullback he is injured for at least another 2 months why would you take the risk.

Chantler is injured and has signed a new 1 year deal

Revell scored 6 goals but he runs his heart out

Mcgoldrick already said he will join town! get your facts straight!!

Chantler is good enough for the championship, hope he doesn't sign for them, had his op so he is ready for new season.

Why use 10 words when you can use 100! Most of what you state is speculative nonsense and can't see McDermott going for many or any of the names you suggest.

McGoldrick signed a contract with us to join in the summer back when he joined on the initial loan. Where do these rumours come from?!

10 May 2013 14:56:55
Forest want Adomah and Forrester from Bristol City and Brentford respectivley.

I don't think can can afford either of them.

Can't afford them! We are Nottingham Forest who have BILLIONAIRE Kuwait owners

But if the players don't want to play for you they will not join you. Adomah for one will look to play in the prem or a top champ team. forrester maybe though might I'll give you that one.

10 May 2013 14:46:56
Peterboroughs official site confirmed today that Grant McCann and Mark Little are to be offered new contracts althougth there is other interest in the 2 players

10 May 2013 14:46:55
Portsmouth set to sign, Dean Gerken, Charlie Sheringham, and Darren Purse. All signing on Monday

Not likely as Smith has already signed and Eastwood will next week

Purse also too old to fit the Whittingham policy. PUP.

10 May 2013 14:46:10
Huddersfield Town - GTF as an offer from the Pool but seemingly a better offer as just been made by the Terrier's

Why are we being linked to ex players who are getting past their sellby date? No way is GTF coming back as isn't Stead.

10 May 2013 14:53:19
Long wanted keeper Adriano Basso will sign a 2 year deal at Portsmouth in the coming weeks.

Unlikely. Smith has just signed a new contract, Eastwood to follow suit next week.

10 May 2013 14:42:15
Crystal Palace forward Yannick Bolasie on QPR radar to replace Tarrabt

He's off to west brom!

He's not he's off to west brom!!

11 May 2013 00:21:36
Not going anywhere. Move along.

Hes going to stoke

11 May 2013 21:03:18
He's not going to Stoke either, sorry.

Bolasie is not going to QPR he's a lazy one trick pony and they've already got their allocation of them. Did I mention he's greedy and turned down a trial with QPR because leeds started sniffing around only to end up begging warnock for another chance after leeds blew him out. Players like him need to remember its not all about money

10 May 2013 14:41:15
Cristiano Ronaldo will be making an appearance at the Manchester United game v Swansea and will aim to hold talks about returning to the Premiership Champions.

10 May 2013 14:36:06
Aldershot striker Danny Hylton is a target for Brentford. Trotta who is expected to return to Fulham will leave a gap in the strikers role. Hylton, who went down with Aldershot was their bright spark last season and a move would seem likely if the clubs can strike an agreement.

However, it is believed Millwall are interested but only on a 1 month loan deal.

Brentfords interest came during a match vs Aldershot in the 2010/11 season however, at the time Aldershot wanted £76,000 for the player. It is now believed £45,000 will be accepted

Surely with Aldershot in admin they'd need their highest earners off the books? Hylton being one of them they can't really afford to be picky over how much he goes for

Harry Redknapp identified Grant Holt as the captain he wants to lead the QPR charge in the Championship. He needs a player who has led a side to promotion in the division and Holt fits the bill for him

Holt will not move to QPR if he goes he will go to his family in Carlisle.

Why drop a league

10 May 2013 19:57:55
Be a good signing. Harry has a way of getting players in. If I was a QPR fan I'd be well gutted at the lazy lot who were put together. 'Team' is not the right word. AFCB fan

Maybe this has something do with the new million pound pitch being installed at Loftus rd. I rekon it can't be cut by normal methods so they want holt to graze along with Zamora prior to match days

10 May 2013 14:43:14
Wolverhampton Wanderers have made an approach for Colchester manager Joe Dunne. Wanderers are after a young manager and with the Irishman being only 39 years old, they feel he is the right man to do the job at Molineux. Chairman Steve Morgan is reportedly impressed with how he steered United away from relegation on League 1 this season just gone.

No chance, Joe is Colchester through and through.

Very Much doubt it, Joe Dunne is Colchester through and through

Dunne will take Wolves into League 2.

10 May 2013 14:27:57
Clint Hill will sign for Ipswich Town next season after QPR have decided he is no longer needed at the club.

Clint Hill hinted he was leaving last week when on the QPR's official website he was "considering his future" however he was trying to highlight his plans of retirement.

In addition, he met up with Mick Mccarthy and he said he would like to purchase the player on a two year deal.

No they will be getting berra and stearman

10 May 2013 14:22:25
Stoke will try and hijack Tottenham's move for Lisandro Lopez by offering £9.5 million for the Lyon striker. Lopez who is prepared to leave Lyon has expressed his desire to move to Spurs.

However, Stoke's lack of clinical strikers means Lopez will have a greater opportunity to play week in week out. The returning form of Adebayor against Chelsea has also meant Lopez is concerned about his chances at Tottenham.

Lyon are believed to want £11.5 million pounds though as they try to lure Benzema back to the club.

Lopez will never go to Stoke to play route 1 football. He will be able to play to his strengths at spurs who is his best suiter

Never happening he's 30 years old and wage would be stupid

More like John Coleman.

Odemwingie - 3mil

Hull City Outs:

McLean - Notts County - 250k
Cullen - Free Agent

Mcgugan is OUT OF CONTRACT

Mcgugan is out of contract and therefore would not cost a penny

Isn't Mcgugan out of contract?

A tad optimistic.

You need to get you're facts straight, mcgugan is out of contract so were the hell you get 1.8 million from is anybodies guess.

Blackburn paid 8million for Rhodes who was a League 1 player, he's just scored 20+ goals in the Championship so why would they sell him for 6million?

East and Bradley have both been released, so no fee involved

He may have played for you already, however, you're not having Turner back!

Blackburn paid £8m for Rhodes, why sell for less when he scored for fun?

Move over Bishop, Corden ect. There's a new comedian in town!

Stockdale 2m? Try 4m
Some of those are less realistic than lord of the rings. Get off the wacky backy

Notts County don't have £250k and have just cut their Playing Budget by a third so they won't be buying anyone

Bradley and East were both released on Free's. Pompey have no money for transfer fees at present

Wolves paid three million pounds for Sako, Jez Moxey will play hardball, just look at the Fletcher, Jarvis and Kightly deals. None of those players are worth what their respective teams paid for them.

Portsmouth haven't paid a penny for either of those two.

Kone to Hull Really? {Ed052's Note - if Wigan go down, anything's possible}

Hull fans getting excited. No way would you get Jone, Rhodes or Odemwingie or Stockdale who will be Fulhams number 1 when Schwarzer retires

30 million spent and 450k coming back! You are living in a dream world!
First of all as a canary I can assure you turner will NOT be sold he is a contended for player of the season and we are short on cover for cb.
Rhodes for 6mill?! Yeh good luck with that maybe more like 10-12mill! Norwich always liked him curious as to why the speculation dropped off the boil!
Also why would you need kone, Rhodes and sako! All three of those strikers are good enough to be starting 11! So I take it hull are super confident and are going to play a 3-4-3 or 3-3-1-3 or 4-1-2-1-2!

1 or two of those targets are realistic the rest are pipe dreams!

True but he has played well in a below average side so surely there will be more stable Premier league clubs that want him for example West Brom West Ham

Because hull are going to spend 30 million aren't they??

Norwich definitely will not sell Turner. Let alone for 1. 5M

Im a Hull fan, but if you believe that all the 'ins' are going to happen it has 2 centre backs yet none leaving that would leave us with 7 decent centre backs? Premier League needs to watch out for City next season though, we will be the team to watch! UTT

Cant see city signing all these championship players otherwise we'd be another Derby

Think the Fulham fans wanting Stockdale to be number 1 and valuing him at 4 million must not have seen him play very much. Decent keeper but nothing special, poor shot stopper. Wouldn't value him over 1 or 2 million and would much rather have someone like Schmeichel or Mannone

10 May 2013 13:57:10
Cheltenham manager Mark Yates is searching for a left winger and Fleetwood's Junior Brown tops his list.

He's on contract so will cost a few quid

10 May 2013 13:43:16
Rumours going around Milton Keynes that you're after Stephen Gleeson. Anyone from Middlesbrough heard anything about it? He's easily a championship quality player, he can pass and score some absolute bangers. Just rumours or something concrete?

Why would middlesbrough know about him when he doesn't play for them?

If he ain't out of contract, he ain't coming to boro anytime soon

Where are these rumours coming from? If he is any good then Mowbray will know all about him, big question will come down to finance, boro are no longer big spenders and will have to sell first in order to buy, how much would mk dons be looking for?

Heard the rumours flying around stadium MK, I am pretty close to the club and have heard rumours of you potentially looking at him. I don't know any figures, but the club would probably take 300-400k which might be too much according to some posters on here. I only posted to see if there was any truth behind these 'rumours'.

13 May 2013 14:30:13
300K is probably around our limit. It would depend on who else was available on a free before we moved for any signing.

300k is about on par with what we could afford. It would all depend on who else is available on a free transfer before Mowbray would swoop for any signing.

Ipswich being linked with Harry Forrester from brentford should they not get promoted a week on sunday.
Also Ipswich town looking to bring in wolves trio, henry, doyle and ward within a few weeks.
Source EADT

McCarthy loves Ward but he is absolutely awful. We bought him as a striker and moved him to left midfield as he was terrible. We then moved him to left back as he was terrible in left midfield and he is the worst left back at Wolves in living memory ( and I had my first season ticket in the old fourth division. This bloke is a trier but he isn't good enough for pro football.

10 May 2013 13:32:53
Oxford United will try to tie up deals this week with Torquay's Rene Howe and Burton's Matt Paterson.

Hope so.

We had Matt Patterson on trial 2 years ago. And rejected him. Can't see us going for him.
Wilder has come out today and said we're after 2 strikers. 1 big target man and 1 quick goal poacher.
Patterson is neither

Paterson is about to sign a contract at Burton. He has had an amazing return to football at the Pirelli scoring some amazing goals this season. No way will Gary Rowett let him leave.

Garry Rowett can't stop him leaving tho.
He doesn't have to sign a new deal at Burton.
He's not the type of striker we're after anyway. He's not a target man or a quick goal poacher.

Get compensation 4 him because he's under 25

The fans love Pato and GR has already put a great deal on the table, he will stay.

Paterson has enough talent to play least in the Championship, will stay at Burton for another year then move on.

You'd get about 10k compensation, considering you've had him less than a year. And hardly contributed to his development!

No compensation would be payable as Paterson is not under contract. Brewers have offered him a deal to stay, fingers crossed he will take it. Great season for the youngster scoring some memorable goals, he is going places, but not to Oxford lol.

10 May 2013 13:31:41
Heard that there is some interest in Cheltenham's Marlon Pack with the teams involved are Bradford City, Bournemouth, Yeovil, Doncaster, Rotherham, Fleetwood, Northampton and Peterborough United.

Rumour going around Bradford is that Jacques Maghoma is interested in moving to Bradford, only if they go up though, other teams that have an interest is Rotherham United, Middlesborough, Peterborough and Yeovil.

Burton's Calvin Zola has got 10 to 15 clubs interested in him which include Rotherham, Bradford, Peterborough, Fleetwood, Newport County and Mansfield.

10 May 2013 13:28:16
Clough to Everton!

Lies, lies and more lies, this is not possible as Nigel does not have the correct coaching badges to manage in the prem.

Thats not a rumour. surely that's a punchline

This has got to be a Derby fan making this up.

I doubt any club would go after him as he's had 5 years at the club and still done nothing {Ed034's Note - as far as I am aware clough still has not done his badges required. he is still only at derby because he was in the role before the ruling came in

Get a life

10 May 2013 13:01:06
Cheltenham chairman has once again granted manager Mark Yates a bumper wage and transfer budget in order to ensure automatic promotion from league two next season.

The rubies chairman has stated the clubs wage bill is larger than several league one clubs already.

Pressure is now building on Yates to deliver promotion with fans growing restless.

Source Local media.

Administration will be beckoning if Cheltenham are splashing the cash they have failed in the last two seasons to get promotion what makes you think third time lucky {Ed003's Note - wrong they have wealthy backers.}

He said ours is bigger than yeovils but smaller than bradfords

This is total rubbish. We have one of the smaller budgets in League 1. Northampton and Bradford have double the budget we have.

This is not true, Cheltenham chairman supposedly said that the club cannot afford to get promoted due to clauses in the players contracts including a salary increase. Also the two scholars that have recently signed pro deals have now been reduced to 1 year deals as opose to the 2 year deal they were promised. Why would that be? {Ed001's Note - ffp not lack of cash. They don't have the fan base to allow them to spend the money the backers are willing to invest. They are massively limited by the rules, which is the whole point of them, I guess.}

Rubbish- we are able to spend because we ave just made money through play-offs game and people are forgetting we got to the third round of the FA cup against Everton. These extra revenues are ploughed straight back into the team. Cheltenham is well run and on a tight budget- the backers never Jepodise the club to sign 1/2 class acts. We got business of the year in Gloucestershire last year!

Search Simon Keswick- if cheltenham were to get in any hint of trouble, then number one fan Keswick would invest some of his 100 million. 5th richest in football.

What Paul said was look, there are several clubs in League One with smaller budget, so for us to be successful Town does not have to spend a lot of money to get promoted.

The budget will also be similar to this years budget - not considerably smaller, or bigger.

Cheltenham do not have wealthy backers. Keswick was involved but pulled out of the club a few years ago but he was never bank rolling them when he was on the board. Mira Kohler money is available but is a set sum and is not being added to so when runs out there is nothing else left. Paul Baker runs a tight ship at Cheltenham and will not chase the dream at the expense of the club, he could have sold lock stock to Jed McCrory last year for the club to chase a dream but feared for its long term future so turned down the offer.

10 May 2013 12:50:13
Richie Barker wants to bring Cheltenham midfielder Marlon Pack to the Broadfield Stadium.

Pack will join a better club than Crawley.

10 May 2013 12:33:30
Heinz Muller to return to Oakwell. Luke Steele we don't need you!

10 May 2013 12:31:35
Ricardo Fuller has agreed a 1 year deal to return to Preston with the option of a second year from the 1st July-done deal!

I really doubt Fuller would be willing to drop down to the kind of wage PNE could afford.

I thought he would be looking closer to his home down south as well.

10 May 2013 16:14:58
only if this was true but it is not

Wish this was true. although his scoring record for Charlton wasn't great last season.

10 May 2013 12:27:49
If Ipswich Town's bid for Kristoffer Nordfeldt from Heerenveen is unsuccessful they will turn to Mamadou Samossa, French keeper from Guingamp. Probable cost 300,000 Euros. Ex France u-20 player who has turned out since for Mali first team

Samossa is a big lad, but I've seen him twice at Roudourou and he's not that good. Both matches ended 0-0 with EAG attacking. Leave him to the Bretons

10 May 2013 12:25:39
West Ham will make a 4M bid for Charlie Austin in the summer with goalkeeper Stephen Henderson going in the opposite direction has part of the deal

10 May 2013 12:20:43
Crystal Palace star Miles Jedinak was confirmed to be on rival club Brighton's radar. A possible attempt sign the Australian could be made should the seagulls achieve promotion via the play-offs.

No way! third rate midfielder. not needed at the club and don't think he would be welcomed with open arms.

Why would we sign a rival player? Look at the stick Murray gets

We will sign him if he's good

11 May 2013 09:03:17
In your dreams, he ain't leaving Palace.

If we go up he will be tempted away from palace

Based on Friday's game, we don't need to buy Jedinak - just his elbows.

This is true it was in the paper and online poyet has said that he is after jedinak

13 May 2013 23:34:55
Jedinak isn't going anywhere now that Palace put you lot in your place. There are teachers and there are pupils, know your place.

Bakary Sako's Bags are packed at Wolves. 3 Premier League clubs. rumoured to be Norwich, Fulham and West Brom are all lining up bids. Money in region of 2. 5 - 3 mill.

10 May 2013 15:18:34
West Brom will be getting him. Already been told he's been talking to Mulumbu about it as they're big mates.

Plus he wants to stay in the midlands

Baggies you will be paying more than three million pounds for Sako. Plus Sako is not one of the high earners so he is not on the get rid list. Prepare to pay over the odds just like Sunderland did for Fletcher or Stoke for Kightly or WHFC did for Jarvis.

It shouldn't be anymore than 3 million. I don't know if you remember but wolves are now a league 1 side which will likely lower the price they can expect for him.

One thing that people still don't realise is that despite his many incapabilities, Moxey will not be letting a successful player leave for less than we paid for him. Just will not happen, garuntee it.

Wolves to west brom? Struggle settling in, Sinclair is more likely

10 May 2013 13:13:51
Millwall also intersted in Yeovil's Paddy Madden if they don't get through play offs.

I hope this is true, looks like a decent player and let's face it can't be worse than what we have got at present

With all of the interest in Madden I doubt Millwall would win the race to sign him.

10 May 2013 13:02:31
Bristol Rovers manager John Ward has been asked by Wolverhampton Wanderers board to interview for the vacancy at Molineux.
He has links with the black country club after a stint as assistant manager some years ago. Apparently he has impressed the wolves board after steering the league two minnows away from the football league trap door.

League 2 minnows?

I can confirm 110% that John Ward will be Bristol Rovers manager come the start of the 2013-14 season.

Thank god he's just signed a contract then haha
A few months back, if I remember correctly, he stated in an interview that he had no intention of returning to managment, but only came back to rovers because of his history and relationship with the club. Hopefully, it's interest and interest only.

How true is this?

10 May 2013 23:22:45
It's not.

He just signed a deal?

10 May 2013 12:42:10
Simon Church to Millwall from Reading. Millwall looked last season and will move to bring him in. Has only played once this season so could be affordable. Great little player, still only 24.

He was on loan at Town this season, poor.

Great little player? He's awful. that's why Reading are letting him run down hos contract and leave. lye will cost nothing but even I wouldn't pay that for him. I'd pay you to take him!

He was on loan at hudds. Looked hopeless. Wouldn`t pay him in washers.

Would be very affordable as he'll be on a free but even that would be a ware of money. He's useless.

Honestly, he really is dreadful.

10 May 2013 12:31:48
Burnley will bring in keeper Tom Heaton on a free if he turns down contract offer from Bristol City

Also Sam Baldock from City for 500,000 to replace Martin Paterson who will leave for Notts Forest

David Norris is on the top of Sean Dyches list to replace Chris Mccann

Please take norris off our hands, awfull player

You won't get Baldock for 500 k he's still in contract and we have no need to sell at that price!

10 May 2013 12:11:25

10 May 2013 12:10:05
Cheltenham manager Mark Yates could bring back former striker Chris Zebroski if the player's attitude improves. Zebroski left the club by mutual consent in January.

Not gunna happen, he wouldn't of sacked him otherwise

Great player but repeatedly failed to turn up for matches. yates gave him a chance and he blew it. never gona happen.

10 May 2013 12:09:17
Leeds United are looking at 7 signings this season of which are:
Billy Sharp 1.2m
Adam Le Fondre 1m
Jermaine Beckford 1m
Ian Harte free
Jobi Mcanuff 800k
and possibly another defender and midfielder but not sure who but things are looking up for LEEDS UNITED MOT

3 strikers are you mad? wingers and CM a priority

Much as I'd like to see Harte come back I can't see why we'd move for him when we've already got Warnock, White, Peltier, Drury and Charlie Taylor available in his position.

I agree the midfielders at this club is extemely poor like chuugers brown and paul green david norris

10 May 2013 19:32:58
Nottingham Forest had talks with Sharp yesterday and they want to sign him

Paul green was decent compared o others such as brown, Norris and tonge. Tonge was awful when he signed pertinently.

Only McAnuff will join from that list

Chelsea are understood to recline their interest in Falcao and pursue Lewandowski as a cheaper alternative following their near agreement with Schurrle.

10 May 2013 12:29:51
Lewandowski has been involved in talks with Real Madrid. He is also a top target for Bundesliga rivals Bayern Munchen. It has been stated before through his agent that Lewandowski would like to play in the Premierssip but it will be unlikely to happen in the near future.

10 May 2013 11:59:00
Crystal Palace are lining up a move for Swindon Town keeper Wes Foderingham 18 months after selling the 22 year old. Foderingham has only 1 year left on his current contract.

Hope so no idea why we ever let him go in the first place!

10 May 2013 11:57:53
Cheltenham Town are hopeful of signing Wycombe's Joel Grant. Grant can play as a striker or a winger.

He's said on his instagram account he is staying with wycombe, and doesn't know where rumours have come from.

Why would he want to stay at wycombe than go to a team that could get automatic promotion next season?

Who is to say wycombe wont, with Gaz in charge if we keep squad together

Why would be won't to go to a LG 2 club who aren't even that big when there are LG 1 clubs interested apparently.

10 May 2013 11:57:42
Norwich City have a agreed a fee with Wolves for their winger Bakary Sako at a price of £4.5m and have scheduled to meet with the player on Wednesday to discuss personal terms.

Note don't buy players from wolves leeds yes wolves never in a million

Who's left from leeds? we've taken their best - one of whom can't break into the first team, (although might now with the departure of Kamara) and we've given them our fringe (Morro and to a lesser extend Drury. )

Wouldn't mind signing Sam Byram.

10 May 2013 11:54:37

10 May 2013 11:35:33
Carlisle are targeting Sam Johnstone, Manchester United's young keeper. Greg Abbott is hoping to take Johnstone on a season long loan as cover for Mark Gillespie.

He would give Gillespie a run for his money both would not belong at league 1 level.

Sounds reasonable as Greg admitted he was in talks with a premier league goalkeeper earlier this week

Gilespie needs a bit of competition can't see anyone else who would realistically give him better competition

10 May 2013 11:31:40
Barry Corr has been released by Southend United and will be heading back to the south west to sign for Plymouth Argyle

Nonsense. For one you can't 'release' an out of contract player.

No he hasn't and no he is not

Corr more likely to be going to Middlesbrough they are looking for a 20 goal a year striker - could be swop deal for Bailey

Bailey has been released and anyway I really can't see Corr leaving

You can release a player from a contract

All lies corr is staying

Middlesbrough? I Would Much Rather Keep Corr Than Have Bailey Back Anyway! The Only Reason He (Bailey) Left Us In The First Place Was For Money.

Anyway, Phil Brown Has Said That Corr Is Part Of His Plans And Has No Intent To Release Him.

10 May 2013 11:30:35

Chris Beardsley is set to leave league one preston to join league two Hartlepool on a two year deal

I hope this rumour is true, works his socks off but he's just not good enough to push us up the league

If true pity hartlepool he is absolutely
garbage

Just been speaking to chris, this is true!

Good on him, just never could really find the back of the net for us and because of that he will be moving on but he is a work horse never stops running, Good luck to you at Hartlepool.

Hartlepool don't even have a manager so this is unlikely to be true.

They still have an owner to buy players.

Huddersfield Town to bring in Ebanks Blake to replace Bolton bound Beckford

Ebanks is out injured for six months, why would we sign someone who can't play until November then he has to get fit?

Bristol City are hoping to sign midfielder Stephen McPhail of Cardiff City and defender Alan Tate of Swansea.

Not unless they have both suddenly got a lot younger. 24 and under is the new policy, think before you make stuff up!

The Tate rumour is ancient

10 May 2013 10:29:04
Burnley looking to sign Dwight Gayle from Peterborough United after he had a prolific season for the relegated side

He will be too much but great player

Chairman has publicly stated £10mil + add ons, obviously its inflated but I think he has sent out a signal that it will take crazy money for Gayle to leave in the immediate future

He would go for less than £10m, but he will be a great player.

10 May 2013 10:52:01
Plymouth Argyle are looking to sign two wingers, a new centre mid and are also looking to bring in 2 more strikers.

Rene howe is one of the strikers

10 May 2013 10:27:44
Huddersfield outs:
Jack Hunt - swansea 3 million
joel lynch- barnsley 500k
oliver norwood- wolves 700k
lee novak- free transfer
Scott arfield, alan lee and tom clarke have all been released

ins:
John Stead - Bristol City free
Grant Mccann- Peterborough 250k
nacki wells- bradford 400k
james vaughan- norwich 2.5 million
niel danns- leicester 600k
kevin doyle- wolves 2 million

Oliver Norwood will stay, and we aren't even after Stead.

Lennon said a month ago he would be back in for Doyle in summer.

There is no way we will sign Stead in my opinion. This rumour appears every transfer window and each time Stead is not signed.

I hope that Vaughan signs for us and not Derby as that would be a great signing he has been magnificent.

Some not so bad signings there, Grant McCann fits Hoyle's criteria for someone who can delivery a set piece! Jon Stead. NOOO!! Others would be good, would need a new right back though as we'd only have Callum Woods.

DH has said this morning that Neil Danns is too expensive, wage wise.

Perleeease, drop the Stead stuff, he is not wanted at Huddersfield, not good enough and was on silly money, we have better players in our academy.

McCann is out of contract at Posh so why would you spend £250k on him?
Think he will be offered another deal at Posh

NO way in getting Wells for 400k, you are our rivals would at least have to pay 1 million for him

Novak has been told he can stay if he wants and will be offered a new 1 year contract, Hunt won't go to swansea and Norwood isn't worth 700k and won't go to league 1. As for the Ins, Vaughan will be about 1m - 1.5m not 2m, Jon Stead will never happen and Wells just isn't good enough for the championship

Grant McCann has been offered a new Posh contract

We don't even need Doyle, he is the same as Novak and Novak is better so let novak stay plz

Wells' release clause is £1mil if I remember correctly, but in no way are Huddersfield or any of the other Yorkshire teams your rivals unless you win at Wembley

On Danns, Dean Hoyle has said we can't afford a transfer fee plus his wages so its either not going to happen or a compromise from Leicester and the player will be required, more likely someone like Marlon Pack to come in, younger and better long term prospect.

Hands off Wells!

Bradford are two leagues below, not sure we would class them as rivals

Jon Stead would be alright down at Oakwell. Got the experience they need from a striker, plus better quality than Dagnall

Stead will not be returning to the Town. Check what Hoyle's brief was to Robins when he started - sign younger players with a strong future. Stead fits the bill on neither criteria. He will sign for a Yorkshire club but not the Terriers.

Grant mccann is out of contract so why would you pay for him

Jon stead wants too move back up here he's speaking to barnsley at min, joe lynch won't play for hudds agin herd telling mate on his phone only here for money person

McCann to Hudders? Remember the play-off final? Just saying, it would never happen.

10 May 2013 10:27:29
Burnley Boss Sean Dyche will sign Tom Heaton from Bristol City, Ben Amos from Manchester United as Dyche worked with Amos during his stint with the England Under 21's set up, and also will make a move for Nicky Bailey from Middlesbrough to fill the void in midfield as McCann looks to be on his way in the summer.

Other Possible ins :

Olejnik (Peterborough)
Camp (Norwich City)
Baptiste (Blackpool)
Baldock (Bristol City)
Harry Forrester (Brentford)

Also Martin Paterson in talks over a new contract as Dyche wants him to stay

Really can't see Olejnik leaving unless its silly money being offered

Forrester and baldock possibly, the others are on too big a contracts and we are in desperate need of trimming the wage bill. need to be self-sufficient and 12,000 fans a game isn't enough. need attractive football to bring the fans back.

^camp joined norwich on a 6 month contract for free in january, as cover for Bunn since Ruddy's injury.
he will be able to leave for free if norwich don't decide to extend.

Baptiste will have a choice of clubs from the championship and possible interest from the PL. He will probably go to a club in the midlands, where his family come from. He certainly won't end up at Burnley who won't be able to keep with others financially

Olejnik? Really? Not sure about that one!

Reading are interested in Motherwell winger Chris humphreys. Source: Reading post

10 May 2013 12:43:54
Good player, Lots of pace (Scarey) speed. Adkins could get the best out of him

Bring it on!

11 May 2013 13:13:44
noo get mackay-steven from dundee united instead, would be better then mcleary

If We could sign anyone from SPL it would have to b Billy McKay. Been brilliant and would suit Reading

10 May 2013 10:08:55
Oxford have made enquires about Bury's Matt Harrad and Stephen Schumacher.

Schumacher is joining Crawley on a two-year deal.

No such player as Matt Harrard. Shaun Harrard?

Shaun Harrad and Steven Schumacher

Doubt it. Wilder has said we're after a target man and a quick goal poacher.
Harrad is neither

10 May 2013 18:43:51
Name is Shaun Harrad has been on loan at Cheltenham

10 May 2013 09:43:31
Icelandic International Helgi Danielsson set to join fellow Icelander Kari Arnason in Rotherham in July. Current contract with Swedish giants AIK runs out in the summer and although a fan favourite the club have yet to offer an extension.

Arnason is at rotherham

Thats what it says if you read it

10 May 2013 09:35:44
Sheffield united interested in mendez-laing from Peterbourgh. there's talks of united signing crusat from wigan as he's not gaining much first team football. Who does marlon pack play for?

Packs contract at Cheltenham expires this summer and he has refused their offer.

They would be towe good signings and pack plays for Cheltenham Town

10 May 2013 09:40:14
Tranmere released right back Michael Kay is a target for numerous league two clubs including Torquay, Wycombe, Southend, York, Rochdale and Plymouth argyle trust me i'm a good friend of his but Michael has narrowed the clubs down to I believe Rochdale and York

10 May 2013 09:25:28
hull city set to sign kasper schmeichel for 3.8 million pounds from leicester city!

Don't think so mate he's happy at Leicester could be promoted with them

Kasper is one of the highest rated young keepers outside the prem. Real Madrid are supposed to be interested should he leave Leicester. can't see him going to Hull. especially not for £3.8m

10 May 2013 09:24:28
Charlton Athletic Ins and outs:

Ins:
Nicky Bailey (Middlesborough)
Jon Obika (Tottenham)
Lee Martin (Ipswich Town)
Ashley Barnes (Brighton)
Mark Hudson (Cardiff City)
Sam Baldock (Bristol City)
Albert Aldomah (Bristol City)
Bakory Sako (Wolves)

Outs:
BWP (Brentford)
Wagstaff (Colchester)
Fuller (Bournemouth)
Sullivan (Wimbledon)
Yado Mambo (Shrewbury)
Taylor (Oldham)
Stephens (Aston Villa)
Kerkar (Bristol City)

Sako more than likely will be heading to the lower end of the prem, so no chance for Charlton i'm afraid.

No chance on Adomah, Sako and Hudson.

Sako will leave but I would be shocked if Charlton can afford him when Villa &Norwich have already been sniffing.

Charlton Will Be a top 6 team next year, so they need to look for ambitious players

10 May 2013 13:17:43
Hudson won't leave Cardiff he just captined them into the prem

Don't want nicky Bailey back

No way will Hudson leave Cardiff!

Don't want nicky Bailey back

You can't guarantee your team will be in the top six next year. That's just arrogant and pompous, especially seeing as you've just come out of league 1.

Fuller to Bournemouthmouth? Please!
My sure name is Fuller :)

Ha WE will never be able to afford half of those players.

10 May 2013 19:54:08
Ricardo & his dodgy knees? Please? no Eddie Howe. We need a big strong frontman, bur RF is a bit too old & surely his medical record is against him? Maybe if he was 3/4 years younger, he'd be worth a years contract?

Barnes no way

Charlton are going to re-sign 3 ex-players? Ridiculous.

You can have martin, he is useless!

Also don't want Nicky Bailey back!

10 May 2013 09:26:20
More bad news for West ham as Sunderland have joined in the chase for Celtic striker Gary Hooper

10 May 2013 08:46:07
Ipswich Town in for Swedish keeper Kristoffer Nordfeldt. MM not happy with Scott Loach as his No 1. Nordfeldt is an ex-Under 21 international currently playing for Heerenveen in the Dutch League. Should cost about £1.5m

Loach is a true town fan and fans favourite. Any replacement better be good.

10 May 2013 08:25:48
Aleksandr Dragovic is linked with Fulham and Aston Villa, he would be available for roughly £5-6m.

The Whites are also interested in Alejandro Faurlin of QPR who has decided to move on after being out on loan for the majority of the last season.

Why would we pay that for a CB who will be on the bench because of Brede & Amorebieta? Fraulin was in our plans but Fulham have now turned their attention to Chantome of PSG & Guorcuff of Lyon. Bent is signing & so is Marin on loan from Chelsea. Stekeleburg, Xhaka and Huddlestone complete Fulham's transfer activity.
SD

Douglas, The Ayew bros, Bony, Gomis, Chadli are also rumoured with a move to Fulham.

"linked" is the key word there. Faurlin would be a good buy but I really don't expect us to sign him or, for that matter, Gourcuff, Marin or Bent. They're all old rumours getting rehashed by fans in an attempt to have some info.

Fulham don't give out much in terms of deals etc so most of the linked stuff will be rubbish. E. g. the Dragovic story.

Who is Xhaka and is he any good?

Dragovic has been on Moyes radar at everton all season so he may well end up at utd

10 May 2013 08:37:34
Matt Tubbs going home to Crawley on a season long loan with a view to making the deal permanent in the future.

Whats the latest on Beckford and is it true about Matt tubbs

10 May 2013 17:04:48
is it true

11 May 2013 15:41:00
Crawley still trying to sign beckford {Ed003's Note - I think he's off to Bolton.}

10 May 2013 07:41:44
Oldham's out of contract goalkeeper Dean Bouzanis, formerly Liverpool youth, is set to join Barnsley as number 2 to Luke Steele

Deano won;t be a number 2 so he won;t sign for you.

Plus he's not championship goalie either, passionate but has lots to learn.

No disrespect to Oldham but Barnsley are a bigger club and he'd learn a lot from being at Oakwell

He won't be at Oldham when his contract runs out, and I think he's likely to learn more from being a number one.

10 May 2013 06:09:14
Matt Green is turning down a very good offer to join Birmingham City to join Notts County, the Mansfield star believes a move closer to home and not such a leap in standard will help his progress better.

In the past he struggled in league football before finding form in non-league.

Also on County's radar are Aaron Mclean from Hull City and Rene Howe of Torquay United. Both have offers on the table and it is likely that Mclean will take the opportunity of first team football having been told by manager Bruce that his starting positions will be very limited in the Premiership.

Howe is unlikely to join the Magpies as he has a young family settled in the South West and it may prove to be too far to uproot.

Finally the East Midlands club have had an offer for goalkeeper Bartosz Bialkowski by Blackpool and Middlesborough, the former Saints shot stopper has re-established himself as a hot prospect this season and an offer may be too good for Notts County to turn down rumoured to be around the £350k + sell on mark.

More may come out of the club over the weekend about 2 further targets 1 a Left back who plays in the League 1 and a Midfielder whose side has just been relegated from the same division.

-SG-

I'm hoping the midfielder is 1 of Jimmy Ryan (scunny) Mark Duffy (scunny) or schuhmacher (Bury). And surely we need a right back rather than a left back as we don't have one?

You are correct, it is a right back. I miss read the email. I am not a Notts County supporter so wouldn't know what they "need" though. Just a part of scouting network. As far as their names, nothing has been mentioned so can't add to what's already their.

Ah fair enough, any of the moves looking like they will happen any time soon?

10 May 2013 05:57:41
Ive heard from a very reliable source, that Free agent Rene Howe is in talks with Oxford United today. He's already spoken to a couple of clubs, so expect him to make a decision next week.

10 May 2013 03:34:20
Charlie Allen, currently out of contract at Gillingham with a decision still to be made on a 1 year extension, is interesting Millwall. Allen is thought to be keen to move to a club away from his father, boss, Martin Allen, to end the accusations he is only picked as his dad is the manager.

The option for his second year was taken up in Easter so he's contracted for another season

Wrong. Charlie Allen has signed a conract extension with a view to an additional year

Wrong. Allen has signed the one year deal to stay at Gills that was triggered.

Charlie Allen has already signed for another year. this was done at Easter

The club used their right to activate the 1yr extention back at Easter. So where has this come from?

Facts are always best

10 May 2013 03:30:47
Barnsley caretaker flitcroft on way to millwall not got budget he needs at barnsley, don rowing not happy

Flitcroft already agreed new deal with Barnsley!

Hope this is not TRUE. barnsley need to act now.

Rowing betta get his finger out because I won't renew my season ticket if he goes and I no a lot more that won't he send this club down

Doubt that very much, somewhere we he has no funds at all, its obvious he is going to stay at barnsley and if he was to go anywhere it would be wolves were he is wanted!

Don Rowing does a good job at this that's why we are in the black, we are not a club that can pay millions for players you have to be realistic, its up to Flitcroft what he wants, we gavehim his chance and he should respect that

Not true, he has just signed at Barnsley

Really? i mean. really? signed contract today

Good news that he as sighed but why on a rolling contract should have just give him a 2year deal plus where as the John stones transfer money gone.

Still at the club

Don Rowing couldn't organise a pee up in a brewery the sooner he goes the better

09 May 2013 22:39:06
ed mate who do you think will
get the millwall job {Ed001's Note - I honestly don't know, they don't have much of a budget to give the new guy, that cuts down the options considerably.}

10 May 2013 01:19:38
Derby closing in on Alex Baptiste.

I think the artical in today's DET might be the clubs way of saying don't get your hopes up. ie we are going to be priced out. I think a few championship clubs are looking, and well as a couple of prem sides. Clough also said we face competion for Vaughan as well.

Clough said we are looking at other targets as well

It will be difficult on a budget of ten bob and a bent clurly wurly to bring in top championship players COYR

I truly hope we get him as he a strong, experienced centre-half and we have been struggling here all last season.
Many other teams after him though, but would be great to see him with Keogh.

Looks like we are going to miss out

I will be very sad to see Baps leave Pool. There is no way Oyston will even try and compete with other clubs to keep him with a new contract as he would have to take a pay cut.

He's not been half the player he once was but I think that may be down to the management merry-go-round at Pool.

10 May 2013 01:18:59
Matt Tubbs to return to Crawley on a season long loan deal.

Is it true he will

10 May 2013 01:18:38
Crawley Town manager Richie Barker wants to add Jacques Maghoma and Andy Drury to his midfield, as the Reds look to make an assault on the League 1 play-offs next season

What's the latest on Beckford

Maghoma has signed for Middlesbrough deal will be confirmed once transfer window opens

Beckford is in talks with Bolton

10 May 2013 15:15:11
