Have heard that members of rock band Def Leppard are considering investing in hometown club Sheffield Wednesday.

Chairman Lee Strafford is delighted at this prospect, and has said that the hysteria from this speculation may mean that the club will not be high and dry financially, and that their investment can be a rock of ages instead of bringing on the heartbreak.

It's not known how the players will respond, but as long as they play like animals the Kop will rock, rock until it drops!

Celtic will spend £6million in January to sign players, budget upped since scotlands uefa co–efficiant dropped after belguim overtook scotland. Celtic will try to muscle out rangers for the next few years to snatch back champions league money.

Milan Mandaric, Chairman of Leicester City has been in contact with Sol Campbel's Agent trying to set up a meeting this weekend. Although Sol does not initially seem keen on the idea, Mandaric has been concerned about the recent frailties in defence is desperate to bring him in and feels he can put together the same attaractive package that caught Edgar Davids attention a few weeks ago. He will offer him 40k a week until the end of the season as well as a sizeable bonus and further 12 months should they get promoted.

Watch out for Grant Holt & Wes Hoolahan to join Sheffield United in straight swap for Billy Sharp. I've a close friend who works at Carrow Road and is adamant this deal will happen. You heard it here first.

It would be nice if Wenger was to sign Adriano, avilable for free it would be great if it was pulled off.Arsene should try to get Melo as hes struggling at Juventus, Arsene should try to get him on a pre contract for a fee of £15 million so he can join in summer, he is a top player just that staying in Italy was a negative move as his style is suited to the power of premier league.Arsene will move for Hazard for 6–8 million.Bringing Sol in on a free would be good added experience and back up to Gallas & Vermaelen.

Hearts, Plymouth and Preston have entered the race to sign Modrica stiker Dusko Stajic. The Bosnian striker has already caught the attention of SPL trio Falkirk, Hamilton and St Mirren.

I heard that rangers are signing klaas jan huntelaar on loan in january as part of a deal to take bougherra to milan.

Wigan will be looking to reinforce the squad come January. Look out for these deals coming in.

Matt Frayatt from Leicester £3.5 mill
Jonathan Woodgate on a 2 year deal
Charlie Adam from Blackpool £2 mill
James Beatie for £4 mill

Simon

Mark robins first full signing for barnsley will be ivory coast international centre half steve goufouri from borrusia moenchengladbach deal done more signings to follow in january robins will have a sizeable budget in both january and the summer

Arsenal to sign Adriano and Sol Campbell in January!

Rangers will sell up and the current owners will move out. Dan Petrescu will be installed as the Manager with Smith, McCoist and McDowall heading to Scotland. This could happen anytime between now and the summer. Dead wood will be shipped away from Ibrox and Petrescu will add strong players to the side, he is familiar to using small budgets and getting the bast from players. A name which I've heard may be back is Filip Sebo. The Slovak is desperate for another shot in the SPL and prove he isn't a dud. Expect to see many going out but the Ex Chelsea man will fill the squad with Scottish and Foreign prospects who can compete in Europe.

Neither Silva nor Villa will be coming to the premier league in January. Both will leave Valencia in the summer after the world Cup. They are cup tied in Europe and don't want to move before the world Cup.

Simon Kjaer will join Utd and Elia to Liverpool. Chelsea are looking at various targets but will not bid for Aguerro till the summer. Ribery is staying with Bayern till the summer. Either Pav or Luca Toni to Arsenal.

BIG GOSSIP, as jose mourinho is main man for the alex ferguson position come 10/11 season, claming he would be capable of bringing Eto and maicon with him to Old trafford.
Man utd looking on the mark to reclaim defender Pique from Barcelona, too strenghten up there defence in there time of need as well as Sol Cambell on pay as you play contract.
Arsenal to snap up youngster Brighton Albion defender grant hall and Brighton Albion Center mid Conor Wilkins for reserves(hot prospect, expect too see them big in 2 years).
Chelsea have Sergio Aguero right on tip as is immenent to put pen to paper. Also looking in to Jesus Navas at Sevilla, But has also been pointed at Liverpool

Da Rebel – I take back wot (ha ha – can't bring myself to say LOL) I said. It appears COYB has also been correcting spelling/grammar and I do not wish to be affiliated – He is a tube. – It must be me getting old however it would take me longer to type and read in this new fangled internet/text wording – I shall adapt !. Also I was not correcting grammar as this is a forum not an essay writing class and I am certainly no expert, I was merely commenting on the abbreviated use of language and how it annoys me (M8, L8R, CUD & WUD) IT IS ONLY 2 MORE LETTERS TO TYPE THE ACTUAL WORD !....N E Way !!....Iker Casillas to Man Utd – (Google Iker Casillas Man Utd) and this return a link to the official man u website where they have started his profile – this has actually been there since the summer – however due to come after WC2010. GDOT

Rafa will not be sacked as manager as it will cost the owners around 20million to sack him and as we all know Liverpool have no money for transfers let alone the huge sum needed to sack rafa.

According to reports from outside old trafford sol campbell was seen this morning entering the ground. Looks like a deal is on the cards in the same vain as owen, pay as you play. Alex Ferguson is according to reports "loving" the recent dig at uniteds finances as he has revealed to close friends he could not count the offers the glaziers have had for united since the takeover on two hands. One to watch in the united youth ranks is a full back called Charlie Gartside who is fed up of the youth team calling him mini rooney – he looks like him and is already going bald at the tender age of 15.

This seems irrelevant at first but hold your horses and read on, especially if you're an Arsenal fan. My next door neighbor is one of the top investors in the "Keystone Sports & Entertainment" investment group. The group owns the Philadelphia Union football club (an MLS team that was just created and will play its first league match in a few months). As we all know, the MLS has some very mediocre players but is attracting some older players and is essentially serving as a retirement home for former greats (ex: Beckham and Ljungberg) with hopes to bring more attention to the league.

I talked to my neighbor earlier today and he said the investors were considering trying to bring a well known player to the team for its first season for good publicity. The group knew it was a long shot but sent a representative to talk to Adriano's agent. The player is only 27 and still a terrific player so coming to the MLS at this point in his career is certainly not an option.

How is this relevant? My neighbor said that Adriano was "basically already signed" anyways and is in London finalizing a deal with his soon to be new club. My neighbor didn't know which London club though.

There are five clubs in London: Arsenal, Chelsea, Fulham, Tottenham, and West Ham.

Fulham is not a big enough club for the Brazilian and neither is West Ham (even though West Ham have tried to sign Adriano). Tottenham have too many strikers as it is so it is between Arsenal and Chelsea. Chelsea do not have much interest in a player like Adriano because Drogba and Anelka are similar in style to Adriano and both are better than the Brazilian.

It looks as if Arsenal will be signing Adriano. Wenger said he wants to sign a striker but only if the price is right (doesn't get much better than a free agent). Arshavin and Fabregas have stated their desires for a tall, powerful, and experienced striker. Adriano is that man and he will be wearing a Gooner uniform before xmas.

Manutd News – Janaury Manutd will buy maybe Kjaer the danish defender for 11 million realease clause as need cover for defence that's it.

summer manutd will get Krasic and Defour watch this pace as sir alex made a personal get well soon card as he has been out in injured. a striker will arrive not villa but dzeko , Adriano (free) or Hulk 1 of these. Goalkeeper depends on Vds is he signs then he play number 1 but if he retires then Akinfeev or Neuer will come in. jack rodwell is a possibilty as vidic could leave and ferdinand injuries so next year could see a new partner ship between J.evans/Kjaer/Rodwell

After the backlash from fans, Kettering chairman Imraan Ladakk is seriously considering quitting the club.

There is no shortage of suitors, with ex–Woking chairman David Taylor very interested in taking the club over.

Rockingham Speedway owner, Andy Hillenburg, is also keen on getting involved with Kettering Town.

Benzema to United in January...
No bulls...absolutely true... And that's why Sir Alex pulls out of Ljajic deal..Sir Alex was all but ready to sign a striker like Gignac or Suarez along with Ljajic in January...but as soon as he came to know that Benzema is available in January transfer window he had to cancel Ljajic deal so that he can easily finance Benzema deal....
So in January Benzema to United £30 mil....
Remember who told this first..'Zico'

Leicester's matty frayatt is set to leave the walkers going to wolves as reports the major factor is the leicester fans being so fickle

To solve Liverpool's striker crisis in the January transfer window Rafa will be looking to sign former crowd favourite Emille Heskey who would jump at the chance of some first team action leading up to the World Cup.
If Rafa fails to land Heskey (which is unlikely) he may turn his attention to Darren Bent but will have to come up with some readies for Bent with the sale of Mascherano.
Also Harry Redknapp has been told that he has to sell to buy in January so will be looking to offload David Bentley who Everton will make a loan offer for.

Dean Ashton who has 'retired' from West Ham is to be given a fitness trial at his old club, Norwich.

It is believed that Colin Calderwood is going to join Plymouths coaching staff!!

More revelations regarding Norwich City, the other Norfolk club, after the now liquidated Kings Lynn looking anxiously over their shoulders...

Left back Adam Drury continues to attract attention from bigger clubs– West Bromwich, Derby County, Stoke City and Rangers have all noted his resurgance in form, and all could make snap bids of around £750'000–£1 Million in the New Year. Meanwhile, in the higher echelons, England U19 and U21 keeper Declan Rudd has caught the eye of Arsenal, Scout Liam Brady has been running the eye over Rudd, and a bid is expected soon.

The Canaries hope to seal a permanent deal for Frasier Forster from Newcastle, although the Geordies will expect a sell on fee and option to buy the keeper back.

Anyone heard the rumour that if Liverpool fail to qualify for the CL, Rafa will be told to make a profit of £15m in the summer transfer window? No CL money means lean times at Anfield! COYB!!

Walsall are to Re–sign former midfielder Dean Keates.

After talks with Peterborough broke down in August, Peterborough and walsall have now agreed terms, As dean only has 5 months left on his contract.
