Bernard Arnault expects to complete a buyout of LFC co–owner George Gillett within two weeks. Tom Hicks isn't willing to sell but will work with Arnault.

Have heard from two very reliable sources in Dallas, that Hicks and team have agreed to a buyout of Benitez, but this will not take effect until Christmas. These discussions have been in the works since Jan of this year and have just now been agreed to in principle with Hicks. The "internal" timing of this decision will allow Liverpool to search for a new manager under the radar for 2–3 months, plus allow Benitez to take over a high profile Spanish Club in this window as well – the handshake deal with Benitez and "the Spanish side" has been there for over a year. I think you know which Spanish Club "they" are talking about.

Believe me when I say, "In the Know"

Arsenal transfers:
djourou out for upto 8 months, therefore Senderos will stay one more season. Chamakh to sign a pre–contractual agreement with Arsenal in January, in order to join us in the Summer. nobody else to sign in January unless injuries are insane. Rumours are that Arsenal are to offer Gallas a years contact extension following his good form. i don't expect him to stay, whether we win the league or not. therefore expect a world class CB to join in the summer. the DCM situation will remain unresolved, even though Song is getting better and better. Expect a DCM to join in the summer too. Wenger will send out Fabianski on loannext season, and will in turn look to sign a GK on loan. expect Wayne Hennessey or Scott Carson. Unless Rosicky proves his worth this season he will also leave. expect a move for van der Vaart or Ben Arfa to replace him. Silvestre to leave. Expect a move for Eden Hazard as well.
Recap: Out: Gallas– free, Silvestre – free, Rosicky £4m, Fabianski – Loan, Traore £4m.
In: CB – £10m, DCM – upto £10m, Chamakh – free, Hazard – £6m, vdVaart–£10m/Ben Arfa, GK – Loan.

Training at Melwood today I was talking to Carragh about the chances of Stevie G moving abroad. Caragh told me that a number of years ago Real Madrid and (MANU) were in negotiations to buy him. The club actually agreed but the deal was stopped by Stevie's in laws! He was told that if he ever left Liverpool he wouldn't have a family to come back to.

I work for the planning office that is alocated to the IBROX GOVAN area and have just had a planning application in from Glasgow Rangers about the creation of a new stadium and also a massive 5star hotel and Rangers super store/JJB. Manchester Magpie

I have a mate who writes for a French newspaper and he tells me the current list of clubs being investigated by FIFA for illegal tapping of youth players are: Chelsea (already punished), Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs, Man City & Man Utd. As you can imagine this will disrupt the Premiership something special if all these clubs are caught. If these clubs are punished similarly to Chelsea, expect many departures over the next season – starting at the top with (i quote) "two un–named foreign owners now thinking of selling their shares in their club(s) if they receive similar bans from transfer activity" – i'm not sure which clubs are being refered to here, but depending who it is there could be financial turmoil on the horizon for some people. YOU HEARD IT FROM ME FIRST REMEMBER!!!! – Van the man.
