Tubbs hands in loan request, several clubs are interested but it will be out of Swindon, Rotherham, Crawley and Fleetwood. I've heard Tubbs will choose between Crawley as its his former club and Rotherham as he has a good relationship with Steve Evans.

Wat a lot of b.... tubbs says on official site he isnt moveing anywhere

Loan request lol!

It will go totally against what tubbs said yesturday on the official bournemouth sites, this seems to be more mischief going on just like the redknap becoming the new bournemouth manager.

I would love this to be true but doubt we could afford his wages. Bournemouths team is immense if not even Tubbs can get a game

Never happen, he quadrupled his wages when he went to Bournemouth, Crawley couldn't afford his salary, end of story.

I don't know how Bournemouth keep doing it the money they have spent recently is unbelievable! I read in the paper that they were the 6th biggest spenders during the jan window out of all the leagues including prem and they were the 9th biggest spenders window just gone but missed out on over £2,000,000 of players on deadline day!!!!!!! No wonder Tubbs can't get a game

Whilst your stats about the Cherrys is nonsense, they have clearly spent a reasonable amount but this will be impossible to sustain as long as they play in a 3 sided ground in Lg1 in front if crowds less than 5500. Pompey MkII

^^^^^ Ouch jealousy strikes!! I say fair play to them. Having spent a couple of years working down in Poole I think they deserve their crack at it although I don't think their attendances will ever get bigger as it is not a football town. Surfing, jet skiing and sailing yes but football no, not cool enough for them

Barnsley are in the running for a loan move for Stoke striker Mamady Sidibe, he is also being looked at by Derby, Sheffield Wednesday and Leeds. It is unlikely he will join Leeds with all the striking options they already have available, Derby and Sheffield Wednesday also have a strong strike pairing, so Barnsley could be leading the chase. [Source: satelite tv}

Keith Hill says not making any loan signings (local newspaper]

What?! striking options like who?!

Satellite tv, that's so 90s!!! {Ed003's Note - my edit,we are not here to give free plugs,that's what my fax said anyway ;) }

He was a target for Derby pre Sammon signing but we're not interested now

Leeds to sign rob hulse

Hill needs to sign players or the Blackpool and Blackburn games will be cricket scores

Yeah this has been widely reported, he's not played for two years but, as much Chris Dagnall works very hard, he's not gonna score many in the Championship

He's going to Leeds. The loan will run until the end of October, when Davide Somma is expected to return from his knee injury.
wally

Hell would freeze over first before we sign him. sorry your barking up the wrong

Well the Blackpool game was a 1.1 cricket score!!!!!

Bradford City are again looking at Tom Taiwo, as his wage payments from Carlisle come to end, he will be available as a non contract player with the 2 clubs coming to an agreement of a small fee plus add ons if he is later sold by Bradford to cover development fees which were borne by Carlisle during his development.

Carlisle will not change their stance on compensation due. Taiwo cost the club a six figure fee, they will not let him walk into another club free of charge. Compensation is still owed to them, no matter whether or not the club are still paying his wages, because of his age. Bradford do not agree with Carlisle's demands, but prefer to avoid a tribunal to decide the fee payable - so the original problem of this deal is still unsolved.

Taiwo will either take a break from the game, or return to Carlisle and accept one of the family packages offered. A free transfer at this stage is very unlikely.

Taiwo cost Carlisle nothing and he will not come back to Carlisle coz we don't need players who don't want t play for us

?? The fee was undisclosed, thought to be a six figure sum - don't rubbish something & then get it badly wrong...

Tawio was an undisclosed fee to be correct

He has signed for hibs in scotland, is he a good player?

It was a free transfer for your information we never paid Chelsea a penny so get your facts right b4 U start posting stuff in here and I know that for a fact

Can someone tell me a bit about Taiwo? Good player? best position etc? Ta. Hibs Fan

Hi Hibs Fan - Tom is a defensive midfielder , very combative a good at breakibg up play, his sheer energy and hard work made him popular. His passing wasn't that good but was improving when he left. Was a bit strange he signed for you as the reason he left was to be closer to his family - and Edinburgh is further than Carlisle from Leeds ?

He is a really good player centre mid best position he will run all day long and likes to get stuck he will b a big miss for us he brakes up lots of attacks from other teams U have got a very very good player in tom

Defensive midfielder, sits back and tackles shorts out messes caused by other players, cant pass the ball more than 30 yards.

Tom taiwo has signed for an spl club today, he said he wanted to go back down south for family reasons buy has gon more north than carlisle tom is a liar its all about that weekly wage, players will go anywhere for money.

Matt Tubbs to Portsmouth on a three month loan deal

No thanks! Anyway, who is brought in on loan will depend entirely on Trevor Birch's decision ref whether liquidation is avoided and, if so, then which bidder takes Pompey forward.

Sounds good to me, but we can only sign one month deals at the moment, until we exit administration

Bournemouth manager Paul Groves says out-of-favour striker Matt Tubbs will not be leaving on loan.

Rumours coming out of Liverpool that
Danny Wilson of Liverpool is a possible
target for Ipswich.

Who is Danny wilson,didn't he sing Mary's prayer? {Ed003's Note - You are showing your age}

Utter rubbish,he is going to Leeds.

I thought he was manager of Sheffield united, still I prefer the singer though!!

That sounds about right, any player we get linked with Leeds are also after.

Was only a matter of time before Leeds were linked then are we their scouting network

I have spoken to a contact in Liverpool and he has said Danny is hopefull that he will go out on loan to a Championship club and that he is not that interested in going to Leeds.

Two more games lost from now and PJ will depart portman road and Paul stir rock will take over.genuine

That's one out the way just lose against wolves and then happy days!

Give over. Support the team, including the manager while he's here. It doesn't help the team when so called fans just keep moaning whether we win or lose.

Get real buster,we have had nearly two seasons of this, how much longer must we get behind a manager void of any ideas.

We should support the manager as long as the owner is behind him. If Evans decides to replace him then we support the new manager.

Could not agree with you more .same excuses made after every game by pj .get him out

Not just pj out. clegg ........?

Jewell out? Replaced by who? Isnt anybody else tired of having 2 season cycles, where we hire a manager, get our hopes up, hit a bad patch, recover, go through a "squad transition" phase, get our hopes up again, hit another bad patch, fire the manager, repeat? If anybody can name a REALISTIC potential replacement who can drag us out of this depression then I'm all ears, otherwise I'm happy to give Jewell more time

^ Couldn't agree more with you mate. Keep Jewell in for the time being.

Us Ipswich fans always give more time! Now its time to get a young manager that wants to build a team and not buy a load of rubbish. Keane had no idea and Jewell will buy anyone that has any sort of profile as long as they will come to Ipswich. Also any team starts at the back how can you want to give a manager a chance that dont want to build a decent back four?

Paul sturrock, best manager in the lower LGE.

How much more time do you give Jewell,he has had nearly two seasons and please tell me what has he done.

If we go down that will be the best to happen so we can start again and get rid of chopa and cresswell hes got a great left foot but hes always out of place which cost us goals.

If they cant win at home tommorow night against wolves and then charton saturday surely its bye bye mr jewell .

any bristol city loan news please,

J Wilson to Portsmouth with a view to a permanent move in Jan if there takeover goes through

Pompey still owe BCFC money from the Henderson transfer so i can't see them wanted to loan em players

Wilson is going out on loan for experience and will be part of the future at BCFC if he stays injury free and proves he can play 40ish games a season.

A permanenet deal would cost someone in excess of £1m plus add ons so I don't think Pompey can expect to come up with that.

Wilson wont be sold on a permanent

City signing assulin from man city(winger) and Alan Tate from Swansea city (centre back) city have also made an enquiry on Birmingham city winger Nathan Redmond to build experience.

Likely to go to Yeovil but only once BCFC have that experienced RCB in.

Redmond is pretty much Birminghams star player so we can saftley say he is not coming in on a loan.

I am increasingly worried we will be signing a Premiership reserve team CB, rather than the experiecenced leader we were promised.

Portsmouth will sign free agents Daniel Bogdanavic, Danny Webber and Ricardo Rocha, all on deals till January

Can't see all three happening as we are restricted to twenty players limit

And why would deals be done to January when the club could be liquidated in less than a month, or, less likely, new owners could come in who would want to be able to establish their own team?
Why don't you start to be realistic?

And have no money for wages, get real

Daniel Bogdanovic is not a free agent. He is playing with Mosta in the Maltese premier league.

No he's not he left

Chesterfield are close to appointing former Watford manager Sean Dyche as their boss on a two year deal.
His first signing is thought to be Fulham youngster Marcello Trotta.
Dyche is also wanting to bring a number of his own backroom staff in. The 41 year old is wanting to bring some former Chesterfield players in as his coaches.
Antigua and Barbuda international manager Tom Curtis has apparently already held talks with Dyche. The 39 year old is rumoured to be interested in leaving the post in the Carribean and is keen on a move to England. The former Chesterfield and Mansfield player is hopeful of being appointing as Assistant Manager on a two year deal.
Dyche is rumoured to be wanting to bring in some more staff but no more names have been released.

I would expect his backroom staff to include Ian Woan [former Forest playmaker] - they are best mates and worked so well at Watford together.

Not sure about this rumour as SD has just been appointed to Stuart Pearces under 21 coaching staff

On the FA's website it states this is a temporary role. He was invited to the training session by Pearce for the experience.

Dyche and Ian woan were both at the reserve game yesterday afternoon at the proact ?

Esajas teaining with us? Ex Sheffield Wednesday ?

He is with the England U21's

Coventry City are close to appointing former player and Darlington manager Steve Staunton as boss. The 43 year old attended the game against Stevenage on Sunday.
Staunton is close to bringing in fellow countryman Simon Madden. Madden plays right full back and is regarded as a cheap option. Madden is only 24 year old and could be seen as a future Championship player.
There could be two incomings in the next few days, whereas Madden will link up in January. Former Shamrock Rovers and Darlington winger come striker Tadhg Purcell will link up on a one year deal. Purcell is also Irish.
The third deal is for a German. Left back Dominik Werling, who can also play winger, will sign on a one year deal. The former Arminia Bielefeld player is keen on staying in England.
These three deals are a sign of how Coventry are really struggling financially and come of the more 'experienced' players will be leaving on loan to cut the wage bill.
Staunton is also wanting to bring some of his own coaching staff in.
Scunthorpe United Academy Coach Paul Harsley will sign a two year deal as the Under 18 manager at The Ricoh. Harsley used to play for Scunthorpe, Macclesfield and Port Vale.
Former Aston Villa and Manchester United legend Dwight Yorke is expected to sign a one year deal as the First Team Coach. Yorke is wanting to get more involved with first team coaching rather then running the reserves at United.
Staunton is thought to be keen on appointing Gareth Southgate as his assistant. The 42 year old is also keen on getting back into football after three years working in the media.
Another coach to come in and help Staunton is Gary Charles. The 42 year old is expected to run the reserves whilst also helping Staunton, Southgate and Yorke with the first team coaching.

Cov are skint so they sign Staunton, Southgate and Yorke as the coaching team lol

Warren Joyce runs the reserves at United.

Great imagination you've got there but I'm afraid that's wrong as waggon and fisher have already stated that the new manager is to work with existing coaching staff + who in the hell would we replace Gregory Rioch while done a fantastic job with our academy and under 18's?

Clearly Staunton is not going to be coming here and secondly he would not be welcome.
