Walsall fan here. Heard from sources we've lost Brandy but kept Grigg. Rumours are Right on here. We've asked about Adam Rooney John Rooney Shelton Martis (If Holden doesn't sign) There's also Marvin Morgan Jermaine Renee Howe plus Sam Derring Russell Penn Also Jordan Cook all been approached and the Shock Scouting of Jon Taylor of Shrewsbury if Jamie Patterson leaves what is a possibility now long term friend George Bowerman has Left.
Promising Times Ahead
UTS

Taylor will not sign for a league 1 club for the last time! he's too good for walsall anyway, the next thing I will hear is that he's going to a league 2 club like hartlepool!

It won't be very promising times ahead if we loose pato 13 goals and most assists for the rest of the goals what on earth are you chattin about?!

13 May 2013 23:03:54
Chris Dunn looks to be on his way out of Coventry with Dagenham & Redbridge

Good keeper I wish him well.

13 May 2013 22:59:36
Coventry are in line to make a move for wycombe's Georges Ehui

Just pointing out he’s a free agent Wycombe released him over a week ago, and as this post suggest he is still a Wycombe player. It leads to believe that this rumour very unlikely.

13 May 2013 22:55:05

13 May 2013 22:52:35

Not true.

13 May 2013 22:18:54
Man Utd are set to loan out Wilfred Zaha again next season with Swansea, West ham and a few other clubs being mentioned.

13 May 2013 22:10:10
Cardiff ins:
Danny Simpson FREE from Newcastle
Robert Huth £4m from Stoke
Kazenga Lualua £3m from Brighton
Jon Walters £3m Stoke
Tom Huddlestone £5m Tottenham
Expect a signing from Argentina!

Outs:
Fillip Kiss £150k to Barnsley
Steve McPhail FREE to Oldham
Etien Velikonja loan to Hoffenheim
Declan John £4m to Tottenham
Ben Nugent loan to Newport
Craig Conway £1m to Burnley or Huddersfield

Huth, no chance, Walters, take him

I would take lualua he is a big talent

With the money Cardiff City have you can't see Declan John going anywhere one real prospect that Malky likes

You won't be getting Huth, and you won't be getting Walters as long as Pulis is our manager.

No one is buying john off us

Lualua no chance

I don't want any of those players!

No chance you're getting Huth, and teams at a higher quality want Walters so that's unlikely too

Mcphail has been looked at by Swindon but his wages were far too high so I think Oldham may struggle a bit with that one.

I would take 3 million for Kazenga any day of the week on last nights performance.

Huth is worth at least £8 million and I doubt he would leave stoke for Cardiff

14 May 2013 16:10:52
lualua is terrible from what i've seen league one not premier league

Why would Cardiff want LuaLua. He hardly started for Brighton this season. The only time he played was as a sub. No way Cardiff would want him.

13 May 2013 22:07:25
Exeter City will confirm new deals for Cureton, O Flynn and Oakley this week. All 3 have taken small pay cuts to remain with the grecians next season.

Exeter will also confirm the signing of Tom Craddock from Oxford this week on a free transfer. Exeter will announce another signing also along with the Tom Craddock deal but this signing is being kept under close guard until the announcement as there are still a few contract issues to sort out.

Tom Craddock has joined Portsmouth for next eason

Exeter are skint. Seriously skint. On the verge skint. There will be no signings.

Exeter budget cut from 1. 2M to 800K for 2013/14.

13 May 2013 22:05:00
Leeds Utd could be set to sign Burnley frontman Martin Patterson on a free transfer after he turned down a contract offer from the clarets

13 May 2013 22:03:20
Rory loy, lee miller and andy welsh to sign for Scunthorpe miller was there before but laws wants all 3

Why would lee miller drop to league 2 and go to Scunthorpe, he has been offered a contract at Carlisle and wants to stay close to Scotland

13 May 2013 21:57:47

13 May 2013 21:52:21
Yeovil town to sign former winger Andy Welsh back whichever league they are in, johnson wants his pace on the left and knows he was fans favourite before you heard it here first

I heard he is coming to Wembley to watch. Come back please Andy

Why? Foley is much better

We would need both if we go up welshy has experience plus loves the club

Yes he has expirence but he is past it! Anyway let's get to the championship, up the glovers

Past it only 29 and is as fit as jonesy was when we got him, we will get another good 6 or 7 years from him

13 May 2013 21:19:34
Norwich City linked with Graham Dorrans of WBA, he is friends with old mate and current scotland team mate Robert Snodgrass, also Russ Martin and Steven Whittaker. WBA see him as surplus to requirements, so would be a good signing for the prem next season.

Surplus to requirements? He has been in our starting 11 since January

13 May 2013 21:09:33
Apostolos Vellios may join Middlesbrough due to a lack of first team football at Everton recently. Chris Humpries (Motherwell) and Jamie Vardy (Leicester City) are also being watched.

Doubt they have been watching vardy he ain't played in about 4 months

13 May 2013 21:00:30
Shrewsburys Jon Taylor has been offered deals by 4 clubs, 3 at league 1 and one at championship, he's currently away on holiday considering his options but its unlikely he will stay at Shrewsbury. Germaine Grandison is expected to sign a new 12 month contract but will be out injured for half of this.

Shrewsbury have spoken to a number of players, however their strict wage structure is limiting them. Bids have gone in for two strikers and a central defender but all want time to consider their options.

13 May 2013 20:56:34
Charlie Austin to Bournemouth is a done deal. £4million plus a 20% sell on fee. This is true and the deal will be confirmed in the next few days

13 May 2013 22:57:53
I wish but unfortantley not true howe dosent know his pplaying budget till the end of week and we can't compete with premier league sides for him

^Exactly. Real Bournemouth fans have to keep dumbing the club down because of this Austin talk. Starting to get boring like the old Ritchie saga.

Yeah the boring Ritchie saga which ended in us having the player and leave poor old Swindon in League 1.

Can't see Austin coming to us however but at least it has nothing to do with money. See him going to a prem club!

Up The Cherries

14 May 2013 16:46:55
We kept going on about Ritchie and we got got Ritchie, have heard Austin is a done deal

Fair play rules will stop this from happening we can only spend income from new on

If bournemouth sign Austin they will be unstopperble.

Do Fair Play rules take into consideration ALL income, including Sponsorship? In which case, I don't see AFCB having a problem with that. As said, Ritchie always looked an impossible signing, EDDIE HOWE was an impossibility, but they BOTH happened. I'm not saying Charlie Austin will sign for us, but I'd not bet against it either, until I see he's gone elsewhere. UTC

13 May 2013 21:16:50
Exeter agree deal for michael brown who is looking for a last contract near his family after being released from leeds

He's from hartlepool, which is about as far away from exeter as possible

13 May 2013 23:18:11
we all at leeds wish this was true, he is carp he won't get a game now warnocks gone

Michael brown is from hartlepool north east england loooooong way from exeter

Brown isn't being released, he's got another year on his deal unless he is getting sold

Unfortunately we haven't released him either he's getting a new contract

13 May 2013 20:48:41
Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is apparently keen to bolster the Liverpool defence next season with both Carragher retiring and Martin Skrtel set to leave. The Liverpool manager is said to be keen on signing Lyon defender Dejan Lovren and the french club are likely to be willing to accept a fee in the region of £12 million. The reds boss has already made impressive signings for impressive fees in the purchases of Sturridge and Coutinho and Lovren could be the first in a very important Liverpool transfer window.

13 May 2013 20:40:01
Arsenal and Tottenham are locked in a two-way battle for Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke and are willing to match the club's £20 million valuation of the 18-goal forward.

19 goals & its more like a £30-40m valuation.

13 May 2013 20:39:26
Montpellier are ready to make a move for Al-Gharafa's ex-France international Djibril Cisse. The 31-year-old, who is owned by freshly-relegated Premier League side QPR, is bored in Qatar and MHSC are keen to land a new attacker.

13 May 2013 20:37:47

13 May 2013 20:34:35
Huddersfield Town are to sign:
Roger Johnson (Wolves)
Frankie Fielding (Derby)
Lee Tomlin (Peterborough United)
Nathaniel Mendez-Laing (Peterbourough United)
Wade Elliot (Cash strapped Birmingham City)
James Vaughan (Norwich City)
Simeon Jackson (Norwich City)
Keith Andrews (Bolton Wanderers)

You couldn't afford Johnsons contract demands and he won't sign for anyone for less than he is currently being paid.

Johnson
Are we getting him in to sell the pies at half time as he is worse than what we have at the moment

Chairman said we have to reduce the wage bill by £2m. What we going pay this lot with?
It will be cheap lower league players and maybe foreigners this next season I'm afraid.

Johnson. wolves can keep him and his big wages, hope he likes lg1, think he may have to take a pay cut and go to whoever will have him if he doesn`t fancy playing in the rabbit league.

Frankie Fielding is not going to Huddersfield.

Div 1 football is right for this guy, no bottle for a fight, Peter clarke has his faults, but at least he's up for the battle!.

You'd challenge for the playoffs with those players in my opinion. can only be good for Huddersfield. (from a non bitter Posh fan)

How do you work that out if wigan win both games that mean villa lose there last game and we are already above them on points

I reckon Huddersfield needing to lower the wage bill will be to accommodate for them to be able to offer Vaughan the wages he'd want

Doubt we will be signing a boat load of players this season, just doesn't make sense with our youth policy starting to show promise. A couple of handy forwards cherry picked from posh would make sense though.

Forwards from posh would cost you to much

13 May 2013 20:16:15
Tamika Mkandawire Is In Talks With Southend. Phil Brown Has Already Made Contact With Millwall Over A Permanent Deal For The Central Defender/Midfielder.

Before You Start Having A Go, And Saying He Isn't A Defender, Phil Brown Prefers Him At Centre Back!

He's out of contract so wouldn't need to speak to millwall!

Being a millwall fan he was a centre back until kj played him DM

spanish press have reported that arsenal have agreed a fee with real madrid for higuain.

13 May 2013 20:09:36
Huddersfield are ready to sign transfer lister Gabriel zakuani and Lee Tomlin in a double raid on relegated Peterborough United.

They won't have enough money for both!

Lee tomlin yes, but after the abuse he gave us I don't want zakuani

HA zakuani to huddersfield, what a joke, he wouldn't come here and we wouldn't have him

If we get Tomlin, Ward will be happy, he'll have someone to eat pies with!

Ward won't be happy, because Tomlin will eat all the pies for he gets there, haha

13 May 2013 19:38:55
Port Vale have made a bid of 75k for Alfie Potter, which is expected to be accepted.

Um! Not sure this is a starter and not at £75K and its unlikely anything under 6 figures would be accepted. Nothing in local press, forums.

13 May 2013 19:15:03
Cheltenham are eyeing up a move for Danny Stevens who has been released by Torquay. Stevens made 215 appearances for the Gulls, scoring 28 goals.

13 May 2013 19:35:10
League one side Walsall are in talks with released Birmingham forward Adam Rooney to replace George Bowerman who was released at the end of the current league one season

Rooney has been on loan at Swindon all season Scoring 9 in 30, Walsall are trying to sign the former Inverness striker on a two year deal

Keep in mind he has signed a pre deal at Swindon

If Rooney goes to Walsall the deal for caddis going to Birmingham will fall through, I am positive Rooney will Sign for Swindon, this was all part of the deal! Caddis plus cash in exchange Rooney? If his contract has expired different story, I have been told by certain people at the club that Rooney is basically on board with Swindon to be announced in the coming weeks.

Rooney's contract has expired at Birmingham so has no effect what so ever in the Caddis deal, which Swindon are holding out for £300,000 for. Other championship and Scottish premiership teams may come in for him during the summer now

17 May 2013 07:15:33
Birmingham's move for Caddis has fallen through according to express and star and swindon are set to cut their wage bill

13 may 2013 19:32:39
after a starring role, yesterday on tv, chris humphrey has been touted to be joining middlesbrough in the close season, in a revamp of the playing staff at the riverside, after a lack lustre season going forward, humphrey has been targeted as a possible summer target, after the player has stated he won't be signing a new contract at motherwell.

Bring it on, was the star of the show at the weekend for Motherwell!

Eddie Howe interested in signing Michael Higdon from Motherwell after being impressed and had a recommendation from Ryan Fraser.

Cherries are waiting for the conclusion of the Championship play offs to see whether Lewis Dunk, Tommie Hoban or Will Hoskins are available.

Doubt the Brighton boys are now!!

13 May 2013 19:08:38
Cheltenham captain Russell Penn is stalling over a new contract after attracting interest from Port Vale and Walsall.

He has to stay if we are to go up next season

Kenny Jacket will be announced as Wolves manager next week

Dean Saunders is set to make a return to promoted Doncaster

Bristol Rovers will Sign Matthew Lund on a free transfer from Stoke

Bristol City are set to sign Scott Flinders and Aden Flint

Hull City have made contact with Jamie O'Hara

Cardiff want to sign Gary Hooper from Celtic

Hooper's too good for cardiff.

Hoopers not good enough for cardiff

Cardiff are in the prem mate

Also well done CP on beating Brighton

Not to sure about that, we won't be going for Hooper

Saunders isn't on the final 3 man short list so I'd love if you got your facts right

How are Cardiff to good for Hooper!
Really people should think before they post comments on this website!

3 man short list, get your facts right it's a fourman list

13 May 2013 18:42:57
Middlesbrough have landed a deal with an unknown German business man, who intends to invest heavily in the club.
The likely investment is estimated at £30 million for starters.

No chance

Love this to be true but why would he do it?

Not going to happen gibson dos not want anyone to invest in the boro he wants full control of club

If only

You dream this?

More chance of boro getting promoted than that happening

For some strange reason I don't believe this is true

13 May 2013 18:06:40
Ipswich will sign Harry Forrester of brentford and Alan judge of notts county amongst others

Town fan would be good but if we don't move fast and sign early july we will get neither

We'd be extremely fortunate to get both of them, but I imagine there will be a lot of competition for them. Plus if Brentford get promoted, there'll be no chance of us signing Forrester.

We will keep forester if we get promoted

13 May 2013 17:47:54
ANY BRISTOL CITY TRANSFER NEWS IN OR OUT,

13 May 2013 17:47:18
Walsall to sign Bristol city released duo
Dean Gerken (goalkeeper) and Mark Wilson (defender)

Former City assistant Richard O'Kelly has persuaded the duo to join him at the saddlers after there release from Ashton gate

Have them they are rubbish and all they want is money

13 May 2013 18:11:05
man utd new boss david moyes wants napoli midfielder marek hamsik and ajax play maker christian erikssen

Eriksen is off to Borussia Dortmund

No Fellaini, bale and Baines

13 May 2013 17:40:09
Walsall look set to sign Shelton Martis on a free from newly-promoted Championship side Doncaster Rovers.
Walsall are also intrested in possibly bringing in James Harper who is also gona be out of contract following his release by the yorkshire club.

Neither fit the description of player that Walsall are looking for, Walsall are looking for young and hungry players, although I wouldn't be surprised to see some of the players released by Bristol City end up with Walsall as O'Kelly has rejoined them today and did the same thing with Hereford last season

God help Walsall if they sign either of those two. Martis is constantly injured, and Harper wonders around midfield pointing. Even had the nickname 'pointer' at Donny!

13 May 2013 17:27:02
Ipswich interested in Leigh Griffiths from Wolves

Would love this, he is ace

13 May 2013 17:25:28
Doncaster to sign Burnley midfielder Marvin Bartley for 175K later this week

I'd imagine he'll be staying at Burnley for now with McCann leaving

Good player

1 ov our better midfielders but not played enough under dyche, when he wants to play he can be the difference between a win or a draw but he's inconsistent. i'd imagine he's worth more than 175,000 tho

13 May 2013 17:11:47
Portsmouth have signed Tom Craddock, and now look for one more centre back edition, another 1 or 2 strikers, and a few more additions to the midfield. Guy is looking to take his transfer total to around 15 players. With Blair reportedly close to penning a deal, it looks likely that a flurry of transfer will happen on pre-contracts before June 1st. Portsmouth will probably be operating with a 27 man squad (or there abouts) next season with youth players moving in when we need them. A few whispers around Fratton Park are suggesting Diop on his was home, and Toddy set to join him. The Todorov rumours have seemed to go a bit quiet with people assuming he won't sign. But after reportedly being spotted in Portsmouth on Sunday, maybe it is closer that we think. PUP

Yes you have signed Tom Craddock, but Matty Blair has signed for Fleetwood tonight.

Blair has signed for Fleetwood, obviously not prepared to buy into the Fratton Park vision.

Blair chose Fleetwood over us how times have changed

Yes papa diop come on

Signing Toddy would be massive, club legend and would score lots of goals in League 2 PUP

Oh sorry, Blair has now joined Fleetwood town, after a Contract talk broke down with Guy and the Pompey team. He felt he would earn more at Fleetwood.

Yes Fleetwood have got money but that's one player that turned us down, he is from up north so maybe wanted to stay there.

14 May 2013 16:12:47
According the Fleetwood website, he had some good friends playing for the club.

13 May 2013 16:56:12
Colchester United will offer contracts to the following free agents:
Charlie McDonald
Matt Richards
Jimmy Smith
& Scott Wagstaff

They will also begin searching for a new striker as it is rumoured Jabo Ibehre will snub his contract offer to sign for either Leyton Orient or Notts County

Colchester will also be on a search for a new Center back after releasing 3 during the course and end of last season, no names que'd yet.

After releasing Youngster Jackson ramm, formerly of Blackburn, the U's Have signed up Mason Spence who was released by MK Dons

Wagstaff rumour seems to be gathering pace, have heard his name mentioned a lot and he would suit Joe Dunne's style of play.

Jabo will not be returning. He has had his day at Orient, and good luck to him wherever he goes. Strong Rumour is Southend.
Slade is busy trying to sign fresh young talent, and top of his list is a striker.

I am a trustworthy source within CUFC and I can tell you that Scott Wagstaff will be coming on trial from the week comencing 8/7/13 until the end of pre season.

'' Coming on TRIAL to Colchester ''?
I'm sure Wagstaff would want better security than that.! I assume you meant on Loan, which won't happen.

Most lower league clubs know what Wagstaff is all about, and he will sign for someone on a two year contract.
Strong rumour is Rotherham or Leyton Orient.

15 May 2013 12:39:07
Leyton Orient are hot on the trail of Raffaele DeVita.
There are clubs also interested, but Italian striker DeVita would prefer London.

You can't sign a free agent on loan.

13 May 2013 16:37:55
Jesus Gamez to sign for West Brom

Never heard of him, would rather see a baggie kid put in

My team have really p,,, me off, clarke is a goner, his decisions are crazy, what input do keen and downing put in because 3 people can't agree on wrong decisions all the time

14 May 2013 08:57:43
Hadn't heard of Mulumbu or Yacob either. What difference does that make. Plays in Spain. Right back. Valued at 5 Million

I have saw this guy play before for malaga is a good fast soild right back who is simple and doesn't make many mistakes and has champions league experience would love to sign him and would be looking upward if we did

13 May 2013 16:41:56
Oxford's Alfie Potter is being tracked by Leeds, Charlton and Port Vale.

13 May 2013 17:41:16
walsall are also intrested in him aswell.

That will cost these clubs at least 6 figures

Port Vale maybe, the other two not interested.

He's worth 300k, I doubt Port Vale can afford him.

13 May 2013 16:35:41
Norwich will attempt to sign Gary hooper for 5 million but if they fail they will go for Kone from Wigan when they get relegated.

13 May 2013 17:44:52
norwich could stil go dwn themselves if wigan win thy last 2 and norwich lose they last game and results don't go they way lol
you won't surely be signing hooper then.

13 May 2013 19:37:56
Kone is a much better option.

13 May 2013 19:58:25
Norwich cannot be relegated. If Wigan win their last two games they would go above Villa which would mean Villa would go down instead.

OTBC!

13 May 2013 21:16:29
haha shows how much you know, we can't go down now! I like this rumour and would take either of them. OTBC

5m for hooper?

no thanks.

8.5m for van wolfswinkel with years left on his contract, then 5m for hooper with just 1 year left while refusing to sign a new one?

lol.

English strikers are way too overpriced in this country. ask spain, france, holland etc to value him. wouldn't even be 4m euro.

Hooper is worth 5 mill he's a good player ok fair dos he plays in a crap league but still he's worth 5mill better then what we have now rather him then holt would work great with van winkie

"norwich could stil go dwn themselves if wigan win thy last 2 and norwich lose they last game and results don't go they way lol
you won't surely be signing hooper then. "

What an person! It is impossible for us to go down, if Wigan win their two games that means they'll beat Villa. meaning they won't overtake us!

Hooper or kon'e? sounds great i'd have both!

13 May 2013 16:29:11
Luton could sign between 2-4 players this week as all clubs finalise their retained lists. Adam Birchall and Tom Craddock have been mentioned as possible strikers with Rendell going to Torquay. Scott Doe could join from Still's former club Dagenham whilst Andi Thanoj could move south from Conference rivals Grimsby.

Tom craddock, no chance do keep up to date

Craddock as signed for portsmouth

13 May 2013 16:21:47
Rotherham manager steve evans has admitted he wants to get his business done early and wants to sign players good enough to fire the millers to the championship. They have placed 150k bid for Liam Boyce of Cliftonville, 300k bid for Billy McKay of Inverness and 50k bid for Sean Colhessy of Southend. Evans will also offer contracts to Jacques Maghoma of Burton, Marlon Pack of Cheltenham and Danny Kearns of Peterborough (although Kearns is not out of contract the posh are willing to let him leave on a free). The millers are contemplating a bid for Barnet keeper Graham Stack too as he seems reluctant to start next season in the conference. All of this is from someone in the know at the club.

Sean Clohessy is out of contract why would you pay 50k?

Tosh! Sean Clohessy Won't Leave Southend. He Has Been Offered A New Deal And Has Said Himself He'll Sign It!

Dream On Rotherham!

Maybe higher division may persuade him to leave an average league 2 team. Think southend fabs need to dream on.

Great player my choice for captain if we get rid of barker who has not had the best of seasons compared to the previous campaign

I don't think kearns will go on a free

Yeah, Clohessy Is A Great Player, He Wants To Stay At Blues Too, Which Makes It Better! People Saying Barker Will Leave For Crawley To Work With Ritchie (His Brother), But I Can See Him Going Back To Somewhere Like Plymouth Instead

Graham stack has stated on more than one occasion he is going to stay

Kearns is transfer listed and I can't see him going for nothing.

Clohessey doesn't want to stay at Southend, that's why he hasn't signed a new contract - he will move on, Rotherham are a good shout.

He (Clohessy) Has Said He Wants To Stay. My Neighbour Works At The Club And She Said He Will Sign The New Two Year Deal. First Hand Source. That Now Adds Rotherham To The List Of Jealous Fans.

13 May 2013 16:15:05
Bournemouth interested in Andy Webster the Scotland centre half, free in the summer when his deal is up. Who has championship experience and is over his injury problems. And are also interested in Neil Alexander Scotland international goal keeper, who is also out of contract in the summer. Another player with championship experience. Also considering swoops for Scotland international strikers Kris Boyd and James McFadden, both also have championship experience.
Big Tex

13 May 2013 16:58:25
All sound potentley good aditions if we are indeed after them and sign them. you sound very sure we are being linked with them big tex

So any1 Scottish lol

Keepers are out of the question. Allsop has been great & are no doubts he'll be a hit in the Championship.

13 May 2013 19:43:37
Alexander goal keeping helped take Rangers to the Europa League cup final. Superb keeper been loyal to Rangers to stay there. Will be moving on great experience and the best keepers have experience. Bournemouth would be lucky to have him, and the rest of these players. If what Big Tex says is true. We should look to sell players, when such quality players are for free. I like that Murray Davidson at Saint Johnstone, think he could add something to the team. Looks like he has genuine ability, box to box like that Paul Bryson at Derby. Only much more harder and can tackle to, and is better in the air. Probably could be converted into a top class holding midfielder.

No, no, no and no.

13 May 2013 15:59:43
Oldham Matt Smith is flying to LA to have talks about signing for Major Soccer League side LA Galaxy on a free transfer.

Haha, put 2 and 2 together and got 5. He is in LA on holiday, prob seeing old friends from university he studied at in America

Van Persie going holiday to Las Vegas, must being signing on in the MLS.

Loads of players go to LA then vegas for their break in the summer, can see Galaxy having at least 4 teams then.

Norwich City are very interested in signing FC Porto's Belgian midfielder Steven Defour.
The East Anglian club are thought to be lining up a bid of £4m to try and lure him to Carrow Road.

Great player and that would be a steal, silky midfielder can control a game. And he is not even the best midfielder they have, but would walk into most other international teams. And well young enough to take the English game bye storm.

Would be a great signing, would like to see him and Birdcutt coming in, even it means Johnson going

Why oh why do people keep banging on about bridcutt. Have you learnt nothing from this season. We are a premiership team and need to buy prem quality players, not buy championship players and hoping they will do ok. I'm just waiting for some clueless person to mention Cms.

Top player. At £4 million he would be an absolute steal.

14 May 2013 14:30:18
Cluesless? Have you even seen birdcutt play? He is a better defensive midfielder than we have already that's for certain! Just because your young and playing championship football does'nt make you a bad player! Look at snodgrass, hoolahan and like!

^ agree we need prem players but then saying that there's a few good players in the championship so long as we can get them at the right price I don't see why not, but i'd like to see a few bigger names that will keep us up next season

Take a look at what you can by from European leagues for 4million. Technically far superior players. Why keep looking at over priced, over rated English players and hoping they will do ok.

Its a attacking mid that norwich want we got plenty who can pass the ball backwards

Dont need bridcutt! plenty of players to buy from better leagues!

13 May 2013 15:30:05
Right back Stephen O'Donnell has agreed a pre-contract with Dundee United from Partick Thistle. Dundee United are concerned with Keith Watson's knee problem and have moved swiftly to sign the ex Celtic youth player.

13 May 2013 15:20:27
Afc wimbledon have made a move to bring former loanee Brennan Dickenson back permanently. The Brighton wingers loan wasnt extended due to injury.

Brennan Dickenson is a striker, not a winger

14 May 2013 13:49:05
Played very well on the left wing for us I thought, would be pleased to have him back, thought we missed his balance with saint Luce when he left. Be exciting to see hat he could do with a run in the first team.

He played on the wing for AFCWimbledon and done a great job, I've heard this rumour from elsewhere also

Played on the wing for us

He plays upfront for Brighton's development squad

We won't sell him yet

Brennan Dickenson will be a future star for Brighton. If Poyet or another manager sells him they'll be sorry when he's scoring goals against us in 4 or 5 years time.

13 May 2013 15:54:46
Bolton striker Kevin Davies is a target for both Preston and Oldham as the striker wants to stay in the North West of England.

No offence to Oldham or even PNE. but Kevin Davies could take the pick of Championship clubs in the North West.

I would also doubt any League 1 club could afford his wages

13 May 2013 19:34:41
he won't join any of these teams he will join a championship team I love him a pne but can't see it

13 May 2013 15:53:02
Doncaster set to name paul dickov as manager on Friday. Fact.

Posts that end in the word fact. Are bull. FACT!

Dickov I hope not didn't do any good at Oldham, went to world title fight at Keepmoat on Saturday, total disaster no organisation, typical of this current
Rovers commercial team, when will Baldwin realise its time to get some Doncaster people employed, this lot just aren't interested

13 May 2013 15:47:25
man utd to buy karim benzema, Moyes is a big admirer.

Moyes might be, but it don't mean he will get him.

13 May 2013 15:46:44
Gillingham ins

Marlon Pack
Andre Gray
Dave Martin
Calvin Zola
Billy Kee

Gillingham outs
Montrose

Dave Martin is John Still's favourite and won't be going anywhere having only signed in January and if Andre Gray does leave this summer it will only be to a club bigger than Luton. I. E not Gillingham.

No chance with Pack. Zola is contemplating signing a new contract with Burton he will not want to move 'down south' and Kee signed a new 3 year deal recently, how much can you afford?

13 May 2013 19:02:53
So the offer of more money and the opportunity to play against wolves, Sheffield united etc won't be more attractive then playing in the conference against The likes of Halifax. I think you need to get real!

Gills have money available, so you never know.

Nothing in any of those names except Lewis Montrose is probably going. I don't think any of the rest would interest Martin Allen and probably wouldn't want to come to gills anyway. The one likely in for us is Cody Mac if we can agree terms/afford him.

Dont need Gray, Kee and Zola. we've got Kedwell, Burton & most probably Cody soon

13 May 2013 15:43:36
Reading are apparently interested in Leicester midfielder Andy King

King won't leave Leicester he is to loyal to the club and if he did leave it wouldn't be for less than 5m, so reading can look else where.

Sounds good

13 May 2013 20:06:09
Would doubt seeing King leave saying that Leicester were the only ones to want him so and he is probably one of the most loyal players in the the championship

Well his parents work in Reading

13 May 2013 15:39:08
Arsenal to sign:

Sebastian Corchia (Sochaux, 7m), Ashley Williams (Swansea, 8m), Maxime Gonalons (Lyon, 8.5m), Morgan Schneiderlin (Southampton, 10m), Cesc Fabregas (Barcelona, loan), Loic Remy (QPR, 6m), Gonzalo Higuain (Real Madrid, 18m).

Out:

Lukasz Fabianski (free transfer), Bacary Sagna (PSG, 8m), Abou Diaby (West Ham), Lukas Podolski (Galatasaray, 12m), Sebastian Squillaci (free transfer), Andrei Arshavin (Zenit, free), Gervinho (Galatasaray, 10m), Martin Angha (Nurenberg, free), Andre Santos (Gremio, free), Johan Djourou (Hannover, 4m), Marouane Chamakh (Bordeaux, 2m), Nicklas Bendtner (Wolfsburg, 5m), Park Chu-Young (Betis, 1m), Denilson (Sao Paolo, 3m).

You won't get Schneiderlin for 10million, southampton don't have to sell their best players as they are wealthy and Morgan is seen as our best player so unless arsenal pay 30mil plus he won't be going, he has also just signed a 5 year deal

13 May 2013 17:09:14
you will not get morgan full stop

Williams will cost £12 million to buy out his contract.

Overall this list looks like the dreams of a deluded supporter

Schneiderlin for 10mill? You are kidding right? Not a chance. You'd have to double it for us to even raise our heads!

13 May 2013 18:26:30
30mil plus i'd pay 5mil at the most

Barca to loan Fabregas? Serious? Also Schneiderlin is very unlikely to be leaving St Mary's and I can't see Swansea letting Williams go for that little.

The Gooners can take a running jump as far as Schneiderlin is concerned,
he's a Saint.

Haha he's not worth 30m but that's probably a price we'd excpet

Swansea already come out and said nothing less than £10 million for Williams. So figure needs improvement

I think the point being made was that, though you'd pay 5 million at most for him, Southampton wouldn't sell him for less than 30 million as he is worth that much money to them.

5mill for Schneiderlin?
Either you have never actually watched him play or you have little understanding of the current transfer market. A 5 million bid would be absolutely laughed out of town!

30 mill best joke ever

If michu is valued at 30 million a striker who has scored 22 goals in all competitions this season. then I seriously doubt Southampton would get any where near 30 million for in premier league terms a nobody like schneiderlin

A nobody that has consistently captained France U21s and has incredible stats including the most successful tackles in the premier league.

Sorry, correction: Captained the U18s. Addition: Also has Prem 5 goals.

Schneiderlin? a nobody?!

He is statistically proven to be the best overall defensive midfielder across the entire English football league.

13 May 2013 15:35:48
Bobby zamora to join brighton if they manage to get to the prem as qpr have been relegated. expected to be a 2 year deal as he is a senior player now.

Come on Brighton

It seams to be all if's and buts when it comes to this so why woudl it be spoken about.

13 May 2013 19:14:30
This rumour surfaces EVERY transfer window and it never happens.

Not going to happen (sadly) as
a) he is on stupid money at qpr
b) he just isn't very good anymore (his return would be a let down for Brighton fans as we have such wonderful memories of when he was awesome)

: (

13 May 2013 15:33:39
Doncaster Rovers are set to hold talks with four managers this week as they hope to appoint one 'Head Coach' before the end of this month.
Manchester City coach Attilio Lombardo, Plymouth manager John Sheridan, former Barnsley, Bristol City and Hartlepool boss Danny Wilson and Barnet boss Edgar Davids are all rumoured to be the four on the shortlist.

J S has just signed a three year contract with Plymouth. Doncaster would have to fork out a lot in compo to get him, so clearly not likely is it!

John Sheridan won't be on the shortlist, he has just signed a new contract at plymouth!

Sheridan has just signed a 3 year deal with Plymouth.

How ridiculous, we are supposed to be on the up, it looks like we might lose players that want to stay at Doncaster but a manager isn't appointed quickly enough to make offers. Then the list seen does not meet any of John Ryan's 18 points they are looking for the new manager to meet. Or again a load of rubbish being written by people who are guessing and doing damage!

Sheridan has just signed a three year deal at Argyle. Why would he got go Doncaster?

I highly doubt Doncaster's board's conversation was "We need a new manager. I know, let's go for a manager who has just signed a 3-year contract, meaning we'll have to pay a large sum of compensation"

Come on! Contracts mean nothing nowadays other than the guarantee of getting compensation!

Edgar Davids is settled in london he is unwilling to relocate.

No way will Edgar Davids will move to Donny. More realistic options are Kevin Blackwell & Phil Parkinson

It's funny, as a Hartlepool fan I understand Danny Wilson is no way associated with our club at the minute?

13 May 2013 15:29:20
Stoke players to be Released/Retiring/Sold this summer

Jermaine Pennant - Released
Dean Whitehead - Released
Ryan Shotton - Released
Rory Delap - Released (likely Barnsley)
Matthew Upson - Released ( highly likely Brighton)
Matthew Lund - Released
Mamady Sidibe - Released
Carlo Nash - Released

Michael Owen - Retiring

Jonathon Walters - Sold - £4 million - Celtic/ Hull
Peter Crouch - Sold - £4 million - West Ham
Glenn Whelan - Sold - £3 million - Celtic
Maurice Edu - Sold - £2 million - Bursaspor
Asmir Begovic - Sold - £12 million - Arsenal/Man Utd
Matthew Etherington - Sold - £2 million - Hull

Jamie Ness -Loan - Motherwell
Florent Cuvelier - Loan - Peterborough

Wilson Palacios would like to leave Stoke However a buyer is unlikely to take the risk due to his lack of football and injury record

Matthew etherington is not worth that and hull are better off with what they have

Hope Cuvelier doesn't come back to us, he was horse when he came on loan last time

Cuvelier is a great young talent his goal kept Walsall up a season or two ago don't blame him for your relegation

He played 5 minutes for Posh, bit wrong to call him a 'horse!'

13 May 2013 15:24:11
Burnley have today completed the signing of Tom Heaton on a Free transfer

13 May 2013 17:32:44
Official?

13 May 2013 15:23:19
It is understood that Cardiff, Wigan and Stoke are all interested in Derby defender John Brayford.
Stoke will possibly be first choice if they bid as John is from there and wants to stay local.

Whoever gets him will get a top class full back, hope we get decent money for him 2m minimum.

Add Southampton and West Ham to the list.

1-2 million pounds. Good price for quality right back.

Praying Stoke don't get him, much better alternatives for the evaluation Derby have for him

Not for an English right back you won't!

Go on then, who's better for around 2 million? He's the best right back In the championship and has been consistently for the last 2-3 years!

Wont be surprised if we finally get him but I heard a few weeks ago that we've sent scouts to South America so maybe a couple of signings from there

Yes good in the championship, we shouldn't be looking at championship players

May as well keep Shotton, they are both as good as eachother and English and the same age

Brayford>Shotton>Wilkinson

No way Shotton is underrated, and he has shown sign of being a great fullback against premier league players, Brayford has no experience and could well be a flop in the premier league, rather take the safe option, keep shotton and save 2m

Im very much a stoke fan but I sometimes go burton and I have seen brayford from a young age and let me tell you he will not flop in the prem he is quality and coming to his peak in a few years pulis sign him up 2-4mil

Or sell wilkinson and buy brayford

13 May 2013 15:20:54
Sean Dyche wants to sign Bradford Striker Nahki Wells and Man Utds Nick Powell

13 May 2013 15:19:21
Jon Walters will look to leave stoke in the summer months with the fee believed to be around £5 million. Numerous team are interested in the Hard-working Ireland international including Sunderland, Fulham, Southampton, Norwich, Hull, Cardiff, West Brom and Celtic.

Are you having a joke, Norwich won`t have him, he`s Ipswich.

Stoke fan posted this? Not joining the saints any time soon.

Never going to Norwich ever given he's scored his fair share in the East Anglian Derby and is widely disliked in Norfolk.

As a Saints fan I hope this NEVER happens

Saints will not sign jon walters 100% guarentee saints won't pointless rumour

Not for Norwich thanks.

Completely untrue. None of these clubs want him, least of all for £5 million.

Not for us Cardiff City, he's not that good to me anyway if its a striker from stoke i'd rather Jones or Crouch and we wouldn't get those either tbh

Cardiff could probly by stokes team. two the cardiff fan you need sum 1 like john gudetti from man city on loan. saint fan

West brom want goal scorers no way is jon walters one. He misses sitters, penalties etc he is cursed lol

Jon walters is so underrated and criticized for not scoring enough goals. He prodominently plays right wing under pulis and still is our leading scorer with 11 goals all season and is a good penalty taker just look at the two against QPR

Hes also had the worst single game of any player in the league this season.

13 May 2013 15:09:37
Andy welsh has several clubs interested, left/right winger is reportedly set to sign for bradford but chesterfield, shrewsbury, yeovil all want him, sheff utd have offered him 1week trial with a view to signing him

I like him seen him at yeovil pacey and tricky too good for league 2 but if we beat northampton great signing

IMHO we need for both positions especially RW would be good to see Reid on left and welsh on right

Good signing for us plenty experience smith is good friends with him

13 May 2013 15:03:30
Dicky Creswell is having talks with Fleetwood.

13 May 2013 14:53:20
Local media reporting that Chairman Nicola Cortese is set to leave Saints after a rift with Liebherr family - this would leave a split amongst us saints fans, and although NC has a ruthless streak there can be no doubt that he only has the best interestes of the football club at heart. He needs to stay and to ensure at least some degree of continuity if not at Magaerial level, then at his psoition to ensure we continue to grow back in to our place as a perenial PL outfit. long live NC.

13 May 2013 14:45:18
Scott flinders has rejected the chance to join Bristol City as he doesn't think the wages on offer are worth moving south. City set to look elsewhere, Steve Phillips is thought to be a name mentioned.

Have this on very good authority and a very reliable source.

I can't see Philips coming back after he betrayed us and went to Rovers

We'd never re-sign dodgy Phillips! Was a rubbish keeper at us the first time, would make the odd wonder save but never consistent enough and tbf he's found his best form at Crewe! He's also in his 30's, and we're signing players 24 and under

Steve Phillips can sign for anyone without putting down one of his pints?

13 May 2013 14:42:21
Wolves are looking to offload midfielder Jamie O'hara, who is on wages of £35k per week. A number of clubs are roumered to be interested, with Aston Villa, Cardiff, and QPR leading the chase

Can't see a premier league team touching him

Harry Redknapp had him at Spurs and sold him to Wolves. You are the weakest link, goodbye.

Was woeful this season. So no chance of going back to premiership.

Would suit QPR perfectly. Rubbish player on big wages

13 May 2013 14:41:43
Burnley pair Brian stock and marvin Bartley will join Championship club afc bournemouth in a double deal worth up to 600k

Please, please take them.

I don't want Bartley back because of the way he left and from what I read he ran hot and cold at Burnley

NO WAY! apart from anything else, that's stupid money.

Brian Stocks best years are behind him and Bartley has hit a wall since leaving Bournemouth

I wouldn't be too disappointed as a burnley fan with this, as long as we bring in two new midfielders to replace

Can't imagine Howe is going to make the same mistake twice with the woeful Stock so we're probably stuck with him. I love Bartley's attitude and endeavour but he may not quite be up to it at Championship level.

Bartley wouldn't get into the team anyway

13 May 2013 14:39:35
Ex Millwall manager Kenny Jacket in talks to take over at relegated Wolves.

13 May 2013 16:37:30
No surprises there then!

Being a millwall fan I heard this a few weeks ago and would not be surprised if this is true

Millwall are set to get a pay off I he takes the job

Why? He offered his resignation, it was accepted. So doesn't that make him a free agent?

He resigned and in he's contract e can't manage another team for 12 months. He joins wolves, wolves pay comp.

He had a one year rolling contract, meaning he is in his notice period for a year.

13 May 2013 14:38:34
News around Rockliffe is that Middlesbrough will be graced with the return of Yakubu, as the 30 year old wants a return to English football

30 years old, seriously? I believe he may have Taribo West's passport!

Class if true

Hope so the yak was the best forword I've seen at the boro. Would still get 15 plus goals

Yak is still only 30, it would be good deal for the club. Also if we can get Danny graham on loan aswell and also Leigh griffits that would be strikers sorted

Unlikely but would be great

Even if this was true, how would this be a good thing? 30odd yo now, fat, slow and lazy and can't hit a barn door anymore lmao

13 May 2013 14:36:26
Swindon will announce 2 new board members this week, probably Thursday.

No new news here then crouch and power to be announced.

Jamie pitman is going to be taking over from Paul bodin at the county ground running all the kids and youth teams. good luck to Him, he's a good bloke.

Power is a good guy believe it or not, good football man who has seen it and done it.

13 May 2013 14:34:57
kevin davies is set to join mk dons on a free transfer after a faliure to agree terms with sheffield wednesday following his release from bolton

His wages would be too high for us. Plus he'd surely get a championship club sooner or later.

13 May 2013 14:12:52
mk dons to sign jon daly on a free

14 May 2013 06:40:29
Think he will go rangers get more money

He'd get more money on the dole. Dons have no money, period.

13 May 2013 14:07:20
Mansfield top scorer Matt Green given a trial with Birmingham

13 May 2013 14:24:47
Danny graham could be available for loan next season, as Sunderland are looking to sign a new striker under Si canio. Middlesbrough interested

Gone 990 minutes without a goal, would be a poor signing and waste of a wage

No would love it but its not going to happen ppl

Not happening

13 May 2013 13:50:07
Newcastle Transfers:

In:
Andy Carroll - 13 million
Joey Barton - Free
Pierre Emerick Aubameyang - 15 million
Loic Remy - 8 million
Junior Hoilett - 4 million
Nicolas N'Koulou - 12 million

Out:
Cisse - Borussia Dortmund 14 million
Coloccini - San Lorenzo - 5 million
Obertan - Saint Etienne - 2 million
Harper - Retiring
Danny Simpson - Stoke - Free

Why would you buy 3 strikers totalling to 35 mill and if you buy them three you won't b getting n'koulou. Try to think reasonably.

I doubt Newcastle have £31 million to spend on Transfers especially with the majority of the funds being spent on 4 players

I also doubt Barton will leave Marseille as he enjoys the lifestyle

13 May 2013 13:46:02
James Beattie will take over at accrington and his 1st signings will be Nicky Hunt on a free after his release from rotherham and Andy Proctor from preston. Lee Molyneux though has already signed for Mega Bucks Fleetwood. Rachubka will not be signed full-time as Dunbavins been given a new deal. Will Hatfield is also been watched by Burton as a replcement for Zolo and Maghoma. 27

Jesus Navas to Arsenal for £17.9m

He gets home sickness

13 May 2013 12:40:13
Barnsley also interested in Ashley Barnes

Having watched Ashley Barnes last night, the lads obliviously got talent, and I really can't see us getting him on a free, I'd like him to come too oakwell, but I really can't see it

13 May 2013 12:23:29
Walsall f. c have anounced Richard O' Kelly as their new assistant manager.
O'Kelly, 56, is a former Walsall Striker and was also part of Dean Smiths Set -up in the 2011-2012 season but O'Kelly Left to join Bristol City as assisant manager.
Strong reports all so suggest Jon Stead and Mark Wilson could be on they way over with O'Kelly as they are out of contract at at ashton gate.

Stead is moving back up north, up to M6 a few miles isn't north!

You must be mad if you think Stead would go to Walsall

13 May 2013 12:50:10
Neymar to Barca - £25m
Fabregas to Manchester United - £22m
Remy to Arsenal - £8m

Song to PSG £18m
Ibrahimovic to Juve £27m
Villa to Spurs £17.5m
Bale To Real Madrid £57.5m
Odemwingie to Sunderland £2m

Iberia wouldn't cost 27 mill as he was top scorer in the serie a for Milan and he went for 15 mill it's just the wages the team who wants to buy him have to worry about.

13 May 2013 12:10:54
Stoke are looking to bid for Brighton Trio for £10 million
Liam Bridcutt
Will Buckley
Ashley Barnes

It's gone up a million in the last couple of days?, great stuff.

Stoke are looking to bid for Brighton Trio for £11 million
Liam Bridcutt
Will Buckley
Ashley Barnes

Stoke are looking to bid for Brighton Trio for £12 million

Pulis will leave Stoke this summer with the favourites to replace him being
Rafa Benitez
Martin O'Neil
Steve Bould
Neil Lennon
Gus Poyet
Roberto Di Matteo

Unbeleveable
add a few more on that list Tony's going no ware

13 May 2013 12:06:58
Stoke will look to Sign Blackburn Fullback and Sweden Internation Martin Olsson for £4.5 million in the summer

13 May 2013 12:04:54
Stoke Summer Outs
Jon Walters - £4 million Celtic/Cardiff/Hull
Etherington - £1 million Burnley
Whelan - £3 million Celtic or Hull

Walters won't leave.

Burnly cannot afford a 1 million price tag

There's bugger all way Burnley will be paying money like that- unless Austin goes and its for his replacement!

In which case Nahki Wells at Bradford is the likely choice.

I can't see burnley paying £1 million for any player, even if we do sell charlie austin. plus there are more areas of the team that need strengthening before we'd consider buying yet another winger!

Etherington at 32 won't be coming to Burnley let alone for £1 million

Etherington to us (Burnley) is complete nonsense. Coming off PL wages, 32 years old - I like him as a player but he's the antithesis of what Dyche has been tasked to do.

13 May 2013 12:04:19
Stevenage are interested in signing Calvin Zola from Burton Albion.

He lives in the Wirral, travels daily to Burton, you really think he would do the same to Stevenage? Poor rumour.

Probably won't happen but would be a good signing for stevenage if it does

So who was the Calvin Zola lookalike at the Stevenage training ground Monday morning if it wasn't the man himself?

He stayed local (Wirral) for personal reasons. It doesn't mean he will die on the Wirral!
Calvin Zola is wanted by Stevenage. Fact.

Professionally and personally it would be better for Calvin to stay at Burton. Up and coming young team, he's the star making a good name for himself, why on earth would he want to go to Stevenage who are a negative team on their down? and don't say money talks!

Being in talks with a club doesn't mean he will sign for them.
Fleetwood, Stevenage, Portsmouth, Plymouth, Peterborough, Rotherham and Walsall all interested in Zola.
And yes sorry to disappoint you but money talks, especially when you are 28 and nearing the end of your career.

Professionally? OK Burton is a L2 club.
Stevenage = L1.
Please explain. Burton fan surely.

Zola is very injury prone, this will put a lot of clubs off paying him big bucks. He could do no worse than sign a long term deal with Burton keeping him at the Pirelli till the end of his career. Yes I am a Burton fan, and yes I want him to stay!

13 May 2013 11:48:54
Bristol city set to re sign John akinde on a three year deal also hoping to seal a deal for recently released Brian Jensen.

13 May 2013 11:28:43
Coventry interested in signing Stewart Murdoch from Falkirk who is out of contract

Does not score enough goals so let's hope this is not true.

13 May 2013 11:03:12
Right full back Jack Hunt will sign for Norwich from Huddersfield as part of a deal involving Simeon Jackson and James Vaughan going the other way. Hunt was big mates with Antony Pilkington up in Yorkshire and is said to be'really keen' on linking back up again. It could also be that Grant Holt - as part of a deal for Gary Hooper is about to leave for Celtic.

I would take that, we can live without Hunt

13 May 2013 13:29:04
jackson is out of contract so wudnt b involved in any deal. if norwich pay us 2million & vaughan for hunt then fair enough.

13 May 2013 14:31:41
Hunt was born in Leeds and a huge fan -if he goes anywhere it will be to leeds as a replacement should Byram be sold

13 May 2013 15:11:10
I'm not sure you would get Vaughan and £2 million for Hunt. Don't know a huge amount about him, but i'd be surprised if he is as good as either of our current 2 RB's in Martin and Whittaker.

To the guy who says he is a Leeds fan and would only sign for them, I think you may be a little ignorant to the way transfers work. Firstly a club has to make an acceptable offer to the selling club. If Norwich and Leeds are both in for him, Leeds would not be able to get close in terms of transfer fees to what Norwich could offer if they genuinely want him. Secondly Hunt is not going to turn down higher wages and premier league football to play for Leeds. It just doesn't happen these days. I mean, look at Howson, not only a Leeds fan, but he came through your youth system, was he your youngest ever captain? Made 200 odd appearances for you etc and jumped at the chance to sign for Norwich. As did Johnson, Becchio and the best of the lot, Snodgrass.

Aside from the above, I don't think we will be in for him. We are looking at a higher caliber of player this year, already proven by the £8. 5 Million signing of Ricky van Wolfswinkle. You can have Vaughan for £3 million and keep Hunt.

That would be good, well at least the mates stuff is true, Pilks, Ward, Hunt and Morrison were big buddies.

Well in the end if norwich want him he will follow suit and go to leeds for a season for Norwich to just take him for pennies.

but either way, don't rate him the highly and Norwich have enough at right back with Martin and Whittaker.

Nahki Wells is close to signing for huddersfield for a reported fee of 1.2 million. Esteban Granero of qpr is a town target with Jack Hunt going the other way in a cash plus player deal.

Hunt is a man united fan so no chance of him going to Leeds

Stop making things up about Hunt, he was born in Rothwell, supports Leeds, but won't go to Leeds, since they already have, admittedly, a better right back than Hunt, so will probably be staying, if no one can rack up 2-3m for him, and that Granero rumour, we will no way get a player of his quality.

14 May 2013 09:41:15
If you read his twitter feed he is quite clearly a Manchester United fan so he isn't making it up! Loads of Manchester United fans in Leeds.

We don't need another rb, we've got whittaker and martin!

13 May 2013 10:31:53
Zat Knight is seemingly heading for the Reebok exit door, a fee believed to be in the region of 2million is being stated but wanderers won't release a club name until solidarity in the deal is clear. This and the sale of Matt Mills to Leeds, for 2million, could provide more than enough money to fund a move for West Broms Craig Dawson.

Dawson not for sale.

Dawson won't go to bolton already said he wants to fight for a place at West Brom.

Your living in cuckoo land if you think we would sell him

£1m for Mills

13 May 2013 10:40:48
Huddersfield targets:
James Vaughan
Simeon Jackson ( big wages )
Henderson ( free )
Tomlin ( unlikely )

Also monitoring target in Scandinavia

Huddersfield rumoured to be lining up £3m for Vaughan (max bid if required), however don't seem to be following up on Beckford who is linked with £1m move to Bolton

Which Henderson?

Which Henderson?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

He will be talking about Darius Henderson I presume. Just another Alan Lee really. Infact I'd rather have Lee

Darius Henderson is way past his peak, and yes wages are the problem with Jackson

Bristol city have made a few inquiry's already as SOD looks to build a squad for next season
Tom Eastman (Colchester)
Scott flinders (Hartlepool)
David worrell (bury)
Tom Flanagan (mk dons)
Eddie oshodi (FGR)
Luke freeman (Stevenage)
Marlon pack (Cheltenham)
Will Grigg (Walsall)
Liam cooper (chesterfield)

Forget Cooper from Chesterfield already spoken to 2 premiership teams one being Swansea.

Can't see cooper going to be honest

Nothing wrong with making enquiries though! most of these would require big figures though and that's something we can't do!

Doubt Colchester would sell Eastman unless its a BIG offer, plus he's just signed a 2 year contract extension and is vital to the defence.
He also is local to the area; can't see him upping sticks to the west country for league 1 football when he's already in league 1.

Not being biased but Liam Cooper is one of the best centre backs I've seen at chesterfield for a long time since Ian Evatt even

Cliftonville keeper Conor Devlin set to leave on a free with Leeds and Celtic both interested

13 May 2013 11:43:41
Crawley are close to agreeing a deal to bring Shrewsburys Jon Taylor to the Broadfield on a free transfer. They are also talking to Peterborough re Tyrone Barnett but the fee is probably a little too much for Crawley at this moment in time. Matt Tubbs likely to stay with Bournemouth next season.

Jon Taylor was at the Broadfield for talks last Friday but is still considering his options despite Crawley making a decent offer.

Doubt Crawley are signing Taylor on a free as he is 20 and has been offered a deal by Shrewsbury. Unless Crawley have rewritten the rules regarding transfers overnight they will owe a tidy sum in compensation.

Jon Taylor to Crawley? You're having a laugh there mate!
No way!

I've heard that Nottingham Forest want to sign him.

No Chance Mate, Taylor Not Coming To You! If He Goes Anywhere He'll Got To A Bigger Club Or A Championship Club, Also Get Your Facts Right He Won't Be On A Free Becasue You'll Have To Pay A Fee, Due To His Age! STFC OLI

Hes not leaving

Jon Taylor is to good for crawley - going to crawley is a backward step and he is at a bigger club at the momuent

Doubt it as he has been in Ibiza all week!

Jon Taylor was flying to Ibiza on Friday so unlikely to have been in Crawley, unless he got lost on the way to Gatwick

At Crawley for talks last Friday? Not bad considering he was in Ibiza!

13 May 2013 17:28:52
Iv'e heard wolves are interested

Oh dear, Crawley are dreaming saw Taylor a couple of times at Dean Court and looks a good player who will be going to a top League 1 side who can afford compensation or a Chmapionship side. Hopefully Tubbs will stay good local lad and will chip in with a couple of goals. Can't see Crawley doing much next year!

The Barnett deal could happen. He's a good player really, Posh will regret letting him go.

Cooper was descent for bournemouth

With Andy Carroll stating his desire to return to newcastle, West ham have turned their attentions to Jelavic and Crouch for next season, with bids also expected for Chris Solly and Martin Olsson

13 May 2013 11:31:09
doncaster left back tommy spurr is out of contact and with them been managerless mark robins is looking to swoop and sign him for Huddersfield. This would be in line with woods going to right back and jack hunt been sold to sunderland or cardiff for 2.5million.

Spurr has already agreed a 2 year deal at Donny he will sign it as soon as the new manager is in place so this is rubbish

Spurr is staying at doncaster

Spurr has been seen in Leeds by a mate of mine, not sure what this means????

13 May 2013 21:22:53
who agrees a 2year deal when there isn't even a manger in place! and if its long ball dickov then he will defo go to hudders on a free!

Just because they've been seen there doesn't mean they're automatically signing them

He will go to who offers him the most money!

14 May 2013 08:00:57
he lives in leeds so cause he's going to be seen there!

Tommy Spurr was born in Leeds and has lived there all his life throughout his Wednesday and rovers career! May explain why he was seen in leeds. Good player though need to keep him!

Rotherham looking to sign ex-Torquay center back Chris Robertson who's been told he can leave Preston

Robertson is close to signing for Cheltenham Town - Mark Yates has been an admirer for 2 seasons now.

Doesn't stop Rotherham being interested though does it?

13 May 2013 13:22:39
robbo will sign for whoever offers preston the best deal

He can go average defender at best
another spectacular westley signing
stevenage must be real gluttons for punishment watching that crap all week

Was average at best when at Torquay, I was surprised that Preston were even watching him! Nothing to get excited about.

13 May 2013 10:57:19
Paul Dickov (Former Oldham Manager & Manchester City Striker) Has Been Spotted At The Keepmoat Stadium For "Advanced Talks" About The Management Position At Doncaster Rovers.

He Is The Favourite To Take Over From Bryan Flynn, While Other Candidates Are:

Kenny Jackett - Former Millwall Manager, Decent Manager At Championship Level - Previous Club: Millwall FC

Paul Sturrock - Vast Experience At Championship Level, Having Managed Sheffield Wednesday And Plymouth Argyle In The Championship - Previous Club: Southend United

Neil Warnock - Has Stated His Interest In The Job But Is One Of The Lesser Favoured Candidates - Previous Club: Leeds United

Martin Allen - Not Much Championship Experience, Least Favoured Candidate Having Guided Gillingham To Promotion In The 2012/13 Season - Previous Club: N/A (Still At Gillingham)

Hope Warnock gets it and takes all the dross he signed for Leeds with him.

Haha I feel for donny if dickov has half a chance because he can talk the talk. So he might be able to blag himself into management again. He was out of his depth at oldham so I can't see it happening

Paul Sturrock would be good manager for Doncaster And is a top guy to.

Andrew Surman to Sheff Wed for 700k.

Leeds have enquired about the signing of Billy Sharp as they face a lot of competition for Adam Le Fondre.

Either would be good in my opinion

Scott Davies and Deane Smalley turn down deals at Oxford United. Davies set to sign 2 year deal at Wycombe and Smalley in talks about a return to Chesterfield.

13 May 2013 12:26:24
No great loss really neither did much at oxford and better players out there to bring in I hope

Wycombe don't want poxy Scott Davies, he's nothing but a hollywood baller! He wouldn't fit in with our hardworking-tough tackling midfielders! Plus we have Matt Spring who knows how to pass a ball and has been back to the player we know he can be. We don't need any more midfielders!

Smalley will not be returning to Chesterfield. The front line is now sorted

Unless Smalley can play centre half there's no chance he's coming back to Chesterfield

13 May 2013 09:27:00
Any news about Wilfred bony, Gary hooper etc.

West Brom leading race for Hooper i've been told

Bony has been linked with Fulham, West ham and Everton.

Redknapp also wants Hooper to join QPR to fire them back up to the premier league.

13 May 2013 09:10:12
Barnsley to sign James Bailey from derby,

200-300k.

Sold.

Pretty much you are a dead cert to get him if you make a bid.

Very good player at what he does but is limited to a level. He plays just infront of the back 4 and loves a pass but has a problem where he doesn't pass and move. Expects everyone to admire the pass. Basically a lesser version of Liam Bridcutt at Brighton.

13 May 2013 17:07:41
Johnny Russell seen in derby

13 May 2013 08:52:20
Based On Reports Stating That Gabor Gyepes Has "Severed Ties" At Portsmouth, And Confirmation He Has Left, He Looks Set To Sign For One Of The Following 10 Clubs After Expressing His Desire To Remain In Southern England:

Southend United Football Club
Leyton Orient Football Club
Crawley Town Football Club
Exeter City Football Club
Gillingham Football Club
Dagenham & Redbridge Football Club
Torquay United Football Club
Plymouth Argyle Football Club
Bristol Rovers Football Club
Oxford United Football Club

He said he is most likely to go back to hungary as he feels he can own a similar wage in his home country to what he could at pompey. This means he would need a good wage offer to stay in england.

No - Gyepes has left Pompey to go back to Hungary because his wife and kids are out there!

Argyle don't need anymore centre backs

The reason he left Pompey was so that he didn't have to uproot his family in Hungary. Unless one of these clubs is offering 10k p/w+, which I doubt, then he will return to Hungary. As one of the most honest men ever at Fratton park, I highly doubt he would do that. Sorry.

He also said that he could do a job in the championship, so no way will he play for a 4th div club if he will not stay at Pompey, so that counts out most of the clubs listed

10k week in league 1?! no wonder you lot nearly went bust! who's the brains behind this giving these wages out?!

He wasn't on 10k at Pompey, closer to 2-3k but wouldn't be anywhere near that this year, and he can earn similar to that level playing in Hungary and being near his young children. It wouldn't take 10k to get him to stay in England but I'd imagine it would be close to 4-5k and most league 2 clubs won't pay that!

"£10k a week"
read the post again, we weren't paying him that much its pure speculation, we are now paying average Lge 2 wages at best. Patrick Agyemang has taken a drop in wages to sign for us,

He wasnt on 10k in League 1, we was in admin the whole season and Trevor birch and his team was in charge of the money side of things so 10k that's way off.

I never said that is what he was on. that is what he is wanting to stay in England. Back in Hungary he can get 5k in their first division, so why would he stay here for less than 10. God people, so quick to jump without reading.

^^ Wasnt replying to you :) was replying to the 6th post.

To be honest I doubt many of you know what it'll take to persuade him to stay in england so this ''it'll take 10k for him to stay in england'' is just pure clutching at straws.

13 May 2013 08:50:23
Notts County to announce 2 signings by the end of the week. Can't say who as it would ruin the surprise. But very exciting news indeed so keep your eye on the website!

13 May 2013 10:10:35
what positions?

13 May 2013 12:07:45
Are they from Lincoln Ladies?

Striker and midfielder

Jimmy Ryan and Marvin Morgan. Heard it here first!

Hope not when it comes to morgan rated him few year back would only offer a one year deal with view to extension at most

Derby expect to tie up a new contract for Craig Bryson (so much for me attempting to post I rumour about his family being homesick).

John Brayford's situation less certain. There was interest in the last winter transfer window, and Brayford is seeing what is on offer first.

Source Clough interview in today's DET

Bryson will sign a new deal.

Brayford 1-2 million anywhere between with a sell on percentage clause.

Likely West Ham, Cardiff, Wigan.

13 May 2013 08:40:35
Swindons entire first team squad has been made available for transfer. The board will consider all realistic bids, most will go for below market value due to financial problems at the club. The takeover cost the consortium considerably more than expected and if they are unable to reduce costs significantly, it is feared administration could be unavoidable, hence the 50% reductilon in the playing budget for next season. Very worrying summer ahead.

13 May 2013 10:26:01
This has been placed by an Oxford or Bournemouth fan total fabrication.

Sadly most of this is true, I have a mate who works at the club. It is not just the playing staff that are at risk either. There will almost certainly be some redundancies announced within the next 2 weeks. The problem is the board don't have the money to get through the summer with no income coming in. The board are ready to sell if an offer comes in that will enable them to walk away with a profit.
Why can't we just have a club that is run properly. It's so unfair.

Yes very good hopefully Roberts Navarro and Williams go.

Think you will find that its true, although a list hasn't been drafted and sent to other clubs the whole squad is up for sale, some of the players have been told the club will not ask for a fee if they want to move on, due to wages.

You need to get your facts right before you post them buddy, no doubt you got this info from the race night for Andy rowland, firstly they didn't have to purchase the club as it cost them nothing all they done was inherit the debt and the massive £250,000 wage bill the club had, they have already reduced this massively with paol and his backroom staff going, they have about 4 players on big money around 7k a week unfortunately three have still a year to run, ferry wasn't one of them they will reduce the playing squad, they will take offers for Roberts, Navarro and Williams and possibly ward, the rest will remain if a descent offer comes in for wes they will look at it, they are over staffed in the back office and will trim staff there also as they have far to many, they will have money coming in from the sale of caddis and possibly 25 percent clause if Charlie Austin moves in per season. after this it will settle down Swindon have already agreed season long longs with young fringe players from Everton, villa and spurs, Swindon will have a mixture of young loan players and the rest will be old heads, any new board who are not as cash rich as the other board would cut costs like this. the old board wiped out the debt as the bent was to them, they owe no money to banks or the Hmrc. T

Sorry for the typos above it was very late when replying, basically the new board will cut its cloth accordingly so that stfc survives, they also might surprise a few in the coming months, like I said above for a league 1 club the old division 3 paying £250,000 a month in wages is staggering, this needs to be reduced massively, Swindon also have some very descent loan players coming in, I think they have looked at the way Yeovil have managed this season and fair play to them on half the budget of stfc, it can be done.

14 May 2013 10:46:51
Are you sure they don't owe black money that's why they got the club cheap so they could takeover and cut the wages budget
And run the club more cheaper so they can give black some more money

The owners are stripping the clubs assets. Senior players are walking awy due to lack of funds for competetive salaries. The rot is starting to set in already, with foderingham on his way to a higher league club. Mamy players will be out ofcontract this summer anddont want to stay at a struggling club. Totally gutted, we are the biggest club on the south west and we are being mugged by ourcowboy owners

Good post last blokey, what can we expect as Town fans, PDC wasted so much money Jwray may have been loved but he is as guilty, Spencer made 1million in fees in 18months and PDC demanded the new board double his wage, if that had kept on we wouldn't have a club, people should get off the new boards back and let KMAc try to uncover some gems, we will have a smaller budget but still a lot bigger than many teams in the league

The owners bought the club for £1 from Andrew Black who wiped ALL debt along with the other previous board members. The current board want to reduce the wage bill to run the club in a sustainable way on 8, 500 crowds. The whole team has NOT been put up for sale although if a decent offer comes in for any player then it will be considered as would any club in League 1 and 2. Some exciting young players from a number of Premier clubs are being lined up on season long loans along with a number of experienced frees.

100 percent black wrote the debt off and they basically paid nothing for it, wes will not be going anywhere unless someone pays big money for him. we have one player still with a year on his contract on over 7 k a week and he had been injured for a long time back fit now the season has finished?

14 May 2013 20:11:08
We got 8500 average crowd because they sold ritchie that showed a lack of ambition towards the end of the season if the fans believe in the team we would have got 12000 fans towards the end of season making an average of 10000 fans
next season we will be lucky if we average 6000 fans because of this new board trying to line there pockets

With regards the new board members joining? Crouch and power! I think the fans should get behind them, a very good friend of mine worked with power and he has nothing but good words to say about him, his words he is a top bloke genuine guy true football man he has a few quid and is well connected in the football arena. going back to the previous post every club is a selling club at the right price after all its a business, we are still lucky we have a club after black and dicanio walked away, thanks to jed we are still in the football league, one thing jed and board need to do more is embrace the town fans more and more communication moving forward.

Crouch and power may have a clue about how to communicate with people cause Jed and co know nothing about how to run a football club, they are alienating themselves which is dangerous

13 May 2013 07:14:04
I've heard that Marcus Bent is keen to give English football one more season before retiring. AFC Wimbledon, Portsmouth and Stevenage are possible destinations.

Heard it all before we've been linked with him for the past 2 seasons

Worst rumour I've heard so far

13 May 2013 06:10:53
Oxford have held advanced talks with Shaun harrad also interested in bury's andy bishop. Jon Paul Pittman who was realised by oxford is set to sign for home town club brackley town.

I don't think Pittman will drop below conference.

Harrad has said he would snap up the opportunity to return to Cheltenham next season, and it looks like the move could happen within the next week.

Shaun would be a great signing and is sure to get in to double figures each season!

JP Pittman was born in the USA.

But moved to Brackley when was a toddler, and has lived back there for years!

13 May 2013 03:46:32
Norwich interested in signing (will not sign all) the signings also depend on those who are outgoing:

GK:
Lee Camp - 1 year contract extension

LB:
Javier Garrido (Lazio)
Martin Olsson (Blackburn)

CB:
Curtis Davies (Birmingham)

CM:
Lucas Biglia (Anderlecht)
Keuseke Honda (CSKA Moscow)
Ever Banega (Valencia)

LW:
Nathan Redmond (Birmingham)

ST:
Gary Hooper (Celtic)

Possible Outgoings:
Declan Rudd - loan
Jed Steer - loan
George Francomb
Leon Barnett
Elliott Ward
Daniel Ayala
Marc Tierney
David Fox
Korey Smith
Tom Adeyemi
Andrew Surman
James Vaughan
Simeon Jackson
Chris Martin - Derby

Yeah think this is reasonable, but think a lot of these are old targets to be honest. As for the outgoings, think you're right but when you look at it, really is a Lambert fire sale haha

Martin signed for Derby 4 days ago keep up

Chris Martin has already signed for Derby so he is definitly out

Dont think ayala will go tho

Not sure Camp will be offered an extension. Only if he has a tiny wage.

I'm pretty sure camp won't be staying
Brought in as we only had 1 gk and no back up

You left hughton out on your outs list lo try and get it right lo xxxx

Ch done his job and won't be going anywhere next season he will be more attacking and looking at top 10 lol all you want

Why on earth would Hughton be leaving when they are giving him decent money to invest and when he has achieved the season target of avoiding relegation! Why have some Norwich fans got it in their heads that we should be pushing so high up the table? We are a small club with a tiny budget in comparison to those around us, Hughton is building a good project at Norwich and is doing it the right way sorting out the defence first and is now sorting the attacking side of our team. You Madam are a fool.

13 May 2013 07:07:36
Peterborough striker Tyrone Barnett to sign for Ipswich.

Lets hope so, 1 mill for a donkey, if we can get half of that Barry has done miracles

You won't get anything as his contract is up

Is he really? Check your facts.

His contract is not up he join last summer on four yrs

Ipswich fan here. I know Peterborough are quite savvy and I doubt they'd sign a player such as Barnett for a £1 million and then let his contract expire. I'm sure he would command a fee but I doubt we will look to sign him.

I very much doubt his contract is up he only signed this season

Id happily drive barnett to ipswich!

Barnett is quite good, the fickle fans of Peterborough seem to quickly forget some of the goals he did to keep us up last season. Anyone remember? Or too busy joining the anti-Barnett band wagon?

Jack Payne said he wants to stay at gilingham now were in the same league

The goals he scored to keep us up? That never happened, why make up something that NEVER happened?

13 May 2013 07:04:56
Gillingham midfielder Jack Payne is to complete a 375,000 deal to join Peterborough United

I hope he dos by far one of the best players in second half of the season

He will go for more than that looking at around the 700,000 mark top class player who has proved that he is championship standard.

A good player, could happen, I hope.

13 May 2013 00:37:13
Scott Flinders of Hartlepool to sign for Oldham

12 May 2013 23:58:02
Andy Welsh has met with Phil parkinson I have on good authority last week, although chesterfield, leyton orient and yeovil are all planning talks with him before end of month

Yeovil won't sign him we have sam foley

The only way he'll go to yeovil is if he's willing to accept a very low wage and to sit on the bench most of the season, he'd be a good squad player to have but I think he'd get more attractive offers

Welsh is better than foley he was class for us and we haven't replaced him since! (plus I heard he helped madden get sorted to us)

We have Sam foley who has no pace get Welsh back we love him shouldn't have left

Link hm up with his old team mate smith would be awesome combo

Welsh skinned talbot last time we played Carlisle would be brilliant signing

Foley is much better than welsh. Divisions apart

Cant wait we will win sunday and he will be a big player for us in championship come on glovers weeembley

Disagree andy was excellent for is completely different player to foley and he go lots of assists see you at wembley come on gj you can get us up

I hope for your sake you don't get whittaker he's only good for penalties! he can't tackle to save his life. He can't shoot, he sides foots it every time never with any power (great for a midefielder who never gets in the box), he also couldn't get into chezy's squad last year. PS: Thank you Paul Cook for getting rid of this waste of space.

12 May 2013 23:50:59
Hull City to sign:

Curtis Davies - Birmingham City,
Charlie Austin - Burnley,
Ahmed Elmohamady - Sunderland,
David Stockdale - Fulham,
Adam Le Fondre - Reading.

Don't know if Le Fondre and Austin are true, they're just rumours I've heard.

Hull will need to fork out a good £20m to get all of those

Charlie Austin is very unlikely to want to move to Hull was he is house hunting in Poole presently.
He has publicly stated that he wants to head South. So I can't see it unless there's loads of money involved

Why don't they try and get jozy altidore back

Are there any new Fulham rumours instead of Hull signings?

None of those players would cost 4 million it would cost around 10 for them all

Charlie austin said he's willing to see out the reat ov his contract at burnley UNLESS a premiership team comes in for him, he's said nothing of the sort about wanting to go back down south!

Stockdale will cost at least £4 million though I would prefer to see him as Fulham's number 1 next year

Stock dale is useless Schwarzer is much more reliable and experienced and I think Jol is looking for a new keeper with the likes of Stekelelnberg on his list.

How much have you seen of Stockdale?

Stockdale is not useless great shot stopper justs lacks experience which he will not get sitting on a bench at fulham. Scwartzer too old been great lately but remember early in the season he was dropped because he was looking too nervy. Time to pension him off.

He abut Stockdale cost us the game at home to Swansea and at many other games he doesn't look all that. We need a new keeper in the summer like Stekelenberg or Marchetti.

Yup can see all of those happening. Not sure about this Gayle guy. Any good? We'l have townsend instead of carroll aswell.

No complaints, would be sad to see Fox go though and Jackson

We will be looking for much better quality then Dwight Gayle, Tom Carroll and Curtis Davies now. Redmond would be a good investment for the future but would mean Elliott Bennett would likely leave.

If we are letting Barnett, Ayala and Ward go we will need at least 2 new CB's.

So that is four more forwards in having already bought RVW. Five forwards in a 25 man squad would leave us short elsewhere, so which of the five expensive imports do you think that CH will leave out of his PL squad?!

Lucasz Piszczek?! Have you lost you mind?! He's a regular for Dortmund!

at IceCanary, Lukasz Piszczek? Really? A player who is about to play in a Champions League final for Dortmund will move to Norwich? There's a difference between ambitious and ridiculous. Can't see Johnson leaving after considering he's been a regular all season.

Please stop linking us with champo and l1 players. we really need more drive than they can give us!

I'm a Norwich Fan but Pizchek is a bit of a joke. In the Champions league final and starts every match for Dortmund, Seems a bit unlikely to be honest

Pizchek is a bit of a joke. 5 strikers is a bit much but would be happy with RVW and either Becchio or Holt along with an extra 2 strikers. Then also need new wingers so if one of them could be another striker option we definetly wouldn't be left short or have Carlton Morris from the Youth team as 5th choice striker.

I think we need to sign.
GK - Will Britt from Saints as a youth keeper, however Loan in someone like Costil Pantilamon from Man City as 2nd or 3rd choice keeper whilst him and Rudd are gaining more experience. Also with Rudd maybe making a perminent move to Preston, Britt would be a very good youth keeper to be bringing through the ranks.

I would happily sign Curtis Davies, like was attempted in January and I think with R. Bennett's performances recently, Him, Bassong, Davies and Turner would be a perfectly good line up of centre backs. Also sign Garrido and sell Tierney and get a better back up LB in as well.

Would like to also see us get a couple of Wingers in and would be very happy with Redmond like rumored. Definatley think that out wide and an attacking midfielder is where our money should be spent, along with the additional Strikers. Even though, with Redmond coming in, i'd have to say I couldn't see Elliot Bennett staying, which will be a big loss to the club. But this is where we have to build the club and clear out all old driftwood such as Fox, Barnett, Jackson, Smith, Tierney Etc. Rant Over lol

Ogbonna are you kidding I wish I could say I believed you but united were linked with him for 16m!!

There is going to be a summer exodus at Stoke city as the club look to reduce the wage bill. All of the following players are looking for new clubs

Begovic 15m - Arsenal/Liverpool/Barca
Crouch 4m - QPR/West Ham
Jones 3m - Cardiff/Malaga
Palacios 3m - Norwich/Hull
Etherington 1m - Blackburn
Kightly 2m - N. Forest
Pennant - released
Owen - retiring
Whitehead will be offered a new contract

Im a Hull fan and I would like to see us sign Wilson Palacios as I think he is a deccent player, but because he hasn't played too much recently I think 3m is a bit too much

It wouldn't surprise me if Palacios joined Hull - but the price stated here is too high and his wage demands could exceed his real worth. I'd be happy to see him join on a pay-as-you-play deal but he might get a better deal elsewhere, S. America maybe.
