ed anymore news on wolves new manager im hearing paul ince will be offerd the job cheers {Ed001's Note - Ince is putting himself forward, but I am not aware of him being in the running at all. I was told it would be a currently employed Championship manager that is first choice. I believe it to be Holloway, but that is as much a gut feeling as anything else.}(7)(7)Won't be either Ince or Holloway -both are too outspoken for the boards likingPlease take InceAgree i just wish morgan/moxley would goIt will either be Sam Allardyce or Lee Clarke.Someone with contacts at wolves has told me we have an agreement with blues for hughton. I hope its true.

Reading want to bring home-sick Robbie Keane back to England this summer.

Royals also want Crystal Palace pair Zaha and Clyne.(7)(24)Most teams in the Championship would want those players! If he was homesick, surely he'd go to Ireland instead of London, no?

Peterborough striker Paul Taylor has revealed he rjected a new deal at London Road in order to talk to Reading over a possible free transfer in the summer.(3)(11)I'm not convinced that there is a great deal of interest in himWont be a free mate, he still has a year on his contract.Another person who is bored and does'nt have any football knowledge. He's still got a year left. Any chance of the bs
being cleared on here.

10 Apr 2012 18:58:13
Newcastle boss Alan Pardew is expected to add competition to his superb strikeforce in the summer by completing the signature of Anderlecht forward Matias Suarez on a pre contract deal in the coming days. The 23 year old was subject of a £17 million bid from Pardew last weekend and was accepted by the potential champions of Belgium.(4)(33)...17 million? what on earth....?Seems completely against Newcastles current spending behaviourPossible do u have a source

10 Apr 2012 18:55:05
Molde and former Manchester United legend Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is wanting to sign Birmingham's young goalkeeper Jack Butland in the summer. The Norwegian champions have already had a bid rejected for the England under 21 stopper but is expected to double his bid.
Southampton have already had a £2.5 million bid accepted for Butland, who is currently on loan at Cheltenham but manager Nigel Adkins is only going to pursue the deal if they win likely promotion to the Premier Legaue.
Also, Portuguese champions Porto have made contact over the 19 year old and are expected to make a £3 million bid for Butland.(12)(5)

Charlton looking to sign Morrison from Norwich if promoted.(5)(25)No Chance, Morison is happy at Norwich, Morison is in the first team - so why would he leave.Charlton will not be able to afford Morrison and even though we will be in the championship he's in the Prem at Norwich who are on the up and may even challenge for Europe next year - Stupid rumor.Charlton are quick off the mark when it comes to transfers but quite that quick.

10 Apr 2012 16:47:57
Blades fan here. Congrats for trophy win. Our keeper wants to stay, but fans don't want him and management checking out alternatives. Many of us would like your keeper, from what we have seen of him. Could offer Creswell, Collins, Simonson, or any striker other than Evans as a swap. Not sure if we have any cash though if you don't fancy any of those - depends if we go up.(0)(8)

10 Apr 2012 15:37:07
Martin Allen to take the hot seat at Burton Albion(1)(11)Do they have a hot seat?

10 Apr 2012 15:12:37
Jermain Defoe is looking likely to leave Spurs in the summer, as he wants to play as many games as he can. Many teams from the Premiership and high up in the Championship are looking at the England international. Teams such as, Stoke, Newcastle, West Brom, Everton, Leicester and Reading.(19)(8)He's better than all those teams bar newcastle...There is no way he would go to a championship team, or even a newly promoted team until they proved premier league capabilities. Newcastle is the only possibility I can see out of that list. Not a chance to NewcastleThe most possible of those lists are Reading as there not up north, he wants to stay south as do most players born south or foreign.Yeah 'cause newcastle are short of goal scoring strikers?? If he does leave spurs (and that's a BIG if) I can maybe see him moving to stoke, re-join Crouchy (proven partnership, especially with Palacios looking set to be a key player next season) and Stoke will be loosing 2 or 3 forwards in the summer so will be looking at signing in those areas. Can not see Harry letting him go (assuming he is still at WHL), what's more he is a London lad and never played outside of London.Defoe did play for Bournemouth albeit on loan. Incidentally his house is for sale and Stoke are the club most likely to sign him and tried to push a deal through in January. Harry apparently will let go in the Summer and has Ba and Remy on his shopping list (ironically two players who almost joined Stoke). Many said that Crouch wouldn't join Stoke. Pulis is a huge Defoe fan and just for the record check out the game v Spurs at WHL recently with the two of them walking off the pitch joking together. Stoke have the money of course as wellAnd Stoke play kick n rush football defoe would never go there trust me.Why trust you as you have proved in one sentence that you know NOTHING ?Portsmouth and bournemouth aren't in london so check your facts before you state something untrue

Peter Reid been approached by Bournemouth on the recommendation of Tony Pulis

Kenywne Jones a surprise target for a return to Sunderland as Stoke are keen on Gardiner

Andy Wilkinson wanted by Wolves as Stoke want Jarvis and Johnson in the Summer

Huth looks set to leave the Britannia as does Upson for China and Sorensen to Germany or Turkey.
Plenty of fringe players to join them.

Two Ajax players interesting the Potters

One big big name is Stoke's Summer transfer target. A well known international who almost joined on loan during Pulis' first stint.(11)(5)Peter reid hasent been approached by bournemouth if he has how do you knowHow do you know peter reid has been approached by bournemouthSorry but you know for a fact that he hasn't do you? Of course you don't so why say so?

Peter Reid is one of 4 or 5 potential managers that Bournemouth have asked about and YES I do know for sure.

I posted on here that Reid was leaving Thailand to join Stoke previously to give you a bit of a heads up. Still, you know better eh. {Ed003's Note -Hi guys bournemouth fan here do you have any ideas of who eles we have asked about apart from reid who i think will be greatNo way Huth is leaving Stoke. Since joining Stoke Huth is the highest scoring defender in the EPL, he loves those set pieces. How do you know Huth isn't leaving Stoke? He hasn't signed a new contract, explain that?............he's massively thought of I agree but his family is the issue. Guessing isn't going to make him stay. As for Bournemouth I heard are 5 in the running and O'Driscoll was favourite but seems to be stalling hence them looking elsewhere.I would imagine the bournemouth managers job is paul groves to lose.heard to ex premier managers been linked guess one is phil brown.rather have mick mccarthy.

10 Apr 2012 14:36:38

10 Apr 2012 14:35:51

10 Apr 2012 13:56:04
walsall goalkeeper jimmy walker is set to retire at the end of the season and take the goalkeeping job off longserving walsall goalkeeper and coach mick kearns(11)(5)

10 Apr 2012 13:55:50
Highly rated Doncaster winger Kyle Bennett could join brother Elliot at Norwich next season(18)(9)This is deffo

10 Apr 2012 13:25:38
French left back timothee kolodziejczak, who's contract expires in the summer is being looked at by a number of clubs including ipswich, brighton and charlton.(7)(5)With nine appearances in the past four years he'd be a bit of a gamble for anyone one taking him, cant see it!

10 Apr 2012 13:25:11
Lee Clarke will takeover at Doncaster at the end of the season, IF Dean Saunders is sacked(19)(19)

10 Apr 2012 13:18:31
Sunderland will not be signing bendtner permanently, and will be losing stephane sessegnon and craig gardner. Martin O'neill is thought to have an interest in sebastian giovinco, adam johnson and steven fletcher - also, PSG have an interest in demba ba, who no longer seems to be the main man on tyneside(5)(5)I heard last night that O'Neill is interested in taking Kenwyne Jones back to Sunderland. He is a MO'N type of player to be fair and did want him at Villa despite what many Sunderland fans may think of the playerI think you are correct with bendtner, but sess and gardner will not be moving anywhere. sess has already said he is happy and MON has also echoed this.

as for ba, i don't know, not a mag so...

10 Apr 2012 12:54:11
who is going to be the next Bournemouth manager, anyone got an ideas? id like someone with experience, alan curbishley lee clark someone who has been there with a bit of knowledge

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Curbishley, no chance.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Curbs and Clark wont go to League one. Clarke would possibly return at a push to a League one side but if he did it'll be someone like a relagated Championship team.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Phil brown

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Curbishley wont drop to L1 you have to be dreaming and for a start would anyone want to work with Mitchell your dodgy chairman and a russian no ones knows anything about who is probably as dodgy as Mitchell the expert on liquidating his companies.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I've heard that Sean O'Driscoll is favourite.....and is the bookies favourite

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Curbishly is becoming a George Graham....linked to every job but never taking one. Soon he'll be so out of touch that clubs won't bother asking.

-------------------------------------

I've heard a lot about Carl Fletcher joining Bournemouth at the end of the season. Would be great to have Lil Fletch back at the club

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Graham Westley will be a good choice for you!!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mourinho was spotted on the prom and capello was seen in the local italian ice cream shop #justsaying

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bournemouth fans are really in cuckoo land you have no chance of Curbishley you are too small a club for him. He just turned down a premier league team so little old Bournemouth sorry more likely your old manager who is a good manager.

Your all obssesed with the fact you have this russian guy and you can get anyone in to your club but with all due respect you will never be a big club you have a samll fan base, small ground and poor attendances and a dodgy Chairman.

-------------------------------------

Paul Groves will probably get the job. He's impressed in his first 4 games and there is a close friendship between him, Shaun Brookes and chairman Eddie Mitchell(5)(2)

Its ppl like you that give Leicester fans a bad name on ere with your bullst predictions! Yes we have a good chance of making the playoffs if we beat Millwall ( which if we play like we did against ipswich we will ) but i doubt 4-1 thats a tad optimistic, but we put ourselves in with a chance & straight away your talking of WINNING the playoffs, have you been watching the same team as me this year coz if you have then you would realise its very unlikley

LeicesterLadNo way wouldjack Hobbs be rejoining Grumpy pearson.Matt mills??Heskey- Can trap a ball further than most can kick it

10 Apr 2012 10:46:41
Notts County are looking at signing anew goalkeeper for next season as al three goalkeepers at the club are out of contract. They are looking at signing slocombe from Scunthorpe, Lee from Chesterfield or smith from forest with the in demand german goalkeeper Fabian Speiss as second choice.(3)(6)

10 Apr 2012 10:15:55
Peterborough united striker Paul Taylor is a target for WBA. Roy Hodgson was in attendance at London Road during the posh's victory over Leicester last week(5)(6)Nowhere near good enough for the PLHe was probably looking at Joe Lewis or George BoydI saw Taylor play v forest on Monday, he's a good player who always wants the ball, but I can't c him cutting it in the prem. He was miles better than Boyd who looked like he was going thru the motions.

10 Apr 2012 06:45:15
With many players out of contract at Meadow Lane, Notts County will make sweeping changes for next year, in bid to go up (assuming they don't go through the play offs this time)

Ins include
Lee Barnard
David Button
Lloyd Sam
Conor Doyle
Paul Green
Paul McShane(3)(14)Paul Green's signing a new contract at Derby, you can have Conor Doyle thoughI'm sure some of these players are targets, however there is one small problem, none of them will accept bottle tops as wages.Lloyd Sam is already there, how can he be an addition?I'm assuming it means Lloyd Sam permanently as he is only on loan at the moment?

10 Apr 2012 03:07:12
Town to sign prolific truro striker stewart yetton and port vale striker marc richards at the end of the season {Ed002's Note - It might be better if you said which "Town".}(2)(5)I did not post this rumour but I suspect it refers to Shrewsbury Town who have already tried to sign Richards - it will be easier when he can be tempted with League 1 football next year. Not sure if any Port Vale players would make the Nantwich Town squad

10 Apr 2012 02:19:08
Burnley Football Club are hot on the heals of Peterborough star George Boyd who is on the Transfer List after rejecting a new deal at London Road. Jay Rodriguez is looking likely to leave Turf Moor in the summer window as Stoke, Southampton and Newcastle have shown major interest. If Jay leaves Turf Moor, Burnley will use the money to sign George Boyd, Josh McQuoid, Tom Soares and Craig Dawson. Burnley are expecting Rodriguez to leave for around £6m -7.5m and the transfers of George Boyd, Josh McQuoid, Tom Soares and Craig Dawson will come to around £5m.(12)(3)You got no chance of signing craig dawson

10 Apr 2012 01:04:32
spurs are set to lose a host of big names in the summer even if they clinch forth place with players such as bale, luka modric, defoe, walker, lennon all set to leave with a number of big clubs believed to be interested in each one of the talented spurs stars even with the vast amount of money set to be received there would be no chance of spurs being able to replace all that class in one transfer window and with boss rednapp also set to leave worrying signs for spurs they better pray to finish in the top 4(13)(20)What a load of nonsense, back to school! What twaddle no intel on this

Defoe may go as he just does not get enough games. Cannot blame him

Addy may go due to wage demands

Bale may go for the right price

Modric will only go for silly money

BarryAll the important players are tied to long contracts and as Chelsea discovered Levy will hold players to their contracts if he wants to keep them
No need to worry, Ade was always a loan and will not get the money he wants Defoe could well move to get regular playing time but Spurs already have targetted a couple of quality strikers for summerEven if you finish in the top 4, it doesnt make you one of the the big 4!
Ha ha lol

10 Apr 2012 01:00:21
Leicester sent scouts to watch Nick Powell on Monday but are unlikely to sign him as they face competition from Chelsea, Arsenal, Man City and Liverpool.(12)(6)I would love to know what they put in the water in Leicester, thinking they are on par with top six prem sides lol you lot are so funny. Your not even the biggest side in the east midlands proper funnyLeicester fans have always been like it. Even in League One they were the best thing since sliced bread!Must b a forest fan then.... ttWhy would a Forest fan take the time to do that, they don't care about LeicesterPlease enlighten me who is the biggest club in the east midlands coz it certainly aint derby OR forest they have been ste for years, you cant keep thinking there big clubs just on what they have achieved in the past

LeicesterLadWhat have derby achieved in the last few years apart from dissapointment, does 10 points ring a bell?

10 Apr 2012 00:27:40
Stoke are interested in Ajax defender Tobias Alderweireld to replace Robert Huth who is set to leave the club in the Summer after refusing to sign a new contract. Huth has been linked with a move back to his native Germany for some months(13)(6)

09 Apr 2012 14:54:58
Jan Vertonghen (Ajax) looks definite to be leaving Ajax this summer with lots of big European clubs chasing him such as Arsenal, Tottenham, Liverpool and even Italian giants Juventus whom are all looking to strenghten their defences for the upcoming 2012-13 season. Arsenal are in poll position to nailing the tough tackling Belgian defender who could be pairing up with former Ajax defender Thomas Vermaelen at the Emirates. This valued price tag on Vertonghen is to be around £7-£10 million.(18)(4)How can you class Liverpool as a european giant? Past glories maybe? They are miles away from Arsenal and SpursAnd Newcastle and ChelseaThey can kind of be called a big club (past glories), but I get where you're coming from. They've been horrific in recent years.

He is a pretty good defender. Lot's of clubs are chasing him.

09 Apr 2012 14:43:13
Reading have sent their chief scout to Ipswich this afternoon. They are looking at Aaron Cresswell as an alternative to Ian Harte if they are in the Premier League next season.(23)(9)Hands off pleaseIf they were at Ipswich I would think Martin would be a more likely target.Arron Cresswell is Ipswich's solid left back, if he does leave it will cost Reading a fair packet in transfer fee's, PJ aint looking to sell, we are building for next season

According to the Mirror Southampton are considering buying Doyle from Wolves.

As a Saints fan, I like to think we have a bit more ambition and creativity than making this signing.

Thankfully it is in the mirror so probably absolute BS. No disrespect to Doyle, he is solid but has never really been more than just an 'ok' striker.(17)(8)Bit like your club then chap !Who the hell do you think you are you aint even been promoted and you say doyle aint good enough for ya.s get a grip mate.To the second post. umm what position are your team in lol you idiot. were southampton and were top of the league!!Doyle should go to Reading.Way to good for Southampton.Your right it is BS.He may be just what you need, knows what it takes to scrap at the foot of the league and survive for a few seasons. Bryher PilgrimDont think he will go to saints as he ,s had enough of playing for whipping boy,s,as you lot will find out if you do get promoted.I'd consider this unlikely, he is in a vaguely similar mould to Billy Sharp and Tadanari Lee who we brought in in January. It would be foolish to bring in another who plays a similar way. Also everyone knows how adkins likes to do his deals behind closed doors, so any rumours are likely just rumoursIgnore previous comment, i got him confused with someone else. He is different to those two, however used to playing a different system to what Southampton useThis is the 2nd post we are reading and on friday we.ll see who the person is.Tbh im not a wolves fan, but doyle is too good for saints.

if it wasnt for the fact wolvles have ruined him he could get in any side in the prem par the top 6...

he should have signed for everton when he had the chanceHe would score more than lambert in the premNo offence mate but you're starting to sound like the Norwich fans on here who seem to think that no-one is good enough for them. Doyle would be a massive coup for Soton.Kevin Doyle will NEVER go to a team like southampton, you'll just buy players that are useless like that fat billy sharp!Hi. I wrote this original post. Just to clarify:

I do think Doyle is decent but Saints tend to be a bit more creative and ambitious when making signings than just signing 'safe bets'. I think Doyle would be solid and a safe signing, but if you look at types we buy they tend to be less well know and a bit more exotic (e.g. tadanari lee, steve de ridder etc) with the exception of Billy Sharp who was a rush buy to fill the gap incase lambert or lee were injured.

As I said: Doyle is a decent player but based on Southampton's previous signings they tend to be a bit more ambitious and adventurous rather than signing an 'ok' (by premier league standards) current prem player. Don't think we are 'too good' for doyle, I think we look for different players, that is all.Arrogence and Saints fans go hand in hand on this site who would you prefer Messi as he would love to play for youSaints fans show as much Arrogence as any other fan on here, this is a banter site if you dont like it then dont read it, as one of the comment said allready Adkins does all his buisness behined closed doors so this is just a stupid rumour.

What you got to rememer is at the begining of the season people on here said we would be relagated, half way through we would not keep the pace we set up, at Xmas our bubble would burst, yet we have 5 games left, top of the league. I think we have every right to shove it in some of your faces dont you. However most of us Saints fans no there is still 5 games left and know we have not been promoted yet, we are just taking one game at a time.Totally agree, mate. Arrogence (sic) on this site means 'we hate your successful club proving us wrong'. Oh and we don't need Messi cos we've got Lallana (watch 'em bite). {Ed025's Note - people dont hate you because you are successful mate...its because some of your fans are getting ideas above their station!..they are very nasty towards other fans, especially pompey, and as has been said before...nobody likes a smart arse!..if you show some humility and respect towards others, you just might just get some respect back..Sorry Ed025 i will show no respect to Pompey fans after the way they gloated and gave us a hard time when we were in trouble, they showed us no respect what so ever, they were praying that we went out of buisness. as for being nasty towards other fans, i thought it was a Banter site Ed025 thats all it is, its just banter. Fans do hate a sccessful club and call arrogence if you like this season for a change we have been successful so why shouldn't we be full of our selves. {Ed003's Note - I dont hate successful clubs nor do I hate my rivals,I dislike them and enjoy when things are not going right for them..but hate?? over a game ?? }I Couldn't agree more Ed025 i personally dont hate Pompey fans nor there club and Saturday was a brilliant atmosphere which is why i dont want to see Pompey go out of buisness but what anoys me about people on this site is that Saints fans get slated for giving Skates a hard time yet trust me if the tables were turnt they would be doing the same to us, have to wonder if we would be getting the same sympathetic backing the Sates seem to get. {Ed003's Note - On here you would,Oh, I'm Ed 003 btw ;-) }Ed025 : I said 'proving us wrong' and we have and that's what people hate/dislike (semantics). As the post above mine says, people have been writing us off ALL season. If we finish 3rd or even 4th it will be a successful season for us (humble enough for you). On the current banter page there are 2 posts initiated by Pompey fans with Saints responding. Is that a crime? Oh and if someone wants to make a smart arse comment about Messi, i will give a smart arse response.Children please behave!Banter is a word used by upstarts to justify acting like a d#@k

Personally wish Saints well should they get promoted but a small section of their fans who post on here will be intolerable on here should they do so.

Richard Dunne has fallen out of favor at villa and could move elsewhere

Im not sure a bout this on but something tells me ji sung park might not be a united player next season(16)(9)Richard dunne is injured not out of favour.Don't know about the others, but, megready has already held talks with everton.

09 Apr 2012 13:11:07
Macclesfield are set to lose 3 key players at the end of the season even if the Silkmen stay up as other clubs have been scouting their players.
Arnaud Mendy is wanted by Walsall
Dwayne Mattis is wanted by Torquay
Ben Tomlinson is wanted by Plymouth and Burton Albion(5)(3)I dont think they will leave on there first season mate. They will if they get relegated!!All in 1st season, not a chance. By the looks of it though, we're goin to be relegated, so they will leave, but not to those teams.

Source: I'm a Macclesfield supporter.

09 Apr 2012 12:49:27

Stoke City
Ins
Jarvis - Wolves - Full Transfer
A deal has already been made and
accepted but cannot be a comfirmed
signing until wolves are comfirmed
Relegated.

Lukaku - Chelsea - Season Loan
Stoke almost loaned the young Belgain
striker at the start of the season
but was canceled because of the
club's rule.

Stoke City
Outs
Woodgate - ? - Full Transfer
Woodgate could be a free agent if he
cannot complete his clause with the
club that is to play 3 more games until
the end of the season.

Upson - Many Clubs - Full Transfer
Struggling to get much first team
football at Stoke City and would
prefer to move. Southampton and
norwich remain favourates.

Tonge - Championship - Full Transfer
Not in first team plans, Championship
likey.

Soares - Championship - Full Transfer
Not in first team plans, Championship
or Hibernian likely.

Jones - Many Clubs - Full Transfer
Struggling to get first team football
at Stoke City lots of English and
over seas sides interested in signing
the Trinidad & Tobago International
Striker. This remains the most likley
transfer selling for Stoke.(14)(7)A deal hasn't been struck with Jarvis although Stoke looks a likely destination for him. Intersting that someone mentions Joe Cole to QPR as Stoke are very keen and nearly took him on loan previouslyUpson to Norwich? Dream on.
No room for aging old hacks and has-beens at Carrow Road and certainly not Stoke rejects.
Bennett, Ayala, Whitbread and Ward will be our four first team options in CD next season, plus R Martin as cover there.Jarvis will be at Everton next season....defo!I agree with last post, Lambert is not looking for players like Upson, the wrong side of 32, more likely if he signs another centre back it will be a top young defender that he can further improve under his coaching team.
Ryan Bennett (England U21) who we recently signed from Peterborough for £3M has been amazing since he made the first team and is destined to gain full England honours if he continues to improve, he already looks a real talent. We will have higgnbottom plz he's classUpson has offers from China and the USA on the table and doubt he'd turn them down for Norwich who I doubt could afford him anyway or he'd even consider them.Clearly you know nothing about him, Upson is actually a Norfolk boy, and would love to play for his home county team, as for Norwich being able to afford him, are u having a laugh, his resale value is likely less than 1M, its irrelevant anyway because Norwich are not looking to sign players with no sell on value, and if he's so good why can't he get in the Stoke team, way past his best and destined for foreign adventures because they are the only clubs who will pay large money for 32 yr old's these days.
I was surprised Stoke signed him because he has been on the decline for a couple of seasons. Doubt any other premier league club will take him on next season.......I love it when people say a player would love this and that as if they know him personally :-) By the way, Stoke turned down an offer from Everton in January so what were you saying about knowing nothing and no other Prem club wanting him again? If a deal cannot be made for piener, jarvis will go to evertonI think the Norwich fan failed to grasp the fact that they couldn't probably afford Upson's wages and despite his love off all things in the area (lol) they have to actually pay the fella. Nothing to do with re-sale values etc. Bigger clubs want him anyway so academic.Dear oh dear, despite Norwich fans clearly explaining the reasons why Upson won't be getting his pension at Carrow Road, there are still those saying why the club can't or won't get him.

Listen. He's too old. Too expensive. And a Stoke reserve. And if Stoke are paying him so much money that Norwich couldn't afford to match it, then more fool Stoke. Rather a well ran club with sensible financial management than one that pays OTT wages to has beens they are now desperate to get off the wage bill.

Upson, like Robert Green, can love the area all he likes, but he isn't going back there to play football, now or ever. You obviously know NOTHING about Stoke and their finances. Stoke are one of the best run clubs in the country, completely solvent and brought in the likes of Upson and Woodgate on short contracts with Europe in mind. 4 seasons already comfortably in the Prem and that is something that despite getting carried away with already, Norwich in their current state can only dream about. One good season doesn't mean improvement next year etc. by not bringing in quality. Upson like I said has bigger fish to worry about than you lot.Di Matteo is a big fan of Lukaku, and will tell next season's manager not to sell

Pompey fans to buy Pompey the supporters trust say they've had loads of fans putting in round about £1000 and a few people have put a £5000 to 1 million(3)(25)What's that, air miles?Portsmouth shouldnt be allowed to exist.
Strip them of the FA Cup - they cheated to win it.
And liquidate the club09 Apr 2012 14:09:51
Wish you luck, but think its a bit optimistic at the moment according to this..

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17598239HAHA

This is tragic. No one from pompey could afford £1,000, let alone £5,000. If they had that kind of money lying around they wouldn't be living in a hole like Portsmouth! It is this sort of financial ignorance that typifies this "club".
There is not a large support base for Pompey and it is not a wealthy area. Even so, if the supporters raised the £8m they think is needed how on earth would this amount of money finance a club, even if it was in League One?

There are no assets whatsoever and I fear the gullible supporters are being asked to part with money that will disappear as all the creditors money has over recent years.
Statistically, Portsmouth is an area with poor educational achievement but even so, do get real!CAFC Fan - just wishing you well

Lukaku - Chelsea - Season Loan
Stoke City were close into loaning the
young Belgian striker at the start of
the season but was canceled because
of the club's rule.

Transfer Outs
Sorenson - Many Clubs - Full Transfer
The Denmark goalkeeper may stay if
he can make the first team

Upson - Many Clubs - Full Transfer
Southampton and Norwich City remain
favourates to sign the ex- England
International, some how to save his
'Stoke Nightmare'

Woodgate - ? - Full Transfer
Woodgate may be a freeagent at the
end of the season unless he reaches
his clause where he will need to play 3
more matches for the club

Tonge - Champioship - Full Transfer
Not in first team plans

Soares - Championship - Full Transfer
Not in first team plans(6)(11)Sorry but Stoke are getting worse & worse. Dream on!Soars might go to hibsIf you think Wolves will let you have Jarvis for 5 or 6 million then you must be deluded.Moxey does all transfer dealings.we dont need to sell and Jarvis as recently played for England.good luck thou : )As someone who knows the dealings at Stoke rather than guesses like yourself-Wolves will let Jarvis go it seems and Stoke seems his destination. I think Stoke fans are aware who Moxey is by the way and what he does :-) I think you're deluded if you think you'll keep your top players when you go down. Thanks for the 6 points.....As I previously commented on someone else's status, we are Championship bound and have to accept that some players will go and Jarvis to Stoke seems a reasonable transfer, especially if we could get £5m plus a fringe player, we have to be realistic.Very true Wolves fan and Pulis did try to sign Jarvis before but his friend at Gills, Scally was adamant he wouldn't do business with Pulis. Wolves will be in a decent financial state and be able to build after relegation and with the right appointment will come back. Obviously some players will be sold.

Glenn Roeder tipped to be the man in the driving seat for the Bournemouth job. Not been a great success elsewhere though has he. It definitely won't be O'Driscoll(5)(4)He's Chief scout at VillaWere rumours of an ex Stoke player in the frame as recommended by Pulis. Someone suggested Matteo who Pulis kept on at Stoke and gave some coaching too during the promotion era.Poor old bournemouth a jellyfish has got more backbone than glen roeder

Mourinho to be man city manager next year as he has had enough of politics at Madrid. He wants to renew his rivalry with Ferguson and feels he can produce an all conquering team with city's millions to become the long term master of football.(15)(37)Interesting that you are so close to him that you know what he feels etc..............wishful thinking more like itJust what the clowns in light blue need.....another over inflated ego. Another title for united next year.Mourhinho biding his time for the ManU job, after Madrid where bigger can he go? not Barca or AC. Am sure he will know that he can never manage Utd having managed City which will mean he cn never include the biggest club of all on his CV.No way will he be comming to England, Spain have a much better league now.

08 Apr 2012 16:41:02
Paolo di Canio to be new Brighton boss if Poyet moves on in the summer. West Ham said to be interested in Gus, Villa too have sounded out the Uryquian.(14)(30)

Reading are in advances discussions with Aston Villa over the signing of midfielder Fabian Delph.

Reading have also agreed a fee for Huddersfield striker Jordan Rhodes who will join the promotion hopefuls if Huddersfield fail to win the play-offs this season.(9)(35)Heard this other day aswell and think it would happen even IF we (hudds) went up, would like to think that would pave the way for morrison to sign full time..... dont know how highly thought of he is at yours? That means hell b movingDelph isn't gonna go Villa want him to stayVilla would only ever loan out Delph & with a lacking team already , we can't lose him considering he cost us £8mHe is going to Norwich!!Delph could be a loan, we were linked with him before. McDermott is a long term admirer of Rhodes, scouted him 4/5 times. With Zingarevich in we'll be looking for a couple of marquee signings. Money isn't exactly a problem. Why would Huddersfield agree a fee without all interested bidders invlolved? That sounds like wishfull thinking to me.

Nottingham forest takeover to be completed by the end of this month, with j p McManus the favourite to buy the club.

Could be exciting times ahead at the banks of the trent(11)(15)Total rubbish, Forest are preparing for liquidation due to no saleable assets.
A consortium of Forest fans are trying to buy the club. Most likely outcome of the being fc Forest.Or on the other hand after yesterday it could mean league trips to Torquay!Forest have no chance of liquidation, you pathetic derby fan.
Isn't it about time you lot get over your jealousy of us and tried staying to your own rumours, rather than making rubbish up about your bigger, more successful and better known neighbours?I read the first reply and thought it was a derby fan, but the spelling was very good;)There is not Forest takeover as the club is has not been put back on the market due to Nigel Doughty's will being sorted out and the payments from it to the club.
Forest will need to sell next season anyway to get the club finances back in the black to interest anyone in buying, the club is losing money hand over fist in player wages.

After Jack Wilshere suffers another set back, Arsenal will bid £5m for Clint Dempsey.(14)(18)They can bid £5million but we at fulham will just laugh at themSurely hes got to be worth more than thatNot a Fulham or Arsenal fan but he is worth at least £15mWorth more than 5 Million5 million for Dempsey? Why not bid 25 quid for Rooney while they're at it?Not only is Dempsey worth more then that, but what does Wilsheres injury have to do with them buying a striker.10 mil for demps -

Tottenham have been keeping watch on Stevenage Youth team player, Spencer McCall, after good scouting reports before the two teams met in the Youth Cup this season.
Spurs are apparently looking to sign the midfielder on a 2 year deal. One to finish his scholarship and one year pro.(4)(2)

08 Apr 2012 12:35:50
Arsenal to sign: Podolski, Holtby, Vertonghen, M'Vila and Sunzu(16)(14)How ever wrote this sh.. is so clueless. Holtby will never ever sign. Not even a slight mention in germans press about it. Sunzu is talking up a move to get a club!!

A few Stoke rumours from hospitality last night.

Jarvis very likely to be a Stoke player and possibly Roger Johnson.

Stoke have two household names on the radar- one a striker is in advanced negotiations. Both from London clubs.

Warnock at Villa almost joined in Jan and Stoke still interested.

A fair few outs in the Summer including Jones,Fuller Sorensen and maybe Etherington plus a few fringe players.(9)(13)I will personally bring Johnson. You really do not want that man.I would turn up drunk if I played for Wolves. Pulis can get the best out of playersYou are very welcome to Warnock!
Eric Lichaj is x200 betterStoke have a very good chance of signing Jarvis and it would be a good buy for them, but Johnson wouldn't get in your team, you already have Shawcross, Huth, Woodgate and Upson who are better centre halves although you may be able to get him at a cut-price fee with the trouble he's caused this season.

08 Apr 2012 10:17:32
Paolo di canio has already started writing his summer shopping list as the club are almost assured of league one football next year, he wants a minimum of 5 players to bolster his squad from this season players he is keen on are: Jamal Fyfield (York City), Marlon Pack (Cheltenham), Harrison Chatting, Jack Midson (AFC Wimbledon), Adebayo Akinfenwa (Northampton), Billy Paynter (Leeds), Paul Mooney (Rhyl), Medy Elito (Dagenham) along with the expected transfers of Jay McEveley and Lee Holmes at the end of the season. A lot will depend on how he sees the future of our out of contract players who are, Callum Kennedy, Nathan Thompson, Mark Scott, Abdul Said, Lander Gabilondo, Phil Smith and Billy Bodin, and if we can release out of favour players such as Mattia Lanzano, Etienne Esajas, Lee Cox and Mehdi Kerrouche, also how he sees the future of Lukas Magera when his loan finishes. Also anticipate a few surprise departures in true paolo style noone knows what to expect !(4)(15)

08 Apr 2012 08:37:28
Norwich to sign: Chris Gunter, Gareth Mcleary, Mackail-Smith, Michael Kightly and George Boyd(6)(39)Where did you hear this north Norfolk digital? (north norfolks best music mix)Mackail-Smith is nowhere near Prem standard. On Alan Partridges radio show I suspect. At least when you post rumours make them believable.
Mackail smith and Boyd not good enough for premier and certainly not good enough for Lambert's ambitions for next season.Ambitions ? surely there only aim is to stay in premiership and nothing elseNorwich's ambition next season goes beyond just staying in Premier league, they want to push on and become an established Premier club and with Lambert in charge he will target a top 10 finish next year, with a shout to get into the Europa League within a couple of seasons.
The Board also want to increase capacity to 35,000 within 3 years providing they stay in Premier league, currently sold out every week, club has a 21,000 cap on season ticket holders because they must keep some tickets for general sale, and also provide required tickets to away team and with approx 2,000 presently on waiting list for season tickets they are confident of filling the extra seats, while increasing the revenue to provide more funds for players squad.
Hell if we play like we did today against Tottenham, we coulod even get a top 10 finish this year.Europe :-) I think some are getting a bit carried away. Great first season but let's see what next term brings.............survival should be a priority let's get real. Think Norwich are becoming the new delusional fans of the Prem by a long shot.Gunter - No thanks, Mcleary - Yes please, Mackail-Smith - Not good enough for what we will be looking at (missed his chance last year), Kightly - Too many injuries maybe, cannot afford a sick note (good player though), Boyd - Championship standard at best.

08 Apr 2012 01:06:34
Stuart Beavon and Emmanuel Ledesma will join Doncaster in the summer, as they look to make a immediate return to The Championship(5)(16)Beavon to join Yeovil if Wycombe go down.

08 Apr 2012 00:57:39
Chris Martin, Simon Lappin, Aaron Wilbraham, Andrew Crofts and Leon Barnett all told they can leave Norwich in the summer. Ward and Whitbread will be staying however.(9)(14)Also add Drury, he will be released when his contract expires

08 Apr 2012 00:54:04
Norwich are to sign Naughton (Spurs) and Bertrand (Chelseas) in the summer for around 3.5m each.
My source works as a scout for a premier league side and confirmed these this weekend(12)(30)Naughton a class act would interest a number of clubs. Bertrand who has been on loan to NCFC a couple of times not worth £3.5m looks limited which is why yesterday 1st PL start. When leicester wanted naughton, tottenhsm wanted 10mI doubt Spurs would sell Naughton, we might get him for another year's loan though.Naughton holds the cards now. With 1 year left on his contract a years loan would not be favourable to Tottenham without him agreeing to an extension first. Either they sell him this season or lose him for nothing the following as i cant see Naughton being happy sitting on the bench behind Walker for his whole career.

If he wants to sign for Norwich it will happen 3.5-4 mil sounds about right.

07 Apr 2012 23:19:37
